Taking a sip of her drink, Casca inspected the others at the bar. A man chatting with the bartender kept looking back at her. Unfortunate for her, she didn’t want to be noticed. Pulling the hood of her coat over her head, Casca moved towards the Casino’s floor within the Big Gamble. Escaping the streets of Vegeta proved to be more difficult than Casca previously thought. Walking the various slot machines and card tables, the young Saiyan paused before a large window over looking the whole of Vegeta. Looking out, she could barely recognize where she was due to the distance. The Big Gamble may provide a much-needed place to lay low, that’s if people don’t notice her. Breaking her concentration, Casca heard a brief pause in the Casino’s live music. Turning, she caught a glance of a news bulletin of an escaped prisoner. Shielding her face even more, Casca worked her way deeper and deeper into the crowds.

The casino was as busy as ever, with people coming and going from the planet to the Gamble and having a fun time of it all. And Riddley, the Gamble's chief of security, was sitting at the bar, as usual, drinking and taking the time to flirt with some of the female patrons. More often than not, they straight up ignored him, and those that didn't ended up throwing a drink in his face. Seriously, some women just didn't understand a man of class. Didn't they realize how important his role on the ship was? As he wiped the remaining liquid from his face, his eyes caught sight of something moving amongst the crowd. A hood. Now, if Riddley knew anything, it was that someone walking around in a hood was never a good sign. It meant that person didn't want to be seen, and if they didn't want to be seen, they were up to something. Riddley slowly rose to his feet, keeping his eyes locked firmly on the hooded figure as he moved his way through the crowd. The blue skinned alien was a master at moving quickly, either to track someone down, or run from danger really, really quickly. quickly, Riddley closed in on the target. As he got within reach, his hand reached out and gripped them by the shoulder. "Need anything?" he spoke, putting on a slightly jovial tone. After all, he did feel big about catching potential trouble makers. It just meant he was doing his job, unlike what OTHERS said. Casca

The people aboard the ship did not differ so much from the people on the planet’s surface. But what Casca did sense was that people were happy. Losing or winning, that was beside the point. The Casino was massive, containing any type of gambling machine, device, or table you'd want to play in the known galaxy. The flashing lights from all the machines alone could power a small star.
Crossing the floor, Casca tried to move naturally with the crowd. Well, as naturally as a malnourished, penniless vagabond with a hooded jacket could.
Thinking her actions were camouflaged, it was a surprise when a blue hand stopped Casca’s forward momentum. Understanding what it looked like, the Saiyan tried to act calm to avoid a hassle. “I am perfectly fine,” thinking and doing can be two entirely different things as she continued awkwardly. “And thank you for your concern. I will be going now to spend all of my hard earned money. Over there. Somewhere.”
Believing her response would satisfy all parties, Casca attempted to flee the scene.

Riddley cocked an eyebrow at the woman's acting. The woman looked like she hadn't eaten in days, and if her clothing was anything to go by, it seemed like she didn't have much money on her as well. "Sure you are," Riddley replied, clearly not buying her story. As she tried to move away, his grip on her shoulder tightened. "I think you'd better come with me Miss." Riddley had a knack for recognizing troublemakers, and this one, well, why else would someone poor come in here? couldn't be for shelter, since the ship was up in orbit. Gripping her shoulder tightly, Riddley began to pull the young woman along. The alien sensed this girl wasn't simply here to gamble, but her malnourished appearance made it hard to believe she was here for some nefarious purpose. Besides, Riddley was always a sucker for a pretty woman. He figured it would be best if he left Flip sort this one out. Learn what he needed to know and then decide what to do with her. Riddley carefully escorted the young woman towards one of the elevators to take her up to Flip's office. Casca

“Get your stinkin’ hands off of me,” hollered Casca. Kicking both feet in front of her, the Saiyan tried to repel the blue security chief from shoving her into the elevator. Running up the elevator’s still closed doors, Casca broke free of the man’s grasp as she cleared his defense. She jumped from the wall and back flipped over the alien.
“You need to relax, no one needs to get hurt here,” Casca said misleadingly, igniting a purple ball of Ki from her hand behind her back. Moving efficiently, the Saiyan kept eye contact as she reversed down a random hallway.
Hearing cries of hysteria from the opposite direction did nothing but reassure Casca that she messed up. Deciding to use her trump card, Casca blurted out, “I need to see the Dandyman!”

