Magical Temple Of The Ruins - Closed To Suri

The sentry guarding the temple was a 6'5ft towering android that looked to be ancient design rather than the modern look. Crawling from the ground and finally revealing himself as the girl walked closer, Mendra was the one to quickly address Fenrir. 

"There is a majin woman here and it appears she is investigating the area. Perhaps if you save her, she will aid you in the dangerous temple." 

Fenrir could indeed sense her energy and wondered what the hell a majin was so he had asked. 

"Mendra what is a majin?" 

Mendra chuckled as Fenrir stealthily made his way over to her. 

"A majin is an entity being entirely made of a gum like substance. They were born entirely out of magic i'm assuming. Even I don't know their origins all too well. Most that I have encounter during my time were evil, though that has changed over time." 

"Guess we will have to see for ourselves then." 

The giant robot made his appearance known as he spotted the girl and now towered over her. He was ready to strike at her and by the looks of it, it was going to be the same attack he had just tried to do on Fenrir. Fenrir was quick this time and smoke appearing just behind the giant and the white snake was quick to wrap its body all around the android and upon firing his flamethrower like blast, it impacting the sky instead of the girl. Fenrir was quick to then twirl his body in a one hand stand approach, slicing the android's head off with his sword leg. Upon landing he slammed his hand straight at the android's chest, causing the abundance of snakes from within the android to eat up his circuits in a matter of seconds. Fenrir quickly attempted to grab the girl and if this was successful, they both would phase into the ground and onto a high branch tree moments later as an explosion then occurred upon resurface. The android was no more and Fenrir laying against the tree bark and panting to himself. Whether the girl chose to go with him or chose to dodge the explosion was entirely up to her. 

 


 

"i'm not like how I use to be. hehe, you could say i'm a shell of my former self."

He looked to his left missing arm and rose to his feet and looking down at the girl. He could indeed feel her presence and now having his hand inside his robe. 

"Those snakes will eat just about anything and yes they are mine. They are demonic snakes and not the average looking ones you see roaming this planet. I am on a mission to acquire an orb that has one of my friends inside. He was sealed centuries ago and lays within that temple. The problem is, is that the temple is well guarded with sentries that I can't detect with my sensing abilities. Perhaps if we work together, we can perhaps save my friend from this temple and its sentries. What do you say?" 

He waited for her answer and looked back to where the temple was and with Mendra's help, he was facing the correct way. 

"What is your name friend? My name is Fenrir Wolf.. I have never met a majin before. What can you do that is unique to your species?"

He smirked underneath his mask and jumped off the branch and landed in front of the temple again. Only this time there was no one guarding it and the entrance to the place was narrow, as in only one person at a time could enter. Mendra noted this by speaking to him in the language of the snake. 

He'd chuckle as he looked over his shoulder at the girl. 

"No the common white snakes can't talk. They are apart of my demon that lives inside me. His name is Mendra. But there are others who can talk. The one that I am trying to save now. He was what you would consider a war hero back in his day. He had saved countless villages from enemy threats. However, he had done battle with much stronger enemies and he was eventually sealed by them in order to be used as a hostage. However, the demonic enemies who once guarded him are long gone now. All that is left behind are there ancient androids that guard him now. If you work together, we will be able to put a stop to them." 

Then she went on about her name and what she could do. He let out a smirk as he walked closer to the entrance and stood at the narrow hallway entrance of it. 

"That is a good ability to have. I wish I had it so I can get a new arm and a leg but oh well. and also m'lady, I am a blind man. This mask protects my face from incoming attacks along with hides the fact that I can't see. However, I have my snake guide Mendra to aid me. Along with my strong nose in order to track anyone's movement."

If there was nothing else that was needed to be said, he started his walk into the narrow hallways and when he had reached the end, a small waterfall could be heard the closer they got and once they got into the bigger room, they would notice the waters crashing down to the big puddle. The room seemed clear by the looks of it and Mendra even relayed that information to Fenrir through hisses. 

"There appears to be no one in sight by the looks of it. Now, are there any pathways in this room?" 

He would ask the girl for he was indeed blind. Mendra on the other hand now unwrapping himself from Fenrir and slithering himself all around the area to search for any other enemies that were nearby. 

