While Nashua didn't have a Dragon Radar herself this time, that didn't mean she didn't still want to at least try and find another Ball. Though, searching for an object the size of a volleyball amidst an entire planet was proving to be... Difficult. The Saiyan sat at the pilot's seat of her ship, with her eyes craned downwards at the craggy area below her that was the Outer Plait of Namek. Among the rocks were no real traces of anything bright and orange, though Nashua had to admit, there'd been a few times where she was almost certain she'd finally spotted one, only to realize it was just the sun glinting brightly off a spherical rock. It still left her equally disappointed every time it happened, though. Eventually, Nashua realized something peculiar about the ground she was hovering over, and had her ship settle down nicely a few dozen meters away from the point of interest.
She approached the area with squinted eyes, and her arms crossed over her chest. Why did this one area seem so oddly familiar? ...Oh, that was right. "It's our old campgrounds!" Nashua muttered to herself with a smile as she realized that fact. It looked quite different without all the capsule corp buildings and stuff up, but it was definitely the right spot. Boy, had she spent a lot of time here. Much as she'd been looking forward to leaving Namek and going home back then, there was a part of her now that had a strange nostalgia for that time, before there were Super Saiyans and when Vocado was still King. Worse times, probably, but simpler times all the same. It was very clear cut who the good guys and bad guys were, and where her role in the war was. Now she just found herself aimlessly helping people out.
With a sigh, Nashua went back into her ship and fished through some drawers until she found the lunchbox she'd packed at the last Namekian village, before walking back outside and setting herself down on a small boulder. For all she knew, it could've been like, 4 AM, but as far as Namek's multiple suns were concerned, it was daytime, and also lunchtime. The Saiyan popped her box open and started munching down on some of the cold turkey sandwich that had been kept inside, her eyes occasionally glancing over towards her ship - where four Dragon Balls sat.

A MONKEY, A BUG, AND SOME MAGIC BALLS WALK INTO A CAMP
CHROMO'S PL: 40,000 (SUPPRESSION | 152k BASE)
Chromo had stumbled upon these four signals a few times now. Before, he'd assumed it was just his radar malfunctioning. He only saw a big ship, and no Dragon Balls whatsoever- and the mystical artifacts were supposed to be scattered about the globe, not conveniently gathered together in one spot! Yet now that he'd found one real-deal Dragon Ball to confirm that his radar wasn't broken and the darn things actually did exist, the idea that there could be four of them, ripe for the taking, suddenly became plausible. With his power suppressed, Chromo crept through the overgrown grass of the large, abandoned camp his Dragon Radar guided him to. In his claws was a Dragon Ball of his own, still partially covered in mud from when he'd first dug it up. With one more steady sweep, he pried away at a patch of grass to gaze into the clearing he'd found. The radar stopped shaking as he found himself right on top of the other orbs. Four of them, all gathered together. ...And someone else nearby. Chromo gasped, sliding his head back into the bushes in a flash. Of course someone else had to be hogging these things- of course he couldn't have a single nice thing! His gut stirred- he felt like trying to up and steal the four before running off was a bad idea. A single Dragon Ball was over half his size- how would he manage to carry five at once?! The other option was to take out their apparent holder- some Saiyan lady. The screamy, irritable murderer of a Bio-Android that had taken life without a second thought, though, didn't find it a very appealing first resort... He shuddered as repressed memories briefly resurfaced. She did look slightly familiar, but Chromo couldn't put his finger on it. Maybe he could distract her- play it cool. And then screech and attack when that inevitably went wrong. It was a foolproof plan! After lodging his Three-Star Dragon Ball into the bushes and partially covering it with dirt to shoddily hide it from sight, Chromo gave the orb a quick pat before drawing in his breath. He slipped his radar beneath the folds of his wings and out of sight, safely hidden beside a prized piece of paper of his. Well, here went nothing. "Hey--" -No, saying "hey idiot" wasn't a good way to start- "Hey nerd!" ...Close enough. Skittering out of hiding, the beetle was quick to perch himself atop one of the abandoned tents. He tried not to look at the Dragon Balls just yet. He increased his power slightly to better make himself known- though his true power was still hidden away. "So... uh." He didn't plan this far. He didn't even know how to distract without violence being a part of the plan. Crap. "I was jus' in the neighborhood and stuff and am pretty hungry there's no McBaos out here or anything--" He rambled in improvisation, letting his stomach do the thinking instead of his brain. That sandwich did look pretty good, all things considered... "Sooooo uhhh, do you like, have more food or know a good place to get some food maybepleaseandthankyou?" He might have hastily glanced at the bushes where he'd messily hidden his own Dragon Ball for a second- it was hard to help himself, but he managed to tear his eyes back. Was this how normal people talked and interacted? He didn't know for sure. He was so close to being five-sevenths of the way to his goal, yet so far... Part of him wanted to get to the bottom of why this lady was ever so slightly familiar as well- but first things first...

