Well... This was fun. NOT! Kitiana had come to Namek to try and learn more about her lineage. Now while her venture to Vegeta was mostly peaceful, she hadn't had to worry about landing since they had a proper landing port and the auto-pilot could do it for her because of that. But here? Uh... Where was she supposed to set down at? Sure the auto-pilot might land her somewhere but uh... How did she do that again? Oh right she didn't. Shit. Kitiana looked all around her pod to try and figure it out but, well she was 17 and wasn't exactly a pilot. She started to just kinda press buttons at random, hoping it'd do something befo~ CRASH!An explosion of noises as it barreled through a large home and literally seemed to explode. Thankfully Kitiana had become powerful enough that most of the damage from the crash only damaged the pod and not her, but as she tried to push the door open it seemed it was stuck. "Kami dammit!" She grumbled before pulling her foot back and kicking the door several times before finally sending it flying. She pulled herself out slowly as she coughed, waving her hand in front of her to try and clear the smoke from her face. Once she was a few feet away she opened her eyes and looked around. Great, another crater. Where did that house go? Looking around she couldn't see the house... But she did see quite a few pieces of it laying around the crater. Looking down at her pod which was at the center of it she sighed softly. "Well shit, hopefully the natives don't think I did this on purpose." She grumbled, moving towards it and kicking it a few times to see if it'd work, though it just sat there inert. Looking inside and around it she found her scouter which... Was destroyed, of course it was. She sighed softly. "Well fuck me, now I can't tell if anyone's coming or if they're stronger than me." She grumbled to herself as she tossed the remnants of it to the side, grabbing her sword which thankfully was still in tact and strapping it to her back. She shifted a bit on her feet as she rolled her shoulders. The gravity here was far less intrusive than Vegeta thankfully. Her tail whipped back and forth behind her as she gathered a few more things from the space pod and began to ascend the deep crater. Hopefully nobody had seen her crash, or if they had hopefully they were friendly... despite her destroying what she presumed to be someone's home.

The day had been peaceful. Oros Village had just brought it a sizable harvest and as such the Market was ablaze with activity. Farmers, families and priests alike all had gathered here for the chance to purchase some of the fresh food for themselves. The hamlet had increased in popularity since being declared “New Grand Elder Village”, a side effect of the Villages Elder having been promoted to the position of Guru. It was this Namekian whom now was walking up the long hill towards the very rear of the village – closest to the cavern etched deep within the horseshoe shaped plateau that surrounded their village offering a natural defense. In his arms were a few bags of the desired produce, having been graciously allowed to the front of the line simply due to his station. It was nice of them to let me go first…but they surely didn’t need to. I’m not sure I’m liking this reverence thing. Perhaps I should remind them that we’re all family here in this village.Striding with his mind in the clouds, Oboe – Guru of Namek – trekked his way towards his home, eager to get cooking. He contemplated what he’d do after his meal; Perhaps he’d meditate? Or maybe he’d go for a walk. All the options available to him were wonderful as he enjoyed this simple day with happiness in his stride. How quickly things we enjoy can come crashing down all around us. As the former Sage of Oros neared his home, a loud high-pitched screeching sound emanated from the skies above causing the sensitive hearing of his Namekian ears to elicit intense pain to his person. Doubling over, Oboe was nary prepared for what happened next. The sonic shockwave of impact threw the Namekian, and his Groceries, backwards about ten feet with great force. Rolling around aimlessly in the dirt, Oboe shot a quick glance upward and saw with horror as his home – the home he grew up in his entire life, shared with his father and spent the better part of his time as a Sage within – was gone. Tears welled in the Priests eyes as one of the few material possessions that was truly his, vanished in a quick burst of smoke and flames. Rising to his feet, a tinge of anger in his step, Oboe stormed towards the center of the crater that now made up where he had used to live. Why were all these villagers just falling anywhere they wanted! Namek HAD a Space Port on the Outskirts of Moori Village. The common misconception that his people were just peaceful savages had clearly gone out of