So here she was... No longer on Earth. Kitiana had left without so much as a goodbye to the very few people she actually cared about. She wasn't happy about it but she wasn't sad either. She stared out of the pod as she raced through the atmosphere and down towards the city proper, wondering if she'd even find anything here worthwhile. Her eyes scanning the horizon in search for something she didn't even know she was searching for. What did she even hope to find here? Her Mother wasn't a Saiyan, that she knew of, so maybe her Father would be here? She didn't honestly know. As the pod touched down she slowly exited it and looked around, Her outfit was certainly unique amongst everyone else.
Kitiana began walking however and keeping her eyes open as she did. Everything here was just so different from earth, from the way the buildings looked to the clothing that everyone here wore. Where would she even begin searching for her Father assuming he was even still alive? She didn't have any information at all on what he might've looked like, or what his name would be. She could use her name sure, even use her last name, but did Saiyans even use last names like Earth did? Would anyone even recognize it if she did? She was already an obviously not-from-here Saiyan just based on what she wore, so would it even be a good idea to start asking questions that would draw even more attention to her? Then again maybe it'd be a good idea to draw attention to herself.
Then again maybe drawing attention to oneself wasn't a good idea when they didn't know the planet, or how the natives might react to said attention. For all she knew it could end up causing them to start attacking her if she went around asking random Saiyans about her Father. Perhaps the best thing to do was to try and find more ideal clothing for the planet... Make herself look like a proper Saiyan before trying to ask questions. But then where would a clothing shop be? And how would she even know it was a clothing shop? sigh... the problems of an offworlder.

"Is that an 'H' or an... 'E'...?" Nashua mumbled to herself as she squinted down at the grocery list tightly gripped in her hands. If there was one thing she was not a huge fan of, it was having to decipher the hieroglyphics that her mother's grocery lists tended to be. Her parents had 'decided' that she was now 'responsible' enough to go out and do the grocery shopping all by herself, which apparently she hadn't been before they died, when she was 18. She supposed she had grown a lot in the last year or so, both in strength and character. But that didn't make reading the scribbles of black ink on the list in front of her any easier. Ah, well. The home cooked meals and the delightful conversations had while eating them did make the struggle worth it, even if it was perhaps a slightly avoidable struggle to begin with.
As Nashua made her way down the streets of the capital city, she kept an eye out for anything... Unusual, she supposed. Not that she was particularly wary of anything, but if anything was amiss that she could help prevent, she was well within her power to do so, both in terms of physical strength and military ranking. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary, though, which was a general relief. Life on Vegeta was finally returning to the norm it had been over a year prior, before the Fleet came knocking. It brought a smile to the Saiyan's face to know that all her hard work, and all her allies' fellow efforts, had allowed such a peace to wash over the planet. For Nashua, her massive strength was best left an unnecessary safety net instead of a necessary weapon.
One thing did finally catch her eye, though. Nothing troublesome, obviously, just a Saiyan woman in some decidedly not Saiyan Kingdom clothes who looked a bit... Lost. Probably a tourist or something. Nashua knew her way well around enough to give directions, she thought as she approached the woman with a smile. "Hi, pardon me," she said as she stopped in front of the orange garbed Saiyan. "But I couldn't help but notice you look a bit lost. And judging from your clothes, I take it you're not from around here, either. Do you need directions for somewhere?"