Well, it seemed Nashua wasn't the only one in the area. 'Hey nerd' definitely didn't sound like the kind of greeting a Namekian would have offered someone, and sure enough, when Nashua's eyes turned to look towards whoever had called out to her, it definitely was not a Namekian. It was a... Beetle? Golden eyes squinted somewhat suspiciously at whoever this thing was, but with how low its power level was coming up, it didn't seem like all too much of a threat, more just some kind of creature that was... Around. "Um, hello," Nashua stated in reply. She took another bite of her sandwich as the bug seemed to stammer a bit, seemingly caught on its own tongue, before it finally revealed that it was hungry, and wanted food. Luckily, that came with a pretty simple solution, all things considered. "I don't think they have, uh, 'McBao's' anywhere on this planet," she said.
"If they do, I haven't seen one, and it's definitely not around this area." McBao's was that burger chain on Earth, right? She'd seen a couple pop up on Vegeta, as well, but they were definitely most massively popular on the big blue planet. Did that mean this guy had some from Earth, somehow? "And I think this was about all I had packed for now, but, uh, here," she paused to swallow some of her sandwich before breaking what still remained in half, and offering the larger of the two halves over towards the bug. "It's turkey, if you eat that stuff." Turkey probably wasn't a natural part of most bugs' diets, but this bug also didn't seem like most bugs. Yet, at the same time, there was something oddly familiar about his voice, and the colors of his body, like Nashua had bumped into him before.
Where had she done that, though? If the bug was from Earth, it'd have been there, right? ...Wait a second. "Say..." she mumbled, squinting her eyes at the insect. "I feel like I've met you somewhere before, haven't I?" Nashua decided to ask. Had they been in a fight? She briefly recalled something like fighting, what was it, a ghost and a beetle thing alongside Cress? Maybe around a full year before? In fact, something that bug had shouted came to mind: "There's more where that came from, NEEEERD!" The same thing this bug had just shouted at her. "...Wait, are you that bug that stabbed me in the shoulder and then blew me up?" she bluntly asked, her arms crossing in front of her as her mouth dipped into a frown. "I mean, you look different now, a little bit, but that was you, wasn't it? ...You haven't gotten much stronger in the last year, huh?"

CHROMO'S PL: 40,000 (SUPPRESSION | 152k BASE)
Well, he hadn't been punched in the face yet for the Dragon Balls. This was a better start than expected! Still, the awkward beetle would fidget as he waited for a response, still anxiously glancing to the side every few seconds. He was looking at the four temptingly close Dragon Balls longer than he cared to admit... Though with a vigorous shake of his head to redirect himself, the Bio-Android turned his attention back to Nashua. He was supposed to be the one distracting her, not the other way around!
In less than a second, Chromo's jaws would snap forward as he'd grip the offered food, swallowing it whole in one ravenous gulp. To say he'd been starving over the past few days was an understatement. "Finally, something besides stinkin' veggies!" The beetle commented after. All Namekians seemed to grow here were icky vegetables- and the raw meat the wildlife he hunted provided wasn't much tastier, either... Right, he wasn't here for food. He was here for Dragon Balls.
...But the lady was seriously familiar, and he still couldn't pinpoint how so. "I 'wuz going to say..." He narrowed his eyes back in thought as Nashua shared his sentiment. Chromo clicked his tongue and tilted his head like an owl... Had he blown her up before? He'd blown a lot of people. Karma really liked biting him as of late. "Uhhhh..." Chromo looked away and trailed off, as if he'd been just caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar. "...Mmmaaaaaaybe?"
At the notion of not being much stronger, Chromo would just give a slow nod. "Yyyyyep." Totally. He wasn't hiding any power whatsoever. He certainly wasn't the little monster that defeated a certain Super Saiyan a month before... If his tone was any indicator, the words "subtle" and "Chromo" did not go together. He might have glanced at the Dragon Balls again by accident also...
"W-well I haven't stabbed and blown you u-up since! So..!!! Yeah!!" He feebly tried to defend himself. "And I would'a totally wo..." Chromo cut off again, grumbling to himself. He was trying, but it felt like his quips and "being rude" was second nature! "...would have lost anyways cause your nerd friend cheated except not really cheated and it was still cool and fun or something i guess." Tarch made this whole "talking" and "friends" thing look so easy... The nervous beetle couldn't stop beads of sweat from forming on his face. He was a terrible liar, but would get an A for effort. It'd be so easy to resort to stabbing like before, but here he was...
...He glanced back again to where his Dragon Ball was hidden. It was impossible to hide the five elephants in the room any longer.
