Vangreth's PL: 34,000 Anti-sense: Active
‘’ I’m sorry sir, but you’ll have to buy something else if you want to stay any longer, it’s a restaurant here, not a random resting place for wanderers. So, can I get you anything, or will you kindly take yourself outside? Anything will do, as long as you have the money for it.’’ The voice speaking was polite, yet firm; the typical voice of a well-spoken manager who was used to people squatting his place for way too long, playing on his generosity. He looked at Vangreth from above with a neutral face, although one could see that he was holding back some things he wanted to say, and Vangreth had an idea what it was about, and preferred not to mention it to the man; he didn’t need to attract the doubt and fear of those people, he was just here to take a rest and something to satisfy his hunger and thirst… how was he supposed to know he had to take the first step? The Muko-jin had a saddened face, after all he learned only a few days ago… how could he even get out of this situation? He knew now that this thing around his neck was holding him down… and more responsibilities came crashing on him, and that pain was, while subtle, pretty obvious on his facial expression as he glanced up to look at the manager and gave him a polite smile; he had been looking at the menu for almost an hour, but that was not important. ‘’ I’ll take your Chicken Wings combo, with a soda. I’m sorry If I caused any problem at all, I’ll be gone once I’m done eating. ‘’ The manager seemed shocked for a moment before noting what he had said; he was most likely expecting Vangreth to be just another wandering homeless alien or something similar, that would go away, mumbling, after he asked him to. Once the tall man returned behind the counter, Vangreth looked outside the window to see the beautiful view of Mt. Paozu from the roots where the restaurant was located; a small town, surrounded by the wild life of the Southern Tropics. A few minutes passed and Vangreth received his command, the smell of it all reminding him of Casca… he should see her again at some point! He ate it all fairly quickly before getting up and leaving zenis on the table, his soda in hand. Once he got out of the restaurant, Vangreth popped his neck, letting out a few ‘crack’ noises before he started his ascension of the famous Mount Paozu. He had heard stories about this place, apparently, there was always something happening in these lands, and one could find the beginning of an adventure even when not looking for one; such thing did get Vangreth’s attention immediately, and he decided to play along these legends, not going by flying or anything like that, he would walk his way up! Half an hour after quitting the small town, the Muko-jin was already completely lost; the plant life here was strangely bigger, everything seemed to be! He could hear animals of a size that completely dwarfed anything else he had seen so far on Earth! Taking a few mental notes, he’d need to find a reason for that, perhaps something in the water? Or maybe it was the fact that, aside from a few small towns here and there, this region seemed untouched by the Earthlings. With all these questions in his head, Vangreth was probably neglecting to keep his attention on his ki-sensing, to prevent someone from surprising him. Dosu

If anything was more terrifying than goodies, it was hippies. The most fearsome, repugnant peace-lovers to ever grace this universe. Serving almost as an antithesis to the worst evildoers in the universe, they spread their positivity everywhere they passed, reducing even the most battle-hardened of bad guys to nothing in their wake. Perhaps it was one of their cheap tricks, the flower perfume they sprayed all around or that incense burning incessantly. It was truly horrific to meet one of them, so you could imagine what kind of trauma one would be subject to when stumbling upon a horde of them, gathering in the woods to partake in their strange, occult rituals. Celebrating nature and all of life in their psychedelic haze. Such things could not be tolerated.
That is why they needed a Stargoon for the job. Upon being presented with the job, the Red Stargoon initially refused, arguing that the pay was far too low for a job of this magnitude. The peace and calm and love he would be in contact with could have lasting effects on him and as such, he needed a substantial increase to make up for these hazards. It took a couple of insults and back-and-forth between the contractor and Dosu to finally get an acceptable sum of money for the job.
Thankfully, despite their horrific nature, they were no match for a determined Stargoon. The fight was swift and quick. At the time he arrived, most of them were in a trance-like state, something he could understand better after going through an adventure similar to this before. Before long, the camp had been wiped out of all of these hippies and they would not be missed. After all, their vow of voluntary simplicity made it that none of them had access to technology or held any kind of activity on social media. Therefore, before someone would try and search for them, a lot of time will have passed.
He wiped the blood out of his hands, transforming out of his Stargoon form. Letting out too much energy might only attract some unwanted attention, the kind that would fail to understand how the actions perpetrated on this day was for the benefit of everywhere. The people of Earth would no longer have to hear their antics or be forced to deal with their loitering in nearby parks.
