It was amazing how being late to school could change her entire afternoon plans. While she was in such a panicked state, Kari hadn't realized that she forgot to grab her lunch money from the table. Unfortunately, she had learned it the hard way and had to spend the rest of the afternoon in hunger. When the last of her torturous class had finally ended, she wasted no time in rushing home to grab something to eat. To her dismay, she found the fridge mostly empty save for some food she disliked to eat. Fortunately, the lunch money she still had was upon the table and was enough to buy something might like. What was she feeling up to at this point though? She had asked herself. A jumble of restaurants was swirling through her head until Kari found herself standing in front of a Baobucks. Perfect! It wouldn't be the most nutritious lunch, however, currently, she was willing to take almost anything.
Being the afternoon, Kari wasn't too surprised to find the cafe to be crowded as students chatted with their friends and the baristas barked out orders. However, it would most likely be awhile before it would come to her turn and she had already determined what she wanted to order. Preparing for the long run, Kari entertained herself by counting the money she had. However, as she was in the midsts of counting, another customer accidentally bumped into her, possibly in a hurry to leave the establishment. In the process, a few coins slipped out of her hand. "Oh no!" She yelled as she began to retrieve her cash. In the midst of doing so she had realized that if she were to retrieve the coins, she would have left the line forcing her to walk all the way back to the growing line. If she weren't to go to retrieve the coins, she wouldn't have enough money. Stuck between a rock in a hard place, Kari sighed as she walked to pick up the dropped change as the person that was standing behind her eagerly rushed to take her space. That was what she expected of course. Shaking her head, she walked back to the end of the line. The chameleon made a silent note on the back of her head to never forget her lunch money again as she felt her empty stomach complain once again.

Dreizehn had managed to reach one of Earth's main cities, and decided that it was time to test if he actually needed to eat. Judging from the grumbling of his stomach, it was possible that his mother's genetics were more dominant in this case than his fathers were. When he heard someone crying out, he immediately rushed over, already preparing ki in the palm of his hand before arriving at the cafe and seeing the situation. A pink lizard like entity was picking up coins from the floor next to a line of people that seemed to hurriedly fill the gap that the silver haired humanoid guessed they'd filled earlier...
He looked over the room, before sighing and dispersing the ki he had been forming in his palm, analysing the situation. The pink one had dropped their money, left the queue to collect it, and was now having to move to the end of the large line in order to resume waiting for nourishment. That did not seem right to him. "You gonna move it pal or what?" came a voice from behind him, causing him to look over his shoulder. He raised an eyebrow at the fact that someone was waiting behind him to get inside, rather than just simply walking around. There was plenty of space after all to do so. "I said, you gonna move it pal?" the agitated male inquired again before trying to deliberately shove past him, to which Dreizehn responded with a swift punch to their gut, forcing them to their knees as they were winded.
"Perhaps you should learn to value the use of words and the meaning of patience." Dreizehn said as he squatted down beside the crumpled human. He observed that a brown envelope of leather was sticking out from their trouser pocket, and as he assisted them to their feet, he took the opportunity to collect two of the green sheets from it before they noticed the imbalance. "Now, if you'll excuse me." he said before taking his place in the queue directly behind the pink lizard humanoid. He glanced over the large menu hanging over the staffs heads, raising an eyebrow at the various words and images... particularly since some of their combinations made no sense whatsoever. Perhaps the pink one would be able to offer some form of advice...
Dreizehn went to try and tap them gently and politely on the shoulder. "Sorry to bother you, but I don't suppose you could recommend something? I've never been to one of these before, and honestly... the names on the menu just look baffling to me. Their translations make absolutely no sense." he asked and explained in equal measure, hoping that at least one of them knew what they were doing.