"Sssssssso." Maybe he could ask nicely? "...Ugh. I just--" That worked for Tarch a lot. Probably. It felt like it'd work if he did it. "It's like... I... uh....... I was wooondering..." He didn't bother trying to hide the fact that he was looking at the Dragon Balls. He'd probably already gained a lot of suspicion with how much he was looking away before. He was beginning to feel frustration rise with a tinge of fear. Why did life have to make things hard for him still? He sighed in defeat as his thoughts taunted him- just say it, Chromo. "...Dragon Balls. Yeah." Before Nashua could comment, he'd quickly pick up in preemptive defense. "Cause you see this super bad evil family-destroying guy ruined my life and I-I want to fix things actually and it's r-reallybad andthisislikemyonechancetodosomethingandstuffandandand--"
His tone quickened, devolving into what seemed like fearful gibberish if he wasn't interrupted. ...Chromo wasn't very good with this whole "talking" thing.

Nashua furrowed her eyebrows at the bug's comment. "Well, true, but I also haven't seen you since then, either," she replied as she finished off the last bit of her half of the sandwich. It might not have been as filling as it would've been if she'd been allowed to eat the entire thing herself, but it'd hit the spot just fine for the moment. She hardly remembered the fight well enough to tell if anyone had been 'cheating' - that and the fact that she'd been knocked unconscious about two thirds of the way through it. Though, she wouldn't have totally put it past Cress to have done something a bit less than fair after she wasn't around to keep him in check. He had a tendency to be a loose cannon, from what she'd seen of him. "I wouldn't remember any cheating, but I am sorry if Cress pulled some tricks on you to get the upper hand, if it makes you feel any better."
She was trying her best to remember what this bug's name was when he suddenly brought up something totally different from anything they'd been talking about, which had her heart skip a beat. This little guy wanted to use the Dragon Balls? How'd he even know about those, anyway? ...Well, they weren't exactly uncommon knowledge anymore, so she didn't imagine it'd be too hard for even people on Earth to have known about them. Although, why he'd decide to come all the way to Namek when Earth had its very own set was well beyond Nashua. Either way, she was going to have some bad news for the little fellow. "Oh, I'm sorry, but I've already promised to use those for other people," she stated.
"First I need to help revive this guy, Typha, who died protecting a bunch of people from some monster, then I need to help revive this Saiyan boy's mother, and then thirdly... Well, I'm not actually sure - it was either reviving this blue haired girl's family or reviving this other Namekian." Which one was it, again? She hadn't seen that blue haired girl since she'd received the Dragon Ball from her. Either way, these wishes were going to be doing lots of reviving. Did the ones who watched over the Afterlife get mad at her for bringing so many people back from their clutches? Nashua had to wonder if she'd be facing some kind of wrath when she died for all the meddling she'd done in other people's deaths. Oh, well, nothing to worry about for now. "But, if you'd like, after I finish up here, I could go with you and help you deal with that bad guy? Unless I get called up for duty by my Queen, I'm pretty much free to do what I want."

CHROMO'S PL: 200,000 (SUPPRESSION | x13P | 152k BASE)
Chromo's gaze sunk as if he'd just been told Santa wasn't real. His skin turned paler, pupils shrunken to a point where they were almost invisible as his limbs curled closer to his body. No...? What did she mean no!?! He was doing this the right way- he was trying his hardest to be nice, and nothing? And what for- some single sap who'd died fighting a monster, a very coincidental sounding saiyan looking to revive their mother, and some blue-haired or namekian idiot who she didn't even bother to know? What of Kohlra, his entire fallen family, everyone else in West City that day?! What about him?
The beetle remained silent and unresponsive for a few moments with a thousand-yard stare at seemingly nothing. "N-no, nonono, i-i-if I don't do it h-here then it's a-a-all over!!" He stammered in panic. Even if there were more Dragon Balls or if they could be used again later somehow, it'd probably be too late to even hope for forgiveness. He had to fix things now, or else they never would be fixed, he kept telling himself. Chromo shook his head, subconsciously letting some of his power begin to slip as his emotions began to flare again. "I-I'm tryna do this right for ONCE! I-I'll do anything--!! Just... just..."
Chromo was originally created to destroy, hard-wired to be a terrifying tool for Tanga's goals- not a diplomat. Devolving to violence was what caused the worst mistake of his life, but it was what fixed many problems for him prior. It wasn't like this was working any better, anyways. Desperation, fear, and an intense, growing frustration began to cloud the monstrous child's mind. The bio-android's pupils leaked with a red glow.
