It was not an exaggeration in the title of 'Endless Meadow' - the sprawling pristine expanse of green grass stretched as far as the eye could see - the monotony broken by winding paths and the vibrant pallet of flowers which were always in full bloom. And it served as one of few places that Paige could consider 'relaxing' in the Upper World, for a Kai such as herself. The Greater Shinjin often enjoyed smaller planetoids or domains upon the World Core that they could shape and mold to how they saw fit - and Paige was without such a place.
The tranquil meadow fulfilled her desire for such a place to spend her free time - as scarce as it had been. In fact, her time spent here 'today' was near half the total time she had spent in the meadow over her eighteen years of existence. That is mostly attributed to her acceptance of Hangan's offer - a 'Personal Kai', though as of yet it definitely didn't feel like it. He hadn't had her do much, and in fact had advised her to do less for the time being. Something about getting time to herself before she embarked on her mission to the mortal realms.
Over time she had started to carve a 'spot' within the meadow, an area near the center which most trails collided with - the faux center that many eventually crossed paths with. It was there where she had been trying her hand at cultivating a... 'personalized' small little place. It was rather small, currently. Mostly made up of a series of benches and a small pond with a spout gushing water gently from the center. Illusions of butterflies, a trick passed on to her from Hangan, fluttered about the area - complex enough to touch and feel... yet fake nonetheless.
Paige sat back on her haunches, head tilted upwards and eyes closed as she basked in the everlasting 'sunlight' from above. She had been shaping the ground around her, shifting some flowers back in favor of short, cropped grass and few different sets of flowers. It was a small, unimportant affair - but it... brought her some semblance of happiness. And, with luck, it could bring some joy to the denizens of Heaven as well.
Well, for whoever decided to come by. The meadows weren't all the populated... ever, really. Even when the Otherworld was filled quite full - not many souls visited. It was a tad discouraging, but it meant that she could selfishly enjoy more time to herself without having to worry about commands or working. Paige stood, adjusting her red scarf to sit neatly around her neck, and placed her hands on her hips. Perhaps today might be the day that someone would come by!
Anything to distract her from what was to come in the very, very near future would be a welcome side task indeed.
