HISTORY:
The history of the saiyans is a long and taxing one. Over the years, the saiyans have slowly become more docile compared to their ancestors, setting up a kingdom that would become a good part of the galactic community. This however, did not sit well with all of those involved.
Very short into this transition, a radical faction of saiyans split from Vegeta and it's government, going into space and pillaging violently in the hopes of one day regaining control of the kingdom that had destroyed what they considered to be the natural way of life for all saiyans in the galaxy. However, the years of pillaging eventually caught up with them when an up-and-coming Corporal noticed them and decided to land some credit with the empire.
This man was Fuego, a then grunt of the WTF.
Over the next year, the group was hunted to near extinction, with only a few members remaining on a stranded and surrounded planet. With no options remaining, two of the saiyans proposed the idea of sending off all of the children in the remaining pods, leaving them with their dream of overthrowing the Saiyan Kingdom. With no option remaining, 2 children and a baby were sent off, with the adults and the children who refused to leave were murdered by the WTF forces.
Eventually, the baby, who would become known as Cardigan, landed in the Sleepy East. There, he was raised by a pair of Earthling farmers. The married couple raised Cardigan to excel in life, helping Cardigan control his power (which they did not understand) and discover his love of mathematics and coding. Living in this environment taught him respect for others, manners for anybody and everybody, and a sense of honor that nothing could shatter.
After years there, a group of criminals came to steal their crop, killing his adoptive parents on a whim. The rage he experienced made him realize his power, allowing him to apprehend the criminals and take them to justice.
These days, Cardigan codes for small start-ups around Central City. However, whenever the call of injustice rings out, Sigma will be there to protect the innocent.
PERSONALITY:
Cardigan is a pretty amiable person. He usually hangs in the backs of crowds, only speaking when spoken to. He will speak up on certain topics on occasion, like math and science. When transformed into Sigma, however, Cardigan will become much more outspoken and noble, delivering quippy one-liners before delivering his foes to justice.
