Yanwang bounced across the street just enjoying the sun though he had made sure to pack some sunscreen. Last time he was out training he got a nasty sunburn on his forehead. Red and darker red really didn't match up well. It was a big stain on his face. Plus it really stung when something touched it. But that was ok because he still could have a good day just walking around and finding anything. You know just something to spend his day doing since with the big red bumb on his forehead he really could not focus on training. He didn't want to hurt it while he was training and he didn't want to also get sunburned anymore. That would be no fun at all.
Suri...walked in the streets of South City. She was wandering, like usual. Usually, she would have been eating something, but right now, she didn't really feel like it. She didn't feel like doing anything. The empty handed Majin walked around, with an equally empty face devoid of emotion. Empty thoughts...well, she was still keeping an eye in what was front of her, at least, and this time, where she was going. This enabled her to notice something ahead...
A peculiar boy jumped around, catching the attention of Suri. Horned, dark red skinned...no, wait, maybe that wasn't his normal red. The rest of his body wasn't that same color of bloody dark red. Concerning. Was he hurt? Suri called out to the boy, "He...Hey, are you okay?"
In a flash of magic, the once empty handed Majin would be holding an ice pack. Cold, like it had just been taken out of a freezer. It was for the horned boy's...whatever it was on his face. Handing over the ice pack, she would ask him, "What's...What happened to your...face?"
As he walked someone called out to him. He didn't know who it was but he decided to give a look to see who it was. It was a majin lady who seemed nice enough. She even created an ice pack out of nowhere. She handed it over and he looked at it in confusion. He didn't know what he was supposed to do with this. When she mentioned what handed to head he got the idea. Guess she was giving the pack to him for his forehead burn. He'd put it on and it felt better right away. "Ahhh thanks, lady." Yanwang nodded then rubbed his chin with his free hand. Guess he could tell her what happened. "Well I was training very hard the other day trying to get super strong but I was not paying attention to how bright and hot it was outside. So I got a sunburn right on my forehead." Yanwang would explain as he rubbed the icepack around letting out a sigh of relief.
"You're welcome..." Suri said, though without erasing the worried look on her face. It remained as the boy told her why his face was in the state that it was. "While training...? Huh. I haven't thought about that when I train..." Though, could she even get sunburnt? Maybe her skin would boil on its own, but...she also had an icy aura to keep her cooled.
"Well, it's great that you're pumped up to do exercise, but you should be careful... More importantly, maybe you should go to a hospital...get it checked out and treated, you know? It could get worse if you just leave it be."
"In any case..." Suri remembered passing a hospital on the way here. She knew the route, so she decided to draw it on a piece of paper...checking her pockets, she realized that she didn't have anything to draw with. That should have been expected, she never carried around a pen and paper. So, Suri quickly materialized a paper with the route pre-drawn, and handed the (extremely poorly drawn) map to the boy. "Just go like this, and you'll find a hospital."
"Yeah while training. You know you're working hard to get super strong staring at the sun or training in a desert where it is super hot. It can happen any time but usually, i'm ok. Guess I stayed a bit too long letting the sun beat down on my face. Next time I'll have to wear some sunscreen for sure. When she treated going to the get help he shook his head. "No way it's just a sunburn no need to go the doctor why would I need to go. It is not that bad." He'd touched it and it did sting a bit but it was really not that bad. No reason to go wandering up to some noisy doctor asking him why he looked like a rat or why he was red. Sure there were aliens but Aliens like him were really rare. She did make a map though so he'd not be rude and not take it. "Thanks so what do you do lady. I don't see many majins." He could only think of Myu and Mumbo off the top of his head. "Oh yeah I forgot to ask your name. I am Yanwang who might you be?"
Huh... He trained by subjecting himself to heat for a long period of time. And only that. That's not how training worked, was it? The question Suri asked was instead; "Does that...work, as training??"
"I'm pretty sure you have to put your body under...different kinds of strain, not just heat...", Suri said as if she was doubting her own words, though she knew well enough about the subject of training not to. "It's never a good idea to overdo anything, yeah..."
The boy didn't want to go to the doctor, as expected. Suri sighed. She couldn't blame him. Who wants to, really? Suri would give him something else...which would come in handy regardless if he went or didn't. Suri materialized a bottle of water, and as always, it was cold as if it just came from the freezer. "Here." Suri handed it over. "You can drink that then...and I guess it can replace the ice pack if it becomes useless, too." Suri didn't remember how you were supposed to treat sunburns, but she had a feeling it had something to do with cold and water. Then came a towel, to wipe sweat, and to use as a layer in between in case it was too cold. ...He took the map, though. Was he going, or not going? Suri was confused, then...
