Silence Killed the Saiyans
Stepping into the Grand Elder Village for the first time in several months, Xana couldn’t help but feel a little sick. The first time she had come here, she had brought terrible news of the savagery of the StarGoons. As it had turned out, the same group had tricked the people here into thinking they were the heroes. They had stashed their dragonballs here, hiding them in the old guru’s chambers to be guarded. It was mighty unfortunate that battle struct the people surrounding this area in the lust and greed for power to be gained via the dragonballs. Now, as she stepped into the town, the people here and the Saiyaness herself seemed to have changed a lot.
While Xana had no tail, she was still marked with that official crest of the Saiyan Kingdom. It wasn’t on her clothing, but rather, her face was known for the speech from the aforementioned force. She also had the distinguished characteristics of a fighting saiyan. Effortlessly tone muscles, black hair, it was easy to tell what she was. None of that would have matter originally, though. Now, as she walked through the streets, their gazes were murderous. The peace that had held the Saiyans and the Namekians together seemed to be on a last thread. Ever since the war, it was no surprise that they might have turned around and aimed their recent problems at the Saiyans. After all, the only reasons the Fleet came to this planet was because the Saiyans came to take the dragonballs. War followed the Kingdom, and that was obvious.
Turning to the town square where her and Nashua and chatted with locals for hours, she stopped and eyed around. The younger Namekians seemed to be out of site now, leaving nothing but working Namekians, who occasionally starred down the Saiyaness. They seemed to be keeping their peace, holding their grudges in their heads. Were they afraid of backlash? Xana wasn’t prone to violence some other Saiyans might be. Sure, she trained to get stronger, but she didn’t even like to get angry in front of people. There was no way she was going to blast back at them. Of course, there was no way anyone here could tell that from her, but all the same, Xana eyeballed around.
The town has been making significant recoveries from the battle that had happened here and they happened to be in the middle of a flourish. Vegetables they had been growing were growing and blooming at accelerated rates, giving the slug people a magnificent bounty to feed on. Not only that, but a few neighborhoods have extended outwards, meaning more Namekians have been splitting in an optimal time of harvest. The city, despite hiding from Xana, was now overflowing with life, far more than it had been before. It was most likely a miracle of the new Guru, who has no doubt been working hard to produce blessings for his people. Making a mental note of the prosperous outcomings, Xana turned towards the biggest building, the Guru’s castle and starting a slow pace towards it. She had heard of a murder happening recently that cause the Guru into hiding, so details have Xana curious. Her plans were to find out what exactly has been happening in the cities.
