Planetoid 2,159,763 was one of the closest, distance wise, to that of the fabled abode belonging to King Kai. The famous training spot was visible from this place - mostly called 'King's Watch' - through the use of sight enhancing magics attached to a scope. Visible didn't mean good quality, though, and despite this King's Watch was an extremely popular place for bored souls to wander to. Paige had decided to return to the Upper Worlds temporarily, events in the mortal planet of Earth convincing her to postpone her travels until after they were sorted out. Hangan was understanding, but she hated delaying the journey regardless.
So here she was, twice as strong as before and with a purple headband hidden beneath the locks of her hair. An involuntary shiver crept down her figure as she landed upon the small sphereoid, never having come this close to an actual Supreme Kai before. It was a tad silly, given that it wasn't forbidden and it wasn't as if King Kai had a grudge with King's Watch... that she knew of. Paige was only capable of gleaning his behavior and attitude off anecdotes and rumors, after all.
Latest of which purportedly had on good faith that the Shinjin had taken on a new student, some sort of brave soul who had perished on Earth. She didn't necessarily believe or not believe in the rumor, coming to the currently empty planet to catch a break more than anything else. Kai themselves almost never set foot on it, given they either wished to not waste their time staring at King Kai's planet when they could either go there themselves or just... ignore it in favor of doing... stuff. Grapes and golf had both picked up in popularity, last she heard.
Paige had re-donned her baggy clothing since she had left Hell, feeling a bit more comfortable covered up and back on her home turf. Her aura flared experimentally, the crispness and sharpness of the faint blue feeling and looking slightly more defined compared to previously. Her strength had grown due to her training with the Duke, but not to a great extent. Paige sighed quietly, traipsing over to a bench and taking a seat, leaning back against the faux wood and spreading her arms across it. Perhaps today would be a boring one.

Typha had been looking for a good place to train when not at King Kai's but not close enough to get to the Arena. He didn't want to have to hop from place to place all the time. Snake Way was a long away from everywhere else. At least what he assumed. He heard of a planet that was close and known as a training ground from a few other ogres when he returned to ogre town after a brutal session with King Kai. It would be a good place he could use to train when not with the Kai. So he decided to check the planet out and see what he could find. Being in the afterlife he had to make his whole focus getting as strong as possible before returning to the living world. When he arrived he could sense a small powerlevel nearby. <200> was not a lot but it was strong enough where he decided to at least check it out. He'd walked over and saw a Shinjin woman sitting on a bench. He'd walk over and wave. "Hello, I am Typha of Konats. May I sit." He'd gesture to the bench. He didn't want to disturb her if she was relaxing afterall.

It wasn't long before something had prickled the Shinjin's senses, the vague prick of a Power Level encroaching on her psyche as Paige's eyes fluttered open, body shifting but remaining seated as the source of it approached the small planet. The Kai stayed silent at first, a singly eye focused on the approaching soul as she shut her other, one leg crossing over the other. They looked a bit like a... Namekian or Shinjin, given the body type and ears - but they were clearly dead and sporting some strange features neither race would have.
She returned the wave, stretching her arms up in the air. "Hello, Typha. My name is Paige - please, fell free to take a seat." Scooting over to leave an ample amount of room, she patted it twice to signal it was open to him. "It's not often I see somebody out on this little piece of rock, let alone one as powerful as yourself. What brings you out here, Typha of... Konats, was it?"
It was a safe bet to say that Konats was the place of the man's origins, though Paige was entirely unfamiliar with it or with his species in general, it seemed. "I've never heard of Konats before. Would you mind telling me about it?"

She seemed nice enough to let him sit down which was good. Typha looked over at Paige as she asked what he was doing here. Guess that was a fair question he didn't sense many other people around here. " Well, I heard this planet may be a good place to train that is close to King Kai's world. I can't be flying back from Ogretown to King Kai's world all the time it takes too long." At this point with how so many people knew he was training under King Kai by just saying his name he didn't bother to mention it, he just assumed Paige knew that. As for the part about Konats he'd nodded. "Yes, it is a pretty far planet. It does not have the same importance as other planets and is isolated. Formally it was from the South Galaxy but it was moved to North Galaxy. It is a desert planet and home to the Konatsian. Were warriors and magicians at heart. When I was alive I was the third in line to the throne of the planet. Anything else you want to know?"