Unfortunately for Riddley, while he was chief of security, he wasn't the strongest of individuals. Casca was able to pull herself free from his grasp and take off running before the alien could stop her. The small ki ball Riddley spotted behind her back didn't help matters either. "All security! We have a situation on deck 9!" The security around the casino started to scramble, grabbing their weapons and starting to take off running. And naturally, her little show would catch the attention of someone much more important.
As she ran through the halls, a cane would shoot out from around the corner, the handle catching her arm and effectively stopping the young saiyan woman in her tracks. "And see him you shall," came a familiar southern drawl. With Casca effectively stopped, Flip moved before her, twirling his cane. "So, care to explain what you're doing on me ship?" he asked, before catching a glance at her face under the hood. A look of recognition flashed across his face. "Wait a second..."

Growing tired of the charade, Casca roared around and brandished her violet sphere of Ki to what she thought was another nuisance. Watching the face under the hat react so suddenly to her identity threw her intuition out the window.
“Flip,” Casca exclaimed, clumsily embracing an old friend and extinguishing her charged attack. Finally encountering someone she knew on this damned rock, Casca couldn’t help but feel some comfort in a friendly embrace. Letting the moment pass, the Saiyan posted the human to an arm’s distance away.
“Did you say this,” Casca enthusiastically pointed in every direction, “is all yours? Last I heard, you were doing just fine on Earth.” She placed an arm across her friend’s back. “Apparently a lot can change in four years. I guess anyone now can make it big time! I’m really happy for you, I am.”
The guards’ footsteps grew close as Casca pulled her hood showcasing her matted blue and dirty hair. “I was hoping you could help me out,” the Saiyan asked as the mass of security guards surrounded the woman.

Indeed, it was who Flip suspected it was. Casca! Flip had met the saiyan hybrid on Earth four years back, where the blue haired girl had helped him out with one of his plans. To imagine that she was here after all this time, and that she was hugging him! Flip flushed lightly before she pulled away, gesturing rather excitedly at the ship around them. She was going to make the guy blush with all the praise she was giving him. Flip smiled and chuckled. "Well, the saiyans and the arcosians turning up on Earth helped. A lot of old Fleet tech was salvaged to build this place. And I'm glad to say it's paying for itself."At that point, security caught up with them, the guards surrounding them, with Riddley panting from running so much. Flip raised a hand. "It's ok boys. I'll take it from here." The men, willing to trust their boss, lowered their weapons. Flip turned to Riddley. "Good to see you're not slacking in your duties." Riddley gave a small smile, rubbing the back of his head. "Thank you sir," he said, before heading back to the casino floor. With that all settled, Flip turned his attention to Casca. "Shall we head up to my office? Tell me, what are you doing up here? It's been so long."Casca

Casca stated, “I’m on the run obviously,” gesturing to the surrounding news feeds. “From what exactly, I’m not sure,” Casca lied. Her shortcomings became ever more apparent as she strode with her friend to the safety of his office. Embarrassed, the young Saiyan vowed to keep her lies to a minimum, a promise that may prove hard to keep.
“So do I have a plan for you,” Casca joyously announced, kicking the office’s doors open. “What would you say to the idea of visiting Namek? Heard there’s a new Guru and everything. Plus I also wanted to see the planet during this time of year,” she paused while examining the various photographs displayed throughout Flip’s office.
“This looks to be around the time we first met,” Casca said as she picked a picture from its frame. Tearing it in half and only keeping the side with Flip on it, Casca asked, “You mind if I keep this? Might need something to remember you by when I sail to Namek without ya!”
Crashing into one of the lounge chairs before Flip, she kicked her feet up on his desk and asked, “So, what do you think? Wanna go?”

Flip hadn't been paying too much attention to the news feeds, more focused on his own business, but he had figured Casca had gotten herself into a bit of trouble. After all, the girl had no problem with associating herself with people like him. No doubt her roguish lifestyle would catch up to her eventually. It would certainly explain the hood that she had been wearing when she came up here. At her proposition to coming to Namek, Flip rose an eyebrow. So the planet had a new ruler huh? Though something told him that that wasn't the only reason that Casca wanted to go. No, there was something on Namek she wanted. He watched quietly as she picked up a photo of the two of them, before taking half of it as a momento. Normally, Flip would be ticked with someone ripping his stuff like that, but instead he just laughed. "My dear Casca, if I didn't know better I'd say you had a thing for me." he joked, before sitting back on his desk. "Still, Namek wouldn't be a bad place to head next. After all, the Namekians here like me well enough. Sure, why not. Though I'm curious why you want to go. Something tells me you're not the type of person to go and smell the roses. Or cabbages in this case."Casca

