So far getting a read on who was and was not worth keeping around on Raiti was going pretty well, soon enough Kayen would make the announcement and then after that it would just be a matter of waiting to see who would be stupid enough to try to reject her reclaiming her position and then promptly killing them.

Kayen was on her way to another meeting when her scouter lit up, first with the device picking up a massive power surge, and then promptly followed by Barb letting her know that there had been a huge crash outside the city, some massive potentially Fleet flagship had hit the asteroid. The possibility of it being a Fleet ship was VERY interesting, perhaps Chill had finally pissed off the wrong person in the wrong place and now his ship was ruined.

Kayen could hardly pass up this opportunity and took off to check out the crash herself, once she was in the air it was VER easy to tell where she needed to go as the smoke from the crash was visible from a long ways away, more importantly she could feel a familiar power signature near the crash. Kraktus, the squid faced madman had apparently been on the ship, perhaps it was even his considering from what Kayen knew he had elevated himself quite far in the Fleets ranks.

“Looks like someone’s having a pretty shit day” Kayen said as she approached smirking at Kraktus as she crossed har arms over her chest, he’d grown quite strong since the last time she had seen him, still not a threat but there was always a chance he like so many others had achieved a new state of power, still though if this was his base strength she doubted it was anything more threatening than Mollusc.

Kayen smirked as it became clear as she approached that Kraktus’ scouter had picked up her arrival, she saw his sudden shift in demeanor as the device lit up only to wheel around to be faced with her. The squid faced warrior was just as she expected not seemingly particularly pleased by her arrival “Bad week or month, whatever” Kayen cut in briefly as Kraktus clarified that his ‘day’ was not bad and that this was apparently a long term problem for him, as far as she saw it while the damage had not been recent it was clearly still a pretty shit day for him since his ship was still a wreck.

But any other comments she had about THAT were on pause as Kraktus explained the situation that had lead to this, Sensoa, at first mention of the demon dog Kayen had expected Kraktus to reveal that Sensoa had done it himself and she was prepared to make a snide comment, until Kraktus revealed that apparently Sensoa had attacked Earth and was apparently fighting the President.

Kayen would, for the moment, remain externally unconcerned by the news. She reached to her scouter only to remember that the idiot did not HAVE a scouter, even Barban lacked one and it was in that moment she REALLY wished she had made the Demon grab one, especially after his whole ‘I hate Earth, they dont get me’ thing from a while ago.

She had figured that he’d take to her ‘fuckem you dont need Earth’ rather than go off and be a complete moron by poking the galaxy’s beehive. At the very least she had the benefit that Sensoa was unlikely to declare himself as warrior of her Kingdom while doing whatever idiocy he was up to but this was VERY bad if true.

Of course that relied on it being true and not some sort of crazy plan by Kraktus, the Zoonamite seemed to thrive on chaos, as well it could just as easily be a lie to get her to leave for Earth as soon as possible rather than perhaps putting Fateburn through his head.

But there was just as good a chance Sensoa really HAD been a complete idiot and launched an attack on Earth. “So what happened, someone kick your ass so bad it sent you and your ship crashing here?” Kayen questioned and while she kept her expression neutral her tone held an edge from her frustration and fury over the situation Kraktus had revealed.

Kayen had not anticipated just how… grand.. Of a story Karktus would launch into when she had asked what happened to him, she had figured the Squid faced psychopath would give a bit of a speech about some intense battle where he outsmarted his opponent, and he technically HAD but he’d also launched into a full explanation of his rivalry with this ‘Banshee’ woman before getting on to the battle that had lead him here.

It was strange how open the Zoonamite was about the battle, openly stating that the woman had outsmarted him at several turns in their rivalry, perhaps it was the fact that while he had come out of things in a clearly bad way he had still ultimately won, at least technically, he was the one that had survived the encounter even if it had resulted in likely incredible damage to himself and DEFINETLY massive damage to his ship, apparently even his Blutz Generator was done for meaning he REALLY stood no chance if Kayen decided she wanted him dead.

“Maybe if you took more than a minute to check where you we’re you’d realize you’re on Raiti you moron. I came here to check in on it because I rule this rock. I probably SHOULD kill you since I imagine you’re still with the Fleet but if your Blutz Generator is busted you’re not really worth the effort of killing. If you’ve got access to money you should be able to get your burning wreckage turned back into a ship. If you fuck around on my world though I wont hesitate to kill you.”

Kayen was rather curious how strong Kraktus could get now, it really was a pity that he lacked access to his full strength, sure she COULD activate that power for him, the Blood Moon would presumably function just as as well for him as it would for a Saiyan, but she had no interest in giving an enemy an advantage just to see if MAYBE he could pose a decent challenge. She’d much rather just let him fuck off and lick his wounds.

“So since you got your ass quite literally kicked across the galaxy, I’m guessing things were not going well back on Earth” Now that she’d let him know he would be allowed to live Kayen would do a bit of fishing for information, was it actually possible Sensoa might defeat the Earth’s defenders? What would that even mean, Ramen would definetly take it poorly and go after him and sadly that would mean Kayen would have to do the same, in a choice between Sensoa and Ramen there really was no thought needed on her part.

“Do you… do you just not know things about the universe? I would have figured your weird space gods would let you know important shit. Raiti is one of the major black market hubs of the universe, you’re out in the damn wastelands that why you think this place is just a barren rock, there are cities not even that far away. But also yes that’s part of it” Kayen said sounding just a bit exasperated at the end, she saw no real reason to care about ‘hiding’ her intentions from Kraktus, the squid was pretty clearly a bit.. Off, any benefit he might get from spreading the word was potentially negated by the fact the word was coming from a madman, that and Kayen did not really care if people knew she had taken Raiti primarily to make a point about her power and interest in expansion.

