Duran, Destron Droid (Finished For Realsies!)

Many tales spanning the age-long conflict between the Tuffles and Saiyans have spread throughout the galaxy over the decades. Under the light of the Full Moon, the Saiyans had effectively and effortlessly genocided the Tuffles, ending their era of prosperity and technological marvel. Although, there are always two sides to a story. Alas, much if not all of the Tuffle archives had been lost during that fateful night. Yet nothing could ever truly be wiped out, remnants would always remain.

Duran was one of these remnants.

An oddity among his race, Duran was a crossbreed between Saiyans and Tuffles. Planet Plant's finest scientists hypothesized that breeding their own with a Saiyan could create the ultimate Warrior. The Tuffles' intelligence, combined with the Saiyan's raw might and potential...It was the perfect weapon to combat the Saiyans; Themselves.

Duran was born to two parents he never had the chance to meet. His remarkable Power Level had immediately gotten the attention of Plant's finest Commanders and Military officials. Duran was one of the first of many to be thrown into harsh Military Training from birth, shut out from the rest of the world. Super-soldiers made and bred for war, a desperate effort of Plant's officials to finally put an end to the Saiyan-Tuffle war.

As he grew up, Duran relentlessly studied and trained his way through the grueling Military Program he was forced under. The Tuffle-Saiyan Hybrid quickly outgrew and outbulked most of his species, rapidly gaining power and muscle as he was constantly pushed to his limits and beyond. Indoctrinated with Anti-Saiyan propaganda every single day, Duran quickly learned to despise the Saiyans above all else.

They are Vermin.

They threaten our race.

They MUST be exterminated.

Once Duran reached adulthood, he was approached by Plant's head scientist, who had noticed the Hybrid's immense potential and brutality. He was given the opportunity to be part of an experimental program, one that, if succesful, would surely allow them to win the Saiyan-Tuffle war once and for all. Due to his undying loyalty for Plant, and his hatred for the Saiyans, Duran accepted.

The results were...Horrifying.

A sudden jab from a syringe had sent him into a deep and long slumber. Cruel and inhuman changes were made to the Hybrid, until finally, he was barely recognizable. Duran woke up to the sight of Plant's head scientist, who faced him with his own reflection...

Duran had been turned into a cybernetic monster.

''Congratulations, Duran.'' He was told. ''You are one of the first Destron Droids that Plant will deploy upon the Saiyan Threat. Your core is made entirely of Destron Gas. Along with these cybernetic upgrades, you are stronger than ever before.''

Duran observed his new body in terrifying silence. There was no shock, no anger or fear at seeing what he had become. Gazing down at his hand, he clenched it into a fist. Duran had embraced his new form without any resistance. He would be assigned to the first of many Destron Killsquads, ready to engage on the Saiyan forces at any time.

A few weeks after his transformation, Duran had acclimated completely to his new body and power. Once again, he was approached by Tuffle Scientists. Duran was asked to aid them in several Combat tests for a new batch of Destron Droids. The next generation, if you will. Ones who's cores were more optimized and far surpassed Duran's.

During these combat tests, Duran met Iyokan. One of the more recent Destron Droids. She seemed slimmer, with a more organic design than his. The training was violent, moreso resembling a deathmatch with both sides engaging eachother with relentless brutality. Despite the violence and agression, Duran and Iyokan managed to gain a mutual respect for eachother, and became worthwile companions during their short-lived military lives.

Sadly, this wouldn't last long.

That night had come. That fateful night of the Full Moon. As the Oozarus ran rampant among the Tuffle Capital, Duran was deployed with the sole mission to evacuate as many civilians as possible. Duran had failed in his mission. He, along with his Killsquad and many civilians, had come to perish. Buried under the rubble of the Tuffle Capitol, Duran's ''Corpse'' was left deactivated for eons. The Tuffles had been genocided. Duran had failed.

Centuries passed.
Generations lived and died.
The Saiyans thrived.

Yet through pure coincidence, the Saiyans that took his life, had also managed to save it. The once-ruler Vocado, and the current Queen Kayen, were battling in the midst of the Tuffle ruins. Through some strange sequence of events and pure luck, the rampant energies that Vocado and Kayen unleashed were enough to wake the Android from his slumber. Like jumper cables to a car that simply won't start, the fiery Ki of the Super Saiyans had awakened Duran once again. A chance at revenge had been given to him, to them.

Sensing the immediate danger he was in, Duran moved quickly and efficiently. Maneauvering through the dust and rubble of the once-familiar Capital, Duran set off multiple escape pods carrying the last remnants of Tuffle civilization to be scattered across the galaxy, hopefully returning someday so they could rebuild their lost civilization.

Duran himself had jumped into one of these escape pods, escaping for the first available planet he could think of. He scoured his own person and the rusted pod for anything of use, and found something that could prove the resurgence of his species.

A simple syringe, carrying a lone Tuffle parasite.
The Android grinned coldly under his mask.
Vengeance would soon be theirs.
