"Yeah, that makes sense and let's break the door and see what's behind." He was not worried since he knew he would be even stronger than whatever would be behind there. He'd watched as Vangreath pressed his hand on the door. "We will do what needs to be done don't worry." Yanwang nodded readily to do what needed to be done. After all, he said he was a hero. He had to be brave even if this place was pretty creepy. He'd watched the door be blown away by Vangreth as there seemed to be more lab. There was some creature in a stasis chamber. Yanwang looked confused. "Woah this is like a lab of terrible proportions." He was going to say awesome but he saw what these people had done. They were monsters even if their lab was cool design-wise he could not be positive about them. He then heard the voice something about a breach and officers should report to check it out. Yanwang grunted as he yelled back unaware it as prerecorded. "Come down and face us your in big trouble doing what you are doing mister!" He'd roared as his left arm turned black with energy and his right arm turned white with the same type of energy.

Vangreth looked at that lab that seemed to be the place were all those creatures were created, and the stasis chamber that served in that purpose having still something within it, and it was much bigger than anything they had seen prior in here! The Muko-jin stared at the few skeletons, vestiges of the people who did all of this, or at least their accomplice in some form or another. The man took a few steps closer to the chamber, trying to discern what could be hiding behind that glass, inside this strange liquid; it had to be worst than anything else if they made such an effort to keep it locked down.
Hearing the Ogre yelling at the repeating voices, Vangreth turned and looked at him, surprised to see his aura show up as two different colors on each arm; the Muko-jin had never seen that before!
‘’ It’s coming from one of those devices Yanwang…’’
Vangreth pointed the speakers on the corner of the rooms.
‘’… whoever is saying this is not around here, and I have no idea if it can hear you.’’
The man felt pretty smart about his observation, not realizing that he was basically equally wrong, as it was a pre-registered message after all, there was no ‘it’. But that would require him to understand that kind of technology, so it would not be for today, or tomorrow… or any time near the present.
The voice then changed its message as a strange blowing noise would be heard from behind the tank containing the being.
‘’ Depressurization of the tank. Project Apollyon operational at sixty-three percent.’’
After the message, both Vangreth and Yanwang would be able to notice that the tank was emptying itself slowly and would reveal the thing that was trapped inside of it very soon.
‘’ Well well…. I do hope the reason that thing was locked inside here was NOT that it was an absolute killing machine bent on destroying anything living in the area…. Or something similar… I’d highly prefer the option were it was simply forgotten…’’
Vangreth said, realizing full well that, if it was forgotten, there would not be so many skeletons around with it… but nobody could blame him for hoping… right?
Yanwang turned to look at Vangreth. Guess he was right he didn't see anyone coming. "Well, whatever?" Yanwang sighed looking to see the creature inside. He could not imagine the pain it was in nor the mental trauma it had to suffer. Yanwang was unsure what they were supposed to do. He was not the type to kill but Vangreath had a point. What if it was some monster that was going to hurt people. Yanwang rubbed his chin for a bit he did have something he could do. Yet he'd have to wait and see what type of creature this thing is. "Alright, Vangreth lets be ready just in case this thing is hostile." In truth, he thought he'd be able to handle it no matter what but he didn't also want to show off his true power just willy nilly. He still had to practice in controlling it and he may hurt Vangreth on accident. As a hero, he could not take such a chance. He'd be a bad role model if he did.

Vangreth was ready to battle it out with the huge creature that was about to come out of the tank; his fighting stance was complete, his focus was all on the tiniest of movements the creature would give and his senses were awoken; truly, it had been a while since he had a decent fight, and it has been troubling him… as a fighter, not having any fight in too long put him in danger of letting his form go and grow weaker, and he was not having any of that! There he stood, ready for a blood-thirsty creature to make its entrance…
When the liquid freed the creature’s head, they could hear a breathing starting, very slow, but equally loud, and the head of a creature mixed between demonic and Namekian would emerge and slowly begin to open its eyes, visibly unaware of anything that existed outside of this tank he was in.
‘’ Let’s try to go… non-lethal on it. It might go in a state of looking for a fight after waking up from such an experience… I’ve had a similar experience with a crash when I first arrived on Earth, and a fight is what it took to snap me out of it.’’
He didn’t mind sharing this anecdote to the Ogre, after all, Yanwang was a hero, he would certainly not see anything wrong with fighting, right?
