Kayen watched and waited with a vaguely bored expression as Nashi sought to make good on his claim that he still had more power, that all he needed was a bit of time and slowly but surely his claim became a reality, his aura began to intensify and his whole body tensed as Kayen felt the Earthlings power surge, but it was not quite the massive spike she had been hoping for. Instead it was slower, like the self proclaimed Senbyo was trying to force himself to become stronger, dragging his power level higher and higher. And the results while slow going were not technically BAD, he very nearly doubled his already impressive power, that was more than enough to rank him among the stronger warriors Kayen knew of, put him above a whole hell of a lot of her soldiers Oozaru powers, and severly outclassed her power up until her last fight with Vocado. But it was not even HALF her current strength, even weaker when compared to the full potential she had available to her. But apparently this was still not the full extent of his power, just the extent that he could force out, now Nashi claimed to need to be attacked, perhaps it was something like Tarch’s situation, a lot of potential locked up behind a ‘need’ for it. Of course the question was how MUCH power was being held back. She wasn’t even sure the Earthling knew how much power she was working with. ‘Something with substance’ would have to settle for not QUITE her best, even in this form of Super Saiyan Kayen had trouble holding back the lethality of her attacks. Her weaker techniques were easy enough “Alright, hope you know what you’re doing because I dont want to hear you get pissy if this is too much” Kayen rolled her shoulders and with a single swift motion brought Fateburn from her back and then down in a powerful arc in front of her, followed quickly by a second slash back along the first one’s arc, each swing releasing a pulse of golden energy from the blade that formed together as they rushed at Nashi!

739,592PLPerhaps Nashi shouldn’t have been so hasty to call for Kayen to use such a powerful attack, especially when the power he’d need to survive it was finicky at the best of times and unreachable at the worst. Hell, he didn’t even know if that degree of power would be enough! How strong was this chick, anyway? 739,594PLNow focus, Nashi! Your life may depend on this! Though, to be fair, nowadays, his life depended on quite an awful lot. He was getting sick of depending. What he needed was to take charge. What he needed was the will to act on the world. What he needed was power! As Nashi saw the Demonic Ravager attack sweep its way off of her blade, the flow of time slowed. He was shining gold, reminiscent of a Super Saiyan… only, heaps cooler. His tail and hair shone with gold. His hair, too, was tall and spiky. Even his eyes were gold! The only bit of blue left on him was his pants. And his shoes. And his soul. 2,240,000PL!What was it that Hale said to him? What was it that Hale called him? Something about having spiky, colourful hair? ”I am Nashi, the hero of Earth! And I am, the LEGENDARY SUPER SAIYAN!!!” That was what Hale called it, right?Nashi effortlessly struck the energy slice to the side with a casual hand gesture. The moments after Kayen released her attack seemed to pass in a sort of slow motion as Kayen watched carefully to see if she had still overestimated the Earthlings abilities. For as big as Nashi talked there was a very real chance that his concept of where his power lay in the grand scheme of things was WILDLY different from the reality of the situation, while he claimed to know Ramen and thus might know her power Ramen was just as likely to have held back to avoid undue harm to him, and if Ramen never actually said as much as he would have no idea. At the very least though Kayen was certain she wouldn't kill- The Ravager was closer now and Kayens thoughts were cut off as Nashi began screeching, accompanied by a sudden spike in his power, still not enough to overcome the ravager but he was getting closer and closer with every moment the spikes in his power becoming ever more pronounced the closer the attack got until finally he was no longer in immediate danger of just being taken down in one strike. But that was not the full extent of his power, there was a massive explosion of energy from the Earthling as he reached a level familiar to Kayen, and his hair become amusingly familiar as well as the blue was quickly replaced by a Super Saiyan-esq golden and with that gold came the strength that allowed him to deflect the Ravager harmlessly sending it flying through a swathe of trees rather than cutting him down. The biggest surprise however was the claim Nashi made that he was ‘the’ Legendary Super Saiyan. She had mostly pegged the man as a pure Earthling, sure he wasn’t quite like either of the normal ‘type’ of Earthling but she supposed it WAS possible he was a hybrid. “And here I was thinking you were a full Earthling, I didn’t realize you had Saiyan blood. But you ARE a bit mistaken, if you ARE a Saiyan you’re just A Super Saiyan, certainly not THE. You’re somewhere around the fourth of the modern era to my knowledge” Kayen explained casually though she remained prepared for a fight, not entirely certain if Nashi wanted to keep going or if he just wanted a chance to display his full strength.

