Typha's answer to Yogu's question shocked him. What the hell did he mean?! Too dangerous? How could this guy be dangerous to them? They were already dead! "You're joking, right? You're saying I can't help you find this guy because it's too dangerous? Man, I've died TWICE now! I'm not exactly terrified of danger." Typha went into a story about how he once idolized this Plato guy. He talked about how Plato had lost his humanity in his search for strength. This story made Yogu worried about his constant search for getting stronger. And his search for a way of getting rid of Monster. Could both of those things eventually lead him down the path of losing his humanity?
Even if he did lose his humanity, he would be stopping Monster, right? That's what a hero does. They stop the bad thing and protect people, no matter the cost. Self sacrifice was pretty much entirely what a Hero does! And Yogu had promised Nashi he'd become a hero and help people. He was failing at that promise up until now. Maybe this was the one chance he was going to get to fulfill that promise. Even if it did cost him his humanity, it'd be worth it. That probably wasn't the takeaway Typha had in mind from his story, but it was the one Yogu got. Yogu turned around and started walking away, waving an arm up in the air. "Thanks for the help, Typha. See ya."
After he got a good distance away, he flew off into the depths of Hell. Yogu had a plan. One that wasn't exactly "well thought out" or "made sense" but it was a plan nonetheless. And a plan Yogu was entirely dedicated to seeing through now. There had to be some Konatsian folks somewhere in Hell. And one of them had to have at least basic knowledge of separating the souls of a demon and a Konatsian. "Guess I'll start asking around. It's not like I'm getting revived anytime soon, so I got the time to kill." And so, Yogu's strange quest had begun. Yay.