"Whatever- w-whatever, whatever! I'm not asking anymore!" Desperation took over- he had to get those Dragon Balls by any means. Too bad so sad for the two people who'd stay dead otherwise- this was something he couldn't afford to dawdle on. Chromo lowered his form and spread his body into an offensive stance, jaws open wide with rows of fangs. "I-if you REALLY do wanna fight that bad guy I mentioned, then you can do that right now." The bug snarled and opened his claws, though his body still trembled slightly with lingering hesitation. Part of him didn't want to fight- but it was the one thing he was especially good at.

The beetle was quite quiet after Nashua had given him his answer about the Dragon Balls. She'd been expecting him to be disappointed or something, though his blank faced silence was weird. She held out her hand and waved it in front of his face for a moment before he seemed to have snapped himself out of the trance, and began some kind of panicked muttering. "Uh... You okay? You don't need to panic or anything, I can still help you out, just not immedia-" she was interrupted as both his voice and power level began to raise, an aura of menace now emanating from the formerly docile bug. And then his eyes literally started glowing red, and he entered a quite menacing stance as he both snarled and glared straight at Nashua. Nashua herself was more confused than afraid, though, and her scouter revealed that his power level had managed to leap up to 200,000.
So he had improved a bit more than she'd thought, at least. Not that much, though. "Um, I don't really wanna fight you," Nashua said after a pause, carefully setting her lunchbox down to the side while she stood up and took a step back from the bug. "And you probably don't really want to fight me." Of course, the insect wouldn't have really had any way of knowing that Nashua had managed to achieve something far beyond what her powers were the last time they'd fought, but that didn't mean she was any more willing to use it against him. She had control enough to keep herself from accidentally killing him, of course, but that didn't mean it wouldn't have hurt a ton getting hit by a Super Saiyan blast! Still, he'd powered up beyond her, and she didn't want to get hurt either, so...
Nashua's fists tightened, and before the beetle would've known it, her power energy would've doubled before his very eyes as the ki that pulsed throughout her Saiyan veins yearned for triumph over the creature that had bested her before. Just because Nashua preferred more peaceful ways than most Saiyans didn't mean her body itself wasn't still that of a prideful warrior's. There was also the fact that the bug had just confessed to the fact that he was the cause of his own problems, anyway, which ruined most of the pity Nashua felt for him. "Look, I need to use these Balls more than you do. You should know that reviving the people you've killed doesn't take away the fact that you still murdered them in the first place. Stop kidding yourself with the notion that 'all will be forgiven' if you do this. Because honestly, you're just making yourself worse if you shed more blood to try and redeem yourself for others."

Tarch PL: 150,000. Energy Suppressed to: 1
Lying face down in the dirt, groaning to himself for what felt like the millionth time this month, was a young half saiyan boy holding a small device at his side. Tarch had powered up his radar once again only to find a signal of four dragon balls altogether. Then, as it always did, the darn thing flickered off to recharge. Why did Nashua had to horde all those balls to herself anyway? Wouldn’t it make more sense to give them to Mr. Oboe? They were his after all. On the other hand, Nashua was the strongest super saiyan maybe of all time, who would be dumb enough to try and take them from her.
Tarch had just gotten himself up and brushed off, ready to go back to the village he was staying at until he felt not one but two powers flaring up. One was most definitely Nashua, though not as monstrous as her super saiyan form. Yet it was the second energy that made the teen’s heart sink into a dark pit in his stomach.
“No… no no no… no NO NO NO! What is HE doing here?! And he’s fighting… He’s… why is he…” Tarch kept stammering to himself. He wanted to believe he was just mistaken. Maybe this was someone with a similar feeling power? No, no they were all gone, even his mother was now just a memory. It didn’t matter how hard he tried to convince himself otherwise. Chromo was on Namek.
But why was the little bug fighting Nashua? He couldn’t have been after the balls. Could he? How would he even know about them? It wasn’t as if Tarch ever told him about them. Heck, he didn’t even know what they were when he first came here last year! Maybe they were just sparring? No, though vague, Tarch had a small memory of Chromo accusing her of cheating in their last fight. So then he was here for the dragon balls. The question now is, why? Perhaps there was a better question to be asked now.
“What do I do now?”
Did he just walk away? And abandon him again? That was what started this entire problem, to begin with. The two of them should be playing on the beach, drinking one hundred and ninety-nine cans of hetap without a care in the world. Instead, they were here, trying to fix the most broken mess Tarch ever had the displeasure of being a part of. Then again, Chromo was the one who killed his mother. Kohlra had nothing to do with any of that, yet she paid the ultimate price. Now he was after the woman who was more of a sister to him than his real sister. He couldn’t do nothing! He just couldn’t stand idly in the corner and hope this all blew over without anyone else dying.