"King Kai?" A startled undertone coursed through the Shinjin's words, Paige focusing a bit more intensely on the Konatsian before her. So this was the apprentice Upper World was gossiping about... strong, if nothing else. The Kai was yet to become a 'good' judge of character given her less than stellar social skills, so perhaps clumsily navigating her way around a conversation would be the best way to go about it. ...Probably. "I had heard that a new student was taken under his wing, but I never thought I'd be meeting them in person..." She trailed off, standing for a moment to give a short bow.
"It is my honor to be in the vicinity of one deemed righteous enough for the undertaking, Typha." Third in line to the throne? That meant, in mortal terms, he was also 'royalty'. "Or... would you prefer Prince or King Typha?" Paige amended hastily, not wishing to insult the Konatsian before her. "Well... anything specific that you find interesting or 'cool' about your home planet, if you don't mind. I'm planning on taking a trip to the mortal realms soon, and any knowledge I can get beforehand would be most appreciated."

Guess she figured it out. "You don't need to be so modest. I am no one special King Kai just decided to train me nothing more." Typha rubbed the back of his head. He didn't wanna try to sound like he took it for granted nor did he want to rub it in. He was unsure how to say it so he supposed how he was saying it now was good enough. When she mentioned what to call him. "Typha is fine. I was never a King and while I was a prince I suppose being dead I've lost that title." When Paige she was going to the living world and wanted information just in general about his home planet. "I suppose thier is more I can add. The planet was home to the Kashvarr a race who performed dark arts. What left of their knowledge is in the destoyed castle way in the desert. I'm sure someone like yourself would find something useful there and also books that probably should be taken so no one finds them and use them for evil." He assumed Paige would not use them for evil, afterall from what he knew all Shinjins were pure beings.

"I... well, alright then. Far be it from me to contradict your own opinion on the whole subject." The Konatsian was an interesting soul, to say the least. A humble being, one with an obvious level of skill if he was currently being instructed by King Kai himself. Regardless, the Shinjin made sure to stay attentive and engaged out of both genuine curiosity and courtesy as Typha spoke of his home. His direction and wording took her a bit off guard, the Kai straightening as she pondered what had just been said.
Was it such a safe idea to trust a stranger with sensitive information? Well... to be fair, she was a Shinjin and if she had been rotten fruit, she'd have been cast into the Demon Realm long ago. An evil, dark magic mumbo-jumbo book, though? It seemed almost comically cliche, but the threat and worry behind the Konatsian's voice was real as far as she could tell. "Ah... tis' a large wealth of information to be so gracious to bestow unto me, Typha. You have my word that if... er, when, I make my way to Konats that such information and knowledge shan't be used for nefarious purposes."

"I just don't want to sound arrogant. I'm not one special." Typha looked over at Paige. He supposed saying you were not special was its own form of arrogance. "I'm not bestowing it. It's not mine to give. Though those who made them and owned them are long dead to my knowledge. Not many people go around there and those who do I suppose have evil intentions. Yet you're a Kai. All the Kai's I've met so far have been very wonderful people. I doubt any of you would want to use your knowledge and power for evil." Typha rubbed his head unsure what else to add. Then a question came to mind. "So I know this may be rude of me to ask. But how did this all start, I mean the otherworld. It like its own world with the Shinjin and Ogre's living here while everyone else is dead. How could this all exist? It really is a lot to wrap my head around."

