Well. This wasn’t what she’d expected.
Vegia sat on one of the comfortable chairs in the reception of this office building. A magazine lay open on her lap, and she kept trying to convince herself to read it, but she kept losing interest to stare, instead, at the interior of the office.
There were a lot of people here, not least of which was the middle-aged woman behind the desk in front of her, regarding her with open scepticism. People moved to and fro, engaged in high-level discussions about subjects which, honestly, completely went over the Royal Guard’s head.
She was sure she heard one person talk about equity and another talk about interest rates. What did those even mean? Were people losing interest in the company? Was there a competitor she should be talking to who would be better placed to hold her attention?
When she had come here, it had been on the back of some vague advice that ‘those science guys’ might be able to help her in her quest to obtain a new space pod. It was something that had come up in every meeting she’d had with her Saiyan brethren so far. If they were going to get back to Vegeta, they needed access to a space craft and a blutz wave generator. Getting back to Vegeta wasn’t a particular priority; it was definitely something that they were going to need to plan and train for a while before attempting, but the blutz wave generator would be helpful in the event that the World Trade Fleet actually caught up to them here.
If they had access to the legendary Oozaru, it would at least give them a fighting chance at holding off some of the lower-level Arcosians they might encounter. Although, honestly, she was still leery about using that power until such a time as she could be sure she and her fellows could control the Great Ape. The last thing they needed was a bunch of Oozaru rampaging across the surface of the planet and making enemies of the people they needed most as allies.
But still. This place was completely unlike anything she had ever experienced before. Finances were important, she understood that in some kind of abstract way. Someone needed to make the money that she got paid, and someone needed to supply the ceremonial armour she wore, the food she ate, and the quarters she slept in. These were truths that she could grasp easily enough, but… was all this really necessary? There wasn’t a single person around here that looked like they could handle themselves in a fight, and that disturbed her.
It wasn’t the first time she’d felt out of place on Earth, but it was a reminder of the vast gulf between their respective people.
Yet again, the young Saiyan woman inadvertently met the eye of the ferocious receptionist, and she stiffened up, diverting her eyes quickly downwards to the magazine spread out before her.
Maybe she should try and learn the ten vital tips needed to maintain proper dental hygiene…

"Excuse me, Mr. Ghoti."
The voice came over Ghoti's pin scouter, who'd been in the break room drinking some black coffee. He tapped the pin, asking, "Yes, Jazzy? What's the situation?"
Jazzy was Jasmine's nickname that he called her every now and again. As far as he knew, she didn't mind the name at all, so he'd call her that every now and again. He wasn't just her boss, after all: He was someone she could talk to!
"There's a young lady here seeking to purchase one of our patented space pods."
"Has she been told that she can buy one online, Jasmine?"
Ghoti took a sip of coffee, as Jasmine explained, "Well, the thing is that she claims to be among the saiyans who were forced to flee Vegeta when the WTF suddenly attacked and is seeking one of our-"
The fish man sprayed out his coffee all over the break room as Jasmine spoke on. Unfortunately, her voice was being covered by the loud spraying coming from Ghoti, so Jasmine stopped speaking for a moment, sending a text message to one of the Janitors on Ghoti's floor to hit the break room. She'd been getting pretty good at that!
"A refugee is seeking out one of our models?! This is wonderful news," Ghoti announced aloud, putting his coffee mug down and sprinting with flailing arms behind him to his office, "Terrible for her planet, but wonderful for her! Please send her up to my office so that we can talk about her situation and what we can do for her and her people!"
"Yes sir."
The line was cut off from there. Ghoti jumped his table and landed in his chair, spinning around on the leather furniture. Meanwhile, Ghoti's assistant Jasmine partly leaned up over her counter, speaking loud enough for the girl to hear, "Excuse me! Miss Vegia? Director Ghoti will be taking care of your business personally. Please head up to the elevator and announce for the system, 'Guest to the 33rd floor for Director Ghoti.' One of his department workers shall direct you upon you going up there."