Betrayal, bitterness and grief all stewed in a boiling pot of pain in Tarch’s chest as he flew off toward the two people he wanted to love most in the world. Yet in all those festering emotions, there was just the tiniest dash of hope. Maybe they were just having a friendly spar. Or maybe… Chromo was here for the same reason he was? Would he finally be able to forgive him? Or would the anger be too much? Could this young half saiyan really bear to face his former best friend here of all places? Only one way to find out.
Tarch is on his way! Items are: dragon radar, med machine, seven star ball, space pod, bluz gen, armor, and senzu bonsai. Let the pain begin

CHROMO'S PL: 1,976,000 (x13P | 152k BASE)
Despite his feeble efforts, Chromo couldn't stop his body from trembling. His jaws parted into a hellish hiss. "Yeah, you totally need them more for the stupid blue girl or Namekian dummy that you don't even care to remember!" He didn't know them, and now he certainly didn't care to. Sure, Nashua likely didn't know the people his wish entailed, but Chromo sure did! Still, he'd dig his heels into the ground and snarl- but made no move to attack just yet. His power still began to steadily climb with his rising emotions, fearful eyes darting from Nashua to the bushes he'd stowed away his prize in... He didn't want to fight Nashua, but did he really have a choice in the matter if he wanted his one wish?
Though with the saiyan's next words, the slow climb of Chromo's power burst into an explosive increase- in the span of seconds, his full force was on display. "I-I KNOW THEY WON'T ALREADY, YOU IDIOT!" Chromo roared at the top of his lungs, releasing a kiai to distance between himself and his would-be foe. Forgiveness was a far-off pipe dream. "I-I'll just get that wish, do my thing... then..." His tone devolved to a whimper. Then he'd screw off to some backwater planet to drink off-brand Hetaps for the rest of his days. At least he wouldn't have to deal with stuff like this there, and other people wouldn't have to see him like this ever again. Still, his tone would devolve into gibberish growls yet again. Chromo shook his head again and closed his watering eyes.
A flicker of green briefly entered his red aura, yet it faded in a flash. "Stop trying to be all-knowing and stuff! You don't know anything about it! Y-you can't know! All of you stupid grown-ups think you alllllways know best but you d-don't!" Here was yet another person trying to tell him what was what, right and wrong like she was some kind of stern mother- the bane of Chromo's existence.
The dust from his earlier kiai began to settle- with it, the bushes had been blown from their roots. Chromo positioned his foot over an orange glimmer, protectively curling one of his claws around his beloved, half-buried Three-Star Dragon Ball. He was mad, sad, scared- all familiar emotions at this point. The beetle's head briefly turned as he looked at his foggy reflection in the sphere... For a moment, his stance began to lower, the red fading from his eyes. This was the same mistake- the same look in his eyes from that day. He dug his two clawed fingers into his scalp with a screech and wail.
"J-just stop talking a-a-and hand those stupid things over! O-or... or..." Or else what? Chromo closed his eyes again, raising his antennae to command his swarm to attack... But he got no response. He didn't forget to feed them again, did he? Chromo's wide eyes trailed back to Nashua, but he remained still and crouched defensively, wings folded against his form. He couldn't make the first attack- but he could only assume now the Saiyan would be happy to do that instead.
Further in the camp, one of the lurking Imperfect clones had climbed atop the spire of one of the worn tents, it's blank eyes gazing at a distant, familiar spark in the skies. The rest of the clones had settled and were resting away from their leader not far away from the single alert Lesser. Both Desmond and Tarch had successfully reached out to the one lone lesser before- but now, the entire swarm couldn't respond when even their leader didn't truly want any of this. The Lesser slumped and chirped to the skies. It couldn't feel much as a member of the hive mind, but there was the smallest tinge of hope that it had inherited from Chromo's deepest subconscious.

"Hey, I remember the Namekian, his name is Mollusc!" Nashua quickly replied, offended that the bug would even suggest she'd somehow forgotten one of her oldest friends. ...Okay, maybe calling him a 'friend' was a bit generous, given the amount of times he'd insulted her and beat her up, but she considered him a close ally nonetheless, for his dependability alone. Who did this insect think he was to insist some people he'd murdered were a higher priority than the three heroes Nashua was trying to revive? Not that she truly considered certain lives to outweigh others, but, in the grand scheme of things, the people she was closest to held her priorities. Maybe that was selfish, but it wouldn't have hurt the other dead people to, well, stay dead for while longer. It wasn't like there was some time limit on revivals, right?
At this point, Nashua was growing a bit tired of hearing the bio android shout at her - it was all just kind of sounding like unintelligible high pitched squeals at this point, making a bit difficult for her to try and get a word in to calm this little guy down. She still wasn't particularly threatened by him, compared to how they'd stacked up against each other last time. The upper hand seemed clearly in her favor if the bug decided to attack. When his power level began to rise further, though, Nashua's eyebrows furrowed. It more than doubled, more than tripled, even more than quintupled. The beetle boy's power level was suddenly nearly ten times what it had just been. "Wow, so you were still holding back?" Nashua stated in surprise. She was still undeterred, though, much as she'd been proven wrong about him having not grown much stronger since their last encounter.