That question. 'What do you do?'
"Uhhhhhhhh..." What did she do? Suri was basically a NEET at this point. Her father gave her the freedom to travel the world to find that something to do, yet she used that time to go around trying food. Occasionally she found jobs, sure, but her part-time jobs never lasted long. Was she a treasurehunting adventurer? She got a lot of money from just doing that one or two times, sure, but that was it, and she was by no means passionate about it. Oh yeah. Martial arts was a thing she did. Suri was trying to find a real job and move away from that, but she realized, that was what she did mostly these days.
Though a lot of thoughts were passing through Suri's mind, she did catch the boy mention the fact that she was a Majin, and how he didn't see her kind often. "...You too?" Suri heard that a few times... Well, there were lots among Earth's populous, and occasionally Suri saw Majin out in the streets, sure. The ones Suri knew, though? Excluding friends from school that she didn't talk to anymore, she could only think of Myu and Bloom.
Yanwang introduced himself, and asked Suri's name while doing so, so she would reply. "My name is Suri, and I guess...I'm a martial artist? I train too, and stuff. With sparring or weights though. I don't like the heat that much, though I have a way to avoid it..." That was her natural cold aura, which Suri wasn't hesitant to show. She thought, it would also help them against the heat of the sun that they were currently both experiencing.
Guess her second occupation was a living air conditioner.

Then comes Suri's (x1/x3), which is the activation of said cold aura. Suri's PL: 70,000/210,000
"Well, it is not just going into the desert. I usually will pull rocks around while I'm training so I can work on my strength and my stamina. Those are two of the most important things in a fight afterall. If you can't do some damage or last a long time in a fight your not much of a fighter. "As for overdoing things yah, I don't want to go crazy especially with the sunburn I just got." Yanwang smiled, he was glad she was looking out for him but he was going to do fine. Then Suri even made him some water and a towel. "Yeah, thanks." He'd take the water right away and drank it right up. That was really refreshing especially after training so hard. She also mentioned her name which was Suri. "That an odd name but a nice name." Guess his name was pretty odd compared to most people. She was also a Martial artist apparently which got him jumping up an down. "Then we should spar sometime that can be a lot of fun. Though I'm pretty strong so I don't know." Suri seemed strong with her magic but he could not tell from looks alone how strong she truly was. If only he could sense Ki.
"Rocks do work great as weights." Suri nodded. "...Yeah. Gotta find a balance to things..."
"...Huh? Oh, err...thanks?" Suri hadn't really thought of names like that, and didn't really have a standard of weirdness for names.
"So I guess we're both martial art-ers. Let's do that, when your face is healed...?" That was probably ideal for Yanwang, and Suri, she didn't want cause more damage to his face...
Yanwang said that he was pretty strong. A few months ago, maybe Suri wouldn't have taken him too seriously, but after meeting Myu and Nashi, and training with the latter...she knew not to underestimate someone even if they were young. "How strong?" Suri asked, genuinely curious. Energy sensing would be helpful in gauging both of their strengths, but... "I'm guessing you can't sense energy. I can't either, so...I guess we'll have to find out?"
"Not today though, with the state you're in... Can you, uhh...put your strength into words, maybe?" Nashi did that once, and she thought maybe they could apply that here. "My master said that I could...turn tanks into cups, or something like that." Cupcake trays, but she couldn't remember the exact quote.
"Yah they do they are hard to carry too since they are so big. I can barely wrap my hands around a big rock at least one big enough to give me a challenge. Pebbles and small stones really not going to get the blood moving. Yanwang then rubbed his hair. Guess it was not the nicest thing to say someone had an odd name. Yet he had never met anyone named Suri. When she asked how strong he began to count. He was really unsure how to explain how strong he really was. "Well if I put a number to it. I'm like mega strong like super mega strong. So like 1,000 times stronger than a strong person which...." What was a strong person? He was unsure if he was even that strong of a person with his friend running about who was even stronger then he was. "Uh...." He keeps rubbing his head trying to figure out how to explain this. When she mentioned she could turn tanks into cupcakes he nodded. "Well, I can create whatever I want with my Fujin Bag anything that comes to mind the magic will make as real as the well...the real thing?" Was that a good measurement of power.
"Ah, uhh...?" Suri tried to smile reassuringly, despite now knowing what Yanwang really meant. Well, being a thousand times stronger than a regular person was already an impressive level, but from what Yanwang claimed, his strength had another multiplier added to it. He struggled to explain his power, but... "It's understandable that it's difficult to explain, I'm not too sure on it either."