Ghoti awaits you on floor 33! :D

“Uh. Sure. Talk to the elevator. That’s normal.”
Vegia would much rather have taken the stairs – or, really, have flown up the middle of the stairwell – but, shew as trying to make a good impression. Understand them or not, Humans had been the allies of the Saiyan people for an incredibly long time, and they were likely to hold the key to recovering their people, their planet, and their honour as a species. It was important, therefore, that she didn’t make enemies for no good reason.
She was careful not to bump into anyone as she wove her way through the chattering, distracted businesspeople to the elevator. Being short had its disadvantages, but soon enough she was stepping into the metal box, and trying hard not to feel like this is a trap. Why would people do this to themselves? This was a metal box. It was basically a coffin on a chain. Just learn to fly! Humans were so unnerving, with their desperate efforts to do anything but get stronger.
“Okay. Elevator. Guest to the 33rd floor for Director Ghoti.” She felt incredibly uncomfortable talking to herself, but to her surprise there was a delicate ‘ping’ and the elevator began to slowly rise up. Obnoxious elevator music played for her as she went.
By the time the elevator had crawled its way up the inside of the building, it felt like she had been trapped in there for a century. Maybe this was all part of some elaborate test to ensure that she had the strength of will to stand before their Director. If it was, she had to admit, it was a very impressive trial. She was sure that most Saiyans would have blasted the elevator to smithereens before they even reached the tenth floor.
Her expression was a bit more haggard when the doors finally opened, and she strode forwards, no longer quite as calm or composed as she had been in the waiting room. Tips on dental hygiene? Muzak? Up with this she could no longer put!
Her hand grasped the shirt of the first unfortunate human she saw, and she floated herself up to eye level.
“YOU!” She exclaimed, “Department Worker. Take me to your ‘Director Ghoti’. Immediately.”
She released the front of his shirt afterwards, but the look in her eye suggested that it would not be wise for the unfortunate man to dally for very long.
Well. She had tried to be patient. That counted for something, right? And she didn’t punch his head off!

A lot of time was passing by, Ghoti rolling a stylus back and forth on his table. Normally things wouldn't take so long for Ghoti to get right business. He looked at his digital watch, seeing that it'd been about thirty minutes since that time. The janitor had already gone into the break room, cleaned up the coffee spray, and left to handle another mess elsewhere on the large floor. One of Ghoti's workers came up to his office, asking him, "Sir, I heard were supposed to get a special guest of sorts at the elevator?"
"What th- WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"
"I was wondering if there'd been any changes, so I came to check on you, sir!"
"Get back to work!"
"YESSIR!"
The worker rushed back to the elevator, Ghoti rubbing his fishy forehead. Did something happen that he wasn't aware of? No, he would be! It wasn't as if Jasmine told her the -slow method- to getting up here... Did she?
"Jasmine, the guest hasn't arrived up here yet. What way did you tell them to come up here?"
"The elevator, sir," she responded.
"Good good. Did you tell them to just input the floor numb-"
An angry presence, followed by angry shouting was all he needed to know. He then told her calmly, "Jasmine, please refrain from telling our guests to use the voice commands in the future. It is still in need of being fixed."
"OH! OH MY! I AM SO SORRY, MISTER GHOTI!"
"It's alright. Thank you for sending her up," Ghoti replied, before closing the comms and walking out of his office to meet this annoyed individual. She was throttling the one worker that was supposed to meet and escort her to the fishman, who calmly walked up to her and bowed in an apologetic manner.
He spoke, "Honored guest! I am Director Ghoti. There had been an issue with the vocal command in the elevators that causes them to go at a horribly slower speed than they are supposed to. Please accept this foolish Fish's apology! We are here to help all individuals alike, no matter the situation at hand!"

Vegia could still hear the music in her head. She doubted she would ever be able to get rid of it. Even as Ghoti came up and explained the situation to her, all she could really hear was the terrible music, reverberating in her head like the ghost of the world’s most vengeful conductor. But, no, she had to hold it together. She couldn’t let herself be defeated at the first hurdle!
As she made herself focus on the man in front of her, the girl’s shellshocked brain slowly registered what she was actually looking at, here. He was mostly human-shaped, but, he had a fish.
For a head.
Vegia was no expert on human anatomy, but even she knew that this wasn’t normal. There were animal people, sure, but Ghoti was very clearly a man with a fish for a head. That wasn’t, how could, what?
“You’re a fish.”
She stared blankly at him for an uncomfortable moment after those words left her lips, trying, and failing, to shake the feeling that she might genuinely have been driven insane by the music which brought her up here. It only added to the surreal sense that she was the fish – one thoroughly out of water, gasping and flailing around on the shoreline, trying to find her way back to some sense of normality, and utterly failing.
Nevertheless. She was a Saiyan Elite, one of the proud Royal Guard, and of the Line of Karo! Suddenly, violently, she shook her head as though she were physically throwing off her confusion, and then she planted her feet firmly.
“I mean, of course. No. It is fine. Such a thing is only a small inconvenience, and no trouble at all. There is nothing to feel embarrassed about!”
Her fist slammed suddenly into her palm, and she bowed before the Director, as though the fact that he was a fish were entirely irrelevant, even though the only thing now running through her head was the desperate desire not to say that he was a fish, again. She was pretty confident that such a thing would be a terrible faux pas.
“Thank you very much for agreeing to see me in person, Mr. Ghoti.” She said, hurriedly. “I am sure that our relationship from here on our will go swimmingly. There are many schools of thought about Human-Saiyan relations, but I am confident that we can scale any obstacles that might get in our way and cod make a beautiful … space … boat. To help my people.”
There. She totally got away with it.

