> OCULAR: ONLINE. > OLFACTORY: ONLINE. > AUDITORY: ONLINE. > HAPTIC: ONLINE. > THERMO: ONLINE. RESTORING CONSCIOUSNESS . . . With a thick puff of hazy purple smoke and a dull whirring noise coming to a sharp stop, Iyokan's eyelids rolled back and her eyes flickered into life. As the haze of white noise faded and her ocular sensory functions hummed as they warmed up, her expression slowly turned to a look of horror. "Shocked. What happened?" The city she had just been defending, moments of consciousness ago. Accessing her internal CMOS, Iyokan located the current time and date. AGE 3019. How could this be? That would mean she had been inactive for 2291 years. With the waste and damage surrounding her, it was very clear to her - they had lost. Those rampaging apes had slaughtered her people thousands of years prior, and all that remained was this wasteland of devastation and noxious fumes. Now that she stopped to think about it, a thought grabbed her attention. If she had been inactive for so long... why had she booted just now? Looking down at her body, it seemed the damage she'd taken when struck and stamped upon by the Great Ape was still present. A large dent in her lower torso, a gash through her breastplate allowing the destron in her core to leak. Reaching a partially damaged hand up, she reached behind her head an- she felt something.Whipping around to find the source of this sensation, she found a small tuffle robot with a maintenance cable connecting from it to the back of her skull. The small robot froze in place under her gaze, and as she unclicked the cable from it's jack, the robot raced off in a scramble, hastening as she moved forward to follow it, quickly losing it under the rubble and clutter. After a few moments of tossing rocks aside, she slumped to her knees and cried out in frustration. Smacking at the side of her head her vision blurred for a second before her 3D Scan Mode activated, scanning the nearby area for Battle Power signatures. There were a few small signatures that corresponded with the records she had for standard battle drones, cleaning drones, ect. Nothing living. Nothing new. In the distance, there were thousands. More than that, easily. The number was rising quicker and quicker. Her robotic eyes adjusted, lenses firing, as she squinted out at the horizon in shock and horror. The saiyans? Estimated population growth in the event of catastrophic failure or loss of the war could not have been further than the truth. There tiny population had grown... and Iyokan did not like it. She was programmed to feel a wealth of emotions, and right now, her little artificial heart was pumping with fear and concern. Straying into the closest building that seemed to be mostly intact that she could find, she connected herself to an old tuffle computer and started searching databases for any recent events worthy of note. Besides some inane automatic analytics of energy sources nearby, and some termination notices from old machines, very little had been logged in the few hundred years... except, a short time ago several drone pods had been activated and fired off into space. Iyokan's eyes glimmered with hope, and she downloaded the co-ordinates into her personal mainframe and dusted off an old escape pod that she quickly re-purposed into a tracking vessel. Into the stars, she soared in search of what she hoped might have been some Tuffles preserved by cryo-technology. If not, she could at least endeavor to protect what might be valuable tuffle secrets.
BLIP. BLIP. BLIP. APPROACHING DESTINATION. Iyokan was rocked back from power-preservation-mode by the rustling of her ship as it struck the ground suddenly, sloshing through the mud and dirt that it kicked up like a blunted knife through warm butter. Adjusting some dislocated servos, she stepped out into the green air and padding across the blue vegetation. With her 3D Scan Mode, she surveyed the surroundings and sent out a message on the three private tuffle frequencies she had still tuned in to her internal commmunicator. "Hopeful. Hello. This is Iyokan, designation D-10K4. I am broadcasting to this planet on all tuffle frequencies available to me. If there is any Tuffles remaining, please respond. I am also attaching my co-ordinates." KP: 3/3 - Duran Korla