control. Without warning a door came flying towards the Sage, slamming into his body with a heavy THUD. Yelping with pain, the Sage fell – once again – to the dust; Vision a bit blurry from the impact, Oboe groggily – once again – returned to his feet. Stumbling towards the edge of the Crater, angered and in pain, the Namekian called out to what he saw standing in the center of the smoke. What looked like a Humanoid, tail waving in the wind, seemed to be the epicenter of the destruction to his childhood home. With a voice that held more anger than he’d ever spoken with before, the Guru of Namek called out to the traveler with tremendous authority in his tone. It surprised even he how much intensity he was able to put into this declaration of disappointment. “Why?! Why my home?! Could you not find your way to Moori Capital? Was your ship broken? Did you not know what you were doing?! Why is my House Destroyed!?!”. Oboe fell to a knee, heartbroken at the sight of his home in pieces. Gazing up, a sight caught his gaze and with great hope the Sage stumbled into the crater and over to an opposite end. Digging into the dirt, Oboe found – mostly in tact – his Father’s ancient seat of power. Thankfully, by some miracle, the impact had thrown it from the home but the force merely embedded it into the dirt as it was cushioned by the sonic boom. Sighing with relief, Oboe returned his attention to the new arrival. “WHO are you? Why do you come here?” It wasn’t that Namekian’s weren’t friendly. It’s not that they weren’t forgiving. But with the wound so fresh and the damage so great – it wasn’t unlikely that the owner of said home would be entirely angry.

As Kitiana had finally taken the time to look around and take in the scenery, she noticed an admittedly rather pissed looking Namekian storming right towards her. From the looks of it he seemed like he was injured too well, injured might've been a strong word but clearly he wasn't unharmed. It didn't take him long to begin rather loudly, yelling at her, demanding to know why she'd done what she just done rather than landing at this... Moori Capital? The hell was a Moori Capital? "Uhm… S-Sorry about that. I-" She paused her words as she watched him very rapidly stumbled his way towards a different part of the crater. She watched as he dug into the dirt for something and as he did he dug out what appeared to be some kind of throne or seat or something.
Then he turned his attention back to her, once again raising his voice and scolding her for what she'd done. It wasn't that he didn't have a right to be angry as he most certainly did! But it wasn't the most peaceful way of introducing ones self. Then again she didn't really have any right to be mad, she had just destroyed his home. "Uhm well you see... My name is Kitiana Shinso and uh... I, come in peace?" She said hesitantly, holding her arms up and shrugging slightly. A crooked and weary smile on her face. "I uh... didn't really know how to land. I've never piloted anything, let alone a space ship, before and I uh... wasn't exactly given any instructions when I bought it. I-If it's any consolation my sword was the only thing of mine that survived?" She chuckled a bit nervously, scratching at the back of her head.
Damn she'd fucked up pretty hard admittedly. Her head tilting down as her tail wrapped around her waist. "I-I'm really sorry... I tried finding somewhere to land but when I visited Vegeta I entered the atmosphere really close to the main city so my auto-pilot just sorta took over. I didn't really know how to land or anything and I did try! I swear I did!" She wasn't entirely sure if he'd believe her though she hoped he would. She knew she was in some pretty big trouble and she honestly expected a fight to erupt pretty soon. She knew that Namekian's were peaceful but uh... They were also warriors, or at the very least had a warrior caste. She wasn't sure how to tell them apart of course, so for all she knew this one could've been one of the warriors.
Her eyes turned back towards the destroyed space pod and she let out a heavy sigh. She scratched the top of her head and frowned. She wasn't entirely sure what she was going to do now, if this Namekian attacked her she'd have to defend herself of course! But she really didn't want to fight if she didn't have to, especially with having just arrived. "I really don't want to fight, I heard that Namekians were relatively peaceful and was hoping to meet with one of the Dragon Clan Namekians. Given the state of things I don't expect you to believe me of course but... I have trouble controlling my powers and I wanted to see if they could help me learn to control them better." She REALLY hoped he'd believe her, she really didn't want to be responsible for destroying someone's home and killing a Namekian the moment she arrived.

