Well, that got the konatsian to shut up. Awfully chatty, wasn’t he? And curious too, almost tripped Kalabas on his own words a couple of times, but he was still none the wiser about the saiyan’s very slight bent of truth. The ogre didn’t seem to have caught up either… Good. The Duke had to relax now, delving further into his story would only poke more holes into it, and tip the scales against him. “In all fairness,” began the Duke, focusing on his ki, “you were the ones who went through Hell to catch a glimpse of a fallen super saiyan. I am touched, really. So, for your trouble, allow me to grace you with this...” it was subtle, but the saiyan’s body was changing. With each step he took in the konatsian’s direction he grew taller, his shoulders widened, his muscles grew more defined and his hair shone just that much more brighter “Show me what manner of tricks King Kai taught you, Prince, and in turn I’ll give you a spectacle you won’t forget so soon!” With a final release of power at last the saiyan stood at his absolute maximum! It felt divine. But this would hardly be a fair fight, would it? “Hm. It seems I may have underestimated my own power. What a wonderful problem to have, wouldn't you say?”The saiyan began preparing his attack… by diminishing himself in leaps and bounds. Although his body remained as bulked and swollen, his aura subsided and his power level sunk, then rebounded, to match his Typha’s while still maintaining an however slight edge. He wanted to make the fight fair er, but he was still partial to winning. “This should do for now. Ready?”Without waiting for an answer the saiyan was already launching himself to attack headfirst, arms crossed and hands clawed, ready to swipe away the prince's sword. Kalabas powers up to Ultra Super Saiyan (x17/13T) and uses [ UT1 | UT2 ] Cloak and Dagger to lower his PL!

Typha stared at Kalabas as he seemed ready to fight and he was willing to do so. It would be good training for himself and this Kalabas fellow. Still, his words keep in his mind. He watched as his form changed his body bulking up. It must have been a new form of Super Saiyan he was not aware of. It looked stronger though he could not sense how much so. Since it seemed Kalabas had lowered his own power. He lowered it to just be above Typha but it was not like he'd start out slow. He'd was going to power upright when it was a perfect time too. He'd watched as Kalabas charged at him Yudi leaping back. He had not realized Kalabas power decreased and still assumed that Kalabas was about to pound Typha. "Look out!" He'd yelled but Typha remained still. Typha was waiting until the last minute to power up. Right, when Kalabas got in range he ducked his hair turning a lighter pink. He'd attempt to Knee Kalabas in the gut before swinging the back of his sword into his jaw in order to send him flying across the destroyed mountain. He assumed after that attack Kalabas would get a bit more serious.

Kalabas knew it was too late when the konatsian’s crest flashed an ominous shade of pink “Grk-!” two lungfuls of air escaped the super saiyan’s mouth as a knee was firmly lodged right on his gut, it was a struggle to keep his meal inside! But it wasn’t over yet, the crossed guard failed against the sword, its pommel hit the Duke square in the chin and sent him flying away. Kalabas stopped in mid-air, giving his opponent an astonished look as he popped his jaw back in place. That pain wasn’t going anywhere for sometime. “Not bad... Not bad at all.” a sly smile broke the stern facade “But that is one trick that you cannot pull again. Do me a favour, my good man. Look right...” Kalabas snapped his fingers and disappeared - his immense form shimmered right behind the konatsian “Behind you.”
The super-speeding warrior swung his bent knee at the side of the prince’s head, continuing his frenzied charge with escalating speed and power. “Careful with that sword, you might cut yourself with it.” that blasted thing was going to be a problem... Last time Kalabas fought a sword-wielding he got his face all cut up, but he took steps to ensure that would never happen again. Steps that Typha was going to have to keep up with. With both hands set on the konatsian’s shoulders, with a fluid movement the saiyan swung his legs over and gripped the sword right between his flip-flops’ soles “Confused? Good. Now, allow me to relieve you of this!”With his immense lower strength, the saiyan tried to wrestle the sword from the prince’s grip. Kalabas uses [ UT1 | UT2 ] Cloak and Dagger to raise his PL!

Typha burst of power seemed to have caught the duke right off guard. Yudi looked dumbstruck as he looked over to see Typha had knocked the saiyan over. Typha stared at him as he seemed to not be too angry with the surprise. He did make a good point though Kalabas would not fall for that again. He watched as Kalabas vanished but he could still sense him right behind him. He was fast but not so much faster that he couldn't pick it up. Typha watched as Kalabas knee slammed into his head sending him flying. Typha grunted as he flew and planted his feet into the ground. "What you were beating him what happened!" Yudi yelled. He still didn't know both were lowering and raising their ki's. He had to admit it impressed him Kalabas could do such a thing. He couldn't even pull off the same trick as him.
He could feel Kalabas hands on his shoulders weighing him down before Kalabas used the soles of his flip flops to grip the blade. Typha had to admit that surprised him that someone would do something that in his mind was quite foolish He could feel him trying to rip the sword out of his grip. If he thought it'd be that easy then Kalabas must have not fought many swordsmen. Ki began to blast off his body as he focused it into his blade ready to get back on the attack. Typha pulled back before bringing the sword up as Ki surrounding the blade. "Ki Slash!" Typha swung the blade up to slash Kalabas from above him and send him flying off.