"As you say." Paige reassured, twirling a stray lock of hair in her finger. She wished not to challenge Typha's views at all - given that, in all likelihood, the Konatsian was correct about whatever he was currently speaking about. Though not well versed on many types of magics, the tomes and knowledge that these renegade wizards seemed to possess were dangerous - to say the very least. Paige sighed lightly, bowing her head slightly to reciprocate the respect being shown to her. "Certainly, the Shinjin who are still in the Upper Worlds will all be 'not-malicious' at the very worse, given the nature of those who show signs of malpractice early on..."
The lesser Kai paused, tapping a finger to her lip and ceasing the train of thought. "Though, I'm afraid I may be one of the more incompetent of our kind to be asking to partake in this journey. Weak and clueless... that'd be I. Not that your request is being denied now, no, but rather I'd like to let you know that there are potentially better people to ask." The smile that stretched over her face was anything but happy.
"Ah, you want to learn more about the Afterlife?" Paige latched onto the topic change, brushing aside her words in an instant. "Well... 'Otherworld' has existed in tilted balance. The mortal realms are always the more chaotic and random of the bunch - while the areas around here serve more as retention areas for souls to eventually be either revived or recycled to begin life anew. The Ogres are the more 'hands on' attendants of the Afterlife - helping it run smoothly and ensuring the souls aren't lost or tormented, while the Kai watch over the entire duality of the realms as a whole. This ensures balance and the stability of reality itself, to an extent."

"Still huh?" Typha nodded as Paige spoke about Shinjin and their nature. Guess there could be some rotten apples on that tree. Not all of them were pure warriors though as she said those who were not around it seemed. That was a good sign. When she made clear she may not have been the best for the job he waved his hand. "Maybe that is true but I need someone to see my brother anyway. If you're already planning to go down of course. I don't want to force anything upon you. It just if your already thinking of heading to the living realm heading to Konats would be something I'd appreciate." Typha tipped his head, she could do whatever she wanted.
As for his intrest in the afterlife, it seemed she'd be willing to enlighten him. This place was in balance instead of chaos like the mortal realm. It was meant to be where souls returned or were eventually recycled. Guess that why he didn't see anyone, they were all gone. Guess he'd really needed to get revived, he'd rather not turn into some new person, not with so much to do. Though he guessed being under King Kai would keep him safe from that. The ogres were the attendants and the Kai's watched over everything. He'd rubbed his chin. "So that means King Yemma is not the top guy. Just the head of the Ogre's. I didn't realize that." Sure he knew Shinjin existed but he didn't image one would have more control then the King of the dead.

"Still." Paige confirmed, nodding. "As for your request, I would be more than happy to see it through. I just wanted to give you adequate forewarning into my skills before you 'put all your eggs in one basket', so to speak. I'd just need a name and general description, and when I happen across him on my journeys or when I go to Konats itself I shall do my best to fulfill your request." Perhaps such words would assuage the Konatsian spirit. Paige had firsthand experiences with some souls that got volatile under certain circumstances, but it was relatively safe considering Typha was with King Kai himself, after all.
Typha mulled over her words for a bit, the Shinjin staying silent as she waited patiently for him to speak again. "Yes..." Despite being the truth, Paige was still hesitant to question King Yemma's authority to any great extent. The Supreme Kais had that level of respect - not some insignificant, young Shinjin like herself. "King Yemma is the de facto 'ruler' of the Ogres, as well as the Judge of the dead. The 'head honcho' bureaucrat, if you will. My kind leave the sorting and organization of new souls to him - sending righteous ones to Heaven, and unimportant or evil ones to Hell. His endless dedication and devotion is highly admirable."
Better safe than sorry when it came to incurring the Ogre's wrath. Having only heard stories about the dreaded Yemma Lock, she had no wish to see it enacted in person. Idly twisting a strand of hair in one finger, Paige pondered what to say next. "Have you any more questions regarding the Afterlife, or has your curiosity been abated - at least for now. Feel free to ask any openly if you do, I don't mind."

