“Kitiana! Kitiana where are you!”Flying high above the Northern Scar, a green skinned sage would soar brilliantly through the sky, a trail of golden flames following in his wake. A short bit of time had passed since his training session with the young girl whom had destroyed his home. Though they had come a long way in the week they had spent with one another, during their session in the Cave of Oros – Kitiana’s intense darkness had lashed out at the Sage, expelling him from the ritualistic mind meld that had joined them and caused intense damage and pain to his person. When he had awoke, the young girl from Earth was nowhere to be seen. He’d checked with the Villagers and each had told him the same thing. She’d run off, tears in eyes, and flew into the distance with no destination mentioned. In Between searching for the young girl, much had transpired. He’d encountered Kraktus for the third time, argued with him at Porunga’s temple, He’d met the “Monster” whom had taken over Yogu’s body…and even reunited with the Saiyan Nashua. With all the distractions involved, he was hoping she hadn’t run off planet yet. “Kitiana! Can you hear me! I’m alright I promise! Please, come back to the village so I may help you; You need to know what’s going on!”His pleas were desperate, pained. He felt wholly responsible for her reaction and felt even more silly that he’d held back who he was from her. During their last session, the darkness inside of the young woman had proven far too engrained into her mind to establish even a remote foothold for the child to latch onto. In that pitch he’d seen things; Things he wasn’t meant to see but saw anyway had caused a pang in his heart. This young girl, through all her life, she’d been scared. At least…that’s what he could feel radiating off her last time. The young lady had gone through a lot in her lifetime. Trauma upon trauma stacked so high that the ceiling seemed non-existent. It was very clear that he had underestimated the sheer amount of strain that she must’ve been under over all this time. It was in this thought, in his fear of that darkness within, that he rushed to find her. With his senses extending as far as the eye could see, Oboe did his best to try to locate the child. He knew that she hadn’t left the planet, he could feel that much, but for whatever reason – be it her darkness causing it or otherwise – he couldn’t pick her up from all the other life forms planet side currently. “Kitiana!”Oboe’s flight path shifted slightly westward as he flew overtop a large cropping of mountains and plateaus. It was this area that he was the most familiar with in the Northern Scar and the most confident she’d be. The many series of Caverns and lack of life in the area made it ideal for a hiding spot – or even just a place for meditation. It was here that he felt that he’d find her, and he’d hoped it wasn’t too late. Pouring on the speed, Oboe would push himself further as he yelled out once more; “Kitiana! Please Return!”

Fear, Panic, Afraid... Alone. There were many things that Kitiana was feeling right now, but the most prominent one was fear. Fear of what was coming, fear of hurting others... Fear of losing control. She hadn't said anything to anyone when she took off, nor had she picked a direction. It was best that wherever she ended up was random since it meant it was less likely she could be easily tracked. But she had thankfully ended up in a mountain range, far from anyone she could potential harm. The mountain range alone was made up of numerous caves and passages. In the brief time she'd been able to start calling this new place home, she had managed to find one that let her reside deep within and away from the light of the outside. She was strong enough that she could easily kill wildlife and eat, so food and water wasn't an issue. However what was an issue was the possibility of being found... by anyone.
Whether it was by design or an accident, Kitiana was thankful that nobody had found her yet. She didn't know if Oboe was still alive but she knew what she had done, and even if he did survive there was no way he'd forgive her for what she had done. She had failed to keep control and as a result nearly repeated what had happened so many times before. She wasn't sure if it was better or worse that she had retained consciousness while it happened, fully aware of what was happening and yet unable to stop herself. Her fear made her unwilling to even take that risk, and truth be told she'd of likely fled the planet if she had a ship. Sadly she didn't have one.
Unfortunately her peaceful seclusion didn't last forever, as a familiar voice began echoing in the valley of caves and mountainous terrain. He called for her, swore that he was okay and that he wanted to help her... but was that true? or was it just something he was saying to get her to show herself? Perhaps she should... even if it was a lie to get her out in the open... she had attacked him and ran. If he wanted to exact revenge then perhaps it would be best. If she were dead then she wouldn't be able to hurt anyone anymore. But could he even do it? She knew she wouldn't be able to just stand there and let him do it. No, whatever was inside her wouldn't allow for that. It would fight back and try to kill him before he killed her.
But perhaps if he could, then she could finally stop worrying. Or perhaps he'd just want her to leave, she could just go back to earth... return to her Mother... pretend like none of this ever happened. Would this thing inside her let her do that? To just pick back up where she had left off? Maybe. There was only one way to find out however, and that was to confront Oboe. Slowly she made her way out of the cave and into the air, it didn't take long before she locked onto him and dashed off towards him. She just had to pray and hope that another encounter with him didn't end up like last time... or worse.

