This was it.
He'd heard about it being built a handful of times already. Excited murmurs in the crowds of Radditsu. Jaw-dropping battles would be held here, they said with fervor. The type of stuff the history books would be overrun by. He'd had half a mind to swing by and tear it all down; his first act of real defiance in the eyes of the woman who'd bested him. There was no better way to do it, right? Decimate her first decree to get a rise out of her.
But he held off. He didn't know why. It wasn't fear-- he'd lost reason to fear for his life thrice over. Was it respect? Admiration? Something simpler than all that, maybe. Were the crown still on his head, he might've commissioned a similar structure.
With a stern gaze he overlooked the Colosseum, and tossed his cloak away, revealing the amputation underneath. His left arm, which had been cleaved clean from the shoulder down, still hurt from time to time. The phantom pains would never fade fully, he imagined. Even still, he'd come to terms with that. It was punishment for his failure, he thought. One so grand it made up for the failings he hadn't been chastised for.
As the sun crested beneath the mountains, darkness fell. He was alone, standing on one of the highest walls of the arena. Vocado didn't know why he'd come here. Maybe he wanted to see Kayen one last time before he left. He'd be gone for a long time, and when he got back, she'd have to die. It seemed she wasn't here, however. Nobody was.
Hopefully it'd stay that way.

Darkness had come, this was the time when the demon was free to wonder the world without interruptions. He too had heard rumors that a Colosseum having been built, a place for battle and a place he could fully respect. Whether Kayen had built it or not was not something he concerned himself with, only that it had been built. The demon slowly made his way up the steps to the side of the Colosseum but took note of the power nearby. A source he recognized from his earlier encounters, but he said nothing as he continued up the steps. His saiyan disguise still in effect, though he knew little of why he wore it now. Perhaps he was still ashamed of himself, perhaps he was still hiding his true face because he was afraid someone would know his shame... Whatever the reason he would not think on it now.
Slowly the demon walked through the corridors, keeping his hands within his pockets as he neared the main Colosseum room, the main bulk of the building was this. In the sand pit that made up its floor, the demon walked into it full blown, out of cover before looking up to see Vocado. The two had spoken for a bit during their time in the desert, but that was then and this was now. He kept his hands in his pockets as his green iris eyes looked up to the man. He said nothing as he waited for the other to come down. He had the all familiar ring in his ears over the question Vocado had asked Sensoa. Did he have someone he wanted to kill, to which the demon had his answer now. He would slaughter Saizomaru, and put the robotic bastards head on his ship.
"Oi Vocado, get down here. Its Sensoa Ghoun."
He finally said, deciding to not play games this time around. The demon was tired of games, and now he simply wanted someone to keep him company. He was glad Vocado was here, a familiar soul who he could share his exile'd woes with. Perhaps that would ease the burden on the demon's mind...

Ochra's PL: 81,284 Ochra had heard about the new Colosseum that had been built. To be honest, he was surprised they hadn't done anything like this sooner. Even when the Saiyan Kingdom was peaceful, the Saiyans themselves were a people prone to fighting. Somewhere to fight and safely blow off steam seemed only natural. And yet it was under Kayen's rule that such a place was built. And there was a time when Ochra felt that he could have some fun in a place like this. A good place to train and build himself up. That was gone now though. With his missing leg, and this pitiful excuse of a prosthetic, he wasn't in any condition to fight. Hell, even if he could, his power was nothing compared to the powerhouses that most likely would fight in the Colosseum. Hell, he couldn't even become an Oozaru. But still, he figured he would come down here, just to take a look at the place and see what he had been missing out on. and yet, as he stepped out into the main arena, he felt two familiar power levels in the area. The first was Sensoa. Trust him to be somewhere where there was plenty of fighting. But the second. It was one he hadn't felt in a long time. Vocado. Why was he here?

