Aizu stepped down from the healing pod, stretching out his stiff limbs and flexing his tail. The chief medical officer awaited him as he left the tank and examined his repaired body. The stump below his right elbow was now capped with a metal prosthesis. A thick armored cable trailed from one side, leading up to his shoulder, where it entered beneath the Warmaster’s skin and linked directly to his nervous system. As he gazed at the empty space where his hand had once been, he swore he could feel it itch for a brief moment.
“It’s a universal prosthetic port, Warmaster. It can connect a number of different bionics directly to your central nervous system, giving you as much control of them as if they were your own flesh and blood.” The science officer said, taking note of the Arcosian’s morbid fascination with his mutilated arm.
“I assumed you’d just give me a mechanical hand.” Aizu said, turning to face the teal-skinned woman. She smiled.
“You have far more variety available to you than a simple functional replacement. If you’ll come with me, we can look at some of your options.” She guided him out of the healing chamber and down a series of corridors. Eventually they came to a chamber filled with dozens of racks. Each contained bionic attachments of varying types. Some were legs, arms, tails, hands, eyepieces and even cranial implants. His attention was drawn to a particular rack, however. Before the science officer could speak, he had wandered over to inspect its contents more closely.
“Ah, I suppose it should be no surprise that these caught your eye.” She smiled again, stepping over to the rack. “These are our combat prosthetics. Designed to increase the effectiveness of cybernetic fighters. They might suffer a little in terms of everyday functionality and some of them are a little… esoteric, but you can’t argue with the intimidation value.” She said, watching Aizu’s yellow eyes wandering across the arsenal before him.
“Yes,” he said quietly, looking lost in thought. Then, he saw it. His expression hardened, and he turned to her with a steely gaze.
“That one,” he said, pointing with his cybernetic stump.

The training grounds were sparsely populated when Aizu walked out onto the rain-soaked expanse. Not due to the inclement weather, but the recent Saiyan attack. The Fleet were now on high alert. Patrols had been stepped up across the system, more thorough searches of incoming space traffic were in effect, and ‘suspicious persons’ were being rounded up for interrogation. The remaining Arcosian lords were shaking in their proverbial boots at the prospect of Saiyan infiltrators continuing to disrupt and destroy their schemes. As such, many who would normally be honing their skills at the training facility were now on assignments, dealing with the apparent state of emergency.
As several combat drones emerged from a storage bay beneath the concrete and moved into attack formation, Aizu smiled. His new right hand hummed with power as he signalled them to begin the combat simulation. Two drones swept to the sides, aiming to catch him in a pincer maneuver. The central automaton fired an energy bolt from its wrist-mounted cannon. The Warmaster didn’t even flinch as it came hurtling towards him. Closer and closer it came, til it was almost within arm’s reach. With lightning speed, his right arm snapped up, catching the blast and detonating it harmlessly. Smoke rose from the thick claws of his new bionics as they opened, revealing their bladed inner edges. A moment later he leapt to the right, simultaneously avoiding one flanking drone, while crashing into the other. As he bore down on the mechanoid, his new claw bit down over its shoulder. Servos and pistons whined as the Warmaster’s prosthesis slowly tore into the mechanoid’s armored chassis. The arm was sheared away entirely, and the claws kept going. Like the jaws of some metal monster they crunched their way through the drone’s internal components, leaving it a useless wreck.
He tore the claw free just in time to spin and bring it down like a hammer on another drone’s head. It crunched audibly as its domed head was forced into the concrete. Strips of shredded metal and torn cables flew as the drone was handily dispatched by the Arcosian’s cybernetic fury. Suddenly, an energy bolt struck his pauldron, glancing off harmlessly but drawing his attention to the final drone charging towards him. Thinking fast, he scooped up the severed, dented-in skull of the previous drone and hurled it from his remaining flesh-and-blood hand. It struck the attacker right in his photoreceptors, knocking him off balance as Aizu leapt upon him like some frenzied beast. He snarled as his claw tore the armored automaton apart, leaving little more than a ragged chassis. He raised the drone’s skeletal remains, the mechanisms of his claw revving up. With a shriek of tearing metal and the crackle of electricity, the thing exploded. Smoke and debris filled the area as a gaggle of onlookers cautiously gathered nearby.
Lightning arced between the bladed talons of the Warmaster’s new fist as he emerged from the haze, barging past the gormless spectators on his way to a new arena. Training instructors bustled out of his way as he strode by, bellowing a single order:
“MORE DRONES!”