Korla sighed as she closed her scouter back up, navigating the bastardized technology was incredibly frustrating, in some ways it was light years beyond what she was used to, but in others it had somehow actually regressed. Not being a tech expert Korla assumed it had to do with the Saiyans never being able to fully understand their technology and instead of trying to gain that understanding they blended it with the advancements of other races they conquered, along with the tech of the Cold Force when they eventually fell under that banner. Regardless with great effort Korla had managed to reactivate some of the latent subsystems, some of the ancient baseline code and tech that likely was replicated without thought as it was simply easier to leave what they believed to be irrelevant rather than trying to understand or fix it. With the systems reactivated she would be able to have more secure contact with Duran if ever they needed to split up, and perhaps if they were really lucky, make contact with any of the others… if there WERE others… The scouter blinked to life running through its startup systems and then to Korla’s surprise it began a transmission, she scrambled to get the device on as a startlingly familiar voice spoke through it followed by a set of coordinates not far from Korla’s own location. “It can't be..” But then it HAD to be, the voice, the way she spoke, and of course her designation, they were all right, and there was nobody alive who would know to fake such information. “Iyokan? Is that really you? I’m on my way! This is Korla, A-5B277” where Iyokan’s designation was more a production number Korla the designation Korla gave was her military ID, something concrete that the Android would be able to use to be certain that it truly was Korla she was speaking to. If Iyokan was in a situation even vaguely similar to her own or Duran’s she was surely still trying to wrap her mind around everything and likely hesitant to trust. And with how different Korla looked she would NEED Iyokan to know that she was no fake.

PL: 72,000 Iyokan's eyes flickered brightly as she perked up at the familiar voice transmitting through the communicator. It was Korla! It had to be - 2000 years on and she could recite her exact military designation... it was very unlikely records of that survived long enough in any readable format to foreign bodies, let alone that they could fabricate her voice as well as be certain the name and number were legitimate. "Ecstatic. Korla! Yes, it's me!" Iyokan shouted aloud, despite not needing to in order to use her internal communicator. Her internal systems flashed with a confirmation after scanning the audio being transmitted by what was hopefully Korla, further re-assuring Iyokan of her sister's good fate. As her systems tried to triangulate her position based on the incoming feed, Iyokan spoke openly into the feed. "Anxious. How did you survive? It's been 2000 years! Is Dr. Satsuma with you??" Her voice was perked with newfound energy, adrenaline and joy but small licks of worry and fear resonated throughout. As she moved her head around, a small blip went off on her radar and she snapped her head toward the source, spotting an energy signature of 16,000 in the distance. After a few moments as they closed into view and her optic sensors adjusted their focus, the system flashed purple with an ID overhead. KORLA. >SPECIES: ERROR(?). >ID: A-5B277. >BATTLE POWER: 16,000 BP (10.6 RDZ). With a confused twist of her nose at the error in the species column, Iyokan quickly brushed it aside as due to the damage she had taken 2000 years ago, that was still in need of serious repair. Calling out to the distant figure, widening her eyes at the tall, silver-skinned figure that was moments away and in clear view, still fully labeled as Korla on the display in her internal system. She titled her head to the side, eyeing her curiously. "Confused. Korla?" KP: 3/3 - Duran -> Korla

A great gust of wind swept across the land. Growls and guttural, muffled growls erupted, accompanying the sound of torn dirt and shredded bark. Duran had been getting accustomed to his body over the past few weeks, forcing himself to undergo grueling solo training. The first generation Destron Droid shadowboxed for hours on end, fighting imaginary opponents. When resting, Duran would run endless Combat Simulations inside of his own mind. Hundreds of battles waged against the same opponent, the man who's face Duran saw the first upon arriving on Namek. Vocado.Yet through all this, Duran stuck close to Korla, never venturing far from the small 'camp' they had set up. With Korla back in his life, Duran's will had strengthened incredibly. No longer was he protecting only himself. Now, he had someone else to fight for. He would go to the ends of the Earth to avenge both Korla and himself, to once again see their people thrive on Planet Plant. Not Vegeta.
Duran let out one final roar as he lashed out with his gunblade. The gust of wind his swing created blew across the plains with a deafening quake, the sheer pressure of the air cutting through several Ajissa trees that laid sprewn about as if they were paper. As the trees fell around him, Duran panted intensely, a glare cast to the ground in focused rage. The Android breathed inward, and calmed himself. He felt the need to see Korla again, simply to calm himself. It was tiring, being so filled with fury all the time. Something about Korla calmed the cold-blooded Android. While he lacked a heart, knowing she was there almost made him feel human again. Moments later, Duran was close to arriving at their 'home', in clear sight from afar. Yet something to the side caught Duran's eye, a vague, distant figure flying off, nothing but a speck in the clouds. The trail left behind immediately betrayed her however, as it came straight from their camp. Where was Korla headed? Concerned, the Android trailed behind her as closely as he could, yet Korla's new body far outsped his. It was only a minute or two after Korla had arrived at a strange landing site, yet that small amount of time was all it took for Duran to have no idea what he was looking at. Carefully, Duran touched down onto the soil not far from Korla, shooting a curious glance toward the Tuffle woman. ''Korla, what is wrong? Why have you come...-'' Duran asked, looking to the side. ''...Here.'' Yet it was then that he truly fell silent. Thousands of questions filled his head, yet at the same time, he felt clarity. Duran laid his eyes on a small and familiar figure. That purple hair, those distinct red markings...
''...Ah, well isn't that a surprise.'' The hulking droid spoke softly, his voice calming.
His eyes lowered happily as a smile curled onto his face, albeit hidden by his mask.
''Welcome back, Iyokan.''