She had wandered for some time looking for anything that resembled a clothing shop and for all she knew she could've walked passed a dozen of them. Everything looked the same to her, well... not EXACTLY the same but she didn't understand anything about this world. She had noticed a significant increase in gravity but her own training had acclimated her to sharp increases in gravity and the increase here was insignificant by comparison. Alas she was too nervous to really bother asking anyone about where things might've been for fear of saying something that might insult them or insinuate something she didn't mean too. No instead Kitiana dwelled in her own fear and kept to herself, that is until someone seemed to almost B-line it straight for her and stop in front of her. She seemed friendly enough, at least with the way she approached and spoke. Noting how she was very clearly not only lost, but not from Vegeta… Not that it would be that hard to tell truth be told. "Oh uhm… Y-Yeah, If you could direct me to a clothes shop maybe? Oh and uh... Do you happen to have a like... somewhere you keep a lot of history? I'm uhm… Looking for my Father you see and I don't really know anything about him or my family line. I know he's a Saiyan but uh, that's it." She was hoping she wouldn't seem intrusive or anything since she didn't really know what was available to the public, or if this particular woman would even know where such a thing might be if it even existed. "Apologies if such information isn't available or restricted or something, I don't really have much to go on." It was probably pretty clear from Kitiana's face that she was already extremely nervous when put in the face of another Saiyan. Her tail flicking behind her nervously and staying rather close to her body.

It seemed like Nashua had been right on the money about this girl being lost, as she quite meekishly replied that she was looking for a clothes shop and a place to look at some historical stuff. Looking up something about a long lost father, or something. Well, Nashua at least knew how to help out with one of those. "Hmm, well, there's a few clothes shops pretty nearby," she began with, tapping her scouter a few times as she pulled up the GPS system on it. "Nearest clothes store," Nashua commanded of the system, and after a few moments, various addresses lined the screen in front of her eye. "Let's see... If you're just looking for casual stuff, there's an everyday apparel store about a block that way," Nashua explained, pointing just down the street she had come up on. "Though if you want something nicer..."
Which of these stores sold nice clothing, again? Other than her military issued armor, Nashua's clothes pretty much all consisted of just casual clothing she'd either bought around the Capital city, or that she'd scrounged up on Earth while the Kingdom had been stranded there. "Uhh..." Nashua paused for a moment, then had an idea. She once again tapped the voice command button, and then said, "Nearest fancy clothes store." Genius. Sure enough, another list of addresses popped up. "Looks like the closest one of those is like three blocks down the way you just came," Nashua explained, giving the Saiyan a kind smile. As for the historical records, well... "I'm not really sure where we keep that kinds of stuff," Nashua admitted, "And it's probably private to government people wherever it is. Just so you don't have strangers or weirdos looking up private information about everybody, y'know?"
If she just wanted general history, though, there were probably a few options. "If you just wanna read up about Vegeta's history or something, though, I'm sure there's a library or two around the city! Not very many libraries, since, you know, the internet's kinda running those out of business, but I can help you find one if that's what you're looking for." Nashua had only just realized she had never introduced herself to the stranger, and she'd already spoken so much! "Oh, and I'm Nashua, by the way," she quickly added, holding out her hand for a shake. "Ambassador of foreign relations for the Kingdom. What planet are you from? Chances are, I've had to go there and make some deal or something before!"

Kitiana nodded as Nashua noted the closeness of the Clothing stores nearby, looking towards where she pointed. It seemed she hadn't just walked past them like she'd feared, though she was likely going too had she not ran into her. But she continued on and searched for nicer clothing, calling for fancy clothing shops this time specifically. That one had been down the way she'd just come however which caused Kitiana to sigh. She'd walked right passed it and hadn't even noticed. As unfortunate as it was, it wasn't nearly as unfortunate as what Nashua was about to tell her. Not only did she not really know where they kept the kind of information she was looking for, but it was also probably secured and accessible only by those who were of a high enough military or government ranking.
"I see..." She muttered to herself. Truth be told she didn't really care for local history or anything, she doubted that she'd be able to find any significant information that would pertain to what she was searching for. She could try breaking into wherever they stored the more private information buuuut… That probably wouldn't go over too well for her. A Library might have some information but without any knowledge of who her Father really was... Well it was probably a moot point anyway. Then again if there was some kind of test that could track someone by their DNA, that might work.
But before she could think too much on that she finally introduced herself. Ambassador of Foreign Relations? Well wasn't that kind of hilarious. "Oh uh... My name is Kitiana, I'm actually from Earth technically. Or at least I was born there I think, I'm not entirely sure honestly." She frowned as she tapped her fingers together. She didn't want to make it seem like she was being dramatic or anything, it was just the reality of her situation. "But uhm… Would your library have a way of searching for relatives through like, someone's blood or something? I never really thought of it until now but that might be a way to find out information."