“I doubt I’d even need Super Saiyan right now” Kayen said matter-of-factly in agreement with Kraktus’ assertion that her Super Saiyan power would be too much for him. “But don’t get it twisted, if you DO end up annoying me too much I WILL kill you, the entertainment you provide and the vague potential for a decent fight is FAR outweighed by my willingness to remove annoyances from my presence. I killed some moron who wasted my time rambleing nonsense at me just to get him to shut up faster not long ago” The old idiotic Saiyan had been complete nuisance, enough to even make Nashua sketchy of him which was really all Kayen needed as an excuse to kill him, that he had bothered her directly sealed his fate.

Kayen blinked a bit confused by Kraktus’ summation of his admiration for her, or more accurately her ‘power’ he apparently was of the firm belief that her true power was the ability to physically and mentally cripple people. Admittedly she HAD physically crippled Vocado but the mentally part was a bit.. Off, it sounded a bit like what Mollusc had been spouting off about her corrupting people like Ramen.

Really if anything Ramen was the one doing the corrupting, keeping Kayen’s drive to sweep across the galaxy at bay at least briefly.

“I honestly have no clue what the hell you’re talking about. I GUESS you’re right, I don’t hide who I am and what I’m about, most people who follow me respect that, respect the positions I hold, or dont want to be in my way. I dont know shit about the god’s you’re talking about but I can guarantee one thing, theres no controlling me, and if your gods DO want control around here I’ll cut them down just like anyone else” If the Shinjin she’d encountered so far were any indication she was not particularly concerned with anyone who considered themselves divine.

Kayen rolled her eye at Kraktus’ summation of what he saw a Black Market as, she lacked the will to correct him and honestly it was entirely possible the squid faced bastard was just trying to get a rise out of her, just not worth the effort to correct him or punch him in the face. Raiti was not in hiding, they were one of the most overt pirates holds in the universe, yes the more clandestine markets were away from open view but that was just for security.

Kayen remained indifferent even as Kraktus as he continued stating his joy for her directness and that he could tell she was completely serious, but at the same time still remaining delusionally certain she would not kill him, maybe before this whole thing wrapped up she’d have to give him a good smack upside the head with her full strength just to show him how close he brushed with death.

But then again that might just make him feel all the more certain that she woulden’t end him.

The internal debate was cut off as Kraktus began talking about his gods.

Or his lack of gods.

Kayen blinked a few times as he talked already just a bit lost as she had figured he was speaking in a literal manner in his previous references to them but apparently not, apparently just a concept to him, or just strength, it was becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of Kraktus’ mad logic, she genuinely wondered if this was just HIS belief system or the beliefs of all Zoonamites, were they ALL this crazy or was Kraktus unique in his madness?

He cleared that up…. Sort of… apparently his people's beliefs were involved and Kratus himself was some sort of divine being, but that was potentially just all based around his high strength relative to his people. The fleet had proven far more than his people and even him, but of course now HE was the Fleet, probably one of the few remaining properly powerful and influential members of its hierarchy.

And it just kept going, part of Kayen wondered if the ability to do these long mad rants was linked to his species, they were apparently an aquatic or had been once upon a time, so perhaps they had developed the increased oxygen capacity needed for this.

Finally he got to something very interesting, he apparently ‘realized’ what she wanted above all else, suffice it to say that such a statment drew Kayen’s full attention back to the squid face’d alien. Only for his conclusion to just leave her confused.

Crushing Earth?

That was what he had somehow gotten as her endgame? He seemed to more or less understand her other motivations, taking the throne to right the course of the Saiyans and apparently his belief was that from there she planned to do what the others had not accomplished, siezeing the Earth. She would be a lier to claim she had never thought of it, it WOULD be quite the accomplishment.

But it was also it was all but suicide, history proved that poking the saibahornets nest that was Earth was essentially an Empire’s death knell, the Earthlings had little interest in expansion on their own but were ardent in their refusal of being taken, and would push back with everything and more.

It would be a GOOD fight, but such a risk was not something Kayen was particularly interested in if she could avoid it.

But as Kraktus wrapped up his grand reveal he DID manage to hit something she had not expected, he brought up Ramen, referenced HER as the reason she would not touch Earth, while everything else did nothing to effect Kayen’s impassive expression THAT managed to get a reaction, a slight gritting of the teeth and narrowing of her eye.

Dangerous territory.

“I do as I please, and if you know what’s good for you, keep her name out of your mouth” Kayen’s power flared around her and for once the underlying threat of violence in her tone was not simply a joke or lacking in real direction, it was intense and completely focused on Kraktus like a crashing wave.

Kayen’s power remained elevated and her glare focused even as Kraktus spoke, she’d sort of known he was just trying to get a rise out of her but truth be told she didn’t much care. Playing the ‘cold unflappable queen’ role was reserved only for when it actually mattered and while maybe it would have changed things to do that now she WANTED Kraktus to know the danger he placed himself in by testing her patience, threatening the few things she genuinely considered important.

“I don’t care what your grand plan is, whether you think I can ‘break the wheel’ or not, because it doesn't matter what you think. I’ll kill you if you touch anything of mine or anyone important to me, it won’t be a glorious epic battle that people will tell tales of and spread your story to accomplish whatever bullshit you have in mind. It will be slow, brual, and agonzing. I’ll make SURE you regret your claim that even your own death is worth whatever you’re aiming for” Kayen’s power rose just a bit higher, her hair turning gold just for a moment as a wave of power rolled off of her shove Kraktus against his ship’s hull.

“Get the shit you need to have your ship running, and leave my planet” and with that the Queen would turn purposely turning her back to Kraktus to show no fear that he might attack from behind before taking off.