All Fenrir could do was wait and so he did. Prepping up against a wall and placing his hand into his robe pocket, he allowed Mendra and the girl to do the work. Mendra had found a statue which looked rather out of place since the fountain had a design of that of a dragon and the small statue at the edge of the dragon statue was a cupid statue. Mendra knocking it over and seeing a button on it. He pressed it and the entire fountain stopped dripping water and began to shake which prompted Mendra to slither out of there. What was once a waterfall was now looking to be another hallway which opened itself up. The statue that once stood in the hiding spot was now in the air against the wall. 

The puddle of water that now was just the ground had vanished out of thin air. Fenrir smirked and faced at the direction of the fountain and after not hearing water anymore he figured that the secret passage had now been discovered. However the moment he stepped forward towards the secret passage, the stone dragon that once was just a mere statue, came to life and covered itself in a hot stream of water. The dragon entity itself sending a hot stream of water over to Fenrir, who immediately smirked as he slammed his hand straight at the ground. A giant snake was summoned and took the impact instead. The snake still protecting him until it slowly died off and turning back to smoke. Fenrir was now crouched low and with his right arm appearing to be in the defensive. 

"Sue, going to need you to help me take care of whatever we are fighting." 

He kept moving his head from side to side, not hearing any footsteps at all, that was due to the dragon being in the air and flying. 

Fenrir wondered where the hell the dragon was and Mendra on the other hand kept his eyes on the dragon that was above. He hissed over to Fenrir that the dragon was above the air and Fenrir focused his head upward to the light breeze of air that the stone dragon was giving off due to its wings flapping. 


 

All he heard was ice being created and growing around and the noise was coming up from above as she was just mentioning. Did this dragon have the ability of ice? Then all of a sudden, a pair of arms grabbed him and pulled him out of the area. He was then released beside the girl and he faced her direction being in utter confusion. The next thing he heard was the entire statue of the dragon breaking into several pieces. Mendra was quick to update Fenrir on what the hell just happened through hissing at him. 

"I see, you saved me girl. You truly do have unique abilities. I wonder, how far is your magic capabilities if you could turn that body of water into ice?" 

Once she gave a response, he headed over to the new discovered pathway and for some strange reason. He felt the temperature changing drastically. Going from a room temperature environment to a devastating heat. The once narrow hallway was now a wide open plain once again and the platforms of this room was drastically different than the previous room. They stood on a circular stone pillar which was 20ft in height and several of them were purposely separated from one another. Some of the pillars were fairly close to one another distance wise and only one person could stand on those pillars. There were other pillars that stood on the opposite end and those weren't jumpable at all. Furthermore down below them was a pool of lava that spewed out molted rocks from time to time. Across from them was the same platform in which they stood, which granted them freedom from the room and the distance between there and where they stood was 50ft across. Fenrir could indeed feel the intense heat and he immediately removed his top portion of his robe and throwing his mask to the side. 

"Why the hell is this room so hot." 

Mendra started to chip in and speaking in the language that was common to the both of them in which Suri could understand. 

"It appears that this room is full of lava and stone pillars are all around you guys. From the looks of it, your going to have to jump to each pillar in order to reach the end of the room." 

In order to test the theory further, several snakes were summoned and they tried to fly across, which resulted in a large circular stream of lava to come out from below and turning them into ashes. Whoever created this temple and the way it was design, made sure that it was impossible to reach the end of it. So Fenrir decided to play along and jumped from one of the platforms to the next, just barely making it as he caught himself from falling off. 

"This is indeed troublesome...it seems like I won't be able to cross without vision."

Fenrir sat down on the pillar in which he landed on and started to meditate and concentrate.

"What do you suggest we do girl?"

"If there is something you should know about this world majin, is that you never back down to the opposition. You will never grow without risk involved."

He then felt her hand nearby and upon grabbing it, he immediately spoke to her with a stern voice. 

"I want you to throw me across over!" 


If she did listen to him, he would be flung straight to the other end of the room. However, he was still detected in mid air which resulted in a lava stream coming straight at him! However, he used his phasing ability in order to have the lava go straight through him entirely. He would then find himself standing on the opposite end of the room, which prompted the entire pool of lava to shake violently. Coming out of the pool of lava was a constructed molted rock lava golem that easily towered over the both of them and scaled to a height of that of a giant. The platform in which he stood on, had a candle stick holder which when pushed down, reveals a secret door. The golem wasn't going to wait and he immediately opened his giant mouth and fired a massive lava ball straight at Fenrir. Fenrir immediately slammed his hand to the ground, summoning a giant snake in front of him to take the damage instead. Fenrir began to pant and he knew that this boss was going to be tougher than the last.