The Saiyan girl looked a bit disappointed by the lack of easy resources available to her when it came to looking up detailed information on other people. Maybe that Yangcong guy could help her out, somehow? Nashua didn't entirely trust the old man, but he certainly had a wealth of private info on pretty much every person in the Kingdom, as he'd shown off to her with his laptop back on Earth. He'd even been kind enough to give her his scouter frequency in case she needed him. "Hang on, I think I know a guy who can help," she stated to the Saiyan girl before tapping in his contact information into her scouter, the messenger quickly beginning to ring. And ring, and ring, and ring, until the call dropped. "Uh, lemme try again," she quickly stated as she dialed his number in once more, only for the buzzer to ring out and then drop yet again. "...Okay, maybe we're a little outta luck."
Ah, well, Nashua would have felt a little weird contacting that guy again, anyway. As for the girl in front of her, her name was revealed to be Kitiana - a nice name, if a bit unsaiyanlike - and that she was also from a planet called Earth! "Oh, well, I've been there a few times!" Nashua chipperly replied, "In fact, my best friend is an Earthling! You ever bump into her? Girl named Ramen? With bright red hair?" Nashua fired off the questions with quick speed and high intrigue, though quickly moved on once Kitiana asked her own question. "Like a DNA test?" Nashua replied, tilting her head to the side as she pondered the idea. As far as she was aware, DNA tests were mostly just good for telling if you were related to someone, not tracking down who you were related to, but maybe something like that existed?
"Umm... Libraries are mostly filled with books and old computers, as far as I've known, but I can help you check if something like that does exist. C'mon, I can walk you over!" Nashua stated with a smile, offering her hand for Kitiana to take before starting to lead them over to the closest library she could think of. Of course, this also meant she was shirking her grocery shopping duties, but in the excitement of helping the Saiyan from Earth track down her lost heritage, that task had slipped Nashua's mind completely, despite the slightly wrinkled paper with all the required shopping ingredients bobbing up and down as it was half stuffed inside her belt. Wouldn't take them too long once they got to the library anyway, right?

It seemed that her words had sparked something in the other Saiyan since she seemed to want to try and contact someone. Kitiana just nodded to her words, watching as seemed to try to call someone via the scouter. Though it seemed her contact wasn't picking up, and even though she tried a second time nothing came of it. Kitiana frowned a bit when she gave up. But soon they were onto another topic, of earth. It seemed one of her best friends was an Earthling, or at the very least, from earth themselves.
Thinking on the description she shook her head "Never heard of her." She'd met several people with bright hair sure, but none that matched that description that was also named Ramen. Then again she was bad at asking for names, let alone remembering them usually, so maybe she had heard of her but then forgot. But she nodded to her question of the DNA test "Yeah like that!" She offered to help her try to find something like a reverse DNA test. Offering her hand to guide her, Kit took a moment to think about it before accepting the hand and walking with her. Perhaps it'd be best to try and stick as close to her as possible.
Truth be told she wasn't sure if this was even possible, or if he would even be in the Database of the Saiyan Kingdom. With literally no info to go on her blood was the only thing she could think of to get some kind of I.D. on him. "Um... Has this ever happened before, out of curiosity? I was... pretty sheltered growing up. My mom didn't really tell me anything about him. The only proof I have that he might be a Saiyan is my tail since my Mother didn't have one. I mean I guess it's possible hers got cut off or something but, something like that doesn't seem plausible. To my knowledge, there aren't really any other hybrids of Saiyans and anything else... Or if there is they keep to themselves."

