Pretty Pink Plot Page (Retasu)

Retasu was born to a distant Saiyan father and an Earthling mother. She has a sort of identity crisis, as her mother insisted on more normal, girlish hobbies such as her pursuit of dancing and playing instruments. In contrast, her father's interactions with her involved beating the ever-living hell out of her in spars and attempting to teach her more of her heritage and powers. Eventually, he up and left his family to join his glorious race in battle. Fate unknown, he could've simply abandoned those he loved or died. Retasu's departure from her cage (home and normal living) is in the hopes of learning what happened to him. But more than that, she's looking for purpose. Her mother once wanted to be a star, or an idol which is why she so heavily pushed it on her daughter. Her father, a warrior with power far beyond anyone she'd ever known who went to fight for his race. Her interest in Saiyans and her hard-coded genetics making her enjoy fighting has brought her to the conclusion that she'll uphold both. She'll be pretty, pink and sparkly while fighting and amassing strength. She has a large sword named 'Sonzai' that she uses. She prefers battling with the blade than with her fists. She is however attempting to get better without it.

Retasu is a 5'2 girl who is quite slim. She was born with black hair and green eyes, but as she entered her teen years, she started to dye her hair a multitude of colours. As of right now, she keeps it in pink twintails but has been known to fiddle with her hair a lot of times. She can be seen wearing casual Earth wear that a normal teenage girl could be seen in. She leans towards jackets and hoodies. She has been known to wear hand-me-down Saiyan battle armour and elaborate cutesy dresses too. She carries around a large blade. She still has a tail that is let free most days, but sometimes she conceals it in her clothes. She has had to cut many holes into her favourite outfits just to be comfortable, much to her dismay.

TECHNIQUES

Offensive/Defensive
"Adagio!" [A1] She infuses her sword with Ki before doing a slow and deliberate slice, the path she sliced then ignites into a pink energy slice. Deals 33% of her PL.

"Tenuto!" [B1]: Creates a pink barrier of energy around herself to protect her. It protects her for 33% of her PL and if an opposing technique beats her barrier, and Retasu is within 60% of the attack's PL, the damage is halved. If she is lower than 60% of the incoming attack, the damage reduction is only 25%. If overpowered, it explodes leaving behind cherry blossoms. Cuz she's pretty.

Support
Afterimage [SU1]: Through a sudden burst of speed you leave behind a static image of yourself to distract your opponent, this technique allows you to completely dodge techniques beneath 100% of your PL. This technique uses 1 KP in KP Battles.

Utility
Energy Sensing [UT]: Via some method you are capable of feeling the natural energy of living beings, you have an understanding of the power level of other non-android warriors and can feel the power of the attacks they are using compared to your own. This technique is Passive not requiring activation and uses 0 KP in a KP battle, Energy Sensing does not work on Androids.

Tail Training [UT1]: Through sheer tenacity and persistence, Retasu has learned to overcome the greatest weakness of the Saiyan race. Their tails. She now negates the Tail Weakness trait. This technique is passive and requires 0 KP in a KP battle.

Oozaru Mastery [UT2]: Through sheer willpower and using the form multiple times, Retasu has learned to obtain complete control over herself while in the Oozaru transformation. This technique is passive and requires 0 KP in a KP battle.

Retasu gives in to the primal form of her race and transforms into a large ape-like creature. She has learned to control it. Requires Blutz Wave Generator of some sort.

Upon taking serious, life-threatening damage in battle those with Saiyan blood can gain a Zenkai upon recovering from these injuries, which can cause rapid increases in power.

If an opponent grabs hold of a Saiyans tail (*done via Non-Tech attack or a suitable Technique, Non-Tech being avoidable as per normal non-tech avoidance and Technique by successfully avoiding or blocking the attack in question) such pain is sent through the Saiyans body that they are nearly paralyzed by it, a Saiyan in such a state cannot spent KP. This weakness can be trained away via a technique at 10,000 PL.

When a Saiyan is defeated in combat, their very essence yearns for another chance to best their foe. Whenever you do battle with a character who has beaten you before, you gain +x2 to your current modifier. If you have no modifiers, this is considered a Permanent x2 Transformation. Once you have achieved victory over the rival in question, you lose this bonus. Saiyan Pride can not stack.

Beginner's Post
Retasu's first day after deciding it's time to grow up.

In Pursuit of Power and Prettiness (Solo Training)
Retasu yearns to become stronger, so she tries all that she knows.

Quiet Contemplation
Retasu meets a host of interesting people, makes a new Saiyan friend and gains a heck load of motivation for her journey when she comes face-to-face with a terrifying and evil ghost.

A History Lesson (Dion)
With a hungering for knowledge on her race, she meets up with the friendly Saiyan bartender Dion again. They talk and spar a bit. She begins to see him as a good friend.

Be Like Him (Solo Training)
An attempt at normalcy ends in much weirdness when Retasu, her mother and a cult all end up jumbled together. At least she got to test her strength on living targets.

Practice makes Perfect
Retasu meets with Dion and Bakon again, while meeting a mage, Caesar for the first time. She shows off her new technique!

Introspection (Solo)
Retasu tries to calm herself, looking deep within to put to rest the horrible thoughts and feelings she's been having about herself.

Belief is Power (Solo)
Retasu experiments with her new Gravity Belt.

Have a Safe Trip
Retasu tries to get a grip on what's happening across Earth when all the major cities lockdown. She attempts to help, but it seemingly goes nowhere. She feels powerless.

A Sad Return
Retasu meets a Bioandroid and a Saiyan when a loud explosion draws her attention.

Genetic Malice (Solo)
Finding herself alone, tired and thirsty in the desert, Retasu is ambushed and thinks back on her life. Horrible thoughts and ideas, a rage and fire she never knew she possessed flares up as she takes her first life. It terrifies her.

Destructive Despair
Shortly after the above, she tries to call her spacepod to her but accidentally activates the Blutz Wave Generator, turning her into an Oozaru. Rampaging and almost out of energy, she runs into an Ogre.