“Finally, took long enough to find this place.”
Masu had figured that the World Trade Fleet had plenty of benefits to offer when he joined them; For instance, the black tanktop, combat pants and boots he had received fit him nicely. He had also hoped that they had somewhere to train and the place he had landed at did not disappoint. From what he had heard, this facility was one of many. In fact, Arcose seemed to be densely populated with buildings that were affiliated with the World Trade Fleet. It figured as much, Arcosians ran the Fleet and this was their home planet.
From what Masu had heard, Arcose had been getting quite interesting recently; Something about a conflict with Saiyans. The prince thought of the Saiyans that he had met on Earth, and images of large-scale battles with them went through his mind. He remembered how one of them had transformed into a giant gorilla and tensed up. Having to stare down an army of those things wasn’t a very comforting thought. If he wanted to be able to challenge one of them, he was going to have to get stronger. A lot stronger. And in his experience, training your body and your mind was the best way to prepare.
The training grounds were relatively empty when he arrived, save for a larger Arcosian and a group watching him. He looked to be battling mechanical drones on his own. His debated if he should try to spar with him; The last time he had a fight with an Arcosian he had been left unconscious. The prince landed behind the small mob of onlookers to watch for himself.
“So, who’s he?” He asked one of the soldiers closer to the back of the crowd.
“That’s Warmaster Aizu.” The troop replied without even looking to see who had asked the question.
“He recently lost a battle with a Saiyan. Lost his hand.”
Masu looked and saw the Arcosian did in fact have a mechanical right hand.
“Aw, the poor lizard.” The prince remarked. “Maybe a spar will cheer him up.” With Suketo still on her way, Masu figured that this Aizu character was a good a sparring opponent as her. He started shoving past surprised onlookers to enter the arena.
“Where I’m from we usually fight against living, breathing opponents.” He remarked while stretching his arms. “Those drones must be pretty high quality if you’re fighting against them instead.”
The new drones that the Warmaster had ordered had already come out of their storage unit and were hovering in a sort of standby position. “How about it?” He asked as he powered himself up and assumed a fighting stance. “Feel like trading metal for man?”
This wasn’t a fight he could win; but then, this wasn’t one he had to win either. He already figured he was going to have to work with Suketo when she arrived like last time. He just hoped this time he would fare better.

News had spread like wildfire about the happenings of the World Trade Fleet. So much drama caused by Saiyans, who they had met on their first missions, leading to death and mutilation on both sides of these battles... yet not a single call to the two foreign royals for assistant. Such crap! Suketo was getting tired of it! But, finally, contacts and deliveries had gave them information on a training ground. And the two were sure as hell going to go there!
Suketo and Masu both got the same simple outfit from the fleet; a black shirt, combat boots and pants. She put on her arm wraps, tightening them in anticipation. A strong smirk was across her face as the excitement filled evdery inch of her body. She hadn't fought anyone but Masu in so long, and even if they didn't defeat anyone, it would be good training for them! Raising her hand, she pulled her spear to her before walking to the door, turning when a croak was released from Pudge, her Namekian frog.
"No, buddy, this is too dangerous! Now Suke's going to kick some ass!" She called back, flying out of the ship and following Masu's familiar ki. Soon, the demon looked down, spotting a group of onlookers surrounding a field. And on the field was a fairly large Arcosian and... Masu. The last time the two fought an Arcosian this size was their initiation what felt like an eternity ago. Quickly she landed next to her partner, standing up straight.
"Sorry I'm late." She said with a smirk, though inside, she was cringing as the strength of this apponent resonated strongly. Suketo leaned over to Masu. "I guess we should prepare to get our asses beat... but remember what we've trained. If we have a chance to instill a good amount of damage on him, we have to combine out techniques. Got it?" She said before turning to their opponent. "Me and him are a packaged deal. He fights, I'm by his side." She closed her eyes, powering up as her hands became enveloped with flame like ki. Opening her eyes back up, they were glowing gold. "So here's to a good spar!"