As he’d suspected, through great chance of the universe above – Kitiana was out here. The young girl flew up to him from nowhere – his ability to sense her normally completely blind to her presence which concerned him greatly – causing him to jump a bit at her approach. With a breath of relief and a ceasing of movement, Oboe sighed with relief visibly as he saw her. His concerned look full of warmth and kindness still, as if nothing had ever happened.
“Thank goodness! I was worried sick about you!”
Oboe’s warmth dimed a bit as he looked at the young girl. It was clear that she was afraid of his reaction, as if expecting retribution to come I such a potent way. Yet, what she thought would come never could – The Guru of Namek felt no hatred or anger towards this child. Through much contemplation during his travels seeking her out, he’d considered what had occurred within her mind over and over – having come to a conclusion as to what was actually going on with her. He’d figured out the reason for the confliction in her energy control and it was now time to truly help this young lady.
“Kitiana, please – come back to Oros Village with me. I know now why our last venture into the inner mind went so horribly wrong. The discord within you, the memories the pain all of that – it’s been festering within and the reason is because it’s being used as a method to control you!”
Oboe frowned as he looked upon her face. He didn’t wish to dump all this on her, but truly he felt that he’d have to give her some kind of explanation to bring her back to the Village with him. Hoping she could handle what he was about to say, Oboe steeled himself and prepared for a potential backlash. If what he was theorizing was true, then it was possible it may retaliate in some way. Nevertheless, he made no means to guard himself as he spoke clearly.
“My dear, I don’t know if you’re aware of this – but you’re very power? The Essence that empowers your being? That tempest is Demonic Energy; I don’t know how, but your entire core is infused with Demon power. That’s why you’ve had such difficulty maintaining your control. Your inner self is conflicting with your true nature…its causing discord and you cannot harness it’s energy in the same manner. Please, come back with me to the Village; I think we can still make progress!”
Oboe hoped she’d take it well. It wasn’t everyday someone would just tell you that your power came from such a negative place. The darkness itself was literally a manifestation of both her potential and the storm of emotions being exerted to take control. He was sure that it was this alone that was causing such moments of rage and insanity. If she could agree to come back, he felt in his core that through training and his magic as a Dragon Priest, he’d be capable of helping her exert that control. Yet…would she come?

Kitiana didn't look at Oboe. Right arm grasping the elbow of her left, her head turned away and looking down towards her left arm. She had resigned herself to whatever retribution was to come her way. He deserved revenge after what she'd done to him, He deserved retribution. Whatever was to come her way was what she deserved, nothing more and certainly nothing less. However, what struck her was not a hand or blast of any kind... but rather words of kindness and relief. It caused her to look up towards him with a look of confusion on her face as he revealed how worried he was about her. She'd lost control in an extremely dangerous way, a way she'd never experienced or felt before... A way that scared her to her very core like nothing else. She was completely conscious of what was happening, able to control almost all of her body yet completely unable to stop herself.
It was a moment she didn't wish to experience ever again, something that, for the first time, made her rethink her want to find out anything about herself or her past. But even as she was lost in her own self-loathing and self-doubt, Oboe was fixated on trying to get her to come back with him, even going so far as to claim he knew what was happening... Knew why this was all happening. The turmoil within her, the pain, the memories, everything. He went on to begin an explanation of what was happening. He explained that it was this demonic essence that resided within her, this thing that everyone else seemed to know so much about yet wouldn't tell her a thing. Sensoa, another demon, couldn't or perhaps wouldn't explain what she was to her. But why? Why was everyone keeping her in the dark about what she truly was? Was she even a Saiyan? Or was this tail just a replication of some ancient ancestor? Who even was she?
Oboe claimed he thought he knew how to make progress towards controlling it but... Was it even worth the risk at this point? Was any of this worth the risk? She had almost killed him last time, Who's to say she wouldn't do it the next time she lost control? She wasn't entirely sure if any of this risk was worth pursuing anymore. "Is it even worth the risk?" Kitiana still hadn't looked up towards him this entire time, not daring to look at the one she'd almost killed. "I... almost killed you last time, and whats more is I was fully conscious when it happened. That's never happened before, I've never been conscious or aware of what was happening. It was the only thing keeping me from just abandoning everything." Her right hand gripped tighter to her left arm, her tail curling tightly around her waist. It wasn't fear she was feeling, it was terror. Kitiana was terrified of what might happen the next time she lost control, terrified of simply losing control the next time she even tried to fight. Where once was a burning flame, a burning passion to fight... Was naught but an bunch of burnt out logs.

