“More like a Guardian, but considering the general feel I got from Chime I don’t imagine they would refuse being called a ‘Hero’” Chime seemed like a ‘good’ sort of person and with their raw power Kayen could certainly imagine them doing some heroics around Earth, that seemed to her like the most easy way of performing the duties she was vaguely aware of that belonged to the Earth's Guardian. She smirked at Pankaa’s excited screeches and to add to the kid’s fun did a quick spin in the air, apparently he’d been to space which more or less confirmed for Kayen that Pankaa was not a native of Earth, she was vaguely curious where the kid was from but considering their age and the fact that Nero was apparently raising them it was probably NOT a good line of conversation to pursue, talking about the planet would presumably involve talking about Pankaas birth parents, and Kayen could only assume they were no longer alive or at least not in the picture. And she REALLY didn’t want to deal with a despondent little bird or worse yet a crying one. “Yeah, most Saiyans are like that, Nero takes a bit after some of the other bits of our family but hes still got more than enough Saiyan blood to have the hunger” Kayen said with a laugh, it barely even registered with Kayen that for the first time in ages she’s spoke about Nero without it feeling painful or bringing down her mood.

" Oooh" In all honesty Pankaa didn't quite know the word Guardian in full yet and what that role really meant but it did sound powerful and important! He knew for sure he had heard the word before and it took him a little bit to remember, it escaped him before but eventually it clicked! When the neighbours of Nero were looking after him they tended to refer to Nero as 'Pankaa's Guardian' so he supposed he was right to think it was powerful and important, " Who are they Guardian of? Papa is guardian of me! So Chime is..." He thought for a moment since Kayen did say that they watched over Earth and it's people... The avali gasped lightly looking a little stunned at what he had just realized, " Chime... Guardian of Earth?" That certainly was a lot of people to be the guardian of! " Wow! I hope they get enough sleepi!" Kayen's quick spin made the kid laugh in excitement almost as loud as his screech had been, she was actually a ton of fun to hang around! It confused him lightly as both she and Nero seemed pretty one in the same when it came to a lot of things and yet they still had some sort of feud that kept them apart. " Could Kayen fly all the way to Avalon? Have you been to Avalon before?" He quirked his head sideways for a moment which made his ears flop in the direction he tilted it. " I will go back someday, maybe when I can fly to space like Kayen!" He seemed to tiptoe around bluntly saying it was where he was from specifically though she could probably guess that all things considered, at least now she wouldn't have to ask. The avali would smile seeing Kayen laugh when talking about Nero, she had said that Nero probably wasn't interested in seeing her but he was almost certain she wanted to see Nero despite that fact. He wouldn't bring it up in this moment though, she deserved to have this moment to laugh and think fondly of her brother. " Oh! Um! Also! How did Papa get his uhm" He paused for a moment before leaning over and gently pressing a finger against the side of Kayen's head, carefully drawing a line down to above her eyebrow. Some of her hair was in the way since the part she had shaved was the opposite side to Nero's but it was clear he was trying to indicate Nero's scar. " Do you know?" |

“Fly to Avalon? Unless it’s around Earth, probably not, not NOW at least. I’m fast but not quite fast enough to travel in space for more than a few minutes. The star’s aren’t exactly a kind place to be for a long time.” Kayen said keeping her answer careful until she knew a bit more about this ‘Avalon’ she presumed since Pankaa mentioned space that it was another planet, without knowing more about it’s current condition she wanted to avoid claims that perhaps Pankaa could go there themselves. “His scar?” Kayen paused not entirely certain about telling stories about Nero while it was still possible her younger brother held a grudge about her departure… but it likely woulden’t hurt to give a little bit, the story was certainly one that did not paint him in a negative light, especially not with Kayen recounting it. “It was when he was very young, I’m not quite sure how old you are but he was probably just a bit older, there was a rockslide that trapped someone under a large rock, it was too big to lift and Nero was… impulsive, though it was probably for the best, he couldn't lift it but he COULD destroy it, so he smashed it with his head. He’d only really just started properly learning to control his power, so he had enough to summon it, but not enough to keep full control. The rock was pulverized, the person saved, but Nero was hurt” “Head injuries are very bad, and not the kind of thing you can immediately just throw someone in a healing tank with, so he needed some traditional healing before he could be rejuvenated, it ended up leaving that scar. He’d eventually end up getting far better at controlling his power, so I guess either the whole thing pushed him to get better, or it was just the ‘perfect’ timing that it happened before he’d gotten deeper into our training”

Kayen's answer made the avali look up to the sky again, realizing he didn't really know where Avalon was aside from being somewhere in space. He figured it was probably rather far from Earth though since it had been sometime before he and the other avali's arrived here when they did, but just how far he wasn't very sure. It made him wonder if he'd have any luck in the future trying to refind it but thankfully his train of thought was shifted when Kayen continued.
"Yeah!" On the part about his age he would put a claw this his chin in thought for a moment before holding up one of his paws, he was the same age number as his finger count! That made it easier to remember- Though remembering past that was going to be a challenge... Pankaa gasped hearing that someone had gotten trapped under a large rock but sighed in relief shortly after when she explained that Nero destroyed it-- Only to gasp again when 'Nero was hurt' was mentioned. "Oh no!" Luckily he at least knew that Nero was of course okay afterwards since, well you know.
"Wow- I no know Papa was so strong..." The kid frowned lightly, sure Nero could lift all sorts of things at home relatively easy and all that but he hadn't seen him do anything on the same sort of tier as boulder crushing, maybe just because the Saiyan hadn't needed to? "If he was hurt, who help him at time?" He tilted his head lightly and flattened his ears back as he thought for a moment, "Training? What sort!" He huffed lightly though and crossed his arms during his little huff."Papa no train me yet... But he mention it! Not sure what kind of train though but I sometime make things float and stuff without meaning to, maybe it for that" The avali put his little hands of his mouth as his ears sprung back up and he made a chirpy sort of 'giggle' noise. "Sometime it causes oopsies at home, but it never on purpose! Pankaa promise"