"...Oh? Fujin...bag? This?" Suri asked, pointing towards said bag. "So what you're saying is...you can create objects magically from this bag. That's impressive though! Apparantly it's a difficult skill to learn." Judging from the reactions Suri got after showing people her abilities. "I guess we can both create things magically. We can't show each other our physical strength by sparring, but...maybe we could show each other that? I guess, a magic showdown? Let's sit down somewhere, and...ah." Suri didn't have to look far, as they happened to be standing next to a store that sold drinks, with chairs on the outside you could sit and drink.
"Milkshake?" Suri pointed at the little store while asking him. She would get two if he agreed, only one if he disagreed. Regardless, Suri would come and sit down after ordering.
"Alright, so... Would you like to...start?" Suri asked. She suggested that Yanwang start first so she would have an idea as to what to make herself. If what the boy said was true, Suri could learn from him. He could make anything he could think of, as real as the real thing. Sometimes Suri failed to do that, but maybe there was a way to improve her skills past that. This was training too, magic training.
"Yah I am not good with numbers. I just know I am really strong compared to the normal person walking around. I don't have the ability to know the strength of myself or my foes. I just have to assume in a fight and sometimes that works and other times not so much." He'd paused for a bit as Suri seemed suprised by the Fujin bag. Yet she also mentioned she could create stuff magically. That made him feel a little bit less special but he bet he was still on another level cause that was his whole gimmick. He had to be the best with that no one else could be. She offered instead of having a contest of strength they would do a contest of magical power. He would totally be able to win in that regard.
Yanwang would follow Suri as she found a place where they could sit. She even asked if he wanted a milkshake. "Sure I'll take a Milkshake." Yanwang jumped up and down. Now he had made a new friend at least it seemed like. Suri was nice enough but they had just met. Don't need to jump to conclusions. She even offered in their contest for him to go first. He wondered if he should start easy or go all out right away. He decided to start slow to test how Good Suri was at creating things. He'd reached into his Fujin Bag pulling out a t-shirt with his face on it. It looked pretty sloppy he had tried to paint his own logos on a plain white t-shirt. Guess he still needed a bit more art practice. "So what you think?"
Yanwang's strategy seemed dangerous to Suri, but... "Dangerous, but I guess that's what I've been doing too..." She couldn't say much about it, then.
Maybe it was weird that she was buying this kid she just met a milkshake. Suri reeeally wanted to see the boy's magical prowess though! And, y'know, it was hot out, so a cold drink would be great after using up some magical energy.
Yanwang pulled something out from his bag; a t-shirt with his face on it. That was magic? Suri lifted her eyebrow. So far, that level was possible to do even without magic... There's no way he would just carry around the t-shirt everywhere he went, though. Suri wanted to believe him too, and she would assume this was just how his magic worked. Maybe he was starting with something small. Okay then, they would work their way up to something more impressive. "Ookay... That was pretty quick even though you couldn't see inside the bag. Alright, my turn." Suri most often created drinks and food. They already had drinks coming though, so she would make food.
Suri pointed her fingers at the table, sending some of her magic on there. Her magic swirled like wind, the visible white mist spun around the table before it was focused into a smaller point. The vapor-like magic energy solidified into a plate, at which point it stopped spinning around. She wasn't done, and some of her magic remained on the plate. Her magic popped some cold chocolate cookies into existence! Yes, cold, like they were just taken out of a fridge moments ago. The cookies piled up on the plate. At first, they all had a mundane circular shape, but a few seconds later, they morphed in shape. The cookies were flat, and after changing, each of them were shaped like different weapons. A broadsword here, a rapier there, most of them were sword-shaped cookies, with occasional pistols mixed in. And would you look at that, there was a Fujin bag shaped one too.
Picking up a cookie dagger and eating it starting from the blade part, Suri enjoyed her own crunchy creation. "Mmm! These are good, just like I imagined. Let's eat these while we do this... Oh, I guess it's your turn!"
Yanwang watched Suri expression trying to see what she thought but she didn't seem impressed. Guess he did pull a shirt out of a bag. Guess he started way bigger. Really show her what he was all about. Yet he would have to see what Suri would do. Afterall she may have been not good at magic at all. Just saying she was to look really cool. Afterall Magic was super cool. He'd watched as Suri pointed at the table. She then created a ton of cookies. They seemed to be cooked right in front of them and she even was shaping them. She was creating some pretty cool stuff. She was the real deal alright, no fake magic for as far as his eyes could see. "Alright, that was pretty good." He'd take a sip of the Milk shake Suri got him. It was pretty good to be sure.