He wanted to stay angry. He wanted to embrace his rage and yell at this young lady for being so haphazard with her travels. He wanted to tell her that she shouldn’t have flown a ship without any lessons on how to pilot it…but then, if he did that, he’d be a hypocrite and worse, he’d be neglecting all the lessons he’d taught for years to young, aspiring Hatchlings. With a heavy sigh, he continued to listen to her apologize and explain herself further. She spoke of her inability to really control her vessel and that she’d come here seeking guidance, training maybe, in how to control her powers; whatever the case was, Oboe found himself exhaling and inhaling slowly as he calmed himself. After a moment, Oboe reached his hand out to his left – arm fully outstretched – as if trying to grip something that wasn’t there. Quietly he remained in this position until, without warning, a staff with a large orange stone headpiece appeared magically into his waiting grip. Placing his weight on the newly manifested object, the Namekian would stand and once again turn and regard the female that had destroyed the home of his father. She looked humanoid, though the tail flailing around her had made her seem Saiyan. Reaching out with his senses, trying to gain an understanding of what she meant by “Control her power”, Oboe felt a malicious and dark force of energy emanating from this female’s lithe athletic frame. Curious, as he’d never met any Saiyan before with such dark and sinister energy radiating outward. Yet, judging by her demeanor, the young lady herself didn’t seem to hold the same values her energy did. Even more curious! As she finished speaking, Oboe would hold a hand up as if to silence her. He’d heard quite enough, but though her intentions were indeed of pure nature and design, he couldn’t just let go of the fact that his home of nearly eighteen years – one of the oldest structures in his village - was suddenly gone. It was in this thought, Oboe thought of a suitable punishment and rectification to the event that had just unfolded. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the rest of the village had finally begun to make their way over to the massive crater where his home had been. “I can understand your plight child. Truly. A power untamed is bound to harm those one cares about. Nevertheless! You did destroy my home…an act that does not come easily fixed with platitudes and apologies. So!” Oboe would pause as he stepped towards the young lady, his body language and energy both calm and soothing – dispelling any thoughts that violence may erupt simply by how calming his presence became. “I’ll make a deal with you. You, in a way to make up for your action, will help me repair my home. If you promise to do this, I’ll ensure that not only will one of our Dragon Caste Magi help teach you the control you desire…but that the one who will show you the way will be none other than the leader of our people; Guru. How does this tickle your fancy off worlder? Do we have a deal?” In a showing of understanding of outside cultures – specifically Saiyans and Earthlings – The Namekian offered an extended hand for her to shake; a nonverbal contract that would seal the deal should she accept it. Clearing his throat and cocking his head to the side, Oboe would continue; “Unless…this was not your desire and every word you uttered had been simply designed to excuse your actions. What say you child?”

Kitiana quickly went quiet when he held up his hand. Her fingers twirling together and fidgeting as she listened to him. Thankfully he understood and didn't seem to want violence to erupt, at least not immediately. But he quickly made mention that he could not simply forgive her for her actions she had done, a sentiment she expected to hear in truth. She'd of been surprised if he simply forgave her for destroying his home, and honestly a little suspicious. She heard they were peaceful of course so the lack of a violent outburst was something that she expected however. Her tail coiling behind her as he stepped towards her, her body shrinking and recoiling slightly as her head lowered though she tried to keep eye contact.
Even with his calm approach it was clear that she truly didn't wish to fight. While she had a high power level and a lot of training experience, putting that into a practical setting where she was in control of herself was a different story. But he offered her a deal in exchange for not just forgiveness, but teaching! Teaching by none other than their leader as well!? She'd be an honest to kami fool for not accepting! All she had to do was help rebuild that which she destroyed. Oboe didn't even get to the second part as, as soon as he extended his hand she took it with both of hers and nodded to him while shaking it. "O-Of course! I can't express how happy I am to hear that!" She was still nervous of course, her tail showed that much as it flicked about rapidly. But she had a smile on her face as she shook his hand.