LATE AFTERNOON LUNCH
There didn't really seem to be any Saiyans around here. Nashua noted that the so-called "Satan City" was not quite a breeding ground for her own people, and that those who'd managed to survive the expedition over to Earth hadn't seemed to come around this way either. With a defeated sigh, Nashua felt her stomach begin to grumble unsatisfyingly. Now that she thought about it, it had been quite some time since she'd properly eaten something. Had she even eaten since she'd landed on Earth? Her memory was honestly a bit fuzzy after the whirlwind of event's she'd been through in the past several days, and the golden-eyed Saiyan could not recall in her memory any time she sat herself down and had some grub. That probably was not a good thing, she thought, and the Saiyan somewhat reluctantly stopped searching for other survivors, and instead began searching for a place to eat.
She wandered around a bit, and poked through a few different spots, but none of them seemed very good to her. A seafood place looked promising, but the moment she entered, she was overtaken by a horrible, rancid odor, and was forced to retreat with her fingers pinched around her nostrils. How did people possibly handle that dreadful smell? With her appetite somewhat soured, Nashua kept walking through the streets of the city, until she saw something that didn't quite sit right with her. A small scuffle between some plain looking human and another guy with flashy white hair, wherein the white-haired one suckerpunched the other right in the gut before pickpocketing them and sending them on their way. With a furrowed brow, Nashua stomped over to the shop they'd entered, and forcefully tapped the white-haired man on his shoulder.
"Hey!" she shouted at him, with a rather unusually aggressive tone as she did that signature finger point that angry people do when they're scolding someone. "Don't think I didn't just see what you pulled there on that guy! Do you think just cause you're big and strong you can punch whoever you want and steal their money? Honestly, the nerve of you!" She held out an open palm, before continuing, "Now, hand over that money you just stole from the guy and we can both be on our way and pretend nothing happened, okay?" Whether he responded to her or not, Nashua looked past his shoulder at the pink monster thing that he seemed to have been talking to before she interrupted.
"This guy bothering you?" she asked the pink lady before returning her glaring, golden gaze to meet the white-haired man's bright yellow orbs.

Getting to her feet after picking up the last of the money she had dropped, a sudden commotion drew her attention back to the line. Her eyes widen as she witnesses a man punch another man, for some unknown reason as far as Kari was able to tell. The victim dropped to his knees by the punch, causing her eyes to widen. How strong was this man? Sensing the energy around her, she noticed a large energy emitting itself from the man and an enormous one coming from a person in the crowd. She knew that some people with large power levels could be kind and friendly like her encounter with Sasha, however considering this man had attacked another for no reason she immediately found herself on high alert. Immediately she had shuffled to the back of the line in order to avoid contact and potential conflict. To her dismay, the man appeared to move right behind her as well. Crap. She thought. Now she was beginning to consider leaving the cafe for another place.
He had asked her what she should order, and in response, she hesitated for a second before giving him a quick response. "Oh um." She began eyes scanning the menu. "I recommend their Caramel Coffee. Great for when you're tired and taste great as well." Shortly after she had finished speaking a woman came to confront the both of them. Kari couldn't help but notice that the enormous energy signal she felt from the crowd came from this woman and she did not seem happy as she talked to the man. "Oh uh not really? But thank you for the concern." However, judging from the conversation she had just witnessed the two have, she knew that being stuck in the middle of this situation is not a good idea. Instead, she would begin to walk away to the entrance and try to leave. "Although I think I might go somewhere else for a meal." She muttered as she let the two of them go their way. While Kari did want to continue watching the two of them argue due to the fact she found the entire incident to be a bit entertaining, she knew that if she stayed trouble might brew up and she would be caught in the middle of it. Something that she did not want. Maybe she'll try the local McBaos for a meal instead.
OOC Note: Hey sorry for doing this especially as I am the creator of this thread myself but I left this thread as I'm currently over the thread limit of 5 and I just want to bring it back down. Hopefully that doesn't cause any issues with you all. I'll leave it up to the two of you if you want another person to take my place possibly or otherwise.