Misery was best in company.
Vocado never found time to himself these days. Though he was hoping to find Kayen, it seemed other, more enjoyable sorts had come out to say hello. That Demon fellow from a few days ago had shown himself, now in disguise. It was a clever one, too. Magic of his sort seemed incredibly potent. There was someone else here too. Someone he hadn’t seen in a while.
Leaping from the arena, Vocado landed softly in the sand next to Sensoa, nodding in his direction before overlooking the rest of the arena. It was massive; surely a pair of armies could battle it out in this pit.
”Pleasant evening, isn’t it?” Vocado let a soft smile reach him.
His gaze fell on Ochra next. They hadn’t talked in months, if not more. Vocado was sure the mercenary was dead, and it seemed he wasn’t far from it. Missing a leg and a tail, Ochra was about as bad off as Vocado was himself. At least the once-king could go Super Saiyan, though. Surely Ochra hadn’t figured that out just yet.
”Look at us. A pair of cripples, eh? Funny how the best of us keep losing limbs. Someone in other world is cackling at us right now, I’m sure.”
Though it was far from the crowd he’d wanted, he was pleasantly surprised by the company. He’d always liked Ochra, and Sensoa seemed the right sort of person. Maybe his final day here wasn’t going to be so bad after all.
”So then, what brings the both of you here? Sulking, planning, seething... Or maybe you’re looking to sign up for the arena? Might be a little late in the night for that.”

THREAD POWERLEVEL: 40,000 Finally, it was complete, he was, of course, talking about the arena, he had witnessed it being built and constructed to hold future tournaments, fights of glory, the very symbol of the Saiyan people, and Auber quite naturally approved of it, not that it would have mattered.
So here he was, flying around the colosseum, taking in the sight of the gargantuan establishment of fights, and he was not disappointed, perhaps he could sign up when the opportunity comes, he's pretty sure most Saiyans that are stronger than him will sign up too, so he doesn't expect to get far.
What he DEFINITELY isn't expecting is to sense powerful energies around the corner, they could be the Goons, or something belonging to the Fleet, after all, it is not uncommon for them to breed strong warrior after strong warrior, so he approached them, what he found was unexpected also.
Sensoa, the demon who he sparred with a couple days ago, Ochra, the guy he drank with and the perpetrator for that Knutts situation and last but not least, Vocado, how long has it been since he saw him? Since Namek? He did talk with him back when Vegeta was undergoing repairs from the invasion.
He touched down on the rocky shores that make up the red planet and walk casually towards the trio, he stops at a reasonable and fair distance and heaves a sigh "Hey there." He greeted them, he wasn't going to start a specific topic with a specific person, that would come in due time.

Not only Vocado had showed up, but also Ochra. It was clear this the two had stuff in common, having missing limbs and the like. The demon was unsure if he would ever suffer the same fate but it was highly likely. Vocado then asking what brought them there when Auber showed up, the demon snorting at his approach. It wasn't that he didn't like Auber, in fact he respected the warrior for kicking him in the face and putting up such a fight... but he hadn't gotten any stronger. He was still pretty weak, another disappointment to write up on the board.
"I came out to relax, spending all day cooped up in the Bastion makes it frustrating. Guess you can say I snuck out."
Sensoa looked then to Vocado, curiousity in his eyes but he otherwise said nothing. There was an elephant he wanted to address, the exiled King was in a city he was exiled from. Sensoa didn't give two shits honestly, but if hell broke loose he didn't know who's side he would join.
"So Vocado, what brings you here?"
The demon asked the former king, curious as to why he was here. Exiled or not, the king had come here for some reason or another. Perhaps it was just for fun or to get a fight in. The demon was ready for that if he wanted, as he was always down to battle.

It seemed Ochra's arrival at the place hadn't gone unnoticed. He had heard about Vacado's defeat at the hands of Kayen, and it seems the rumours that he had lost his arm in the process was true as well. Ochra crossed his arms, a small, rueful smile on his face. "Yeah, it seems whatever gods are in this universe have a sick sense of humour. Did you know on Knutts Kayen actually allowed the Fleet's higher ups to walk away? The Fleet! The guys who conquered our world. The guys that killed countless people galaxy wide." Ochra shrugged, "Yeah, it's w twisted world we live in right now."
At Sensoa's reasoning for being here, that he 'snuck out', Ochra chuckled. "I don't think it qualifies as sneaking out if you own the place, right?" It was good to socialize again. It helped him forget the resentment and anger that had been building within him for the last week or so. And then, a fourth member of this little gathering arrived. Auber. Ochra hadn't expected to see him here, but he wouldn't object. Auber was a decent guy. He gave the intact saiyan a nod before turning his attention back to Vocado. "I thought I'd come check this place out. It'll be a while before I can actually fight in a place like this." He brought up his artificial leg, "Still waiting for the replacement leg. This one just wont do at all."