The fear was evident in the young lady’s voice. He could sense the trepidation, the worry and as she uttered the words of wondering if anything was worse the risk – it nearly broke the Namekian’s heart. The experience had totally shattered her self-opinion about being about to conquer the darkness and tame it to her own will. She had every right of being incredulous to his statements – if he’d tried as oft as she had to fix her issues with control and managed to harm someone left and right, he’d probably begin to wonder if the ends justified the means after all.
The fear had taken a massive grip on the young girl’s heart, and with good reason. Her violent tendencies had caused tremendous pain in her life, as he’d seen in her mind, and it was clear that the sheer weight of such things had finally shattered her. Hoping to reignite her spirit, the Namekian Sage would continue to smile, offering her his own words of hope and wisdom in the desire to revitalize her own spirit.
“Kitiana…As talented as you are, I assure you – “as if to empathize the point he was making, Oboe pounded his chest a few times with a balled fist. “You weren’t even close to killing me. I promise – I’m much more powerful than you might think.” The smile was evident that he wasn’t joking. “You came to me from the stars, with such a tenacious desire to become stronger. To become more controlled in your actions. I beg of you, don’t give up on me because of one mistake. Let us continue to work on this together... I don’t want to see you fall to the darkness Kitiana. If you do…without a doubt you will cause more pain and harm than I think you desire to...”
Chancing the danger, Oboe approached her slowly to place a reassuring hand on her shoulder. He hoped that she’d listen to his words, she hoped she’d recover the drive and desire to push forward and learn how to control the malevolent energy within her. He wanted her to understand that clearly, he felt responsible for her outburst, that he’d been untrained enough in what he was trying to even attempt it at the time. Though now, he felt more confident, that he’d be able to assert his own control over the creature within should they attempt the training again.
“Kitiana, please…come home with me. Let us continue where we began..” With that, he’d risk the ultimate and place his hand on her shoulder.

He claimed she was talented, she saw it as a lie. He claimed to be more powerful than she thought... But she saw how injured he was before she left. He claimed to be able to help her with this, but she saw that as impossible. How could anyone control this? How could anyone understand it? This... thing, whatever it was, was eating her alive from the inside out. It destroyed anything she tried to build up. How could she be so talented and yet such a hopeless failure? How could she possibly be able to control this when every time she did it only got worse? For as much as Oboe claimed, it hardly mattered to her. She'd tried, and tried, and tried, yet all she got in return for her efforts was more failure and more blood on her hands.
"Oboe one of my worst fears is that I kill someone... it used to be my worst fear of all. But that last time it... it wasn't the same. It was worse, far worse. I was aware of everything, conscious and able to move... yet completely incapable of controlling my own actions. When I came here, I was at least able to control myself if nothing else, I could stop myself. But now I can't even be certain of that." Tears welled in her eyes, her body instinctively pulling away from Oboe as he tried to get near her as she shook her head fervently "I don't want to risk it happening again... it felt like I wasn't going to come back from that, like I was about to lose myself completely. Whatever this power is within me only gets harder to control the more powerful I get. It's become increasingly obvious. When it first surfaced it only ever took control of me when I was in danger, but now it's doing it whenever it wants and the worst part is I'm still conscious now when it does it!" Both arms now gripped her shoulders, her body trembling at the mere thought of training.
"I may have been tenacious about it once before, but after nearly losing myself entirely I don't want to risk it again. I... I don't know if I'll come back next time."

Oboe sighed. He was afraid it’d come to this but he knew that the possibility was more than there from the moment he’d seen the tempest within. She had broken both as a fighter and as a person having fallen into a pit of despair that left her terrified of her own power. In this moment? At this time? She was a Danger to both herself and to others – she was without a motivation…and without motivation she had nowhere to focus her mind to contain the darkness within.
“Kitiana, being aware of what you were doing is good! It’s a progress that you didn’t have before, you even said it that you’d black out. If you could see through your own eyes then that means you have the potential to wrest control from the Tempest itself.”
Oboe’s face turned from warm to concerned to determined. He approached Kitiana with more purpose as he moved to grasp hold of her arm. It wasn’t a violent motion, but like a parent chastising a child – to get them to follow them. It was strange that while his power seemed low, his grip would seem tight (thought no too tight as to cause pain) and purposeful. With stern words, he spoke once again; His tone made it clear that staying out here in the wilderness was not an option.
“Kitiana. You must return with me. In your current state you’re a danger to yourself and to everything and everyone around you. Knowing now what it is that drives your power, knowing that while it may only generate more questions than answers, you need to learn to control this…or else it’ll be catastrophic. Now come. We must return.”