Walking away from the scene on foot, he contacted the boss to tell him about how the job was a success.
“…Yes. Fuck these hippies. They won’t bother anyone now with their good morals and holier-than-thou attitude. We’ve made the universe a better place.”
He stopped suddenly, noticing some movement that clearly was of humanoid origin. Why the hell was someone in this place? An escapee? If he ever let one of them live, they might not seek retaliation, but they’ll surely convert more people to their cause, with even more zeal than their predecessor. He had to hang up.
“I’ll call you back…” he said, frowning in the direction of the person and closing his phone.
Walking towards the guy, he tried a somewhat friendly approach. The darkness might help cover some of the blood stains on his hands and face.
“Good evening, person. Out for a walk? I don’t mean to bother you, but do you like nature?”
He even added a little more emphasis on the word nature, in hope to make it clear that he wasn’t referring to the normal love of nature, but the one that was… let’s just say more “zealous” in nature.
OOC: Ok, that's a bit on the weird side, but I kinda went along with it anyway!

It was the sound, far away in the forest, that Vangreth had failed to analyze that snapped him out of his simplistic and open-minded journey. At first, he just looked around as some birds flew in the opposite direction as the sound, and it was pretty quick before the whole situation faded away in his mind; it was but a sound isolated in the woods, probably a predator finally catching up to its prey… which could have been further from the truth, but it was a very particular type of predator and prey, one that Vangreth had no real idea of, and he simply kept walking until he sensed an energy signature close to him! Ready for anything, he turned to the direction where it would come from and waited for the humanoid to approach him. This is Earth, the person approaching him was most-likely not going to be aggressive.
When he finally saw the blue humanoid approach him, the Mukojin was fairly at ease; outside of a bit of a frown, his face would send off pretty positive and friendly vibes, although his appearance was still easily associable to that of a demon of some sort, he would look fairly calm.
To the alien’s question, Vangreth tilted his head on the side and though about it for a moment; it seemed like this person was making the word ‘nature’ on his word, meaning that it was probably a double-entendre, but the man failed to analyze what it could mean deeper than… well… if he liked nature.
‘’ I guess I’d have to answer yes? Although, I am confused at why you are insisting on the word nature; if you do not mean enjoying the view of a good-looking scenery, or the quietness of an empty forest once in a while, than perhaps the answer to your question is no.’’ Vangreth would say in a rather neutral voice, sizing his opponent with his eyes silently. He was strong, but not entirely out of reach… at least, if he was not supressing anything, Vangreth COULD potentially reach his level if he needed to… but he would prefer not reaching that kind of conclusion just yet.
‘’ My name if Vangreth, I am a Muko-jin, and a fighter. I believe Earth’s tradition compels you to introduce yourself as well. ‘’ The man said, although this time, his voice was a little more forward, firm, but without a real trace of aggressivity; the Muko-jin didn’t want to get himself in trouble, but he knew that acting like this increased his chance of just being attacked on sight because he’d show too much weakness.

Thankfully, that Vangreth guy didn’t seem aware of what had transpired minutes before. That or he was surprisingly good at making it seem like he was innocent. Of the two options, the Heran had a preference for the former. It would be a good thing indeed, but still he couldn’t let him move in that direction still. While he was unable to size energy levels like others could, from the looks of it he didn’t seem like a pushover. Just mentioning his race made enough of a case in his favor, after all there was rarely a weaker being than a human.
Obviously, he couldn’t ask him to go back on his tracks without raising suspicion. Talking had never really been his strong suit, his fists had always done the job instead. So, no matter how we went about this, it would be at the very least a little weird. He appeared to enjoy long and detailed answers to simple questions and that too proved to be a problem. Questioning every inclination in tone made Dosu fear for what kinds of conclusions he could reach with such simple questions. Perhaps that was him being a little too paranoiac for his own good, but you never knew.
He crossed his arms when he was asked for his name in return. It wasn’t very wise to tell him that he was part of the Stargoons, but given the recent mediatization they received, if he hadn’t figured that out right away, chances were that he simply didn’t hear about them. Now, that was a good thing.
“Name’s Dosu. Never heard of your race before. What do ya’ll do for fun? My kind enjoys fighting.”