“I can explain that when I land, it will be… easier in person” Korla spoke through the scouter to Iyokan hopeful that she would not grow suspicious over Korla’s unwillingness to give answers before her arrival paired with of course her radically different appearance. Korla had never been overly fond of giving important information over a scouter though and she hoped that Iyokan would recognize that as in keeping with her normal behavior. Saiyans were nowhere near as intelligent as a Tuffle but even during the war there was suspicion that the Saiyans had begun to adapt stolen tech, with scouters there was always the risk of a transmission being intercepted, and a safe channel only remained that way until someone eventually cracked it. At least in person the only things you had to worry about were spys and traitors. Korla landed a fair distance from Iyokan, to give her sister a chance to get a good look at her and not feel threatened by her presence. As Korla waited for Iyokan to register that the person before her was Korla she staved off her nervousness by focusing on something amusing and pleasant. She was quite a bit taller than Ioykan now. Before they had been roughly the same height, Korla had always maintained that she was a few inches taller than Iyokan but it was all mostly irrelevant when they compared themselves to the literal behemoth that was Duran. After a few moments Iyokan spoke up, and Korla found herself just a bit grateful for Iyokan’s verbal tic, confused was far better than angry or a wide variety of other possible emotions “Yes, its me. This is why I wanted to wait until we were in person to explain the situation” Korla paused as her scouter picked up another arrival, a familiar one however as Duran had either followed her or gotten the same message. This was good, Duran was the same as he had always been and would lend certainty to Korla’s explanation, as well it meant they were finally all together again, for so long Korla had hoped for this but never quite believed it would happen. “During the Full Moon, when the Saiyans transformed, my father called me to his lab. He brought me there under the impression that we would be working on some sort of counter to what the Saiyans were doing, preparing to mount some sort of defense. The reality however is that I believe he realized that there would be no defenses we could mount. He tricked me into a stasis pod that did… something to me, I’m still not entirely certain and his computer was so damaged I could get little information out of it. I am something a bit… MORE than a normal Tuffle now though. But unfortunately, as far as I can tell he was not so lucky” Her relationship with her father had always been a strange one, they had always been a bit distant from each other but sad as it was it made Korla feel good to know that in what he likely saw as his last moments her father's focus was on protecting her, saving her.

PL: 72,000 Iyokan stared blankly and confusedly, even after Korla opened her mouth and her familiar voice confirmed the new form to be hers. As she explained why she hadn't opened with 'warning, i've changed', Iyokan mused on the familiarity of the form. She was taller now - much taller, standing nearly where Duran once had... but she looked close to her old self still. She frowned in splintered dismay among the flutters of excitement in her heart as the thought of Duran crossed her mind. As she went to open her mouth, her systems picked up another signature. DURAN. >SPECIES: TUFFLE-SAIYAN HYBRID (DESTRON CYBORG). >ID: D-03K0. >BATTLE POWER: 4,000 BP (2.6 RDZ). Snapping to the side as her sensors adjusted, an ID flashed overhead and Iyokan's face lit up with joy. "Elated. Duran!" Before she ran over on impulse, to inspect if he too was real, Iyokan's eyes met Korla's face - that now towered above her - once more, and she listened to her story. A sour look crossed her face, which quickly fell to the pains of sorrow. "Pained. So he's..." She couldn't bring herself to say it. To commit the fact that her creator, her father, the man who had given her the ability to think and feel, was... gone. She stiffened her lip, and wiped away at tears that weren't there due to damaged ducts. "Distracted."Anyway.., it's good to see you guys! I was so worried that I was the only one left." As she spoke, a loud whirring could be heard emitting from within her chest, and she stifled a small cough-like motion as destron spurted out of her mouth in the same fashion a wounded soldier might spit up blood. She looked at her friends, and then looked to the skyline, averting her gaze for a moment. She didn't want them to worry. "Dismissive. I'm fine." KP: 3/3 - Duran -> Korla