With a heavy swing of his power claw, the Warmaster gutted another drone, leaving a heap of twisted metal and circuitry where only minutes before there had been a dozen combat droids. As it collapsed amidst the wreckage, Aizu heard a shout from behind.
Spinning, he saw a young humanoid. Almost Saiyan in appearance, though lacking the tail and wild hair that were their trademarks. He mocked Aizu's mechanoid massacre, challenging him to fight a flesh and blood opponent. The Warmaster grinned, rounding on the young man as he powered up.
"None here have been worth sparring with. But if you think you've got what it takes, feel free to step in, little man. I won't deny you a beating." He raised his power claw, beckoning Masu to approach with a flex of its talons.
Before things could go any further, however, a voice came from high above. A female dropped from a ship overhead, calling out to them. She seemed to have a more realistic idea of how this would go for them, but Aizu clipped his Scouter into place and scanned the pair anyway. Powered up, they still couldn't match him in his current form but they seemed enthusiastic.
"In the name of a good spar, let's make this a little more interesting!" He said, slamming both fists into the ground as his body started to convulse. Within moments, his hulking form diminished to his squat suppressed state. As he rose back to standing, his claw was now almost comically oversized, yet he still wielded it as though the hefty bionic weighed nothing.
"This should make things a little more even. Now, for introductions." With a wave of his hand, a kiai whipped across the arena, casting the remnants of his mechanical victims away. "I am Warmaster Aizu," he said with a formal bow. "Who do I have the pleasure of sparring with?"

The large Arcosian had accepted. “Good,” Masu thought to himself. “He actually thinks I’m strong enough to be worth sparring. That, or he just wants to pound something that’s alive…”
The gap between him and the Arcosian was large, so the prince was glad that Suketo showed up when she did. Masu nodded to his partner after she spoke of working together. He could feel that they had both gotten both stronger and faster. Her more so than himself. He was determined to close that gap, if not by raw power than by skill. He didn't want her to always be the lead when they fought together. The Arcosian powering down was the confidence boost that Masu needed. His power decreased by about half, as did his size. Now this would be a more fair, perhaps even winnable fight. As he finished powering down, he introduced himself as Warmaster Aizu. Even though he didn’t know what Warmaster meant, judging by its context it sounded like a fairly important position.
“My name is Masu Hiyama. I’m but a humble low-ranking soldier.” Tucking his feet together and putting his arms at his side, the prince returned the bow. “And the pleasure is ours, Warmaster.”

A smirk spread on Suketo's face when the Arcosian accepted their spar. More excitement rose once the towering creature powered himself down, making it more even than it was before. However, the demon could still sense that he was still stronger than her powered up, even in this weakened form. She would still do her best, and follow both Masu's and her own fighting technique. She had learned more organized warfare through her companion, while she taught her animalistic fighting to him. As she listened to Masu's introduction, she was surprised about his humility. He commonly would shove his royal status in other's faces, even as they were far from their ruling planet. It seemed he was accepting his place in all of this as she did. Using her telekinesis to hold her staff, she gave a bow to their competitor, putting her feet together and her arm across her abdomen, bowing to him. Though the status of "warmaster" wasn't used in Tayonan military, she knew by the sound of it that it was a high rank.
"Pleased to meet you, Warmaster. I am Suketo Sanichi. The two of us are low ranked soldiers of the fleet. We thought a nice spar would be good training, no matter who the victor is." She stood back up straight, pulling her spear back into her hand. Even though she was calm on the outside, inside she was giddy like a child on their birthday. She had missed the feeling of combat, her only having Masu to fight. Now she would feel that sense of excitement once again.

Aizu listened as the pair introduced themselves. They were Suketo Sanichi and Masu Hiyama, apparently. Low-ranked soldiers of the Fleet, though with unusually good manners, even returning his bow with some flourishes of their own. Most Fleet troopers were scum - often ex-criminals, poorly educated, or just plain stupid. There was something… Strange about this pair. Dismissing the thought for the moment, Aizu stepped back towards the center of the training arena.
“Let’s lay down some ground rules. First: No leaving the arena, if you get pushed out of bounds you lose. Second: No flying. Jump as high as you like, but if you don’t fall back towards the ground, that’s cheating and you forfeit the match. Third: No killing. If I think you’re trying to kill me, I can transform, and you don’t want that to happen. In turn, I won’t try any lethal blows on you two. If you can’t agree to those rules, better speak up fast.” With that, Aizu turned and gave a hand signal to one of the training instructors on the edge of the arena. The Brenchian nodded and hit a control that lit up the borders of the arena with a pale white glow. The area was circular, and approximately 150 metres in diameter. Without warning, the arena itself rose up from the ground, ascending several feet before grinding to a halt, now clearly a raised ring for the fighters. The sparse few other Fleet soldiers on the field began to congregate near the arena, eager to catch a glimpse of these powerful fighters.
“Looks like we’ve got ourselves an audience,” Aizu remarked, noticing the small gathering from the corner of his eye. “Let’s give ‘em a good show!” With that, the starting countdown began, giving Masu and Suketo seconds to get into position. The instructor’s voice boomed across the speaker system.
“5…”
“4…”
“3…”
“2…”
“1…”
“FIGHT!”