He hoped that he wouldn’t have to start pulling her with force. Unfortunately for him, it was beginning to see as if he’d be forced to respond in such a manner. Still, he thought in his heart that she too would want what he did and would understand the importance of training. As such he began to fly towards the village as if he just knew she’d come along – not expecting any resistance or any issue. With a confident tone he repeated;
“Come along now. We must be on our way – there’s much work to do! If we push hard, we can probably get your power under control by the week’s end! It’ll be great! You’ll see-“

While Oboe's intentions were pure enough and his words kind enough... Kitiana was simply too scared. Of what had happened, and what might happen. His words were soft, but Kitiana didn't hear them that way. She heard them as demanding, as controlling. He was trying to hold her back, trying to keep her from moving on with her life. He was right that she was a danger to herself, but more importantly she was a danger to everything around her. To the animals, the mountains, even to Oboe. As soon as he approached her she pulled herself backwards and began shaking her head rapidly. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no" Her words were softly spoken, almost whispered as she clutched her upper arm with her hands. Tears streamed down her face as the soft purple glow began to emit from not just her arm, but underneath her gi as well. Impossible to make out the shape of it, but it was centered around her chest. Her Power Level began to very rapidly climb as he spoke, spoke of her being a danger to herself and everything around her. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no" Her words were getting faster and faster as her aura began spilling out from her in long strands of dark purple energy, her head shaking back and forth faster and faster. As he told her they must return, her hand moved for her blade that was strapped to her back, her left hand grasping the hilt tightly.
"I SAID NO!"
Suddenly her power exploded, her Power Level, which had already risen to almost 120,000, soared and blasted well beyond it. A shockwave erupted outwards as her Power Level skyrocketed to almost 200,000. A vibrant purple glow began piercing out of the scabard she housed her blade in, both hands now grabbing it before yanking it free and swinging down quickly. A large slash of purple energy erupted from the now ominously glowing blade aimed directly towards Oboe. "I TOLD YOU NO!"Her anger was in full effect at this point, her actions driven by her intense emotional state as she lunged towards Oboe, swinging without restraint as her power continued to surge from her, now completely unrestrained. Her mind was a fog unable to process anything outside of the intense emotions now surging through her body. The glowing that had once been subtle across her upper torso and arm now just as ominous and intense as the glow from her blade. Each swing was full with naught a drop of strength held back, bringing it down towards Oboe over and over and following him if he tried to move away with her full speed.

The sudden surge in power caused Oboe’s hand to be knocked away as he himself was physically pushed forward – away from Kitiana – by the force of the rise. Spinning around rapidly to take in the sight of her as she screamed her protests, Oboe watched as she began to be taken by the Tempest within. Swiftly revealing his true – full power – Oboe’s body began to spark with electricity – golden in hue. In his Great Namekian state – different for his caste as he was spiritual in nature and not physical – he narrowly had the opportunity to begin avoiding the slashes that were directed his way! Manuvering his body left and right, weaving through the purple, ki coated slices – Oboe swiftly realized that the girl was falling deeper and deeper into the madness that was her Demonic self. He had to help her overcome this – and if combat was the only way, then so be it! During one of her swings, Oboe focused his protective shell around himself – considering the act as his left hand moved forward with great speed. A soft glow and strange iridescence coated the olive-green hand as it protectively knocked the blade asunder opening the girl’s defenses. Gigun: Kenrui! With the opening granted to him by the swift act, Oboe’s right arm would lunge forward – suddenly stretching beyond normal means as the appendage stretched out, the open palm pushing against her chest as the Namekian put some distance between them by use of his people’s uniquely stretchy limbs. The powerful appendage would push a wave of invisible force forward to ensure the girls movement. Oboe didn’t want to hurt Kitiana – but he would subdue her if necessary. At the peak of the stretch, Oboe’s open palm released a potent – but non-lethal – wave of Ki into the chest of the young girl. He hoped, that this would be more than enough to cause her to snap back into her senses. He couldn’t imagine her pushing forward even further and getting hurt. He wanted her to take control, but he wasn’t sure the child had the capability at this time. Slowly but surely, as the hand would begin to retract, Oboe would prepare himself for the coming battle. Whether he’d end her reign of terror without having to bring harm upon her…or he would have to disable her through much more intense means. Whatever the need, Oboe was prepared to deliver. Oboe uses his [B1] Gigun: Kenrui (Righteous Force: Stronghold) to protect his hand as he slapped away the ki blade (71,280). Oboe Transformed into Great Namekian! PL: 216,000 Oboe used his stretching limbs to move Kitiana away from him and delivered a Non-Lethal Ki Blast (No KP) KP: 2/3

Of course he was fast, why wouldn't he be... anything less and Oboe wouldn't be worthy of fighting her. Of course if Oboe wished to bring her back, there was but one way to do it whether he liked it or not. Even as his own strength swelled to meet with hers it meant little to her. Sure she knew how powerful he was now, but it mattered little to her. A successful defense on his part against her admittedly weak attack, good. But his hopeful opening wouldn't remain so hopeful for long, Kitiana not even making an attempt to dodge or block and instead allowing his hand to connect with her and push her backwards. Once it was nice and stretched out, her hand reached forward to grab his tightly to prevent it from retracting and subsequently preventing his attempt to push her further back with the Ki wave as well.