"Caramel Coffee... I'll give that a try. Thank you." said the silver-haired humanoid before looking at the Saiyan who was currently confronting him in regards to his earlier actions. He listened to her words before holding up a hand in a peaceful gesture. "Allow me to explain. I was observing the menu board, trying to discern what to order when he deliberately shoved into me in an attempt to cut in front of the queue, despite there being plenty of room to walk past without incident." Dreizehn began to explain. "So I decided that a lesson had to be taught, hence my punching him in the gut, and collection of a fee for the lesson." he said, holding up the two small notes.
"Not everyone in life will just allow you to knock them around without incident, but it seems that not everyone is aware of this fact." he said with a shrug, observing that the pink lizard woman was deciding to depart the building instead of continuing to grab their order. "Hope the rest of the day fares better for you." said Dreizehn before returning his focus to the Saiyan girl in front of him. With a shrug he offered her the notes. "The fee itself wasn't a requirement, but more along the lines of an added incentive for them to remember this moment. One would think that a member of a warrior race such as yourself would appreciate the concept?" the silver-haired humanoid inquired.

LATE AFTERNOON LUNCH
"Are you brain dead?" Nashua replied practically on reflex after the man explained his reasoning for mugging the other human. She hadn't actually intended to say that aloud, but she'd perhaps just thought it so intensely that the words simply could not stop themselves from exiting her mouth. "Er, sorry," she quickly added, "I don't mean to be rude. But come on, do you really think the world works like that? Are you twelve, or just dumb?" Whoops. She couldn't seem to prevent herself from insulting this man, as much as she normally tried her best to be polite with everyone. As the pink woman took her leave Nashua nodded at her politely and apologized for the disturbance, before returning her attention to the white-haired man and refusing the money that he offered to give her. She had a better idea now.
"If you think that you can just punch someone in the gut and steal money from them every time they're rude to you, then you seriously need to rethink the way you look at things." Looking past his shoulder, Nashua shouted at the barista at the front of the line, "Excuse me! This white-haired guy here is going to try and pay for his food with stolen money! Do not accept any of his orders, please and thank you!" Once she'd finished, Nashua looked back over at the man and placed her hands on her hips with gusto. "And I'm gonna follow you around and do that literally all week until you decide to give that money back to the man you took it from."
She turned around and held the door open for a customer that was coming in, who promptly thanked her as he stepped inside, though he wasn't really who she'd been holding it open for. The Saiyan looked back at the thieving man and scolded at him, "So, we better go and find him and give him his money back, don't you think? You might end up starving to death otherwise." The golden-eyed Saiyan could'nt help but grow a quite smug look on her face as she added, "Oh, and you're going to hand it to him and personally apologize yourself. And it's gonna be a good apology too, not some lazy and insincere one, you got it?"

"My synapses appear to be working perfectly fine." Dreizehn remarked, smirking slightly at the floundering Saiyan. "Well... define being born?" he said as he postulated the question over his age. "Technically I suppose I'm one hundred and ninety eight years old, but on the other hand I only just left my maturation stasis pod about... maybe a few days ago give or take... so you could say that I was born yesterday." the silver-haired humanoid hypothesised as he rubbed the back of his head. "As for my lack of social graces, it is a work in progress I will admit." he said as he began to leave the building through the held door.
"I suppose however you must be supremely bored if you're willing to follow me around for an entire week, over something as trivial as..." said Dreizehn as he checked the actual amount he had, "two whole zeni." he said with a chuckle. He held up the notes for her to check herself when something caught his eye. He peered at the note for a moment, angling it for the light to better catch it before sighing and shaking his head. "Well, it appears we have both been made fools of in this case Miss Saiyan." said the silver-haired humanoid as he offered the notes for her to inspect herself. "I'm not completely certain, but I think these are fakes due to the way that the see-through effect of regular monetary papers seems to be lacking in these ones. Do you still want me to locate and apologise to the man?" he inquired.