"I don't get you," she said, her mouth dipping into a frown. "I mean, I'm hardly a grown up, I think. I'm only twenty. That's not that old, yet. Well, not compared to a lot of other adults. You know, only about five or six years ago, before I hit my growth spurt, I was probably barely half a foot taller than you are, now!" At this point, Nashua hoped trying to relate more to the bug would get him to ease off a bit. He was clearly not really seeing her as a person, more just an obstacle that was in the way, and changing that point of view was the most surefire way she could think of to avoid them having to hurt each other. "My point is, I'm just as much of a person as you are, so try not to just see me as 'some evil adult', here. I want to help you out, as much as you might just want to stab me and blow me up again."
With a sigh, Nashua bent her knees and crouched down a bit, so she was at eye level with the snarling creature. Something about this was oddly reminiscent of when she'd had to calm Tarch down before. "Why don't we start by going over to the Guru and asking him what he can do for us, okay? We can see if maybe he or the other Saiyan girl wouldn't mind waiting just a little extra longer to revive their friends. For now, though, I just want you to take some deep breaths, and calm down, alright?" Nashua slowly reached her hand out for the bug's head, and, provided he didn't suddenly snap his jaws at her, gave him a gentle stroke across the top of his head, much like a pet owner would stroke their dog, or a mother her child. "I'm not looking to hurt you, if that's what you're afraid of."

Tarch perched himself behind a nearby boulder. This place was all too familiar. Very possibly the source of the teen’s fear of this entire planet. It felt like only yesterday he was charging in here busting down doors to try and drag out his former teacher and give him a good punch to the face. He never did get to deliver that blow now that he thought about it. For now, in terms of blows, he just had to hope Nashua and Chromo wouldn’t be trading any.
So far they were not. The hybrid wouldn’t even need to use his emotion sensing to feel the remorse soaked desperation from the smaller of the two. Was that why he was here? There were many questions swimming through Tarch’s brain, but the idea that he had someone else helping him on his hunt… someone else he cared about, at one point more than anyone else. Chromo wanted to fix things as much, if not more than he did. He couldn’t forgive him though, not that easily. Besides, Tarch was probably just getting ahead of himself. What if the little insect was just here to wish for an endless supply of hetap? Or even if he did bring his mom back, he still killed her, to begin with!
"Better not steal this you little..."
As these thoughts slowly simmered in Tarch’s mind, his power would slowly grow out of his control, alerting anyone with the capacity to scout out power levels to feel his presence, and Nashua was likely the only person present who could pick him out with that scouter of hers. As far as Tarch was aware, Chromo had no way of knowing he was there. At least he hoped.Luckily he caught it in time to lower back down. He was after all getting ahead of himself. More than anything, Tarch wanted to forgive and forget, rather than bring more death and sadness. So he tried his best to push those thoughts away.
His other hopes were put to rest, however. It seemed Nashua was more interested in talking out this fight rather than punching it out. Tarch let out a short relieved sigh. Forgiven or not, Tarch was going to be the only one that gets to beat up the bug. Maybe his mother when she came back too. After all, she was the one that was killed, she deserved to get a good hit in more than anyone else.
“Thank you, Nashua.” he projected in what would be heard as a low whisper in her head. Tarch figured she would have already noticed he was here with his little unintentional flare-up. So with that in mind, he figured he may as well let his voice be heard so to speak. “Just please, be careful.” Peaceful intentions or not, Tarch knew that little Chromo was almost impossible to reason with whenever he became agitated. “And if he does go off on you, please, don’t hurt him… too badly.”

CHROMO'S PL: 1,976,000 (x13P | 152k BASE)
Remaining blissfully unaware of his former friend that was lurking nearby, Chromo would continue to glare at the saiyan. He'd only hiss again to further try and fail to threaten Nashua as she commented on his new power. "And there's more where this came from if you keep being S-STUPID!" He barked again, further closing and lowering his posture.
...What he didn't expect, though, was the saiyan to keep talking, much calmer than before. The red glint began to fade from his gaze, the rage being briefly replaced with thought and bewilderment as Nashua commented on her own height problems from before. He had some Saiyan genetics in him- did that mean he'd get a growth spurt to be as tall as her? Chromo bopped his head again to snap himself back to reality- he had to think about Dragon Balls, not his shortness! She had to be trying to distract him to take him by surprise!
Even though his attention briefly drifted and he'd unintentionally opened himself to attack, though, Nashua didn't punch his face yet. Chromo's brown eyes narrowed, and he forced his jaws into another threatening snarl.