Immediately after saying those words, he dashed towards the alien, weaving deftly around a tree and closing in on Vangreth, delivering an upward punch right to his stomach. The idea behind the attack was to surprise him in the first place and hopefully sending him flying just enough so he wouldn’t stumble upon the crime scene and alert some stupid do-gooder. He was hoping for his sneak attack to work, but in case of failure, he would have to prove himself a little more insistent.
“I figured I should treat you to a good fight! Fuck Earth traditions! If you’re a fighter, then this is as good as a handshake! Hospitality, they call it.”

The Muko-jin was impressed by Dosu’s stature, he seemed pretty tall and strong, and well... blue… so he had an idea that he was no normal human either! Vangreth smiled a bit hearing the name of the blue giant, he would give a respectful, yet very short bow as an introduction proper. When he heard the man’s, question followed by a statement, Vangreth smirked; now that person was most likely to be HIS kind of person after all! With a clenched first, the man would answer with his voice proud and loud.
‘’ I am from the Muko-jin race, you’ve likely not heard of us since we barely managed to escape our decade-old prison. I am also a proud member of the fighter class, and it’s without doubt, something our two kind might share!’’ He’d said, raising his voice to meet Dosu’s stature, although he would not quite reach it.
One bad side of reaching a deep voice was… well… taking a gut punch! And when exactly that happened, Vangreth was sent flying a few meters away before stopping himself… DAMN! That Dosu… he didn’t play around… and man did he knew how to throw a punch! Vangreth was stunned for a moment, but quickly regained his composure and glanced at Dosu with a challenging grin.
‘’ Now that’s my kind of introduction!’’
He would simply say; it had been too long since his last fight, and he was certainly not gonna just pass because his opponent was much stronger than himself! Never! What Vangreth knew however, is that in this current state, if he managed to get his potential going… he might have a fighting chance against the alien. But for that to trigger… he’d have to take a beating first.
Leaping back toward his opponent, Vangreth would try to trick Dosu into thinking he would go for a simple punch; instead, when his punch was launched, but before it had any chance of connection, Vangreth would try and sweep Dosu out of his position with a powerful kick. If that connected, he would then attempt to smash down Dosu with both his hands, like a volleyball!
Vangreth was thrilled, he could already feel himself get excited just feeling this powerful energy rising up inside of him as his instinct overflew his mind with adrenaline.
‘’ You seem pretty strong! But I can take a hit, so don’t go easy on me just yet!’’

Although the Heran would not reply to it, he felt some sort of respect for the guy when he mentioned being imprisoned. On top of having some history about his own race locked inside a star by the kais millennia ago, he also suffered a similar fate during his lifetime. For two decades, locked away in isolation, he had the luxury of having his mind ravaged by bleak thoughts and loneliness. Contrary to most people he met for the first time, Dosu had the feeling that he could perhaps understand this guy a bit more than others, although that would, in no way, change what was bound to happen.
To fighters, this was the only proper way of meeting each other. Leaving the Stargoons stuff aside, his only desire was now to fight with the Muko-jin. The punch set off the hostilities with the alien taking the brunt of it, flying several meters before falling back amongst the trees. Apparently, he was made of stronger stuff than most, quickly getting back up with a confident smile. Had he met his match? This made the Heran smile even wider in retaliation, cracking his knuckles as he walked towards his opponent with a slow but steady pace. Vangreth’s remark even managed to get a laugh out of him.
“Hey, we might just get along, after all!”
Words alone wouldn’t have given him a good enough read about the alien’s potential. Seeing how quickly he recovered from his punch and how little damage he suffered, however, made a pretty good point in how serious he had to take him. Staying alert, he assumed a fighting stance and stood immobile as Vangreth leaped towards him. His fighting sense was tingling all over his body, jolts of electricity sparking his muscles into action, but he had to keep them under check. A terrible habit of his was to surrender to his most basic instincts when fighting, going with the flow. Instead, even though he was getting impatient, he waited for the incoming punch.
His eyes widened when the motion quickly changed for a sweep and though he tried to jump back, the sweep kicked both of his legs up in the air. In mid-air, all he could do was block the smash using both arms crossed in front of him and letting his body collide with the ground, the impact strong enough to force his body into the ground by a few feet. Through the whole process, his body remained relaxed which helped disperse the shock around.
“I’ve got plenty more hits to dish out, don’t worry about that!”
