Power Level: 32,000
Oboe sat floating within his home, meditating quietly on the top level’s dedicated shrine. His thoughts, clouded but becoming focused, had recently been a maelstrom of turmoil. Since his coronation to the position of Guru – Spiritual Leader and Guardian of the Namekian People – Oboe had found it hard to center himself in his own thoughts. His mind was filled with so much new information, so many new experiences and memories; it was a tad overwhelming when considered. Still, so much had occurred recently that it was a pleasant distraction from the hum in his mind that the Great Elders assured him would subside over time.
His thoughts, expanded as they now were, felt interconnected with the entire planet of Namek and with it, every denizen therein. It was of course no surprise to him as he detected the other lifeforms currently upon his home world. The heavy and malevolent presence of an unknown lifeform to the north, with him the presence of the strange serpent man – Fenrir. Further out, he felt the alien presence of the one known as ‘Kid’. The thought of the later elicited a smile as the Sage wondered how this refugee had been fairing upon their fair world. While wishing to confront the darker beings to the north, Oboe knew that he was not yet at one with his own power yet – not yet capable of protecting his fellows. Needing more time to synchronize with the power bestowed upon him, Oboe decided a break from his meditations was in order.
His feet, once more touching the solid surface of the stone ground, Oboe walked towards the large Domed window leading to an exterior balcony. Pressing his hand upon an unseen button, the dome cut open a small doorway that allowed the Guardian to step out upon his lookout. Gazing out towards the Ajisa Mainland, Oboe thought that he’d check in with the Refugee of Planet Plant – now known as Planet Vegeta. He desired to know more about the ‘man’ and his tale of the Saiyans – a story he was more interested in now than ever before. He couldn’t believe such a race with people such as Nashua, Ochra and Tarch could harbor such malevolent intentions. Still, the young man’s story had resonated with the Namekian who could empathize having only just experienced what a war INVOLVING Saiyans could do to a planet.
Resolving himself to the idea, Oboe would explode with a brilliant golden-white flaming aura as he flew at his highest speeds towards the Moori Capital, the largest village of his people though not in any means a sprawling city like those on Earth. Humble in its design yet somehow presenting the feeling of being bigger than it truly was, the Capital had been the center of all foreign commerce since Namek’s rejoining the space travel ways. It was there that Oboe had suggested Kid find residence as he knew the Villagers would be more than willing to assist in the creation of or the renting of one of the many homes in the city. He’d hope of course that the visitor from Plant had taken his suggestion. Estimating the trip to take two hours, Oboe fell into thoughts of what he would ask the young man in regards to his past, his journey and what his plans are going forward. It was hopefully to be a good conversation and even better, a potential bridging with another race; even if they were one of the few survivors of their kind.