LATE AFTERNOON LUNCH
"They're what?" Nashua raised an eyebrow and snatched the Zeni out of the white-haired man's hands to get a good look at them herself. She'd never really dealt with money before, though, so any fake bill would just about look the same to her as a real bill. Were actual Zeni normally see-through? The brown-haired woman held them up to the light, and they were indeed opaque, but how was she to know that that meant they were fakes? Nashua was also a bit curious how, if the man before her wasn't just completely lying out his rear end, that if he'd been out of civilization for almost several hundred years and had only just "woken up" around several days earlier, then how in the heck would he be able to spot and detect counterfeit bills?
"Yeah, we'll see about that," Nashua slowly replied after her own examination of them had finished up. "I'm not quite buying that just yet, so we're still gonna go and see what that man has to say for himself, alright?" She reluctantly handed the man his stolen money back as she spoke, then turned her attention back over to the bustling street. Even if the money had been faked, the guy had still stolen it from somebody else after socking them in the stomach with a quite forceful looking blow. That didn't sit right with Nashua, and if needed of her, she'd just have to go out and bust two criminals today. The streets would surely be safer off without both money scammers and those who choose to assault and mug after a slight transgression.
The only real issue now would be finding whoever it was that the yellow-eyed man had punched. The street had been busy and bustling the whole time Nashua had gone inside the small cafe, and everyone who'd been around for the incident, including the victim himself, had moved on elsewhere. "Crap," Nashua muttered to herself as she folded her arms over her chest. She tried her best to remember if she had seen which direction or even what the person looked like, but the incident was mostly a blur in the back of her mind now, and all she could remember was what had happened. She glanced back over at the mugger man and reluctantly asked him, "You uh, wouldn't happen to have seen which way he was going, did you? Or, uh, what he was wearing? I can't, um, find him."

He found it oddly amusing the fact that the Saiyan just accepted his age as if it were the most normal thing one could imagine. Then again, Saiyans also had a generally long life-span, compared to most other species that is. He followed her gaze in her search for the one he'd punched earlier, shaking his head at her inquiry. "Sadly an eidetic memory is not one of my abilities." he said apologetically, shrugging his shoulders as he began to walk away down the street with his hands in his pockets. Assuming the Saiyan girl was still following him, he continued to speak. "My name is Dreizehn by the way. Since you declared an intent to follow me all week, I thought we should at least know one another's names." he said with yet another shrug. His stomach growled at him again, causing him to roll his eyes and sigh. "This is very perplexing and quite frankly annoying..." he grumbled. "I don't feel hungry, and yet my stomach keeps making the noise for that notion. Has this ever happened to you before I wonder Miss Saiyan?" the silver-haired humanoid asked of his travelling companion, assuming of course that she was even still there. For all he knew, he could be talking to thin air. ( Nashua )

LATE AFTERNOON LUNCH
"Dang it," Nashua frustratedly muttered to herself as the thief confirmed that he hadn't seen wherever the person he'd suckerpunched ran off to. So this whole thing was a lost cause from the start, it seemed. With a sigh, the pacifistic Saiyan took one last look around the street to see if anyone possible looked like they were the person from the incident, but her efforts were still to no avail. Nobody seemed to even acknowledge anything had ever taken place there, and everybody who walked by went on their way unflinchingly with not so much as a glance in her direction. How had she been so careless as to let the guy get away? If this had been some more important mission and she'd let a member of the World Trade Fleet or something get away like that, it'd have been big trouble.
The white-haired man continued to walk, and Nashua supposed she may as well venture a bit further alongside him to keep him from doing whatever evil deeds he may feel the urge to do. She couldn't, as she'd previously threatened, actually tag along with him and pester him for as long as possible, as she had other matters of much more importance than preventing petty crimes that she needed to attend to. Nashua could at least walk with him for a short while, though. Maybe he'd try and do something malicious within the next fifteen minutes that she could jump in and prevent from happening? "Alright, Dreizehn," Nashua said, echoing the slightly odd sounding name he'd given her, "My name is Nashua. I suppose I can walk with you for, uh, a bit." She awkwardly glanced up at the taller man and raised an eyebrow at his question.
"Although there's, um, super secret Saiyan stuff I just remembered I have to do, so I can't be your guardian angel for as long as I said I would. I'll just have to trust you're being a good person." She crossed her arms and puffed out her chest to seem as tough as possible, though she wasn't exactly the bulkiest or most intimidating looking of Saiyans. Nashua did her best, though. "And, if you're feeling that way, you're probably just hungrier than you think you are. You can go ahead and use those fake Zeni to buy some grub, if you're feeling desperate enough. Your lunch certainly won't be coming out of my own pocket."