He tried grabbing both of his wrists to propel himself back up, gaining momentum to deliver a strong headbutt as he got back on his feet. Whether or not the attack worked, he would jump back only to dash back in immediately after.
“Let’s see if you can take the heat, boy!”
Still trying to determine his relative strength, Dosu launch a flurry of punches aimed at his face and upper body. That way, he could see whether or not that holiday in prison had rendered him sluggish or if he was strong enough to deal with it. With his last hit aimed straight at the middle of his chest, he would then try and grab the shirt, pulling him towards him as he pulled back his other arm and launched a bigger punch meant to collide with his nose.
OOC: Sounds good to me!

Vangreth was amused at how the Alien he was facing seemed to take this whole fight with just enough light in tension to make it all work in the end for them; it seemed like they were similar in that sense, a fight is just a fight, but it’s also both a way to greet other fighters, size each-other up and even create bond between people unlikely to even appreciate each-other! Vangreth was glad that such opponents existed on this world, Dosu and Russé, both persons were their own challenge, and the Muko-jin hoped he could overcome this one just like he did the previous, although it would be much harder this time!
‘’ Yeah! Let’s get that ‘conversation’ a little deeper, shall we?’’ He said before his blow connected and managed to push the Alien down into the ground.
Vangreth would have expected it to hurt more, at least stopping Dosu for a moment and giving the time to the Muko-jin to recover a bit from the initial punch that would have a lasting effect on this fight, but none of that happened, and Vangreth was about to realize that this match, unlike the one he had with Russé, was not about equal strength and technique… if he wanted to have a chance and win this one, he’d have to try harder than that.
Getting both his wrist grabbed, the Muko-jin only realized what was going on until it was too late; Dosu was moving at an impressive speed! So much so that Vangreth didn’t even had the chance to react to that attack before having his face headbutted. Vangreth took a few steps back, trying to regain his composure, although that headbutt was way too violent for him to brush off like that, and he was completely open the second Dosu charged back at him.
The flurry of punches started, and after a few punches to the face and chest, Vangreth woke back up, telling himself. [Can’t let him get the advantage this early! Fight BACK!] Before pushing his feet into the ground, digging in to use the full potential of his fists, he would begin to fight back against the flurry of punches with his own! It wasn’t enough though, although he was preventing most of the blows to land on him, his fists were tanking most of the damage and he was STILL eating some of them straight in the face! Considering the odds and power level though, he would be doing relatively well.
Then the last punch of this combo would come and land straight on Vangreth’s chest; a noise would be heard, although nothing was broken, the stress that his rib cage just endured was a noisy one, and clearly, he should not be taking too much of those too often.
The good news was, by grabbing the closest thing to a shirt Vangreth has, Dosu was leaving just enough space for him to prevent that last punch; mostly thanks to him pulling back his arm and taking a tiny bit too much time to execute himself.
The moment Dosu pulled back his arm, Vangreth’s aura would appear around him, like he was about to take flight. Then, the Muko-jin would use his flying ability to launch his knee upward toward Dosu’s jaw, hopefully breaking himself free of his hold in the same move.
If that worked, Vangreth would try to follow up this move with another using a similar technique, launching himself toward Dosu with his flying technique to land a powerful dive-kick to Dosu’s face. Vangreth knew that one blow was not enough to catch a break, but hopefully, if these two connected, it would send Dosu flying and hopefully give Vangreth even a single second to catch his breath.
‘’ You’re…’’ Vangreth would say after catching his breath. ‘’ … very freaking strong…’’

The tide of battle seemed to go his way. Unlike with a battle of wits and trickery, displays of brute force had always been his favorite thing. No need to think too much, just enjoy the moment and let loose of all that stress and other negative emotions. It was a good therapy, for sure, to simply indulge in your most basic instincts. This is what made him feel alive the most. Some would call it barbaric and stupid but to him, this was everything he needed. The surge of dopamine and adrenaline drowning his senses in some kind of pure, unadulterated sense of joy. His pupils fully dilated and that faint smile deforming his lips sufficed to show how great of a feeling it was.
After that initial headbutt, the first few hits started coming in. He was surprised to see this attack work. He supposed that, after being forced to fight so many foes leagues above him, that it was natural for his attacks to work sometimes. Despite that, he wished that the alien showed a bit more than that in terms of skills or else it’ll just end up being a one-sided onslaught. Eventually, his opponent began blocking his strikes, eventually replying with some of his own in between each block, forcing the Heran to slow down himself to block. Some of his punches would still slip through his guard, but they were very few compared to before. As he was about to land that final strike, he complimented Vangreth.