“I allowed them to leave because SOME moron from MY Kingdom decided to take it upon himself to disrupt a neutral ground to play at being bigger than he is. You’re lucky I showed up at all, if I hadn’t already been on route to somewhere else you would most likely have been eaten by Mumbo” The voice of the queen broke into the conversation as she stepping forward from one of the entrance tunnels leading from the inner portion of the Colosseum's spectator seating and into the inner portion of the Colosseum itself to join the strange group that had assembled. Kayen had been immensely pleased to see just how quickly the work on the Colosseum had gone, it appeared that under the watchful eye of the Crimson Apes the workers had been able to get things done without any real risk of danger from both outside forces AND the wildlife of the Saiba Wastes. It was ultimately for that reason that Kayen had put her departure on a slight delay once more if only because she wanted to make sure everything in the Colosseum was as she wanted it to be AND to work out some plans for it’s future. That today it was apparently playing host to a quartet half comprised of people she was fond of in the form of Auber and Sensoa, and as a direct parallel a pair of morons she was not overly fond of. At least when it came to Vocado though she could respect him as a warrior to some extent. Kayen flashed a grin at Sensoa and Auber noting that the Demon appeared to still be using his Earthling form and even more curiously Kayen had to restrain herself as she approached him finding a strange urge to transform into a Super Saiyan. It was easy enough to suppress the urge but it caused no small amount of confusion from the Queen, perhaps though it would be best to ask about that later.

Mollusc could sense the overwhelming power of Vocado. He had learned how to sense ki after the beating he suffered and reaching that next level. He had finally found the power to beat Kayen. It had taken him a long time but he would soon be ready to take down the queen. First, he should thank him even though he didn't like him. Without the fight with him, he'd never of reached that level. Still, he knew after he beat Kayen Vocado may have to be next. The former King may think himself able to beat Mollusc. In the past that was true but right now he would be able to beat him he thought. Mollusc had a good idea of the power of the form and in his mind its weakness.
In a Flash Mollusc arrived looking around at the scene. He could sense many powers with new abilities. From Vocado to another even stronger that he had no idea about. Mollusc shrugged, the man could just be using a lot of strength some people let their power run loose afterall. He saw two other saiyans that he felt he had met but their names illuded him right now. He'd nodded to Orcha and Auber before he saw his prize. Kayen was here! "I was here to thank you Vocado but seems that has changed." He'd gave a nod to him and walked over to Kayen. "I finally see you returned to Vegeta. I am glad you did. Last time we meet you easily blocked one of my attacks. That was during that invasion on Vegeta. That has changed. I am more than strong enough to throw you off the throne. I'll give you options however, rid yourself of the blood ruby or the throne. That is your options. Because if you do not do either in a few days. I intend to take your throne through any means. So, you game?" Mollusc looked up at Kayen. With so many people she had to give a response right?