The girl was flabbergasted by Ghoti's appearance. She stated that he was a fish, the fishman replying, "Only partially a fish, Miss!"
The fish man raised his head, looking at her pound a fist into her palm and bow as well. It looked like something from the Eastern Lands' famous monk temples. Was she actually a refugee or was she someone claiming to be? He would have to investigate this.
"Indeed," Ghoti replied, not having missed the puns she was tossing in and giving her a smile as he continued, "You may want to work on your puns, Miss! It is better when they snap into place in such a way that they don't realize! But yes, a galley for the stars to work with! Let's head to the quarters of this captain of the CURE."
At the saiyan girl's behest, the two would head to Ghoti's office. The curtains were raised, showing a data library case of all sorts of things, a rug floor, a doormat that would scrub the dirt and grime instantly with a step on it (along with absorbing any sort of liquids), and a slick walnut table well polished and cared for. On it, it showed how Ghoti's name was spelt on a bronze plaque, despite how the name was was said, a desk lamp, a photo of Ghoti himself with CEO Tanga, Bakura, and the other directors for last year's group photo. On top of this, also had a dozen files on the table to the side and there'd been two chairs, both very comfortable looking alone!
"Please have a seat and tell me what happened, Miss... My apologies," Ghoti spoke, bowing once more, "This entire time, I forgot to ask for your name, Honored Guest!"
The fish returns some puns in return! They would not go amiss.

“Puns?”
Vegia looked a little baffled by the response, but she didn’t question it. Of all the things that made no sense today, that was one of the ones she could afford to worry about less. Instead, she allowed herself to be led along to Ghoti’s office, and tried not to feel completely ill at ease in the sedate office surroundings. She was used to a much louder working environment; one with a certain level of underlaying physical violence on top of the comradery. There was none of that here.
“I am Vegia, of the line of Karo.” The girl stated as she slid into the chair offered by her host. The comfortable seat bounced under her as she settled herself in place. Her feet did, at least, reach the floor – which was good. She hated it when her legs dangled, it made her feel like a child.
“What happened…”
Again, she finds herself repeating the Director. The elevator music that had remained so insistently lodged in her head was suddenly cut through with screaming, with the sounds of dying people, her friends, her family, the Palace burning. Horror. Death. Pain.
~This is not your fight, girl~
The girl’s eyes had looked distant for a moment there; the thousand-yard stare of the deeply traumatised. She pushed it all down. Repressing those emotions was the only way she had to deal with them right now. She couldn’t let herself be swept up by them, or she might break down completely. The hurt ran deep, and she needed time to come to terms with it; to let that raw emotion scar over into something she could carry with her.
“The Arcosians were just a story you told little kids to keep them in line.” She said, “Be good, or the lizards will come and eat you up. That sort of thing. Nobody really thought that we had to worry about them any more; we broke the back of their Empire hundreds of years ago. We pushed them to the edge of the Galaxy and made sure that they knew who was really in charge.”
A thin, bitter smile spread across her face, and she looked down at the desk. It was easier than looking at Ghoti directly – there was something unnerving about opening up to a fish-headed man. As though the past few days hadn’t been surreal enough already, now she was explaining the failures of her people to sushi.
“Turns out, we should have finished the job. They didn’t forget, and they are not a forgiving people. They hit us hard. Must have taken out the Blutz Wave generators in the first salvos I guess. Probably had people on the inside, agents telling them our force disposition and soft targets. So. Vegeta fell.”
Her gaze lifted to Ghoti, then, and there was none of the distant pain in those dark eyes now – just hard, steely resolve. Her voice was tight and clipped, her expression truly ferocious.
“It won’t end there. Earth has been our ally for as long as there has been a Saiyan Kingdom. The World Trade Fleet will come. We must be ready.”