Duran's heart felt heavy. Iyokan was alive as well. While genuinely calm, he also had no idea how to even respond to this sudden surprise. He was so uncertain of Iyokan and Korla's fates, and was close to believing them to be dead. But then that was all swept away- a foreign feeling for Duran. So much was taken from him, throughout all his life. Never did it feel like he had been given anything. But now, he had been given the best gift of them all... Hope. The Android chuckled lowly as Iyokan ran up to him, gazing at him with widened eyes. ''We're...Just as surprised as you are, I believe.'' Duran spoke, briefly glancing toward Korla. As Duran looked back, he gently placed his robotic hand on Iyokan's head, and ruffled the Android's hair. ''We're all alive.'' He said with a hidden smile. While it was stating the obvious, it was still a bit hard to believe.
Korla then explained to Iyokan why she appeared so different. The story was already known to Duran, yet it still hit him deep in his core. All of them had a close relation with Doctor Satsuma, and to hear that he didn't survive despite his genius mind hurt greatly. It was especially painful for Korla.
''...Your father's loss hurts us all, Korla.'' Duran spoke with a sigh, placing his hand on her shoulder. ''Yet his sacrifice has given us the opportunity to rebuild what has been taken from us...'' The Android paused. ''Your father has given our people a second chance.''
He was trying his best to inspire Korla. All three of them knew the pain of loss to some extent. There was no use wallowing in grief, though. It would get them nowhere.
''He's left our peoples' fate in our hands. It's all up to us, now.''
He'd cast a serious look toward both of them. Grizzled, fueled with determination and fiery rage toward their Saiyan enemies. Duran had no doubt in his mind that Iyokan and Korla were just as determined to take this second chance that had been given to them. They would get their revenge, and retake Plant for the sake of their lost people.
Suddenly however, Iyokan hurled up a glob of Destron. Duran felt concerned for the Droid, as he knew all too well what it was like having your body deactivated for so long. Plus, it didn't help that the Android betrayed her emotions at every whim. ''We need to get you repaired, Iyokan.'' Duran spoke bluntly, ignoring Iyokan's dismissive gesture. ''You're in even worse shape than I was after reactivating.''
He'd look to Korla. While Duran was able to repair himself for the most part over the past months, they didn't have that time to waste now that they all had reunited. ''Are you able to repair her, Korla? If only temporarily, until we find a place with more resources?'' He hoped Korla could do something for Iyokan, being the daughter of Plant's greatest mind...There had to be something, right?

Korla had never really given herself much time to grieve for her father, she had never really left ‘fight mode’ from the day she awoke, constantly pushing away her fears and sadness over what had happened in favor of anger to drive her forward, to push herself to carve out a useful place for herself in the ruins of the capital and from there steal a ship. She’d always pushed off the idea of grieving until she had the others, and now she had them. She could finally relax just a little bit, even if they still had so much to do. But while she had been pushing off her grief it was still VERY fresh for Duran and Iyokan. Duran was the one to break the sad silence that had fallen over the trio after Korla broke the news of her father’s likely demise, part of her wanted to correct him, to claim that there WAS a chance her father was still alive somewhere. He’d had a pod for her so it was possible that there had been another for himself, his computer gave no indication of his demise but also unfortunately gave no indication of his survival. But it was likely just false hope, if he WAS out there it would just be a pleasant surprise if ever they found him, for now it was best to just accept the more likely reality “You’re right Duran, and we’ll make the best of the chance he gave us.” There would be a lot of work to do in order to actually make good on that second chance though, rebuilding anything would be a momentous task with just the three of them. Four if she included Roma. Korlas thoughts on how to proceed were cut off as Iyokan began to very clearly unintentionally and unwillingly emit destron in what looked to be a very uncomfortable manner, despite Iyokan’s claims Korla and Duran were both immediately aware that things were most certainly NOT fine for their friend. “You’re definitely not fine Iyokan, we have no reason to hide problems from one another, especially anything to do with our health” Duran wanted to know if she could fix Iyokan and Korla was left uncertain, Iyokan was VERY advanced, likely even by modern standards, she was one of the last series of Destron Droids produced, fixing her would not be as simple as her work on the assault and protector droids back on Plant. “I can try, I’ll call in Medi to assist, it’s primarily a medic but has the knowledge needed to repair mechanical issues as well” Korla said tapping her scouter to call in the little Medic Droid that had acted as a sort-of companion for her, she’d finally settled on giving it a name simply because calling it ‘medic droid’ all the time was tiresom. “Iyokan do you think you’re good to head back to our camp? Be honest, we all know you'll just add 'evasive' or something similar if you try lying.” Korla said giving a small smile as she made an effort to add some levity to the situation, Iyokan's way of speaking was strangely refreshing, you never needed to worry about if she was hiding something, by her very nature doing such a thing was immensely difficult.