Kalabas let out nothing but a hushed gasp as he was cleaved from head to groin in two perfect halves. The bisected parts flickered and dissipated, nowhere to be seen. “Ki slash, indeed.” grumbled Kalabas, back turned to his opponent, swapping his cut headband for a new one “I assumed you were going to hesitate after such a grapple. Shows you how little I know, I suppose. Well then,” he turned, bent into a more aggressive stance, blood drops shimmering from the cut right above his eyebrow “perhaps I too could do with a lesson or two. Tell me, konatsian, how does one unhand a blade from an enemy’s grasp? Do I wield one in kind?” Kalabas whipped his arm, a stream of energy sprouted from his hand, coalescing into a whip made of solid ki “Or do I procure a less expected avenue? In the end, there are no wrong answers I suppose.” he lashed a nearby boulder, slicing through it at lighting speed until only dirt remained “But perhaps there are. Let us find out.”“DODGE!” Kalabas raised his hand and swung mightily, sending lighting and gales of wind, destroying everything in around the area of the sonic boom. Although his eardrums shrieked and he could feel the air burning against his skin, the saiyan had just learnt one thing… He simply had to perfect this technique. Kalabas uses [SU2] Flashstep (PL:257,400
) to dodge the Ki Slash!

His slash cut through Kalabas as Yudi cheered. They had won but Typha just planted his feet. He could see him reforming and he did doubt such an attack would defeat him. He could still sense ki after all. If Kalbas had been defeated that Ki would have gone to zero but it really had not changed. Still, it was clear he had done some sort of damage. Seems Kalabas assumed he'd have a hint of hesitation. He was a soldier though, he trained all his life to fight other people and to kill them. Then Kalabas began to ask some questions about how to unhand a blade from a foe's grasp. If the swordsman was smart you didn't have a chance but he supposed Kalabas could still ask these questions. He'd watched as he formed a whip of ki which slashed through a boulder. Then he watched as he swung a powerful blow down like him. Typha raised his blade but was still sent flying back towards some nearby destoyed rocks. Typha landed on one of the rocks and kicked off sending a barrage of slashes at Kalabas attempting to overwhelm him with a blitz of sword strikes.

At range the whip had an obvious advantage over the sword, but up-close its great reach would be denied, and the power of each lash greatly diminished - so was it all a matter of keeping the konatsian at bay, then? Kalabas would have to try. Typha used the rock he had landed on as a launchpad, sending himself with utmost speed for a counter-charge of swift surging slices. Kalabas flicked mercilessly, trying to flagellate each inch of exposed skin as many times as he could, fighting for every instant won from stalling his opponent. He had a plan. Building up from his core to his right hand was a growing mass of ki, charging with power beyond that which seemed possible for even a warrior of that might. Not quite ready for release, Kalabas was giving it all to stay in control. If successful, this attack could lead the saiyan to swift victory! If not… well, he could always set his power higher. Kalabas dematerialized the whip and carried on fighting with his fists, swatting the sword’s blade aside in an attempt to close the gap and give Typha the mother of all headbutts. He also made a swift attempt to grip the Prince's wielding arm by the wrist, he wanted that damned thing far, far away from him. Kalabas begins charging [SIG | Force | Enfure] Final Imperial Epitaph (PL:678,300)!

Typha was able to get close but Kalabas was doing something. Typha could sense the rising in Ki from the Saiyan warrior. Typha was not the type to stay close for such an attack. He didn't want to be caught by the power of this attack at such close range. Typha flipped back as Kalabas headbutt came out and skidded to a halt a few yards back. "I sensed the increase in your ki. You have a stronger attack coming yes?" Typha said as he raised his blade in front of him. "I am not worried. I can take it and then i'll attack again." Typha calmly stated. Yudi blinked and raised his sword. "You crazy Typha what if he gets stronger from the attack and does some real damage you won't be able to win idiot." Typha ignored his friend. While for most fighters it was true the degrading of stamina and durability was an issue he was pretty tough and his skills in swordplay had taught him well in dodging powerful attacks before they could reach range. As long as Kalabas keep at the current level of power then Typha felt he could still defeat him. He couldn't risk taking his attack without having his defenses ready. Ki swirled around Typha as he got ready to face Kalabas strongest attack.