Vegia was her name, and much like those of prestige, she had recited her family name. It appeared that she was an elite of sorts, or at least proud of her lineage. With Ghoti's question, though, and a mutter, her stare became long as she thought about it. Ghoti spoke up, telling her, "The experience was undoubtedly traumatic, so only speak what you're comfortable with."
Much like Earth children, this young girl spoke about Arcosians like Earth's infamous Boogeyman, the race of people which comprised part of what Ghoti had been reasonably terrifying! The attacks came fast, during a day when the moon wasn't present. Their blutz machines were eliminated first so that the attack went smoothly. It was an intelligent decision! One to lead to Vegeta's fall.
She then reasoned that the Earth had to be prepared against the World Trade Fleet. Ghoti hummed in agreement, leaning back in his chair as he stated, "So that which you have in mind are Blutz Generator attachments for basic pods It is quite understandable that you'd want this technology, and we can most certainly provide this to you..!"
His index finger shot into the air, immediately asking after his previous statement, "However, we do have protocols that we must account for, should our product be used in assistance against this incoming attack! For one, as you may be aware of, the Planet Earth is known for having saiyans as well, and while those of Vegeta are more than likely to be trained to handle the widely spoken, 'Great Ape,' form, those Saiyans of Earth except those of Fukurou Forest are not so likely to be trained in this. Thus, protocol number 1 is that, if the World Trade Fleet comes in great number to Earth and you go to engage, you must lure these people away from the cities to areas where the saiyan people among Earth's city populace will not transform into them! Protocol number 2, which is just as important, if not superseding the importance of Protocol number 1: You and those comrades with you must be able to control the Oozaru state before the time comes of this attack, should you be on Earth! It is also important to note that if you are to use any CURE product that endangers the population intentionally or not, you will be reprimanded with the device being destroyed on the spot and you will be sent of the Plutonian jail at the end of the Solar System! Do you have any questions thus far?"
This was part of the legal obligations that Ghoti was clarifying to her. If she understood them, it would allow Ghoti to get to the special pricing of these pods with the Blutz generators attached to them, due to them being refugees... Warriors still, but also refugees!
The Business Fish understands your plight, but is clarifying the matters that comes with misusing any CURE product that endangers the population.

Vegia tried hard to contain her excitement, and for the most part, it worked. The fact that the fish-man could create the technology she needed was good, and it wasn’t too surprising that he’d have his own stipulations to put upon their use. There was a difficulty there, though. Namely, the implication that there would be a back door which would allow the corporation to destroy the pod in the event of an emergency. She didn’t like that idea. She could understand the logic, but any back door like that could be exploited by the World Trade Fleet. What if an Arcosian threatened Ghoti’s life in exchange for the destruction of the pod? She doubted that the man would prioritise the Saiyan’s lives over his own.
“It isn’t an easy thing, to control the Great Ape.” She said, slowly. “But, I have no intention of unleashing uncontrolled Oozaru upon the surface of the planet. You have my word that we will ensure that all of the Saiyans who might be effected are either trained sufficiently… or have their tails removed before the generator is activated anywhere that it might cause collateral damage.”
That was a promise she wasn’t entirely sure she was empowered to make. Removing a Saiyan’s tail was a gross violation, and one which she wouldn’t want to inflict lightly. It was far more likely that the generator would simply not be activated.
“As for protecting the population centres of Earth… I am a Royal Guard.”
She said the words as though this should answer his question. When she realised that it didn’t, she continued.
“I have sworn an oath to protect the Royal Family, uphold our laws, and defend our people. Your people and mine are in alliance, so I consider those oaths to apply to your people as well. I would never do anything to endanger your cities. If it is in my power, any fighting will take place in the wilderness.”
She paused for a moment before she continued.
“That said, if it isn’t possible, if the World Trade Fools insist on fighting in your cities… it might be that the only way to save more lives is to risk the Oozaru in a public place. I won’t let hundreds of thousands die because I promised I’d hold myself back. Is that acceptable?”
There wasn’t any room for negotiation on that point. If she gave her word, she would be bound by it; she could not promise to bind herself to an action that would let innocent people die, even if it meant that she had to take action that risked innocent death itself. That was the burden of being one of the Elite. She had the power, it was her responsibility to know when to use it, and judge it fairly.

