It's been so long since Kon had actually eaten something good. Having mostly lived off of trash scraps and various different animals that she had killed in the forest, she was starving for a familiar flavor of eggs. While she could have stolen some from nests in the wild, they were all generally too small and she didn't even know how to search for them as well. She couldn't even afford to buy grocery store eggs anymore, and it was difficult to steal them, especially when they could easily break. She had definitely heard of the world famous Ostrich Chickens before, and how large their eggs were. It definitely didn't hurt that their shells were thicker than normal chicken eggs which would help contribute to making running off with one a lot more easier than it was. While it did take awhile to figure out where the incubation center was, Kon quickly found it.
Kon's PL: 40,000
Doing her best to appear as sneaky as possible, Kon hid behind a nearby wall looking around for any signs of people. It was dusk, almost nightfall so any workers should have been leaving at this time ready to return home after a long day at work. However, the lights were still on which was making her anxious. She could try and just force herself in, without any regard for the life inside, but she wanted to continue stealing these eggs for awhile. Killing the handlers would just cause a crime scene which would fill up with police. She didn't want to deal with them again, especially after what happened in East City. While it was easy enough to break out, time in jail had only made her feel worse about the situation she was already in.
After what appeared to be a century, the lights to the incubation center finally dimmed. Perfect. After waiting for the unmistakable sound of a car driving off, Kon would immediately act. Forcing a window out of its pane, she would climb through the new hole and created a small ki blast in her hand. It was enough to provide her with light which would help her find the way through this maze. After winding down the corridors for a little, she had found it! Dozens of eggs sat in a warm light, providing it with the warmth that it needed to grow. After punching through one of the class doors, Kon quickly snagged and egg and began to move. She only had a limited amount of time before someone would come and discover what she was do. However, she was desperate enough to risk her life doing something like this, although it was not as if anyone would care either. In this life, she was completely alone.