Her eyes clouded over with that same dark purple energy as she glared towards the Namekian, tears still streamed from them but despite that the only emotions displayed was anger and hate. If his arm was indeed caught, the blade was quickly sent upwards in an attempt to slice through the arm and cut it off. Regardless of whether she could or not, she pushed herself back another few meters before she'd bring herself to 'stand' in the air. Her chest raised with pride, her tail whipping back and forth rapidly behind her. "Enough, Leave me be." She would then raise her sword and point it towards him "Leave now, or perish." That same strange bracelet-like object materialized around her wrist, slowly spinning around it though nothing more appeared.
For an uncontrolled raging beast, Kitiana was acting surprisingly calm despite her demeanor. That being said, the bracelet around her arm made it obvious what she intended on doing next if Oboe refused to leave.

The grip against his retracting limb was undeniable. With frustration, he struggled against the hold – his eyes locked with hers. Though it was the face of the young girl he’d been trying to help, the eyes – the darkest pitch he’d seen thus far – were of the tempest within. He could tell nothing would be held back on her end, and the thought snapped a realization and memory into his head. Ochra, the Saiyan from Vegeta, had taught him to act decisively and to have confidence in his own strength. It was time to use that very confidence to bring this young girl home with him. With a surge of force Oboe’s would flail his arms like a whip, the force would snap the appendage free from her grip, though not in time to completely avoid damage. As the sword sliced upward, the whip-snapped limb would try to and maneuver his flailing appendage but at the last second the blade would carve deeply into his entire forearm leaving a gashing wound in its place. Purple blood flooded from the area as the arm retracted back towards the Namekian. “I-I can’t leave you Kitiana. I will not. You’re a danger to yourself and to others. I will not walk away from you – I will not abandon another soul; no more blood will be spilt on my world.”The frustrations of the Month had finally come to a boil in Oboe’s mind as the Sage of Oros countered the young childs desire to be “left alone”. He’d left Yogu alone, and Typha alone and now both men were dead. There would be no more lives lost on Namek due to his negligence. Never again would he be responsible for harm to come upon others. If there were to be bloodshed, he’d gladly spill it in their place. The Namekian began to glow a brilliant hue as his aura intensified into a sharp flaming edge. The interior of the field of energy was filling with thick brilliant white ki. “You will return to Oros Village – We will finish your training and your life will move forward for you. You will accomplish your dreams of becoming who you wanted to be, and this Tempest will control your actions no longer. You are you, Kitiana. I will remind you of that.”
Raising his right arm forward, extending his four fingers, Oboe began to direct a current of energy from his shoulder down into his palm. Slowly – a double-helix like design of energy coalesced into existence; one rotation made of brilliant golden light, while the other running parallel was comprised of violet energy. Guru indeed had a secret weapon of his own that he’d developed over his many years training among the Priests of Namek made more powerful by his current position. Focusing his inner desires – what a sage would consider “Darkness” – and his desire to help, the “Light”, into a forced continuance; Oboe was able to control a powerful attack of his own thanks to the balance created. “Don’t make me force you. Stand down child.”A sphere of brilliant golden a violet energy slowly began to manifest into the center of the Guru’s palm. His eyes – determined in their understanding of what needed to be done. Recalling clearly what the bracelet on her arm had meant the last time, Oboe was not taking any chances. He’d ready himself for the coming storm as if the very manifestation of his counter-offensive was a declaration of war. Though he was doing this for the right reasons, it felt so wrong to him. He had no choice however, the child – as earnest as she was – had forced his hand. No KP Used, +1 KP. 3/3

Kitiana watched as Oboe continued in his refusal to stand down and leave her be, continued in his self-indulgent attitude that demanded she obey him as if he were her owner, and she some pet. But no, that was not how this day would go. She would not be shackled and brought to heel by anyone. Now was the time for her to demonstrate why she was not some pet, some thing to be owned. Now was the time to prove her independence. Her muscles swelled, her entire body bulging as the blade was flipped so the bladed part now rested against the underside of her arm. Her right arm raised slowly before grasping at her forearm. Her head tilted downwards, her eyes now closed as she let out a low breathy sigh. "I see." Was all she said as her Power Level once more swelled even higher, the tendrils of energy now exploding outwards into a torrent of raging ki around her as six appendages now formed on the outside of the ring, perpendicular with her arm as they