Choosing to keep her sources anonymous, Casca answered with a speed that conveyed her excitement. “See, I heard in prison that some new opportunities may be presenting itself in the next several months on the Namekian homeworld.” Placing her hands behind her head, the Saiyan began to see the plan-taking place.
“Now hear me out,” Casca said while grinning at her friend. “Bada bing, bada boom, we slip through customs, me undetected in the cargo bay, and we dock at the closest spaceport we can find.” Holding the pause longer than anyone would expect, Casca continued, “Then we find ‘em!”
Jumping from her soft recliner, Casca paced in front of Flip’s desk as she riled herself into a frenzy. “There’s seven of ‘em, you see? Their called Dragon Balls! One, two, three, four, seven! We find these, we get more of these,” she lifted one arm and pointed to make it known she was talking about the ship. “Find the Dragon Balls and all of your dreams come true!” It sounded more and more redundant as Casca realized Flip may have already reached his dreams.

Honestly, Casca's excitement was almost adorable. The crime boss couldn't help but chuckle as Casca explained her plan to him. And then, when she mentioned them, Flip's attention was picked up. Dragon Balls. He had heard something about them. Something about making wishes, and Casca knew of them as well. Flip had never had the time to seek them out personally, but if more were going to pop up on Namek, well, Flip would be insane to not take the opportunity. While Flip was already quite successful, he was far from done yet, and some magical wishing orbs certainly would help his plans along. Once she was done, Flip smiled at her. "Well, that certainly sounds like a plan. Though, I think it may need a couple of corrections." Flip twirled his cane as he walked around the office. "From what I've gathered, Vegeta doesn't really have anything in the ways of customs. All we need to do is pack up and head out with the Big Gamble. I doubt the Saiyan government would care to check us before we left. And as for you." he leaned on his cane and smiled, "Well, rather than simply hide you away, why don't I hire you? Free room, board, and you get paid. I've seen what you can do. I think you'll make a fine fit to the organization. What do you say?"Casca

“ I’m game,” Casca shouted before extending her arm to shake in agreement with Flip. “ The thought of having my own ship like this would be nice,” she commented again about her friend’s luxurious lifestyle before she just couldn’t control it any more. Starting to gyrate from all their talk of dreams and excitement, Casca's body began to move on it’s own. As if possessed by someone who could actually dance, the Saiyan started to wave her hands in the air as her heels slid across the office floor. Popping and locking, Casca’s style seemed to be a style only she knew. But what it looked like was fun, and she hoped her friend would join her. The dancing proved to be fun, if not only for Casca's cool moves. Later, after hashing out some of the details and putting that sig on the dotted line, Casca again plopped into one of Flip’s armchairs. “ Seriously, you really need to get a dance hall installed, practice your moves before work,” she joked as her face turned more somber. “ The truth is we are going to run into some pretty fierce people along the way. And truly, neither one of us are strong enough. Matter of fact, we should probably start sparing right away. I'll teach you how to finally use your Ki, and you teach me how your boy, Riddley, made me,” she paused to reminisce on the fact she still believes she was incognito. “ Honestly, I think our odds of survival are fifty-fifty. So what’s the rush? The things happening on the Namekian home world take time, a new Guru was only announced a few weeks ago.” Casca stomped on the ground to help emphasize her next point. “ I bet this baby could get there in under a parsec. Wait, is a parsec a measure of space or time?”

Seriously, Casca's enthusiasm was just too infectious. As the young woman started to dance, Flip was soon dancing alongside her. The young crime boss couldn't help but laugh. He had found an old friend, AND had gained a new ally as well. Not to mention the pair were now on their way to getting their wishes granted. Really, how could this go wrong?
Once their little dance was over, and Casca had signed up to join the organization (really a formality at this point), that's when Casca got serious. This would be an undertaking of great risk, but what was risk without reward? And she was even offering to teach him how to use ki! Finally, he was finally going to be able to use the great technique that he had seen others using. And once he got the hang of it all, there was no stopping him! When she mentioned how Riddley spotted him, Flip shrugged. "To be honest, the way you were dressed, in the middle of a busy casino, Riddley's good at spotting things like that. Sorry, but you did kind of stand out. Not that that would be a problem anymore, since you now work for, pardon, WITH me." She was a dear friend after all, and he wanted to think they were partners in all this.
When she mentioned how fast the ship could get the Namek, Flip took a seat, giving her a warm smile. "What's the rush? Like you said, the Guru was only announced recently. I can get this baby heading off to Namek shortly. In the meantime, I say sit back, and enjoy travelling in style from now on." Flip paused and thought for a moment, "And on that subject, I should get a room all ready for you."
