PL: 50,000
Explosions echoed in the air of the volcanically tarnished landscape. They came one after another like bullets fired from a machine gun. There was no gun, however, just a frustrated Saiyan relentlessly attacking the area in front of him. "Gaaaah!" the muscular goliath shouted at the top of his lungs. He couldn't see his target, his line-of-sight obscured by the dust and debris kicked up from his assault. Not that he cared. He was certain that his boss wasn't walking out of this unscathed.
"Hahaha!" the Saiyan laughed obnoxiously, "It's just as I said. You aren't able to handle my Emerald Barrage!" he boasted, with a wide grin.
Orange ki sprang to life at the center of the cloud of rock and dust. The energy danced in the air like a flame from a campfire around an unseen individual.
"Come on Scal-"
There was a flash as a streak of orange cut across the battlefield without warning. The previously boastful Saiyan now found himself unable to speak. His body lifted up from the ground and a hand wrapped tightly around his throat. "Pathetic." Scallio tightened his grip, "That's really all the power you have Kale?" even if Kale could reply the answer was obvious. Scallio watched disappointedly as Kale attempted to pry himself free. "I suppose so." he sighed and tossed Kale into the wall of the crater they'd been fighting in.
Scallio scowled and looked towards the rest of his crew. The three remaining members, minus Narissa, were gathered along the edge of the crater. They were all battered and beaten. Scallio having subjected them to the same treatment as Kale. "I'm at a lost for words." If Scallio had needed any further proof of his men's dwindling strength he'd gotten it. He had been thinking for a while that they'd been failing to perform. He just hadn't realized it was quite this bad.
"You're all an absolute embarrassment." Scallio began to raise up into the air. "You four do realize that I barely used a fraction of my strength?" and they hadn't even managed to damage him slightly. "And I'm nothing compared to what we'll likely be facing." perhaps he'd been too lax with them. Well, that was going to end here, today. "It's time to toughen up you pathetic monkeys." he barked, "Get to training and I don't want you to stop until you collapse!" he folded his arms against his chest.
"And if you do I want you to pick yourself back up and keep going." this was going to be a long day.