Nashua said she still wanted to help him. Chromo raised his brow. His firey ki slowly began to peeter as he narrowed his eyes suspiciously at his opponent. "If this is another sick p-prank, I'm gonna..." He didn't admit it aloud, but Nashua did have a point. She hadn't attacked him yet- though she was kind of mean a few seconds ago with her earlier verbal lash at his motives, Chromo truly couldn't blame her. He wanted to solve things without bloodshed this time, but that still seemed like it was beyond him.
Though he'd began to calm and drift in thought, Chromo's shrunken pupils would dart towards the saiyan as she'd crouched in front of him. The offer to talk to that Guru guy was tempting. Chromo had crossed paths with Oboe a few times, and he'd always seemed nice, though being perpetually on-edge made the bio-android distrustful. He jerked his head back and skittered a few paces backwards as Nashua tried to touch him, speaking again in a low growl. "Didn't you say that you didn't wanna give up any of your dumb wishes like three seconds ago?" The beetle grumbled. The last of his aura had faded, but the power he held remained at it's peak.
"I-I barely know you, and you barely know me! Why should I trust that you'll keep your stinkin' word and not turn t-traitor when I let my guard down!?" It wouldn't be very hard for her to get that Guru guy, then team up after luring him into a false sense of security to stab him in the back, and then take their wishes and his Dragon Ball for themselves... But if she had a good answer to that question, he'd consider following her ploy. There was that aching part of him that yearned for the attention he'd lost, as distrustful as he'd become of any and all relationships with others.
Chromo lowered his body further, curling protectively around the Three-Star Dragon Ball. He briefly turned his head, eyeing a slip of paper that poked out from under his folded wings... Silently, he adjusted his wings to safely hide the letter once more. At the very least, he'd learned something from his mistakes.

It wasn’t hard to feel the collection of surging powers in the distance – nor was it rocket science when referred to by his Dragon Radar to consider that it had something to do with the two additional wish orbs that suddenly had joined Nashua’s (and his). A panic overtook Guru. While he knew that there were others also searching for the wish orbs upon his world, he wasn’t quite concerned until their powers began to flare and dissipate. Clearly, whomever was approaching either couldn’t control their power or couldn’t hide their exuberance at the chance to take the orbs from the mightiest of Saiyans.
“…Nashua…”
Oboe had recruited the Saiyans help – albeit out of necessity – to ensure that the wish orbs that had been gathered by Casca, Flip and himself remained safe and out of the reach of those who would use them for selfish means. With the lives of so many lost – both here and on Earth – Oboe had been made more than aware that the Dragon Balls would need to be used to revive those who had been forced to perish before their time. So, when he felt more powers than he felt the Saiyan could deal with? He immediately exploded with speed and flew towards the horizon where he’d sensed their rising flow.
Nashua’s safety was his responsibility. Strange as that may have sounded due to her sheer prodigious strength, it’s how Guru viewed the situation. Everyday that she held the Dragon Balls she had a target painted on her back, one so large and so bright that it was attractive to any and all who wanted to take the chance to make their dreams come true. Ideally, as he’d had time and many discussions with those who needed the Dragon Balls, Oboe had come to the conclusion on how to ensure everyone got the justice they’d wished for…while also leaving two of the three wishes intact to be used for other things. So long as the orbs stayed in Nashua’s – and by proxy his – possession, there was no chance of those needs being circumvented by others wants.
And yet here you are, rushing off to save the day because you don’t know whats happening. You could’ve used your telepathic abilities, sensed the area and viewed it from afar…but no. Once again Guru you throw yourself in the line of fire for those who wouldn’t do the same for you
Steno’s active consciousness chastised him for his decisions to rush headlong into a battle he may not be welcome in. But as Oboe’s thoughts reminded the other, there was no indication a battle had even occurred in the first place! Ignoring his guardian, Oboe poured the speed on before finally coming to rest above the clouds staring down at the scene. His ears picked up most of what was being said, but to his benefit he kept his distance. He’d noticed Tarch, and Nashua and…the strange bug creature he’d seen before? Curious. It seemed from the conversation that something important was going on, so to not exasperate the issue further – Oboe decided to take a wait and see approach, all the while letting his two Saiyan friends know that he was there. His voice would echo in their mind;
Tarch, Nashua, I’m above you right now – What’s going on? Is everything alright? Tarch…I’m sensing a large amount of distress from you…

Well, the bug wasn't so keen to let Nashua pet him, but he did seem like he was calming down a bit, in any case. "Well, it's true, I don't want to delegate any of the wishes over towards you," Nashua replied at his skepticism, "But then, I never got anything I did want by doing what I wanted, did I? Well, not often, anyway." She let out a sigh, perhaps feeling another tug of reluctance at giving this bug his chance to potentially redeem himself. Had benefiting a villain ever actually benefited her, in some way? Placing some trust in Boreal had really only served to get her demoted, asking Vocado to work with Bosmika had gotten the little rabbit killed, and trusting that Hale was unlike the other Arcosians had been proven a clear mistake after his outburst that could have cost them the Lookout. So, why trust this one?