It seemed like the Colosseum was a hot spot for hangouts now. Vocado should have figured he wasn't the only one looking to sulk about. Auber arrived shortly after the rest did, offering a friendly greeting. It was weird, all things considered, how nice it was to be surrounded by a handful of acquaintances. There was no baggage or weird grudges to be had. Just some awkward pleasantries.
"Hey there, Auber. Still fighting the good fight, I hope?"
Chuckling to himself as Ochra spoke, he wondered how he would have handled that situation. Murdering all of the Fleet's higher-ranking members would have been satisfying, sure, but would it have been fair? Knutts was neutral ground now, officially recognized by both sides as free space. Whoever decided to start that fight ought to be reprimanded.
Moments later, Kayen arrived, revealing just who it was that'd started that fight.
It was one of the few good things she'd done since the crown hit her head, which was noticeably absent from her head as of now. To be fair, however, he never put it on either. The idea of wearing a crown felt a bit too... Tacky.
"Ah, the Queen Bitch joins us. Enjoying the limelight? Don't get used to it."
He walked up to her slowly; his eyes a pair of determined daggers staring right through her soul. The tenseness of the room had shifted majorly, and it looked like it was only going to get harsher in the next few seconds. Was Vocado about to take a swing? Shoot a blast? Turn into a Super Saiyan?
No. Instead, he simply stuck his hand out to shake hers. "I never got the chance to say it so here it is: Good fight. You've got a killer sword arm, you know." He laughed and smiled, surprisingly genuinely. At the very least, he was willing to admit defeat-- even if he was a sore enough loser to leave his entire faction behind.
Then the tension raised again. Soaring in from on-high, Mollusc skid to a stop in the crowd, demanding Kayen relinquish her ruby or her crown. Vocado rolled his eyes. The Namekian had gained some serious juice in the last few days, but it'd still fall flat in the face of a Super Saiyan. Vocado had already found new ways to increase the form's power, which meant Kayen had done just the same.
"And I thought I was too serious..."
Stepping away from Kayen, Vocado rolled his eyes, placing his lone hand on his hip. "The day she gives up either of those is the day I piss shadows and Ramen reveals she's part-Dragon Ball. You'd have a better chance asking her to dress up for once in her life."
To say this was an awkward grouping would be an understatement. Maybe it was near time for Vocado to make his exit. His pod was almost ready anyways.
"Alright. I'm outta here." Vocado walked by Kayen with a bored sigh. "Here I was thinking I'd be the one to get to spout threatening yet sulking dialogue in Kayen's face but oh well. I'll save it for next time."
Just as he passed by Kayen to leave, he produced a envelope from his breastplate, and pushed it into her chest. "Here. My formal resignation. Does this count as exile, or retiring?" He shrugged. "I'll probably just keep saying exile."
As he exited into the tunnel, he turned back one last time, and shouted.
"Oh, and Auber! If you ever want to hang out I'll be on Namek in a few weeks! See you later kiddo!"
Attempted exit. An awkwardly short amount of time spent in my own open, but it made sense to me!

Auber had gotten similar reactions to his presence, whether it be a nod, a verbal greeting and a snort of laughter? He raised his eyebrow at the demon's reaction, if he was making fun of him, he didn't care how strong Sensoa was, he'd give him another kick to the chin.
The young Saiyan wasn't as curious as the others to find out what Vocado was up to, considering his situation and how emotionally stable he really is, prying is not a very good idea, even in the most simplest of forms, besides Auber feels lazy to socialize too much today.
He listened as Ochra put up all the blame on Kayen for letting the Fleet escape Knutts, he rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything, he'd rather not get into an argument with the bounty hunter about how the former space prison was neutral ground and that he was the fool for trying to take it over.
No, that honour would go to Kayen, who showed up not moments after he did, laying the verbal heat on Ochra that Auber couldn't bother to say, "Didn't expect to find you here, excited for the Colosseum?" He asked Kayen, most individuals in a monarchy would find it pretty odd how casually and informal Auber spoke with the Queen of the Saiyans, but he had two reasons, the first was that he already was acquainted with Kayen before she became Queen, and the second was that Kayen herself stated she isn't one for the royalty treatment.
If he thought Kayen showing up in this particular spot was unexpected then he was surprised when he sensed and saw the form of Mollusc flying in, wasn't he on Arcose? Perhaps what Ramen did say was true, he had become a naïve child, and he challenged Kayen to either get rid of the blood ruby or he'd take the throne, and if she didn't do either, the latter option would be chosen "Seriously?" Auber stated towards the Namekian with pity, "Are you really this naïve?" He asked with genuine surprise, what did the Blood Ruby have to do with anything? And why was he challenging her when he's clearly weaker? Where is this bravado coming from?
As he was shaking his head in pure disappointment, he turned it towards the former king's direction as he specifically informed Auber he would be on Namek in a few weeks, huh, why him? He could ask him if he ever went to Namek "I'll think about it." He replied towards Vocado before he flew off.