PL: 72,000 Iyokan cursed the tic in her programming that preceded her communications with her feelings. The last thing she wanted, when they had found each other after literally thousands of years, was to make her friends worry. When Duran commented on how out of shape she was, and Korla insisting she be honest, she felt like she might blush red if she was able. But even the artificial adrenal functions responsible for that were failing her. "Embarassed. Okay. Fine, maybe I am a little... busted. But I don't want you guys worrying!" She shied away from her friends' gazes as she wafted the destron she'd coughed away from her, trying to assure herself that she was still in okay condition. > REMINDER..! > ERROR. CODE 413: PRIMARY CORE SEVERELY DAMAGED. LEAKAGE DETECTED. > LEAKAGE REACHING DANGEROUS LEVELS. As the alert sounded internally and the purple text flashed across the top of her vision, Iyokan sighed in defeat as she could deny it no longer. She felt weak. She imagined this was how natural-born tuffles felt when they grew tired, and needed rest. She had always simulated that behavior on low charge before the installation of her current core, but she had never truly felt the delirious frustration of feeling her own sluggish nature. She stumbled a few steps forward, slipping a little onto Duran and struggling to keep a grip of herself. The warning signs and sirens grew louder and began to blot out external noise. "Worried. Guys, I... I don't feel so good..." She mumbled as her memory disk whirred, giving off a post code as she gripped tighter trying to lean against Duran, and she made a last worried glance through half blinks toward Korla, her vision blurring and her mouth refusing to respond as she tried to make one last fatigue attempt to assure them she was okay. Ultimately, she failed and her body dropped into a limp, motionless state as her servos released her into her body's natural preservation mode. Duran nodded firmly towards Korla. Any help right now would be of use, however little it would be. ''We'll take further action once we return. That is, however if...'' The Android turned his head toward Iyokan, who was looking worse for wear. ''If you can make it.'' Duran stated, his eye lowering in slight concern. He wasn't too afraid of Iyokan suffering permanent damage, or worse, death. She had spent over 2,000 years inactive amidst the rubble of their people. She was tough.
But still...That didn't mean they didn't have to move quickly.
He tilted his head sideways at Iyokan's remark, brow raised. ''What? Ofcourse we're worried about you, you're our friend.'' Duran stated bluntly, not really the type for subtlety. ''For all we know you could've been dead.'' He spoke gruffly. It was a bit of a harsh way to put it, but Duran was never any good with conversation. He'd always been a tad...Direct, to put it lightly.
It seemed that his twinge of concern had been placed correctly, too. Iyokan grew visibly more tired, stumbling forward before leaning onto Duran. The Android grunted, crouching down and reaching out to help her stay upright. A concerned hum came from the Android as he heard Iyokan's body whir and create all sorts of noise. ''Stay with us, Iyokan...'' He pleaded with the Droid in response to her own worries, but to no avail. Iyokan's body fell limp into Duran's arms.
''...Iyokan?'' He called out.
After some silence, it was clear that Iyokan was out of commission for the time being. ''Damn it!'' Duran cursed, growing increasingly worried for Iyokan's safety. Her body was leaking Destron at an alarming rate- they had to move fast!
''We have to return to camp and stop this leakage!'' Duran spoke aloud to Korla, looking up at her with a worried eye. The Android took Iyokan's body into his arms, letting her legs fall over the hull of his gunblade's cannon whilst his hand supported her head. Standing upright, he'd look over to Korla with a hurried gaze.
''I will fly beside you, let's move.''