Regardless, Nashua shook her head when the bio android expressed further doubt. "Because that isn't the type of person I am," she firmly stated. "Unlike the people who often oppose me, I see no merit in attacking someone when they don't pose a threat to you. I have only ever fought in defense of myself or others, and that is all I ever intend to fight for." Right, that was why she continued to place faith in other people regardless of their circumstances. If nobody ever put trust in them, they'd have no path to redemption they could possibly follow, even as likely as there may have been consequences to such a naive outlook on things. That much she'd been told plenty of times before, though the apparent naivety of her own actions had never quite seemed like such an issue to her. She'd lived this long anyway, hadn't she?
Though Nashua had thought they were alone, previously, two presences made themselves known - one of which even spoke directly into her head. "Tarch? Why are you- Oh, nevermind. I don't think he even wants to fight me, as far as I can tell, so don't worry about it." Tarch spoke quite warily of this little bug, though, and that much allowed Nashua to start putting two and two together. "Although, now that I think about it, perhaps I already have a wish in your favor after all," Nashua mused as a smile crept onto the corners of her lips. "Tell me, the name of one of the people you killed... It wouldn't happen to have been Kohlra, would it? A bit of an older mother to another Saiyan boy named Tarch? Because, well, that was one of the people I'd already included on my 'to revive' list."
As for the other new presence, all Nashua had to do was glance up and frown as the second voice's identity was clear as day. "Did you guys both follow me here together? Well, I appreciate that you may have thought me in danger, but I must say, it'd quite probably be best for you two to make a hasty exit. I fear the bug might be overwhelmed and begin to lash out if you two make yourselves known to him. I can assure you both that things seem to be quite under control, now." Much as she herself did not mind the presences of the two others, it was more the worry of the insect in front of her to begin thinking she'd rounded up her friends to ambush him that had Nashua so cautious. Not that they couldn't quell him by force if they absolutely needed to, but... That was an alternative best avoided.

As he figured, Nashua was a little confused on why Tarch was there. Though he didn’t give an answer, he did give a mental groan. Why were the adults always so insistent on him being present being a bad thing? If things take a turn for the worst, Tarch might have been the only one there that could do anything. Sure that left him the question of ‘what would he do?’ but that was all hypothetical anyway. He did not, however, anticipate the Guru showing up and joining in the telepathic conversation. Now as much as he respected Mr. Oboe, especially after he went ahead and gave him his radar, Tarch was not thrilled on the prospect of Chromo finding both of them.
He also jumped to his own defense when Nashua asked if the two came together to help her. “No! Or rather, I came here on my own. I just followed the radar Mr. Oboe gave me. When I sensed you two… I wanted to make sure you were okay… both of you.” If the teen’s brain could gag it would have. Even thinking about the small care he had for the bug made him feel sick to his stomach. He murdered his mother. But he was his best friend. Who murdered his mother. Because he abandoned him. This was a moral dilemma that no teenager of any age should face. Heck, no adult should face it either as far as Tarch was concerned. Luckily Oboe’s questions would be enough to distract him. Sort of. He would inevitably have to explain the situation a little further if he was going to be completely honest with the Guru.
“Hi Mr. Oboe,” he projected in a downtrodden tone. “I think everything is okay. It’s just… You see that bug over there? He’s my… was my best friend. He’s why I’m here.” Though he didn't explicitly say it, he hoped that Mr. Oboe would understand his meaning. Now he just had to find out of the Demonic Monkey Lizard really wanted to help. At that moment Tarch made up his mind. If Chromo really was here to help make things right, then there was no way Tarch could feel good about leaving him again. Even if it was to play the warden, watching the bug’s every move to make sure he was being honest, Tarch would not leave. “S-sorry Nashua. But if he does go crazy then I think I’m the one who can calm him down.” This next part was what the young hybrid was worried about. Would it be selfish to ask Mr. Oboe to leave? At the very least, he could agree with the sentiment that Nashua had. “Mr. Oboe, I think Nashua is right otherwise. If Chromo spots you WITH her, then it could be… bad. But I’m not going anywhere. I’ll keep my power hidden and stay quiet, but I need to make sure Chromo is really here to help me.” Stubborn, selfish, and a little scared. So scared he wouldn't even tell either of the two adults where he was. Not that he was well hidden to begin with, but Tarch didn't want to give any hints that he was behind the boulder not to far from Chromo's back.