“That’s good, let’s see how well you can handle thi-“
His chin flew upwards as he bit his tongue, breaking the old rule of not talking when you fight. The sharp pain forced him to let go of his hold on the alien, stumbling back a bit. Within the fraction of a second, a dive kick was coming straight for his face. Jerking his head to the side, the kick only grazed his cheek lightly, allowing him to move to the side. Still in the air, it was his turn to compliment Dosu, to which he didn’t respond. Instead, taking advantage of the fact that he was so close to him, the Heran attempted to grab Vangreth’s head and run in through the nearest tree and then down the trunk before tossing him away. Whether or not it worked, he would then step back and spit some blood on the ground, courtesy of his bleeding tongue.
“Shit, I was the first to bleed. You’re not too bad yourself. I guess I gotta step it up, huh?”
If that guy was holding back on him, he’d quickly realize he was in for a surprise. Flexing one arm in front of him, red ki started to concentrate on his forearm from the elbow and up to the fist, with strands of ki going up in the air. He looked at it for a second, his arm now glowing a dark red. The ominous feeling emanating from his arm heralded the power behind his next strike. He lifted his eyes towards the Muko-jin and the second their sights locked on, he disappeared in a blur, the sudden burst of speed leaving an afterimage as he reappeared right before Vangreth in a crouched position, immediately following wide a wide swing of his ki-charged fist.
“Let’s see how long you can survive, now!”
The wide arc formed by this attack cut down several trees around them as his fist aimed for the side of the alien, just below his ribs. If he had something up his sleeve, it was now or never.
OOC: Vangreth has drawn the first blood! But now, a big one is coming. Dosu uses [UA2] Assault and Battery to launch a powerful attack aimed at Vangreth! 46, 200 damage coming your way!

Vangreth was once again proud of himself, it seemed as if his attack had managed to throw Dosu out of his game, it even seemed to have affected the strong opponent, and he was confident in his next attack even more that way! Sadly, this failed horribly, and it seemed it would even backfire as his head got grabbed by the strong alien and was smashed against a tree with brutal force, causing a lot of pain, although it was much better than getting actually punched by the alien, and Vangreth would manage to break free and step away from Dosu for a moment before hitting the trunk, barely escaping being crushed between the alien’s hand and the ground.
He noticed that Dosu stepped back also, and when he noticed that he was spitting blood, a confident smile built up on Vangreth’s face as he readied himself for round two! But there was something that the Muko-jin had failed to notice until he got that small break… he was badly injured. Enough that he would not be able to dodge the ‘stepping up’ Dosy was mentioning, and that was putting him in a terrible position as he could sense the alien charging up his power, Vangreth’s eyes were stuck on Dosu, waiting for his next move.
The ominous looking attack of his opponent was about to go off, Vangreth knew it, and he was just a little surprised when he saw Dosu disappear right in front of him and re-appear way too close; now, it was inevitable. For a moment, he could almost feel the end of this fight coming; there was nothing he could do in his state that would allow him to dodge this attack, not even if he gave it his all. But he could not simply accept this end, and as he closed his eyes, preparing his move, he felt a deep roar inside of him that would echo through his, and at that moment, where it seemed like he would simply lose to this powerful foe, Vangreth did the same thing Dosu had done just a second ago and disappeared before Dosu’s eyes just before the attack hit him, leaving an after-image that would shatter against the alien’s fist.
Vangreth would then re-appear right behind Dosu; his eyes were filled with a newfound strength, and it was obvious that he was ready to fight again, as he would try and take advantage of the distraction he hoped he caused to kick Dosu behind the knee, trying to make him kneel. If that worked, he would then begin to pummel the back of his head with a flurry of punches, they would feel fiercer, stronger and filled with determination; Vangreth had just become stronger through adversity, this fight was actively teaching him, and he was applying this newfound power to try and defeat his opponents, consequences be damned!
‘’ Oh worry not my friend, I can survive a lot more than that! Do not take victory for granted just because you can blow up a forest! ‘’ He would say, his voice, unlike any moment before, was incredibly emotive, anyone could feel defiance and confidence, where usually, Vangreth had this neutral voice that barely had any tone to it, it seemed like this fight had totally altered his mind for the time being, and as he rose with this power, he knew that this fight was going to be the most intense he would have had in his life, and the result of said fight would be a newfound strength, whether he lost of won.