"You seem skilled enough from a glance. If I could not trust you or I saw you could not do it I'd ask you not too. Don't need anyone to mess anything up now." Typha, let off a smile. "As for a name my brother is Prince Riis. He'd my oldest brother and he's the one who needs to know." Typha bowed his head, hopefully, he would understand why he had let his life be lost. To protect Namek and its dragonballs was nearly as important as Konats. Plus he had to do whatever he could to help the poor soul in Yogu. As for his earlier question she explained while sure they may e the top dogs King yemma ran things. To him, that made him the boss afterall figureheads amounted to little if they did nothing. Not that he'd voice that he was just curious of the inner working of heaven. He gave his chin a bit more of a rub. "I think you answered mostly everything that I'd like to know. Though I suppose there is a lot more I could ask though I'd doubt you'd want to give a history lesson on everything that has gone down here to lead to where we stand now." Typha gave a light chuckle.

"Alright." Paige said softly, appreciative of the encouragement the Konatsian was giving her. "Prince Riis." She echoed, nodding. "I'll keep an eye open for him. I will probably be going to 'Earth' firstly, but afterwards Namek seems to be the suggested destination." Stretching, the Shinjin paced around a bit - the size of the planet causing her to dip up and down on the curvature. "Now that that's done... you said you come here to train. In your off time? I had assumed King Kai would keep you rather preoccupied with that."
"N-not that I'm implying he gives bad lessons or anything, er, it just seems a bit odd for your to continue when not with him. Though I suppose you don't really feel fatigue as a soul." Shrugging, Paige glanced at Typha. "If you wanted to train I could do it with you. Forewarning, though, if you couldn't already detect my Power Level - I am not particularly strong." If the Konatsian accepted her proposal, Paige would once again shed her outer layer of baggy robes - folding them neatly to reveal her pitch black bodysuit. Odd attire for a Kai, but with her training sessions with a certain Super Saiyan in Hell, she grew used to wearing them around.

"Alright, that is fine." She was busy afterall even if it took a month to get his message he doubts much would move on Konats. There were many more planets that were filled with actions and had reason to fear an attack. Earth, Vegeta, Namek, and Arosce all had bigger pieces in the galactic stage compared to his home. Regardless if she did get there before he was reborn that would be for the best. He'd rather not explain to his brother he actually died, he'd leave that to someone else if he was granted such a choice. "Yes King Kai has been training me but it is a bit odd If I must say," Typha said with a frown as he thought of all the odd ways King Kai had tested him. Guess it was a testament to his skills that could teach in such an odd manner.
"It is just that I have a lot of free time. Great as he is sometimes they are days we go without training. I don't want to get rusty or waste a single moment. Any time I could be brought back to life or be called to protect my people even from the grave. I don't want to waste the time I have however short it may be." Typha bowed his head. "As for Fatigue I thought I could not but King Kai training, I think it would make anyone exhausted." As for her offering of training, he'd bowed his head. "Only if your willing I can't say I really know how to hold back my Ki. I can pull my punches but I'm unsure if that will help all that much." It was not to be rude of course but he knew Paige was far weaker then himself he didn't want to badly hurt her on accident.

"...Point taken. My apologies, I have already grown used to somebody being able to freely 'set' their Power at appropriate levels for training. Perhaps, then, not sparring but something a bit more abstract? Stances or Techniques, things of that ilk. I... will need to gather my strength for the future, as much as I wish I don't have to." After all, she'd be a fool to not even try and get secondhand training from a student of King Kai. Kalabas was very helpful, but the caveat with him being that the Saiyan was in Hell, not Heaven.
"Though, if you'd rather not, I understand. I'm sure you have better ways of spending your time than training weaklings such as I." Despite how it may seem, the words were genuine - not meant to incite guilt or pity from Typha. If he were to deny her, Paige would accept it without pausing for even a moment and move on to find her next opportunity. Such was how she lived. "I do have to say, though, that this planetoid is rather empty. You'd think there would be more people out and about here... though it has been a long, long time before Heaven has ever had a large amount of residents. Mostly us Shinjin and a few Ogres here and there..."