The creature slowly began to move and quickly noticed that it was trapped in glass, and would begin to flail around, trying to break its prison. A few growls could be heard from inside the tank as the large creature’s body began to emerge from the water; it was a strange mix of many species including Demon, Namekian, Saiyan and a few Aliens as well! Its skin was all over the place and its sheer size would show that it was nothing natural for this creature to be alive.
It didn’t seem to have noticed them yet… perhaps they should take action? OR maybe let the creature wake up fully and then try to communicate? Vangreth was not sure, but at least he had a great hero to help him decide! He turned to Yanwang, waiting for the Ogre to act.
'' So Yanwang... do your hero experience make it obvious what action we should take in this scenario?'' He would ask, visibly affected by the stress of the situation.
The creature came out Yanwang watched taking a step back. It really was like some sort of Monster. Yanwang then quickly stepped back forward. He didn't want to look like he was in fear. Yet he was in a lot of fear from his foe. It really was some creature that was not meant to be out yet. Did they make a huge mistake? He could hear Vangreth words but he didn't know what to do. A pink mist began to escape his hand as stood their jaw slacked with confusion and fear. He needed to know what to do. Yanwang noticed the mist and closed his hand it slowly fading away. This was not the time to transform. Yanwang decided to do what Vangreth said and approach it. Maybe it was nice despite its appearance. Yanwang would walk over quietly looking up at the creature. "Sorry to wake you up mister I know you must be confused and tired we are here trying to help you. Are you ok?" Maybe this creature would be able to say something back or at least communicate in some way.

Vangreh noticed that the Ogre had almost left him behind… now that was certainly one kind of hero, right? For a moment, Vangreth even turned back to the creature, almost expecting to fight for his life alone. In that moment, his trust in Yanwang crumbled only to be rebuilt, much weaker, but still rebuilt when he heard the Ogre’s voice coming back to him behind him. At least, he didn’t left him, he only had a momentary lapse in his judgement perhaps? That said, the Muko-jin would make sure that next time they get in that kind of situation, if there was a next time, he would be the one behind.
The creature, which seemed relatively unaware of anything until then, looked in Yanwang’s direction. It was still trying to break its glass tank, and it was starting to affect the structure; cracks started to form and pieces began to fall on the ground.
‘’ Okay… he doesn’t seem happy… but… do you think he’ll think WE did this to him? We’re the only one around so… ‘’
When Vangreth said that, the creature turned to him and punched the glass in Vangreth’s direction, sending a chunk of the material flying toward the Muko-jin, who barely had the time to duck and dodge the chunk that went crashing into the wall and in pieces instantly after hitting it.
The creature then tore a way for it to crawl outside of the tank through that hole made by the glass. It was really fast and managed to get out of the tank; standing tall between the two humanoid and looking around, visibly confused.
‘’ I think it’s…’’
Vangreth could not finish its sentence that he got rushed by the creature a slapped across the room, going right through the wall and into a cell on the other side.
Yanwang waited to see what he would do. The creature didn't seem happy. He saw the creature punch the glass towards Vangreath but lucky for him he dodged. "Be careful it is fast and strong." That was what Yanwang could tell from that. Yet he was not worried. There was nothing stronger than him. He did watch it crawl out before it sent Vangreth flying with a single blow. Guess he was hostile. "You alright!" He yelled back at Vangreth before turning to face the beast his hand out. He didn't want to have to hurt the creature which at this point he assumed was confused but he damn was willing too if it didn't calm down "We are not here to hurt you." Guess it would only be a few seconds before he found out if the creature understood him or even cared enough to calm down.

Vangreth came back from the cell beyond the wall with an angered face as he was covered in dust and rubbles, vestiges of the wall he had just been thrown through. He seemed like he was ready to throw down with the beast, his fists were clenched, and he assumed a fighting stance; this time, he was not going to let himself be toyed with by this creature! The next blow, he would be ready to take it and retaliate.
‘’ I’m fine… But I think it’s not very inclined to listen to reason. Let’s try to incapacitate it first though… we don’t know what its been throught.’’ Vangreth said, his voice was angered, but he was visibly trying to rationalize he thoughts of just beating that thing until it stopped moving and asking questions then.
The creature seemed to be following the conversation, sometimes growling angrily in their direction; if might be clear that, while it might be able to vaguely understand, it was not really going to think a whole lot or change its mind anytime soon, or if he did, it didn’t appear like it.