"It is pleasant to hear you are willing to give your word," Ghoti replied to the heartful Vegia, his expression deadpan focused as he then explained, "In order to be sure your word is true, we can have a representative of CURE Industries oversee and evaluate the progress of your training. However, while you also make a good point that the World Trade Fleet can fight in our cities, it also an easy evaluation that you can engage them before they enter the cities. Thus the protocols are to still be present, but do not think that I am not aware of the issue of smaller targets..."
Ghoti paused, pounding his chest as he declared with a his fishy smile, "I already have a plan to make these surgical counter maneuvers! We individuals of CURE have a handful of abilities and ideas that are always progressing the evolution of life itself. Observe my hand as I grab a digipad of photos of my beloved employees from the shelf over there from my desk!"
He pointed the shelf to Vegia before what was clearly his arm stretched to the shelf, his hand barely reaching the digipad before it snapped back into place. Ghoti put the pad down facing to Vegia, which showed several employees in Ghoti's department, one of which Vegia herself had beaten up before coming in here! He resumed explaining, "As it is apparent with my lavish self, many of CURE's employees are also modified individuals in some manner who've willingly undergone these changes to our bodies to continue living when nature felt we should pass on. Some of these employees are actually within our security detail and, should there be a grave danger of these forces or anything else in the cities of Earth, we most certainly can react to it. We have many new products also in development to help protect citizens in their everyday lives, if you are willing to spend some cash on that extra insurance."
Ghoti put the digipad face down on the table, as he then questioned, "In these desperate times, while war is on the horizon, we have to be sure the people can maintain a livelihood, too, Miss Vegia. If we were to supply this, what would you pay us in return?"
The price negotiation has begun..! What is Vegia willing to give to Ghoti and CURE Industries?

“If we could have stopped the Arcosians going where they wanted, do you think we would have let them burn down the Palace?”
It was a bitter thing to say, but it was very true. The idea that they would definitely be able to pick their battles was, unfortunately, flawed in the extreme. She fully expected that the Arcosians would begin assaulting major cities in an attempt to draw the Saiyans out – and it might even work. She didn’t relish the idea of allowing them to run roughshod over another world. The problem was, depending on the numbers they came in, it might just be suicide to try and stop them. If she took a step back and tried to look at things logically, sensibly, well…
The more she thought about it, the more she worried she was already committing to things she couldn’t necessarily achieve. Her primary, personal objective had to be the safety of Vocado – without the Prince, all hope was lost. So, could she really promise to take on the Arcosians no matter where they were and try to draw them out to less damaging locations? They’d probably obliterate her the instant she showed herself.
“And are you saying that my word isn’t good enough? You want to send someone to watch us train? Tch.” Her jaw clenched, eyes narrowing as she considered the fishman. “Just say what you really want. You’ll send someone to watch us because you want to see if you can learn something from it, right?”
The talk of modifications and people who had been changed by CURE’s programs only solidified that impression in Vegia’s mind. She was sure that any kind of company with the ability to do that would pay a fortune to be able to take some of the Saiyan’s natural advantages and give them to other people. A world where Humans had access to the Saiyan’s legendary Oozaru or Zenkai would be a very different world indeed. She couldn’t blame them. Humans really drew the short straw when it came to genetic heritage; who wouldn’t want to be more like a Saiyan if they had the chance?
“I guess it is good that you have forces who will help defend your planet.” She said, “I don’t know if the Arcosians will be expecting that. They knew pretty much what to prepare for when they attacked us, so the element of surprise might… buy you some time.”
She still didn’t imagine that an army of fishmen was going to slow the damned lizards down for long, but it had to be better than nothing, didn’t it?
“As for what we can give you… well, for a start, there’s the opportunity to watch us train. That’s worth something. When I’m sure I can personally control the Oozaru, I’ll even transform under laboratory conditions for you so you can get whatever data you need there.” That was an easy offer to make; transforming didn’t cost her anything, but she was assuming it was valuable to these guys.
“Until we get out planet back, we don’t have a lot to offer, though.” She admitted, “I’ve got a few thousand zeni on my universal card. I’ll have tens of thousands more when the planet is taken back and my family’s belongings pass to me. How much does a pod like this cost?”