spun around it. Her Power Level skyrocketed again, surging well beyond 200,000 to almost 300,000, stopping finally at a staggering 288,000. Her body didn't move from its spot, indicating her very clear intent on what this next attack was aimed at doing to the Namekian. It was wrong, she didn't want to hurt Oboe but... He wouldn't leave her alone if she didn't. If she wanted peace, true peace, he had to be taught a lesson. Her intent wasn't to kill him, but if he survived and persisted, then she'd be left with no choice but to kill him. The anger and hatred in her face that was once so prevalent as to drown out all other emotion vanished, in fact all emotion vanished from her face. She was, for the first time, rendered emotionless in this current state. One by one the appendages shot up to be vertical and outstretched from the bracelet as they twirled slowly, the energy beginning to build as her eyes opened and her head lifted to face Oboe. Where once were glimmering eyes of sadness, hatred, and anger, instead were replaced with naught but an emotionless void. Clouded entirely by the purple hue that was her inner demonic energy. "Jdie rmo tspgo vl tt fzohzg." Her voice was far deeper than before, far more... sinister. Was this even still Kitiana? Or had she become overtaken by the very thing he was trying to save her from? Well as the appendages began spinning faster and faster, the energy coalescing into the strange galactic-like visage one that was certain... The intent of her attack. As the energy coalesced it obscured Kitiana from a frontal view almost entirely. Her right arm gripped tightly to her forearm, a single tear streaking down her face behind the energy before the violent torrent erupted forth, much different than before however. In not just appearance, but Power. Where her power level didn't even peak at 300,000, her attack peaked at nearly 400,000. Where once it was simply a torrential gushing of energy, it now obfuscated everything behind the bracelet, extending out in seemingly infinite directions all at once as it aimed to render the Namekian inoperable and unconscious. There would be no more time for discussion, no more time for an attempt at verbal reasoning. If Oboe wished to bring her back, He'd have to render her unconscious. The sheer power of her attack would be enough to kill most anything at this point without a thought, strong enough to render even capable fighters unconscious. Besides that even if Oboe survived it... What would happen to Kitiana? Well should he survive, the aftermaths of her own attack would be self evident, the clothing that remained on her chest, save for some rags, almost entirely obliterated and her arm and torso drenched in her own blood from reopened wounds that now glowed the same dark purple hue as the strange markings that were now not only littered across her entire body, but very much visible. But even so, Kitiana didn't seem to react to the pain or seem to even take notice of the reopened wounds.

The bulge of the girls muscles was the first tell – something was coming. The rising energy cascading around her form causing the world around them to quake and tremble, protesting the sheer existence of this strange malevolence. Namek felt the rising power just as equally as Oboe did – impressed as the sheer tenacity of violence the innocent girl from before now exuded. Still, as her power rose, nearly matching his own in many ways, Oboe remained steadfast.
The tendrils of energy rising towards the skies above were only matched in their intimidation by the sheer presence of the strange bracelet or wrist related object manifesting out of ki. He’d seen and felt its touch before – knew what it meant. Still, he feared nothing as he prepared himself both mentally and physically for what was to come. While she remained stationary, the Namekian would continue to gather energy. He could sense the oncoming attacks rising power, but still – if there was fear to be shown he did not betray his own internal senses.
“I’m sorry Kitiana. You forced me to this…”
The attack released was intense, the rotational appearance of the bracelet and its extensions would suddenly expand to such a point that the attack was released. Its full force exploding forth in a massive display of power and wickedness. The sheer threat this one attack represented was nearly enough to wipe the entire mainland off the planet. Oboe couldn’t dodge it – it’d endanger his world. He wasn’t strong enough to deflect it with his own protective skills – once again, his world was at risk. What could the Guru of Namek do in the face of such power?
He could call out but one thing;
“Gigun! Kyokusha Taiho!!!!” (Translation: Righteous Force: Howitzer Cannon!)
The energy that he himself had been gathering fired from his open palm with a resounding aftershock – forcing the Guru to slide backwards quite a bit. The sphere of energy growing in size as it roared a path towards the attack coming towards its owner. The helix that had encapsulated his outstretched arm had joined with the attack acting as a trailing tail of force connecting the continued pressure of Oboe’s Ki to empower the attack. It wasn’t that his attack was as powerful as the other – no, it was that Oboe had faith that his attack would atleast mitigate some of the damage coming his way.