Unable to stop his motion, Dosu was forced to bear witness to the failure of his attack. His swing too far to be retracted and his senses as sharp as they could be, the realization that his opponent had vanished came at the same moment as his fist started digging into the afterimage, tearing it apart to leave nothing but a sense of failure and frustration. That sudden burst of speed, it was too fast for a guy like him. Had he gone stronger in a matter of seconds? Much worse, was he hiding his true strength from him? Dosu, who in turn kept his power in check to prolong the fun, was being toyed it? Even the alien’s provocation was full of sass.
“Ha…haha…hahaha, well that’s just great! You were plenty strong from the start, weren’t you? SO IT’S FINE IF I KICK IT UP A NOTCH AGAIN, RIGHT?”
The bead holding his beard began glowing an ominous red light. While there were no apparent change in his appearance, to those with sharper sense, the change was drastic. His power had effectively doubled in an instant and his look made it clear that bloodshed was inevitable. Before, that power would have made the Heran crazy with power, but now that he had a certain mastery over it, he was able to remain sane. If anything, he was getting feisty, but that much was to be expected, wasn’t it?
“I’ll beat the pride out of ya, chump!”
If his previous attack was fast, the next one was on a completely other level. His simple movement moved the wind around with such force that the trees started shaking. It was a very simple dash, right in the alien’s field of vision. Whether or not he could see him didn’t matter. If he failed to react to this, then the fight was over. The punch was aimed at his upper body, right on his chest. Once again, if he had some steam left in him, now was the moment to use it.

Vangreth was pretty confident after what had just happened! He had managed to dodge one of the alien’s Ki-based attacks, and that was no small feat! Above that, he seemed to have powered up and was now a little stronger than before, which was going to be incredibly helpful if he wanted to stay in that fight; while he might have dodged one the Dosu’s attacks, he was still way under the power the Alien was using, and that meant he had no loose space for errors… if he got a direct hit from one of those… well… he would end up on the floor… or at least close to it. When Dosu’s power level spiked, Vangreth’s eyes widen, and he barely had the time to hear the threat he saw Dosu dash towards him at speeds that he could barely even notice! He barely had the time to cross his arms in front of him that he received the punch at full force! The first thing that received contact from the punch was completely blown right off, his right forearm went flying into the distance, leaving a bloodless stump and sending the Muko-Jin’s body flying into the forest, far enough that Dosu would probably lose sight if he didn’t follow it. For a short moment, Vangreth completely lost consciousness, and in this brief moment where pain and complete defeat was inflicted on him, his body refused to lose. Not now at least! The strange lines on his body began to glow an unnatural light as his aura exploded around him, sending away a few trees and stopping Vangreth in his track. The moment he sat foot on the ground, his aura went from purple to deep red, he could feel yet another power-boost coming from deep within! This time however, he had no time to revel in this new sensation… no… now was the time to fight back! He began to dash back towards Dosu, and while his speed might not be that of Dosu’s previous attack, it was much faster than Vangreth previously was, and the trees in his path would move and shiver at his power. When he would emerge from the tree, Dosu would notice that, were the forearm he had blown off was, a strange construct was forming, made of red light similar to Vangreth’s aura, and it seemed like it was reforming his arm from inside out, going from a skeletal-form, to muscle, and then skin, before taking back its original texture and colors. ‘’ VOID …’’ Vangreth began to scream as an extra pair of arms appeared from his back and clenched. All four of his arms began to coat in a strange texture that kind of looked like a clear night sky. With this, Vangreth lunged toward Dosu and would attempt to pummeled the life out of him with everything he had, all four arms giving it all they got to make sure Dosu’s Face and Chest would be properly beaten up. ‘’ C-C-C-C-COMBO!’’

|Show me your moves!| Dosu's PL: 420 000/ 210 000
After the punch connected, Dosu stopped moving, watching as the body flew right into the woods, trail of blood marking the direction he went. He was surprised at first to see the alien’s body break apart so easily and he assumed it was about as much as his opponent could handle. A wound such as this would probably decide the winner. A shame, since the Heran was pretty invested of that particular fight and was feeling rather bummed that it would end on such an anticlimactic note. He muttered to himself while scratching the back of his head:
“Oh well. And here I was starting to enjoy myself. Whatever, better end it now before I get too much into it.”