"I'd be a fool to not accept your most gracious offer!" Truly she couldn't express how happy she was that earning forgiveness and training from their leader would be such a simple task after what she'd done, even if it was by accident. "Just let me know where to start and I'll get started right away!" After having crashed and destroyed his home, he had every right to outright refuse her and demand she leave, truth be told. However thankfully he agreed to forgive and aid her.
Despite this all she could hear the whispers and murmurs of the Namekian's that had started to gather around them, and it was truthfully off-putting. While this one Namekian had agreed to help, who was to say the rest would be so kind? What obligation did they have to treat her as kindly as this one did? And who was to say they wouldn't object to how kind he was being? While they were mostly peaceful it wouldn't be out of the question to expect some hostility towards her actions. She wasn't sure of the relations between Namekian's and Saiyan's, however, so perhaps they weren't on bad terms? The Saiyan's certainly didn't treat her with any outright hostility though that could be chalked up to her tail. But if there was hatred towards Saiyan's on Earth, there could certainly exist hatred towards Saiyan's here too... even if they were peaceful.

The woman’s eager grip of his hand and fervent shaking was cause for a bit of surprise as Oboe found himself taken in by the womans grip swiftly. He was satisfied with her response, the agreement to assist in fixing what she had destroyed – in exchange for training. Little did the child realize that the very person he stated would help her, had been none other than himself. Though he was sure she was very and truly sorry – he saw this as a good opportunity to offer guidance and wisdom to another species through patience and kindness. Smiling, he nodded in agreement to her acceptance of his terms and turned to leave the crater. Staring up around the outer ridge, Oboe noticed the villager had gathered in full. All twenty of his brethren stood around with open-mouthed shock. Many of the warriors (Of which the total numbered maybe four currently) seemed aggravated, as if the offense itself was a clear insult to their Spiritual Leader. Others in the crowd began to murmur in hushed agreement before Oboe rose his staff up above his head – silencing the crowd of onlookers. Speaking aloud, the Namekian commanded a sort of awe from those around them; Something the young lady may pick up on if she’s noticing. “My Brothers; We’ve a Guest who will be staying with us for a short time. Though she has accidently destroyed my home – the centerpiece of our Village’s history and first landmark of Oros; She has agreed to assist me in rebuilding it to its former glory, better then ever! I ask that each of you show this young traveler the same respect and courtesy you’d show any of our foreign visitors. She will stay with me in my other quarters for the time being. Thank you for your Concern!” With his speech concluded, The Namekian would float out of the Crater before turning back to the young lady and motioning for her to follow. As she would leave the crater, she’d be met with kind cheers and warm greetings from each of the villagers – the sour tone of his people having shifted on a dime after his words. If Guru willed them to, then he must’ve seen something beyond the destructive accident in the clumsy traveler. So, as they welcomed the women – Oboe moved to the large stone wall that ended the horseshoe design of the Plataeu in which his Village hid within. A natural landscape defense that Oboe had more than once appreciated (though in this situation it proved nary able to protect). At the far rear, a large black opening separated the bright village with a dark cavern. Mysterious magic poured from this Cave entrance, yet Oboe seemed to ignore it; Having become accustomed to its presence over his many years of life in the town. Reaching into his side-pouch, the Namekian would produce a small capsule, an object he’d gained from his trip to Earth. Pressing a slot on the pill shaped object in his hand, the Sage of Oros would toss the object aside and – in a puff of smoke – smile as a large Bronze and Gold vessel appeared in the stead of the capsule. Its massive structure nearly equal in size to the home which the young lady had destroyed with her crash landing. Conical top and protruding spikes gave tell of its Namekian design and heritage, but its overall condition? Much newer then anything seen from his planet to date. This was Oboe’s one Spoiled Prize. The beloved vessel of his late father – Saw – The Gorgon’s Gaze. Having positioned the ship nearest to the Cavern of Oros, Oboe would wait for the young lady to approach as he’d motion towards the Ship. “We’ll sleep here for tonight. I’ll ensure you’re well fed for the coming tasks. Welcome to my “Home”, Child. Come join me” (For More Details: See Oboe’s Tracker for Gorgon’s Gaze Information).