Masu stretched his arms as he listened to Aizu list off the rules. Not being able to fly would be interesting; Sure, he could fight without flying, but not having that extra dimension of space to work with could pose a problem. After the arena rose into the air, however, the rule made much more sense.
The prince’s mind was already teeming with strategies to knock the Arcosian out of the arena even before the countdown started. Having two people was already a massive advantage in this scenario, despite the difference in strength.
As soon as the instructor finished his countdown, there was almost no noise in the area other than the wind and a few whispers from the crowd. Masu quickly moved himself farther from the edge of the platform and took up a defensive stance.
“Suketo, we’re going to wear him down and wait for an opening.” He said in a hushed voice.
“If we just stay defensive, he’s bound to turn his back to one of us, when he does, that’s our opportunity.” Masu knew there was a solution to winning this fight; and he was more than eager to find it.

Suketo listened to the rules, standing straight as she tried to set some sort of strategy in her mind. She was disappointed when flying was forbidden, but she could move past it. Besides, with some help from her telekinesis, she was able to jump fairly high. As the arena rose higher, she looked at the group watching them. Let's hope the two royals could give them a good show, unlike with Wintoz. When they fought him, it was clear they didn't have a chance. However, the two had become a true team, and trained to work with each others techniques. Listening to Masu, she got in a defensive stance, holding her hands in front, the flame ki remaining around them. Usually, she would go straight into the offensive, but Masu taught her that the defense was just as important as the offense. With all the new strategies she learned, she was ready to kick some ass with Masu, excited to have a real fight once again.
"Got it. We work together, we can get some damage on this guy. Keep an eye out if there's anything we can use for the offensive. I'll get it to us. Let's do it, partner." Suketo said, staring down her opponent with a fire in her eyes.

The pair of soldiers strategised quietly between themselves for a brief moment, while Aizu rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck. A tense quiet fell over the training ground. The Warmaster’s power claw snapped open and closed as the mechanisms within revved up to full power. Shrugging his shoulders once more and flicking his tail against the ground, he psyched himself up for the fight ahead, bouncing from one foot to the other as he warmed up. After a few moments, it became apparent that the pair wanted to play a defensive game. That suited him just fine. He would give them something to defend against. This fight represented an opportunity to test his new bionic appendage, and he wanted to take full advantage of it.
“I hope you’ve got some fight in you. I’ll be disappointed if this turns out to be an easy victory,” he quipped to his opponents. The motors in his claw practically roared within their housing as he stared them down. He knew that working together would give them an advantage, making up for their relatively lower battle power compared to his own. If he wanted to negate that advantage, it would be a simple matter of divide and conquer. He simply had to pick a target to focus on. Under his breath, he muttered a little rhyme:
“Ippy-dippy, my space-shippy,” he said to himself, eyes flicking from one opponent to the other with every beat. “On a course so true,” his voice rose a little in volume as he went on, to the point where Masu and Suketo might be able to make out a few of the words. “Past planet Zoon, and Konats’ moon, the one I choose is…” His eyes moved once more, settling on the female fighter, Suketo.
“You.”
With a wordless battlecry, he leapt into action. He went charging towards Suketo, his claw clamped shut once more, forming a hefty metal fist. He bore down on her, his right arm poised to strike, bringing the mighty claw up to strike her in the gut, hoping to stun her for a follow-up attack.
Let battle commence! Aizu chooses Suketo as his first target.