An eerie light began shining in the general direction of his opponent’s body, a sign that he wasn’t completely out of the fight yet. With a missing arm, however, it was safe to assume that it wouldn’t take much more than a flick to completely turn his lights off. The sudden switch in speed surprised Dosu who didn’t expect something like that from him. He noticed how the red aura was similar to his in color.
“Now, that’s the spirit! Is it time for a second wind? What’s it gonna be now? With a missing arm you can’t…huh?”
From his broken arm stood a strange ki thing sprouted. Much like a template, the lost arm soon reformed around it, replacing the lost arm in a matter of seconds. Just what was this guy, anyway? A scream pushed forth two others arms and Dosu couldn’t help but say.
“Now that’s just ridiculous!”
Noticing the strange effect on Vangreth’s arms, he didn’t move, instead taking all of the punches head on. After a few of them he started falling on the ground, the rush helping his rapid descent towards the ground. A series of gurgles and misshapen sounds erupted from his throat, which turned out to be laughter as he was getting pummeled. This intense feeling! The rush of adrenaline he felt while taking a beating was one he missed very dearly. He could feel some of his bones bend under the pressure applied by each consecutive punches. Blood splattered on the ground and nearby trees as he was driven into the ground more and more, all while laughing.
“ BWAHAHAHA…*hack*..HAHAHA”
In a show of pure bravado, Dosu lifted both of his foot and drove them into the ground, acting as an anchor as he lifted his body in the opposite direction of the punches, forcing the alien back and presenting himself as an unyielding wall. Once he was back up fully, Dosu broke the combo and stepped aside. In truth, he was pretty much battered from that attack. His body ached all over and blood dripped from his nose and mouth, as well as from the several cuts on his body. Did he allow it to happen? Saying that he didn’t have time to react would be silly, but that did not matter at this moment.
“Looks like I’ve managed to push you all the way. Hahaha. As a thank you, I should reciprocate, right?”
His power began rising once more. This time, on a yet unprecedented level. The ground started to crack under him as the crimson aura swirled around, his open wounds began glowing from that same red hue. Without a single word Dosu approached the alien.
From his clenched fist, he showed Vangreth his index finger and attempted to poke a hole in his throat with one swift strike. Just holding back enough not to kill him right away.

This was it right? Vangreth was about to win this fight, right? There was no way someone composed of flesh and blood would be able to survive this pummel with all the Muko-jin’s strength and all his remaining energy, all poured into one offensive that would surely end this fight without any further struggle. The man poured everything into this attack and if that failed; it would be the end of the fight… and while Vangreth had no idea how much stronger Dosu was… And with all the tools he had with him, this fight was destined to be a defeat from the start.
But for now, Vangreth was sending waves after waves of punches and driving Dosu into the ground, he could see blood splatter around and feel Dosu’s body reaching its limit… but IT WOULDN’T BREAK! The Muko-Jin’s anger seemed to power his punches at first, but it ended up creating the smallest of opening, and that seemed to be enough for Dosu to break free of Vangreth’s combo… and at that point, he was fully aware that this fight was over and would simply try his best against anything Dosu would send him… that’s pretty much what he could do.
‘’ Y-you did… This is as strong as I get. And yet, you still seem to enjoy yourself. I just don’t get it… but there seems to be such a big world beyond me. ‘’
Saying that, Vangreth would stare down at Dosu with still fire in his eyes; if this fight would have kept going, he might even have gotten even stronger, but in his state, he would need several minutes of working back to his maximum potential. So there he was, standing in front of an opponent who was still powering up… even further than what Vangreth had ever felt, at least at that distance, and he would simply ready himself to tank whatever was coming to him to the best of his ability.
‘’ I see… so you were holding back from the start uh… Oh well, show me what you go…’’
And with those words, Vangreth received Dosu’s fingers right into his throat; instantly, Vangreth began to struggle for air! Well, for the whole second he was still conscious before his eyes turned completely white and he was simply sent to the ground without another thought; this attack was just so much beyond him that he was fully aware that Dosu could have killed him whenever.
With that, Vangreth forcibly fell into his meditation state, where he would relive this fight repeatedly, trying to find ways he could have done better, held for more time and perhaps won? There was simply no way he would come out victorious from this encounter.
