Dosu's PL: 70 000
Was Dosu a respectable and hardworking man, now? Hardworking, yes, but respectable might be a bit subjective. From his point of view, he certainly was, no doubt about it. However, that might differ from the general population’s opinion. Of course, the most evil contracts were done in secrecy, but to get rid of their bad reputation, they had to perform contracts that would help them gain some kind of support from the Earthlings.
In order to do that, a bit of trickery was needed. They had received a contract about a rather secretive group of scientists trying to build a weapon in order to fight evil. Of course, in light of these good, but extreme ideas, it was quite easy to portray them as evil. Since they were quite secretive and independent, they could try and justify themselves all they wanted, it would take some time to convince the masses, even more after being exposed by the Stargoons. To the public eye, they’d be doing the planet a service and avoid unnecessary conflict by dismantling their facility. In truth, they’d be dealing a blow to the forces of good.
To make it seem more like they were on the right side, the contractor offered a journalist to follow them on the field, ensuring their protection so they could get the scoop, while offering a different take on the Stargoons people have grown to hate, hopefully. Two birds with one stone, basically.
Of course, they had to rendezvous at a specific location, from which they’d travel to the location of the base. Throughout the operation, Dosu would protect said journalist -a hindrance to him, but whatever- and then usual business, except there was a no-kill rule. Otherwise, that wouldn’t portray them in a better light at all.
Arrived first on the premise, Dosu waited until said journalist arrived.