… ‘Saiyan blood’? A part of Nashi’s mind still stuck to his old idea of what the saiyans were. He had seen plenty around: they had black hair, dark eyes and tails, ate plenty and were a big tougher than usual, so from that Nashi formed the idea that they were just a type of earthling. But, later, when Hale saw Nashi’s tail and (blue-)coloured hair and professed that he must have been a Super Saiyan, Nashi realised that being a saiyan or a Super Saiyan or whatever was something earned. The idea of there being ‘saiyan blood’, though, seemed to challenge these preconceptions. The way he interpreted that, wouldn’t that mean one of his parents was a saiyan, or at least part saiyan? He knew that couldn’t have been possible on his mother’s side, but he didn’t actually know any relatives on his father’s side (barring, of course, his father), so… he might have to ask about that later. If he was to find anything from it, it wouldn’t be what he was looking for. In reality, saiyan blood had nothing to do with it, as evidenced by his golden eyes. The transformations just both happened to rely on the same chakra: the one of the chest, of the solar plexus, of gold and of power, and of the tingly sensation on your back. ”No.” His words carried great weight: they were clear and ideal in voice due to the active throat chakra and was carried far by the golden power surrounding him. ”Well, maybe. Perhaps. Just a bit. I’m the best one, in any case.” Nashi left his martial stance just so he could enter it again. ”And I can prove it, too. Prepare yourself, Kayen, for I shall send your way a deceptively weak attack!”
In barely any time at all, Nashi brought together enough energy for an attack. ”Blue!” The yellow ki turned blue, upon hearing that that was the colour it was supposed to be. ”Bro!” The ki, physically incapable of turning into a bro, simply grew a bit in power and in size. ”BALL!!” Nashi threw the simple attack towards the Queen. When he said the attack was weak, he meant it, at least compared to what either of them were capable of. But, ‘deceptively weak’? It sort of implied it was stronger than it seemed, or that there was a trick involved. This, itself, was a deception. It was just about as bog-standard an energy attack could get. [A1] Blue Bro Ball used! 739,200PL headed towards Kayen! Whatever is she going to do against the might of such a powerful attack?!?!

The longer the staredown between herself and Nashi went down the more Kayen began to wonder about the ‘Super Saiyan’ while it had at first seemed a lot like he WAS some sort of hybrid, now she was starting to have doubts. He certainly had the power but the look was just a bit… off… more so than she would expect even from a hybrid, Kayen was herself not ‘pure’ Saiyan and while it was only small amount presumably if that had an effect on the ‘look’ then she would have had some notable differences between herself and Vocado. But there were not, outside of how she channeled her power and that had to do with the Ruby rather than her blood, meanwhile Nashi’s form while similar was distinctly different now that she was past the initial surprise, his hair while it had the traditional sort of ‘powered up, flowing with energy’ look it was not anywhere near as dramatic a change, outside of color, as her own. And then there were the eyes, the eys REALLY did it. A super saiyans eyes were green, where Nashi’s were gold, whatever he was doing it was close, but not truly a Super Saiyan transformation, perhaps he had some Saiyan blood, the Earthling certainly didn’t seem entirely certain of it earning a roll of the eyes from the Queen at his comment. Kayen swiftly swung Fateburn around to let the flat of the blade take the brunt of the attack, as the ‘deceptively weak’ attack came at her, she could sense its power and was mostly banking on the fact that she felt reasonably certain this Earthling lacked the ability to read power himself and simply believed he could bluff her into not simply treating the weak attack as it was. “You sure you should be calling that ‘deceptively’ weak?” Kayen smirked as she swung Fateburn and rolled her shoulders, the blast would have destroyed a weaker warrior but not Kayen, though taking it like that certainly had not been PLEASANT
