Karon's PL: 24,000
Items: Scouter, Gravity Device
Before they had parted on Snake Way, Karon had told Typha that if he ever wanted to take him up on that sparring session, they should meet up at the old tournament grounds. He figured it was a good mid-point between King Kai's planet, where Typha would surely be spending most of his time, and the ogre offices that Karon frequented. That, and it was a pretty hard to miss landmark. An asteroid carved out into a massive arena, as impressive as it was empty. The only people who came around here were the ogres that showed up every so often to sweep and do general upkeep so the place didn't fall into disrepair. It was a historical spot, he supposed, but he couldn't remember the last time there'd been an actual tournament here. ...Now that he thought about it, Karon wasn't sure he was even supposed to be up here. Oh well, too late now!
While he waited for Typha to arrive, Karon did some stretches in the middle of the arena. He was clad in a simple t-shirt and sweatpants, instead of his usual grey suit, with his jian blade slung over his back. It was a pretty plain ensemble, except for one thing: two pairs of shiny steel bands, one for his wrists, and one for his ankles. He was being increasingly outclassed by the mortal fighters he came across and, frankly, it was beginning to annoy him. The shopkeep he had bought these from said they would help him train, all he had to do was channel some energy into the runes along the bracers. So Karon did just that, and immediately felt the effects. The bracers felt suddenly much heavier than they had any right to, but that heaviness wasn't just concentrated on his wrists and ankles, it was his whole body. Being his usual, speedy self would be more difficult with these on. It would take some getting used to.
And so, that's how Typha would find the ogre when he eventually made his way up to the tournament grounds: running laps around the arena, and looking way sweatier than you'd expect from someone on their pre-workout workout.