The clashing techniques impacted against one another with a resounding boom. The shaking of Planet Namek increased in tenacity as the energy-based constructs duked it out before their originators. Electricity sparked to life crashing down upon the ground below tearing asunder blackened blue-grass and causing the sea of trees around them to uproot and fly off. It was a sight to behold as the independent attacks caused damage to centralize in the area of their bout.
However, as the momentum of Oboe’s attack fizzled out, the remaining output of the weirdly sounding attack passed through, engulfing his form in energy that seared and burned his flesh. A scream of pain echoed throughout the area as Guru was brought towards the ground at insane speeds. The attack, once slamming the guru into the dirt, would explode outward in a brilliant dome of flames and light – the shaking of the ground finally subsiding. It would seem, for all intents and purposes, the battle was done. There would be a level of assuredness in the Half-Demons approach most likely – yet, as the smoke dissipated, a lone figure would still be standing in the center of the maelstrom.
“…Is that…all you’ve got…child?”
Oboe lived! Though, his physical state told a near different story. Left arm completely blown off, his clothing had been burned and singed in many areas. Violet blood leaked profusely from numerous open wounds, each caused by the attack. He looked ready to keel over at any point, yet there he stood glaring daggers at the girl with a fire in his eyes that made it clear he wasn’t done yet. Suddenly, without warning, Oboe’s Energy that had just weakened with the impact, began to rise once again to its maxium. The Namekian yelled outward as the gaping wounds in his body slowly sealed. Sweat beading down his brow, the lost limb suddenly sprouted out once again from the damaged ligament!
“What I am…you cannot dispatch so easily – Demon.”
If he had taken any damage, suddenly it seemed as if nothing had occurred. Completely unscathed outside the damage to his clothing, Oboe would stare at the young lady before rising once more into the air to face her. There were no more words to say, she had made her choice clear and the markings on her body also made it clear – Kitiana wasn’t in control here. Without words, without sound, Oboe would vanish and reappear directly in front of the demon girl before attempting to deliver a resounding punch to her jaw, hopefully to knock the girl unconscious. With hope, he'd be able to end this. Now.
Oboe uses Gigun: Kyokusha Taiho to counter the strangely named attack (MA3 > 100% for 216,000 Damage vs 383,040. Difference to hit Oboe 167,040.) Damaged after the clash, Oboe uses Regeneration!! Heals back to 100%!! KP Used: 3 KP: 0/3

It was clear from the moment she began charging that Oboe wasn't backing down... truly a pity. The look in her eyes, not that he could see them, was one of remorse. She both did and didn't want to do this, did and didn't want to attack the one person who was still trying their hardest to help her. But right now she just wanted to be left alone and this was the only way she could not just get it, but ensure it. She could feel his own technique charging in response, ready to try and impact against hers. For the first time in her life she'd managed to fire this attack, yet at the same time she wanted to hold back. She couldn't hold back though, not because she didn't want to... But because she was simply incapable of it. His words fell on deaf ears, Kitiana simply too far to hear and unwilling to listen anyway.
The two techniques clashed, forming what might otherwise be a beautiful kaleidoscope of colors before hers inevitably pushed through. Engulfing not only the Guru's attack, but the Guru himself. Wounds on her own arm began opening, tearing themselves back to freshness and causing blood to seep from them. Electricity sparking off of the long appendages of the bracelet-like object. It shoved the Guru away, slammed him into the ground and caused an enormous explosion. Before the explosion itself was even over the bracelet and appendages began to fade, Kitiana's eyes focused on that rather than the explosion before her. She watched as they slowly withered, the energy that was built vanishing before. It was... strange. It seemed that level of power wasn't something she could maintain, it wasn't something she could control still.
Her arm was trembling at this point as it slowly fell to her side, nearly covered in her own blood by now as her head looked down towards Oboe. Her face somber as she stared down towards him. She turned her blade back around so the blade now faced Oboe. She wouldn't say another word, instead turning away from him and beginning to float back towards her cave. It was unlikely he'd see just how badly her left arm trembled, but for Kitiana she felt every single small movement of her arm... every single vibration it produced. The pain was numbed by the surge in power, but she could tell how badly damaged her arm was just from the shaking it was doing. She didn't want to continue fighting, she... wanted to either be killed or left alone and it was clear that Oboe either didn't have the strength to do it, or simply wouldn't do it. Her muscles contracted and shrunk back to their normal size, blood dripped from the blade of her lightly glowing sword.