"You've never heard of Ramen?" Nashua asked in surprise. On Vegeta, anyone who was an incredibly powerful fighter was inevitably going to make themselves known in most households across the planet. Guess Earth just had a different culture, and all that. "Well, she's like, the most amazing human to have ever walked and talked!" Nashua boasted, her hands rising up to fold behind her head as she walked and talked. "She's even stronger than a Super Saiyan, and she's super smart, and super nice, and super friendly! If you ever do meet her, tell her I said hi!" Nashua would probably get the chance to just tell the Earthling that herself when their paths crossed again, but, still, it never hurt for your friends to know you were thinking about them. By the time she'd finished bragging on Ramen's behalf, they'd quickly closed the distance between where they'd previously been and where the library was.
As for Kitiana's own question... Well, Nashua didn't have anything like a previous example she could think back to. "I dunno," she admitted with a shrug. "It's a huge galaxy full of huge planets, so I'm pretty sure there's plenty of people who don't know who their parents were. I never had to worry about that myself, though. My parents were the best growing up! ...Then they got killed. But I brought them back to life!" That actually gave Nashua her own, separate idea for how Kitiana might be able to figure herself out. "Oh, I know - if this DNA thing is a bust, why don't you try seeking out the Dragon Balls and asking one of the great dragons? If they can bring entire civilizations back to life, I'm preeetty sure you can ask them about your dad."
Then again, Dragon Ball hunts tended to be really dangerous. Nashua had only scraped by through sheer luck on both occasions - if her foes had wanted to kill her, she wouldn't have been standing in front of Kitiana at the moment. "But, uh, there tend to be lots of bad guys after the Dragon Balls, too, so, maybe wait till you're a little stronger." Nashua gave Kitiana a small smile as she reached forward and opened the door to the library for the girl, as they'd finally arrived. "I'm sure there's way easier methods of figuring that stuff out, too," Nashua added, now subtly trying to walk back on her Dragon Ball suggestion. "Like this one! I'm pretty confident you'll at least find, uh, something in here!" She wasn't actually too confident, but it was worth a shot, right?

Nashua seemed surprised by the fact she'd never heard of Ramen, Though after her explanation of being rather sheltered growing up that might help explain why she hadn't. But she went on to brag about this earthling, of how strong, nice, and friendly she was. But truth be told the example she gave meant nothing to Kitiana right now, not because she wasn't interested... But because she didn't know what a Super Saiyan even was! "Pardon me for asking but uh... What's a Super Saiyan?" She would probably seem like a damned fool for asking a question like that on the Saiyan Home World, but it probably wasn't a surprising one anymore considering her rather sheltered life. Thankfully their arrival to the library was a fast one, meaning she'd be able to potentially get her answer very soon. For Kitiana this was the closest she'd ever come to finding out anything about her heritage. "Oh and uh... Out of curiosity, how far back do your data banks go? I'd kinda like to know more about my lineage if possible especially if I am a Saiyan."
Part of her was nervous about that to be honest, though she couldn't explain why. It was likely simply due to this being the first time she'd come so close, and the possibility of learning everything she'd ever wanted. But Nashua responded to her next question of whether this had happened before. It wasn't the answer she'd been looking for sadly, though perhaps she simply didn't convey it properly. "Uhm... Well what I meant was, are there other uh... people like me. Half bloods." She said nervously, judging by how Nashua treated her perhaps it was fine, Nashua probably realized long ago she was a half saiyan just by her previous words. But she wasn't entirely sure how others might perceive her. She was worried that if it came to light she might be shunned, or even hunted. Either way she knew it wouldn't stay secret forever, since a few people already knew about it.
But Nashua gave her another option if this failed, some kind of magical dragon balls that could bring back entire civilizations! Kitiana had to stare in awe at those words, her eyes wide. An entire civilization?! How could such power even possibly exist? Such power could... It could do anything surely! If she could get her hands on it... however Nashua cautioned her, stating that a lot of bad guys tended to go after them as well. "I see... I guess that makes sense if they're as powerful as you claim, everyone would want to get their hands on something like that." She said, nodding her head. But Nashua was right, if she truly was a Saiyan then their data banks must have something on them about her family tree right? It's not like anyone could just... erase something like that, why would they?