Vegia seemed to be untrusting Ghoti, feeling hurt that her word alone wasn't something that he could rely on. This was how official business had been! Even with war on the horizon, there had been protocols that had to be followed and this was such a thing! She figured that the saiyans didn't have DNA collected and the fishman was simply sending someone there to collect a sample. However, she was impressed about CURE having available people to fight against and she believed that the representative going to watch the training was something that would work, but then she offered undergoing the transformation in a controlled setting so that they can collect data on it!
"Miss Vegia," Ghoti spoke up with a smile as he looked to her, "The offer for you show us the Oozaru form doesn't just benefit us, but it also benefits your people and those saiyans all around Earth already! The data would also enable us to easier produce the pods you so desire. This satisfies the protocols I have mentioned. This is a good business transaction!"
The data of the Oozaru form was certainly something that CEO Tanga could work with, as well as the other scientists CURE has. Even their newest worker, Miss Nikel, would find this data worthwhile! Ghoti clarified to Miss Vegia, "As we speak, there should be a contract being constructed, with the funds being gathered to ascertain that the spacepod and generator is able to be constructed once our people are able to surmise enough data for yourself, your people, and ourselves to work with. Do you find this acceptable?"
Fish is not so bad a person to take one's heirlooms for payment! Data is good, for it generates a much more stable reservoir of cash! :D

“Uh… sure…”
Vegia followed maybe one word in ten that Ghoti had just used, but she thought that she got the general gist. He liked her idea? It really seemed like the least she could do to her, which made her more worried. Maybe she was giving away more than she thought, here; maybe she should have put some stipulations on the purpose to which the data was to be put.
On the other hand, it seemed like the fishman was a decent enough sort, really. She didn’t fully understand his motivations, but he talked a lot about defending the earth and keeping fighting away from people who couldn’t defend themselves. Those were sentiments that she could agree with, even if this business stuff was way over her head.
She leaned across the desk, then, to offer her hand.
“So, we’ve got a deal, right?” She clarified, just in case there was any room for further confusion. She sure didn’t feel like she knew exactly what ‘surmise enough data’ actually meant in this context, but it sounded like work was beginning and that was something that she could get behind.
“I’ll look forward to telling the Prince. He’ll be glad to hear that we’ve got another ally in our fight.”

"Very good! Let me get the paperwork to sign from the front door."
Ghoti shook Vegia's hand before going over to the door to his office. Upon opening it, one of the department workers was there with the documentation all prim and ready for signing! Ghoti thanked him before the door closed again. He walked back over and put the document down, clarifying, "Within this office, there are recording devices hooked up to a computer that takes notes that we make use of to create accurate documentation that allows us to acknowledge any sort of dealings going on, with fillable areas should a schedule be implied, which in this case applies to your sessions with our scientific research department. Feel free to look over the document and correct anything that may be off, which rarely happens! If you've further questions or requests, we can have this be updated to the liking of both yourself and us here at CURE!"
On the documentation, it was clear that the mention of this, 'Prince,' was there, with the words, 'I, the Prince, acknowledge and approve of these terms listed.' It also repeated this for the CURE representative, which of course was Ghoti, and for Vegia too. It may have been possible that the inclusion of the Prince in this documentation, which covered what was discussed with the promise of a fillable number of (with a cap of five) space pods with Blutz Wave attachments should the sent Inspector assigned by the Representative approve of the teaching of the saiyans. It also noted the Plutonian Jail for Vegia and her cohorts, should the CURE space pods and Blutz Wave Generators be misused, along with the immediate destruction of the pods. In addition to all of this, the research department's future findings were noted on there to be shared with not just with Vegia, her people, and CURE, but also to the Global Institution of Health and Research, who provided much of the World's knowledge about diseases, races, and so forth!
"I will not lie, it is a bit much, but this is all for good in the end, Miss Vegia," Ghoti assured Vegia, wanting it to make it clear for the young girl! He didn't seem to be aware the Prince was on there, as if he was expecting the documentation to be already in the best possible state.
Lotsa notes and stuff being comprised into the document!

It took Vegia some time to read over the paperwork. She was not the fastest reader in the world, and she was determined not to miss anything out – on the other hand, everything seemed broadly in line with what they’d talked about. She still wasn’t sure she liked the idea that CURE would have a failsafe built-in, but… what else could she do but accede to that? Even if they told her that they’d taken it out, it wasn’t like she had any way of knowing for sure, and they’d be foolish to leave them with such potent potential weapons without having some kind of control.
“I … think this all seems mostly okay?” She said, at last. “Only, I’m not the Prince. I’m just a Royal Guard. If you fix that up, I’ll happily sign it. Especially for five pods!”
She’d only been expecting to get one, but potentially having five from CURE alone? That would be enough to give them a good amount of redundancy in case something happened to the first one! She was sure that the World Trade Fools would have a lot more difficulty dealing with them if they couldn’t take all the Blutz Generators out before the fighting started…