Sensoa simply sat around with his hands shoved in his pockets as all of this people seemed to have their own bones to pick with one another. Ochra blaming Kayen, Kayen showing up to defend her actions which frankly the demon agreed with. If Kayen hadn't been there they might have all died, but at least it was one hell of a good time. Then the green man showed up and the demon snorted at his challenge. Now to challenge the queen for fun was one thing but he seriously through he could beat Kayen like he was now? The demon couldn't help but laugh at how ignorant the green bean was. Now he didn't know if the namekian had some sort of awesome transformation or not, but if it wasn't something out of this world he was in for a rude awakening.
"Ahh I always love when ignorance shows its face on the field."
But that was for another time as Vocado finally spoke up, and Sensoa was almost sure they were about to fight. Yet it turned into a friendly bit of banter before the former king... the supposed exile suddenly spoke up. The demon's eyes went wide as he felt a pang of ice cold anger rush through his heart. Was this all the universe was, a bunch of lying and conniving people? Vocado had said he was exiled, but here he was asking of he was exiled NOW?! He said nothing as the king walked away, but the ground at Sensoa's feet had frost around it. He wanted to hurt someone right about now, and he was tempted to just tear the Namekian to pieces. Even now that all familiar blood lust was emitting from Sensoa in that aura he couldn't help but emit. It went from feeling warm to suddenly growing cold.
Sensoa however remained silently, his face going stone cold as he simply stared forward. He wondered if Kayen would fight Mollusc or if this would turn into Kayen denying the challenge. If she ordered Sensoa to kill the namekian, he would not hesitate in striking but he doubted she needed him or even wanted him to. But then again, crazier things had happened. The demon let out a long drawn out sigh which had breath like he was standing in snow, the air growing more cold by the second.
"Should I kill him Kayen? I doubt very much he would be very good fun to fight."
Sensoa asked this with an even tone, but otherwise did nothing.

Post by Ochra on May 4, 2019 9:44:56 GMT -6
Speak of the devil, and the devil shall appear. Seems the phrase held some merit as Kayen appeared on the scene, returning the heat Ochra had dished out. A small bit of anger flared up inside of him, but he quickly suppressed it. As much as he hated to admit it, she was right.
And that was when the idea occurred to him.
"You know what," Ochra replied calmly, "You're right. I overstepped my bounds, and you saved me, even if you didn't have to. Thank you for that." And now for the fun part. "In fact, thinking back on it, it's almost impressive. I would have thought you would have jumped at the chance to wipe out your enemies, gain some territory to rule over, and let someone who annoyed you die. Instead, you honoured the agreement, showed mercy, and even went out of your way to help me. It was quite mature of you, well done." he finished up with a small clap, his voice holding no sarcasm or mockery. Truth be told, he would have been proud of any ruler who showed that much maturity.
But with Kayen, it was a reminder of lost opportunities. In reality, Kayen COULD have wiped out the Fleet presence, taken over Knutts for herself, and left Ochra to die. And nobody would have been surprised or shock because such actions were almost EXPECTED of her. She ruled Raiti, and stole the Vegeta throne from Vocado, what was one more? And nobody would have complained had she at least killed one of the Fleet.
But now, for the icing on the cake. "That does bring up a good point though. You said you were nearby," he gestured to Sensoa, "He followed because he wanted a good fight. But isn't it curious that so many of the Fleet, including the Stargoons and their own Warmaster, just happened to be in the general area all at the same time? Curious." Food for thought bitch.
And then came Mollusc. Ochra had no interaction with the Namekian in the past, but hearing him challenge Kayen, threatening her to either give up the throne or the blood ruby. Ochra couldn't help but shake his head. He would have said something, but Vocado and the others already beat him to it. He just decided to sit back and watched as Vocado congratulated Kayen on her victory, before leaving to depart for Namek. Namek? Ochra rose an eyebrow. There was only one reason Ochra could think of for Vocado to want to go to Namek, and it wasn't for retirement.
As Sensoa asked Kayen if he should end Mollusc, Ochra couldn't resist speaking up. "I wouldn't trouble yourself," Ochra replied, "Besides, I doubt it would look good for Kayen if she did."