“Right. Try to damage him where you can, but remember that our win condition is getting him out of the ring.” If this fight became an endurance match, Masu knew that they would no doubt fall to the Arcosian's superior strength. There was no way they could win by just using brute force.
“Is he…singing?” Masu swore he could hear the Arcosian saying a rhyme under his breath. He didn’t have long to ponder this however, as Aizu lurched toward Suketo at an alarming speed. It seemed his goal was to eliminate her first; Either he knew she was the stronger of the two or he was just choosing at random. The prince hoped it was the latter of the two. The last thing they needed was for Aizu to also have concocted a plan. At any rate, he knew that the last thing you want in a battle is to let your opponent have their way. Acting quickly, he inserted himself in the Aizu's path and threw an uppercut at the Warmaster, aiming to launch him into the air where he would be helpless due to his own no flight rule.

The sound of the Arcosian’s mechanical arm echoed throughout the surrounding area. That damn fist would cause quite a bit of damage. She almost saw the damage firsthand as the warmaster sang a little rhyme and aimed for her. Damn it, of course she was the first target! As he launched towards the princess, she quickly was able to duck, sliding slightly on her knees past him, the fist passing her face by only a couple inches. He was fast… really fast. This was going to be a hard battle, but with the two royals teamed up, maybe they could at least get some damage on him. Once she slid behind him, she reached her hand out, pulling her spear into her hands and impaling it into the ground, grasping it and slightly launching herself into the air like an acrobat, using her telekinesis to make her jump higher, going above their competitor. Masu had already aimed to hit the Arcosian, so she focused on where he was about to hit the ground. Before landing on her feet, she began shooting ki to where she suspected he would land. Finally, she landed, using her powers to yank the spear back into her hands and getting into a battle position, having one hand out to detonate her ki balls. Hopefully this would give quite a bit of damage to the man.

The Warmaster hurtled forward, seeing Masu dart into his path. The soldier brought around his fist, making to uppercut him, but too slow. The Arcosian's superior reflexes gave him the wherewithal to smack aside the attack with a forearm, twisting in mid-air as Suketo slid below him on her knees. He watched her spring behind him, using her spear to vault high into the air. He rolled as time almost seemed to slow, watching as her form eclipsed the sun, bathing him in her shadow.
His wide-eyed look of surprise turned to a grin as he found himself enjoying this contest. The pair had already proven themselves capable of catching him off-guard. She scattered ki blasts across the arena, right where he was set to land. Curling into a defensive ball, Aizu weathered the storm as the detonations began, tossing him around like a volleyball. When he opened his eyes he was hurtling towards the edge of the arena!
Unfurling from his coiled posture, Aizu thrust his palms behind. Two scarlet beams of energy struck the arena floor, driving him back towards the pair like booster rockets. He cut off the beams, landing on his feet and marching towards them.
"Impressive!" He called out to them. "You work well together. Had me on the ropes for a moment there, even!" He chuckled, a wide grin plastered across his face. "Now let's get serious!" He shouted, leaping through the air to his right and levelling a blast straight for Masu's chest. A fierce wave of red light shot from his flesh-and-blood hand, lancing towards the soldier with enough force to topple buildings.

Flying backwards from Aizu’s hit, Masu managed to catch himself at the edge of the arena. He was grateful that Suketo was at least able to land a couple blows on their opponent, but that didn’t take away from his frustration of being slapped away like a fly. He didn’t have time to dwell on that for too long, however, as a blast came straight towards him. Acting quickly, he threw up an afterimage and dodged it, firing a hasty energy blast back at his opponent, hoping it could distract him enough to give an opening to Suketo.

A confident smirk showed itself on Suketo's face. They were actually putting the warmaster on the ropes, even for a second. If the two could keep this up, maybe they could have a chance to win. Even the onlookers around the stage were fully focused on the two low ranking fleet members fighting Aizu. But as soon as Aizu regained his stance, they were back to fighting.
As the Arcosian's attention focused on Masu, Suketo took a deep breath. Time to put her powers to the real test. Standing still for a second with her eyes closed, she then opened them, raising her hands and ripping out pillars of stone flooring from the arena, leaving holes all around. Masu was facing her, so he saw them and knew to be careful. Moving her hands, she arranged them in the air like stairs, her climbing up, standing high above the remaining arena. This didn't count as flying, surely, since she was standing on the floating platforms. Moving her hands, she moved the stone platforms, then launched multiple ki balls all around, them just floating in the air. Once they were set, she pulled up her spear. Finally, she jumped over Aizu, her spear in one hand.
"TETORA MINES!" She called out, detonating the ki, shattering the stones then using her powers to launch them all over. Her feet were pointed straight down, hoping to kick down their opponent before launching him into the flying boulders.