Yanwang got up so he focuses all his energy. He did want to create something that would be impressive but also leave something just in case for the final. She could have something even crazier to show. Then it popped into his head something that he didn't remember doing but he just had a feeling that he had tried it before. Flames jetted from the bag as he focused thinking of the Sun above them. Of course, he'd only make it as hot as maybe as the milkshake! That was perfect why it would not hurt anyone. From the Bag, it came floating out a miniature sun which Yanwang hugged then he'd grab a marker. This would be the best part. Forgetting it was a Gas still he tried to draw on it but he only ended up drawing on his own shirt. "Ah man," Yanwang grunted but he still created the sun. That was what mattered.
"Heheh. Thanks." Suri said...she felt a bit guilty that she didn't give Yanwang a reaction like he did. Maybe the next one, she would... Hm? He was sipping on milkshake- Oh yeah! Suri had briefly forgotten buying milkshakes for the both of them, but the shopkeeper had come out to give them their drinks. The woman smiled at both of them, telling them to enjoy before she started turning away to go back to the cashier...but then she stopped, surprised by the sight she caught with her eyes.
A firey ball with the appearance of a miniature sun. When Suri saw it come out of Yanwang's bag, her first thought was; 'Okay, definitely confirmed to be magic!' Suri now knew this boy wasn't kidding, he definitely had extraordinary skills. Similar to hers, too! Suri could feel that this 'sun' was "cool."..literally. Suri's expression was initally that with surprised mixed into it, then it turned into a smile. The next thought she had, vocalized, was; "Heeeey, I can do that too! I think. Hold on..." Suri didn't know what Yanwang was doing with his marker, but she didn't ask about it, instead focusing on attempting to create something similar to his creation.
The sun was a star. Suri could make star-shaped projectiles with ki and magic. She called them 'shooting stars', because she thought of the ice cream flavor of the same name while developing the technique. Suri made them into the five-edged kind, but it was definitely possible to forgo the process of shaping them into the cute shape and instead release the energy as it is. Suri brought ki into her hands in the form of a few tiny ki orbs, then her magic surrounded it. The appearance of the spheres only changed slightly, they morphed into shapes similar to actual stars like the sun, though their colors were vanilla white, soda blue, and strawberry red. Although they didn't look like ★, hopefully they were still a sight to behold! "Tada!" Suri's open hands inched closer to Yanwang to show him the newly created miniature stars floating above them. "They're cold, just like yours!" If not even more. Touching them would feel like touching ice, and the scent of the shooting stars would be that of the ice cream flavor's.
The stars were trembling, ever so slightly, ever since they had been made. The shaking of the stars slowly got more and more intense, until eventually even Suri noticed it. "...Huh?" Suri then realized her mistake. These stars she just created were ki-magic projectiles she used to FIGHT people. Shooting stars. They were made to be shot at something and detonate. Though Suri was holding them in place, the stars shook more and more, as if they were eager to be set off for their original purpose. Even if they were much less in number, and only golf ball-sized, they could still do some serious damage whatever hit by them.
"...Ooookay, I better release these before...Gah." Had a minute passed? Hopefully Yanwang had gotten a good enough look. "Heeeeere they GO!" Suri stood up and lifted her hands above her head, letting the shaking stars shoot upwards into the sky. As the stars hit the clouds above, they did indeed explode, but like flashy fireworks rather than brutal bombs. No one got hurt, but... "I hope that wasn't, uhh...illegal." ...and the shopkeeper was understandably pretty shaken too.
Guess this one was more to her level. He did see the surprise on her face but didn't focus on that. He just focused on holding the sun as he wiped the marker off his shirt. Afterall this cool moment could be ruined by marking his own shirt. That would be a beyond dumb look. Still, she seemed to think she could top that. He had just made a sun he bet she had nothing to top that. Untill she claimed she could create a sun too? Yanwang raised an eyebrow, could she really do that? Yanwang really doubted she could do it but he did watch just in case. She then used her ki to create orbs of ki that looked just like stars. She even made three of them with three different colors. Yanwang was sweating a bit he wanted to win but Suri was doing pretty good.
Then he also saw the stars moving they seemed to be a bit out of control. Guess there was a problem that really was unsure why there was a problem. Maybe she didn't have as much control as he thought. Finally, she even fired them into the air making fireworks. "Woah?" Yanwang eyes were wide as he looked up. He could see that some people were shaken a bit. Guess it made sense since he fired small fireworks into the air. Yanwang flexed his muscles. He did wanna make something but seeing everyone shocked he decided the right thing to do was just to drink. "While I wanna keep going I think we're scaring some people we can settle the score another time." That was the right thing to do he assumed.