| Kayen PL: 120,000 |
Kayen’s lips curled into an amused grin as Voccado approached declaring her the ‘Queen Bitch’ while certainly he had intended it as an insult it was more amusing to Kayen because it was often what she called HERSELF when she had just ruled over Raiti though more often with the addition of ‘of the Universe’ it for a moment almost seemed as if Vocado might be planning to give a go at deposing her here and now, she wondered if he had even gotten around to sorting out how to adjust to fighting without one of his arms, he was certainly far stronger than when she had last seen him but power was nothing if you lacked the means to use if effectively. But instead of a challenge or attack instead he offered a hand and even offered up an admission that their fight had been good and even joked about his defeat, part of Kayen was tempted not to trust it, to expect that this was just a means for Vocado to get in a sneak attack, something he might very well NEED to defeat her without his other arm. But.. Ramen HAD said she’d work on getting Vocado to work with them, and perhaps he WAS being genuine, he certainly sounded it and truth be told Kayen had a feeling Vocado was too direct to pull a stunt like what she expected. And so after a moment of debate Kayen grasped the offered hand and shook it “It was, and I do hope that it wont be the last. Perhaps even the next time it might not necessitate us going for the kill… even if it DID bring the best out of us” Kayen said with a grin, she was like Vocado quite genuine, her fights with Vocado had in both instances made her a FAR stronger warrior, were it not for their general animosity they might have made excellent sparring partners. Or perhaps not, perhaps they NEEDED to be at each others throats to really get the best out of each other. As they shook hands a familiar energy signature arrived and earned a long groan of annoyance from the Queen. Mollusc. Apparently drawn here by Vocado’s signature he lost all interest in the once-King when he spotted her, Kayen made a show of acting like she was barely paying any attention to the Namekian as he made his frankly laughable ultimatum. Even Vocado knew it was foolish saying as much before thrusting an envelop at her and declaring it his resignation, Kayen raised an eyebrow at that “call it what you want, when you’re done sulking and brooding and want another real fight make your way back here.” Kayen said paying more mind to Vocado than Mollusc for the moment. Auber and Sensoa were rather amusing in their reactions, complete surprise and confusion out of Auber and fierce anger out of Sensoa who even went so far as to ask if she wanted HIM to handle the Namekian. Ochra took the time to surprisingly admit she was right all the while Kayen expected him to turn it around into something sarcastic or snipey but none of it came. Apparently Mollusc was the only thorn in her side that seemed to want to remain such “If they’d been planning to take it over and actually made the attempt I’d have slaughtered them there and then probably. Maybe let the Arcosian go, let him run back to Chill and report just how fucked they were” Kayen offered with a shrug, she decided NOT to comment on the fact that had that been the plan Ochra jumping the gun to claim it had the additional effect of accidentally saving them all. Finally though she turned to face Mollusc “I doubt you’re strong enough to get past Sensoa let alone get anywhere close to beating me. You’re just TRYING to sound intimidating but that doesn't actually work when you’re too much of a coward to actually back it up, if you REALLY wanted to be the big man you wouldn't be telling me you’ll challenge me in ‘a few days’ ” Kayen said her voice becoming a mocking parody of Mollusc “You’d do it right now” Kayen said stepping forward to close any space between her and Mollusc.

He heard the small talk of the others. They must of all thought he had no chance. He'd didn't give Sensoa an eye nor Auber. Both of them were not important to him. They were just followers. He'd only had one target and that was Kayen. The rest didn't matter to him. He just stared at Kayen as she spoke he was standing as still as a rock. His Ki didn't even raise it stayed perfectly clung to his body. Then she finally spoke to him. Mollusc listened to her words and didn't move an inch when she stepped forward. She got pretty close. They were almost no space between them. Mollusc made sure to close that gap so they'd be nose to nose. He'd not back down an inch next to the queen. He stared at her his face stern and unmoving. He could feel the power coming from her. If this had been two weeks ago prehaps he'd of retreated. He'd of realized his folly but now he knew, he was her equal if not superior. Finally, after the seconds of pure silence, he spoke. "Let's do it then."
While not a De yet, If Kayen does not back down yah prob becoming one. Just note for anyone in here or who may want to join in advance