The Apollyon would then rush toward the Ogre, the only remaining creature here he had no asserted his dominance on, and would attempt to pummel the Yanwang with his giant fist; this creature had no knowledge of martial art and was fighting much more like an animal, but a very fast, very powerful and extremely angry animal; not too far off from an Oozaru in fact, not that Vangreth would know what an Oozaru was anyway. While Vangreth would observe from the other side of the room, getting closer but making sure it didn’t get hit by… a Saiyan tail! The creature had a Saiyan tail! Maybe if they could get a grab on that thing, then perhaps they could paralyze it into submission!
The Muko-jin would then yell over at his partner. ‘’ Keep it busy, if you can immobilize it for a moment, I think I can end this fairly easy. Send me a signal when you’re ready to pin it down!’’ Saying this, Vangreth would get even closer to the moving creature, ready to make the leap toward the tail and grab a hold of it as the moment Yanwang would give him the signal; with enough coordination, this fight would be over in a manner of minutes, seconds even.
He could hear the anger in Vangreath voice guess he could understand why. He did just get sent flying through a wall by this creature when they were trying to help. Yanwang grimaced as he faced the beast. When the beast swung Yanwang raised both hands catching the blow as he slid back. He could feel the strength of the beast but it was not anything he had not faced before. He was unsure how he wanted to handle this. Vangreth suggested they made it incapable first but he didn't know what that meant. So he just held the fist back before it swung again and agian Yanwang blocking the blows with some struggle but nothing too serious. Then he heard Vangreth voice agian. He wanted him to Immobilize it. "Got it!" Yanwang leaped up high into the air. An aura flashed around Yanwang his muscles bulking up. His shirt tensed before Yanwang kicked off the roof kicking the beast into the head with extreme force. The ground broke apart and he was quite sure it would be stunned for a few seconds from that powerful blow. "Go for it now!" Yanwang would call hoping Vangreth had a plan or some secret power to keep the beast down for longer then his kick would.
Pumped Up! Powerlevel:375,000/250,000

Vangreth was shocked the moment Yanwang jumped into the air and visibly transformed; he could notice the difference in muscle mass and even more alarming, the power-up he just went through! The Muko-jin’s Ki-Sensing ability became completely crazy as it was sizing the Ogre multiple time his original signature instantly! So people here had THAT kind of power? It was similar to Vangreth’s own power-up, but results were like day and night with the power the Ogre had in his base form. It stunned Vangreth for a moment, just feeling the gap between them widening even more… was there a limit to how strong someone could get?
When he heard the signal however, Vangreth quickly went to grab the flailing tail of the beast, easily taking a grip on it; was the beast not going to at least fight back a little? Well, at the moment he held the tail in his hand, he noticed that the beast had already been knocked out cold with Yanwang’s powerful blow. He stood there for a moment, looking at the impressive form of Yanwang with an astonished face.
‘’ So THATS why you’re Earth’s strongest hero uh? Make sense to me. ‘’ Vangreth said with a smile on his face, he had no idea just how far he was from the truth, how could he?
He looked around for a moment after saying that, quickly finding what he was looking for; tape. The Muko-jin looked at the tape before taking it and dragging the knocked-out body of the Apollyon on the floor towards a wall. He would then proceed to tape the tail to the wall, using way too much tape for confort.
‘’ I figured, when he’ll wake up, he’ll need to remove all of it before regaining full power… That should help him calm down if he’s able to, what do you think?’’
With those words, Vangreth turned back to the Ogre, waiting for his approval.
Yanwang didn't realize he knocked out the beast at first but once he did he looked surprised. That beast had looked pretty scary and strong. He didn't think a single blow not even at full strength would take it down. Guess he really did too much. Lucky he was not dead or anything so he let out a sigh of relief. "Yah well that not even my true power you'll have to wait for that." Yanwang smiled at Vangreth. He wondered if he should tell him the truth. He shrugged, there was no harm and keeping up that he was not the greatest hero. Now he would become that hero but that would be soon enough. When Vangreath gave his suggestion he nodded "Sure that is not a bad plan." Yanwang muscles unflexed as he powered down and began to look around. He felt relieved to be done fighting that creature but what scared him more now was who did all this? Who would create all of this and then leave it without a fight? No one had come to stop them and how did they get all of this anyway. All the genetic resources to create a ton of bio androids? Yanwang rubbed his head, it was not worth worrying about now.