She hoped that he'd just leave... That he'd forget about her and just go on about his life. Hoped, that she'd just wither and be forgotten. That's what she hoped for. But that wasn't what Oboe was going to do, no as she turned to leave he moved around her rapidly to block her exit before moving to clock her jaw. Her head was jerked to the side, her eyes staring blankly towards him before she pushed back against his hand and brought the blade upwards, aiming to either slice him in half or leave a large gash in his chest. Either way it was aimed at making him back away so that she could continue with her attempt to leave.

As terrified as the situation had become only seconds ago, Oboe had found himself a new reserve of strength that he’d never once experienced in his life. He felt concern, care, and a desire to protect the one before him. He didn’t enjoy the fact that he was going to have to cause her physical harm – and from the looks of the markings on her body rapidly growing more and more, he was going to have to cause A LOT of physical harm to stop her rampage. Still, if the hesitation was there it wasn’t evident. The fist had landed resounding Crack, but he knew that wouldn’t be enough to fell her.
The slash came swiftly, cutting a deep gash into his clothing, though not quite scraping the Guru’s flesh. The cut however did cause the over-cloak that he constantly wore to fall off his shoulders – floating gracefully down towards the broken ground below. Now, adorning only his pale greyish-tan gi, orange gemstone still emblazoned around his waist, the Namekian would proceed. He did not allow the young girls sword to bother him, in fact, in the moment? There wasn’t much that did bother him. He had a goal – he would indeed accomplish it.
“Kitiana…I’m sorry for this, but you’ve left me no more choices. From now on – I’m giving it all I’ve got!”
Once more, Oboe rushed at the young Demon – however, his movements seemed…different. There was a tenacious streak to his tone, a fire in his eyes that he’d never exhibited before. His fangs, salivating with anticipation as his antennae twitched. Once again violet and golden energy spiraled around both of his arms – though this time it was different. This time, the violet energy shone more virulently then before – pulsating with ancient dark magic. Oboe’s Mazoku bloodline – though not as dominant – was slowly firing up.
Without another word, Oboe vanished from sight and reappeared behind the woman. With a mighty roar Oboe would bring two hands down – fists balled together – for a double handed Helm-Smash. If the move was meant to do damage however, it never came as the feint caused the limbs to pass through the woman’s body as if they had become intangible and their owner once again vanished. What was going on? Why was Oboe’s combat style changing so much?! If those thoughts crossed Kitana’s mind, she’d not have much time to consider them as Oboe once again reappeared high above the two of them.
With reckless abandon, his twin arms stretched down to either side of the Demonoid, positioning both palms to face her form from either side. With a mighty roar, twin beams of energy exploded forth from his open hands to impact – on both sides – into her with a resounding crack. With each release of energy, the planet trembled. Sure, there were more powerful warriors planetside as they fought – some had even caused drastic environmental issues with their prodigious strength, yet right now Namek wasn’t responding to them. It was responding to her Protector, her guardian. The Guru.
Smoke billowed from the impact point, but Oboe didn’t hesitate to retract his arms – both limbs slipping back to normal length in record time. The Namekian burst forth with preternatural speed, allowing white flames to encapsulate his form. With the enhanced speed of his powered-up flying, Oboe would approach the cloud with arms stretched before him. Another battle-cry and more energy blasts were sent soaring forth into the Malestrom. He wasn’t sure if anything he’d done thus far had any impact or success, but he was sure Kitiana would be coming. He had to keep her occupied!
If I don’t take her down right here, right now, in this moment – she’s going to destroy everything including herself! That Darkness isn’t good for her in this state, its evident by the markings corrupting her form. I have to…. I have to save her! It’s my duty! She trusted me, I let her down. I can’t do that – I won’t allow such things to keep happening! Typha, Yogu, all of their blood is on my hands! I will not watch it happen again, I will not go begging to the Saiyans to help me! I WILL save her!
The rapid firing energy blasts slowly ceased as Oboe began to float there listlessly – his eyes attentive on the situation before him. Should she have managed to avoid most of the damage, she’d find herself none the worse for wear – but if some of his attacks had hit, perhaps the damage would be substantial or enough to weaken her more. Strong as Oboe was, he had to admit that the Earthling was just as strong. He was more than a little impressed with her capabilities thus far. She truly was gifted, and it was in those gifts that Oboe wished to help.
“Kitiana? Are you alright? Do you concede?”
Oboe was hoping against all hope that the girl was done. He didn’t know how much longer he could maintain his energy at this level. While he was indeed naturally gifted, he wasn’t used to such long periods of time in this state – such a thing was surely taxing to him on a spiritual level. In his mind, however, he rationalized that if Kitiana could stand there in the pain she was most obviously in, willing to continue the bout – that he owed it to her to do the same. Staring forward, ears alert, senses on high, Oboe waited for what was to come. Surely, he had had some success? Right?