The Bio-Android chuckled as Nashua got flustered with their conversation. "I'm not sure I even technically count as a person..." he mused, pulling his hands out from his pockets and resting them against the back of his head as they walked. "I mean, I was technically born in a lab... I'm not even sure if I even need to eat." Dreizehn partially explained to his unfortunate Saiyan companion. "My father never had to, since he was a bio-weapon and his creators deemed it unnecessary for a weapon to need to eat or drink so they removed those requirements from his design... but my mother definitely had to drink and eat so..." he said, raising the conundrum he was faced with. He sighed and pocketed his hands again, shrugging his shoulders. "My apologies Miss Nashua. My genetic issues shouldn't have made it into the conversation." the silver-haired humanoid said with a bow of his head towards her. "Although I suppose that would be my mothers efforts to make it so that I was a better conversationalist than my father was... or at least that's what she said. I think." Dreizehn mused before sighing once more. "Again, my apologies. I think my mother's flash-imprint lessons were perhaps... a little heavy-handed in some areas." he theorised, chuckling somberly. | LATE AFTERNOON LUNCH |
Nashua wasn't really even sure what Dreizehn was talking about at this point. She hadn't quite been expecting the man to suddenly delve into his entire backstory just because she suggested the grumbling in his stomach was probably because he was hungry. Although, pretty much everyone Nashua had met up to this point had their own strange or unique origins one way or another. People were weird. "Er, right," Nashua slowly replied after the white haired man brought up something about "flash imprint lessons". Now what in the heck were those? "Well, uh, that all sounds very interesing," the Saiyan lied, glancing over at Dreizehn with a furrowed brow. She couldn't be sure if the man was telling the truth or just a bit deranged, though she was going to give him the benefit of the doubt. For now, at least.
"I'm not entirely sure how bio-androids work," she said, assuming that that was what the yellow eyed man was. "But I imagine you guys still have to at least eat some food. So, you should get something to eat even if you're not really feeling those hunger pains yet." Nashua glanced around the street to see if she could spot any appropriate eatery that would be cheap enough for someone so poor they had to resort to mugging in order to pay for food. McBao's? Well, if he was feeling desperate enough, that might work. But there was almost certainly something better in the area. Baorger King? That was a step up, if only slightly. The next restaurant over caught Nashua's attention as something a bit tastier though.
The Saiyan pointed over at a building across the street with a rather decorative sign. "If you want to eat now, then I'd recommend that one there." The building in question was none other than the famous Bao's, a place everyone had eaten at least one point in their life. It was an intergalactic chain, after all. "You can go ahead and use your counterfeits, if you think you'll be lucky enough to not get caught. For now, though, I have things I need to take care of." The golden eyed woman took a few steps in the direction they had just come from before she glanced back over her shoulder. "If I see you around again," she said with a suspcious look on her face. "Then you better not be up to anything scummy, alright?" She gave him one last long look before she took off.
There were still more Saiyans to gather.

The Bio-Android followed where Nashua was pointing, shrugging slightly. "It's as good a spot as any I suppose. Thank you." he said even as she began to depart, chuckling as she gave him one last threat towards him. "I shall try not to." said Dreizehn before shrugging as she took off. He looked over towards this Bao's place and decided to head on inside. Time to figure out what exactly eating food was like. At least he hoped the growling was a hunger for food and not... something else.