Now that was how teamwork was done! Without even that much effort, and only one blow taken, they had managed to control a big monster, and not even kill it even! Vangreth was pretty proud of that, and proud of himself for thinking of a plan that… well… would have worked even if Yanwang wasn’t the strongest person he had ever met and completely over-powered the creature itself with very little effort. But something was… off… about all of this… or rather, something was off with Vangreth… he was starting to see in blurr, and slowly but surely was losing his balance.
He tried to ignore that and gave a surprised face to the Ogre when he mentioned that it wasn’t even his TRUE power. Vangreth found it hard to believe that he could get even stronger than that! This concerned Vangreth… he thought he was still in the game with his own powering-up technique… but if people could just power-up much more than even he could… what chance did he have to compete with them? While it wasn’t world-shattering to him, it did feel like he was weak in this world, compared to all those powerhouses, and he had become much stronger than he ever dreamt to be already!
At the exact moment Yanwang was asking himself questions about ‘how’ and ‘why’ people did this, Vangreth’s hand reached for his head as his blurry vision became worst and he started to feel extremely weak.
‘’ Yanwang… I… I think… ‘’
Saying that, the Muko-jin would drop on the floor and cough some blood on the ground. His Ki-signature would then be able to be sensed if Yanwang was able to do so, and it was rapidly decreasing.
‘’ … Feels like… I’ve been… poisoned…’’
With those words, Vangreth lost consciousness and for one of the rare time in his life, entered his meditation state forcibly.
He'd looked over at Vangreath as he seemed a bit odd. "You ok?" He'd walked over as he watched Vangreth cough up some blood. That was never a good sign. He'd run over a bit faster to catch Vangreth so he didn't fall on the ground. He heard what he said a shocked and confused look forming on his face. He had been poisoned! Yanwang looked at the beast they had defeated. It must have been that creature. Yanwang would lift Vangreth over his shoulder and climb back outside. He saw North City was up ahead. He was sure he could find a place that could help Vangreth. He didn't know how to help Vangreth himself afterall. He had little medical knowledge at best. So he began to fly over though he hoped Vangreth would wake up mid-flight and revel it was a prank or something funny like that.
Last Edit: Aug 5, 2019 12:18:18 GMT -6 by Yanwang: added color coat
The poison that was now running through Vangreth’s vein did not come from the creature he and Yanwang just faced, and Vangreth had an idea that it wasn’t that creature, it simply didn’t look like it would use such tactics… No, it had to be somethign else.
In his meditative state, that would look like sleeping to Yanwang, Vangreth decided to go through his recent memories… he watched the fight against, the blow he took from the creature, nothing could have poisoned him over that, his theory was correct. Next, he went to see if perhaps on the the Bio-Android would have poisoned him by some way, but he couldn’t see any of them that made contact with him, so there would be no reason for it to have affect him but not the Ogre
Finally, Vangreth snapped! He knew EXACTLY what made this, and it made just so much sense! The hot cocoa he took on the upper level… this resting place was probably used as a trap to capture people and use their body for these experiments! They poisoned the beans, and when people fell, like Vangreth had, then they would take the body and drag him under.
Knowing this, Vangreth was glad to know that this poison was not going to kill him, the Bio-Androids all seemed to be pretty alive, and his regeneration was slowly expulsing the poison out of his body.
Mid-way between their starting point and North City, Vangreth would start to wake up, feeling that he was flying on Yanwang, he would tap his shoulder lightly.
‘’ H-hey… I think I figured it out…’’
He would say, still feeling pretty weak in general; the poison didn’t simply dissapear from his system after all.
‘’ The poison… the hot cocoa… the resting place… it’s all a trap… to create those things…’’
As Yanwang flew off he felt a light tap. He'd turned to see Vangreth was awake somewhat. Guess the poison was not enough to kill him which was a good sign "Were soon going to be a place where people can help you don't worry." Yanwang looked Vangreth in the eye as he spoke about how the hot cocoa was the thing that poisoned him. "Alright, we will have to check that or I guess I will. You need to get somewhere to rest and be checked on. The poison might still affect you for a long time after." Yanwang gave a smile before frowning to focus on what he should do about that place. Seeing how dangerous it could be for other people he should destroy it but he was unsure how he'd do that. There was probably stuff int he lab that if blown up would cause even more damage. Yanwang rubbed one hand under his chin trying to figure out what to do as he flew to the north city hospital.
