Wanting to get to Castle Namek first, Casca needed the time to strengthen her composure before Flip arrived.
Welcome to Namek, the green planet! Known for their DRAGON BALLS!
This was getting out of hand, Casca thought to herself as she passed through the halls of the once great Namekian stronghold. It felt like just a week ago, she was drinking in some dive bar in the Capitol, buying everyone’s drinks all night with her own money. Now, she didn’t know if she’d survive the next week.
And it wasn’t a coincidence Casca chose this location for this weeks training with Flip. Over the next few days, she planned on learning every inch of this castle.
Looking through every room, every hallway, Casca was determined to find the upper hand. Planning can often be the difference maker when the outcome could be life or death.
The young Saiyan slowed her pace when she came across areas that could be used for possible ambushes, locations suitable for guerilla warfare like tactics. Seeing the possible bottlenecks, she continued to the castle’s roof to see if the sight lines were any better up there.
Conquering the climb, Casca looked out over the Quiet Plains and eventually Moori Capital. Thinking this could all end tonight, or today because the sun never sets on Namek, she sat cross-legged as she waited for her training partner, Flip to arrive.
The Saiyan slowed her breathing as the minutes passed. Feeling the breeze, smelling the warm air, still the only thing on Casca’s mind was …

Flip's PL: 21,380
Flip wasn't so sure about having a training session at Castle Namek. Sure, the place was nice, and Flip wouldn't mind having something like it for his own. But he didn't want to give the Namekians a reason to kick them off of the planet, and potentially damaging the castle seemed like a good reason. He was just starting to get his customers onto the ship, and he was finding that the Namekians were quick on the idea of gambling and fun. I mean, what else was there on this planet? He did have to make it clear though that minors were not permitted on the gambling floors. The namekians didn't seem to have an idea on 'age of consent', and while Flip could have taken advantage of that, he chose not to.
As he arrived at the castle, he could sense her power level. his ki sense was a little rough, but it was there, and he had been around Casca long enough to recognize her power level. He made his way towards her, touching down behind her. He couldn't help but notice that she had been a bit on edge lately. Something was seriously bothering her, and Flip wanted to do something to help her. After all, they had come here for the Dragon Balls for her sake.
"Hey there, Casca," Flip spoke up to get her attention, "Sorry to keep you waiting."
Understanding the principle there are only seven Dragon Balls, and with the influx of traffic to Namek, Casca stroked the one she found the other day as she contemplated what to do next. Luckily, Flip arrived before she had to do any heavy thinking.
“You’re never late, I’m just always early,” Casca smiled as she embraced her friend. Flip didn’t need to say it, but she could sense he knew something was brewing inside of her. Walking to the edge of the roof, the young Saiyan plopped down on the ledge and patted the seat next to her. Hoping Flip would sit down, Casca tried to explain how she was feeling.
“It’s not like I haven’t asked you to do things for me, before. But,” the young woman put a pause to the conversation until she knew she had Flip’s full attention. “With two Dragon Balls, we need to start thinking a couple moves ahead. More and more people arrive on Namek every day.”
Casca stared out over the Capitol.
Watching the city move as if it was a single organism, rising and falling, growing outward in every direction. “I think we need to buckle down and see this though. We know there’s more to this world than Dragon Balls, Oboe has shown us that. I think Namek is worth protecting. And no one can do it on their own, so what do you say,” she waited for Flip’s reply.
Satisfied with anyway Flip took her proposal, Casca knew Flip was right.
Not really in the mood to train anymore, the young Saiyan punched the air as she said, “Dragon Fist.” A small golden Dragon of Ki slithered from Casca’s lazy strike and crushed a far off boulder. Surprised by how much enjoyment she got from sniping that boulder from high on the castle, she felt some of the pressure let off of her soul.
“Woah,” Casca exclaimed, “That was kinda fun! You should try it Flip! I know you have learned some new techniques because I didn’t teach ‘em to ya!” The young Saiyan rebounded to her feet as she formed both of her fists into handgun-formations. Igniting two small balls of purple Ki at her fingertips, Casca held them close to her face before yelling over their roar, “Com’ on Flip, let loose a little!”
The Saiyan fired the two shots up into the heavens, trying to provoke the Dandyman’s enthusiasm.

Flip knew something was bothering Casca, when the blue haired saiyan hugged him tightly. Gently patting her head, he stepped back as she looked back out over the capital, and started speaking about this planet. That there was more to this world than the Dragon Balls, and that they should help protect it. Flip gave a small shrug and a smile. "But of course. I would certainly be bad for business if I let my clientele come to harm, now wouldn't it?" Truth be told, these people had warmed up to him. They weren't like the Saiyans or other humans, who could be total jerkasses and you felt some sense of satisfaction from taking their money. The Namekians were an agreeable people. you couldn't help but like them.
He watched as Casca walked to the edge, and fired off an attack at a nearby boulder, blasting it to pieces. The action seemed to help perk up her mood, as she turned to him and encouraged him to take a shot as well, firing blasts into the air like a cowboy with revolvers. Flip couldn't help but chuckle, pleased with her change in attitude. "Well, I've been working on a little something."
Pulling a small coin from his pocket, he casually flipped it in the air as ki started to build up around it. Catching the coin, he quickly flicked the coin towards another boulder, the charged coin shooting forward like a missile and causing the rock to explode into dust. Flip gave Casca a confident smile. "What do you think?"
When Flip said he’s been working a little something, Casca was more than enthused. “Okay, let’s see it then,” she challenged her longtime friend to demonstrate what he’s been working on in secret.
Flip displayed a normal enough looking coin and ejected into the air. Spinning rapidly, Casca watched the small object flicker with Ki as it fell back into her friend’s palm. Whipping it with perfect technique, she watched the coin descend from the castle and obliterate its intended target. Casca reacted most positively; thrilled Flip’s arsenal was growing so fast!
“What do I think, woah. Don’t allow this man in a casino is what I think,” the young woman jabbed her friend in the arm. “Bet you can’t hit that one,” she said while pointing at a boulder almost double the distance away.
Believing the scales will be balanced soon enough, Casca stared optimistically at her best friend.
“We are going to need everything you got over the next couple days,” said the Saiyan, taking aim at a boulder of her own. Forming her finger into a shape of a gun, Casca stood sideways as she fired. “Vegeta, help us.”

Flip couldn't help but laugh. He had a feeling that Casca would like that. She always had a thing for style and things that go boom. "Too late my dear, I OWN the casino!" At her challenge for the next boulder, he looked over. It was some distance away, but Flip had gotten stronger since his time on Earth. A LOT stronger. He produced another coin, taking aim as it started to glow with ki. With an expert flick, the coin shot off like a bullet. He could even see it spinning through the air before it collided with the boulder, erupting and blasting it into rubble. He turned to Casca and gave her a smirk.
As Casca fired her own attack, mentioning that they would need everything they've got, Flip chuckled and walked over, gently placing a reassuring hand on her head. "Dear Casca, I always bring my best. Just relax, I've got this."