“What will keep me from worrying about you will be you not leaking destron everywhere, now lets-” Korla began trying to assess how best to handle the situation, tapping her scouter to bring up some diagnostics on Iyokan’s current situation though the information it spat back at her was jumbled and confused as Korla’s efforts to bring the device fully up to speed struggled with conflicting Tuffle and Saiyan programming, it seemed even their technology did not want to get along. And then of course Iyokan’s eyes sort of glazed over as she received some sort of internal diagnostic or something based off of her sister’s soured look and sigh, Iyokan could be a bit stubborn when it came to care directed at her but Korla was just as stubborn about ensuring she was well maintained. Finally she spoke again and while Korla did not get a full understanding of what was wrong it DID become very clear whatever was wrong it was BAD as Iyokan fully admitted that she was not well and she braced against Duran for support before she was out completely. Korla’s instinctual reaction was to rush to Iyokan and try to awaken her, figure out what was wrong, but instinct was not what she needed right now, she needed logic and she needed to THINK. Another few taps of her scouter got it back to a functioning state and the scouter provided her with the single bit of information she needed, a low level and weakening power reading from Iyokan, but one consistent with the preservation mode of a Destron Droid and not with…something worse. She need not even tell Duran to pick her up “Keep her steady, I’ll start working on identifying the extent of the issue while we move, keep an eye out for me while we fly so I don't smack into anything... “ Korla paused and let out a low frustrated groan “You will need to keep low to the ground, I may be stronger now but I still cannot fly and I haven't had a flight pack since... before.” she’d tried figuring it out back on Plant but the ability seemed beyond her current capabilities. “Your flight should help keep her stable though so that works” The best Korla could hope to do right now was move alongside Duran or with extreme difficulty try running backwards at a fast enough rate to keep up with Duran while also trying to investigate the issues plaguing Iyokan, presumably with the destron leak it was something related to her core, but she would need to see if there was any further damage both from whatever had caused the initial issue AND potentially from the leak itself.

Duran's core pumped intensely, his senses heightening in response to the immediate danger Iyokan was in. An intense feeling of care and concern had washed over the Android as he rushed Korla to follow along. What Duran forgot however, was that Korla didn't know how to fly- nor did she have a Flight Pack on her person. The Android averted his gaze with an irritated click of his tongue, cursing his own forgiveness along with just how unfortunate it was. He listened to Korla as she tried to explain their next plan of action, and while it sounded ridiculous for her to 'run backwards', Duran hesitantly agreed. ''V-very well, but we must be hasty...!'' The Droid nodded, breaking out into a small run before lifting himself and Iyokan skyward.
He'd do his best to adjust his speed so that Korla could keep up with them. The immense boost in power Korla's transformation gave her surely came in handy now, as it also meant she was much faster than before. She was even able to keep up with Duran's flight on foot! While the situation didn't call for it, he couldn't help but commend his friend's progression in thought.
Yet everything proved uncomfortable. Constantly having to shift speeds, angles, and posture just so Korla could work properly whilst flying...?! It was ridiculous! Duran groaned internally, looking up to stare Korla straight in the eye with a look of urgency. ''This won't do!'' He interrupted her whilst working, ''On my back, Korla! Hold on tight!'' He'd practically order the woman, flying just ahead of her, low enough for her to jump on.
''We must get back to base ASAP, we can inspect her much easier once there!'' Duran shouted over his shoulder, waiting for Korla to latch on.
Once Korla had jumped on Duran's back, the Android roared as he sparked his Destron Core into overdrive. Thick, toxic gas was pumped through the Droid's veins at hyperspeed, the heart-like Core pumping vividly. Leftover gas that Duran couldn't hold in his body drifted through the gaps in his mask, fading into the Namekian skies. He'd blast into the horizon, shooting across the plains like a comet in hopes that they could make it.
''Come on Iyokan, you're stronger than this...!''
If Iyokan would be taken from them so shortly after finally reuniting...He wouldn't know what to do. Fear loomed over Duran's shoulders.

Korla very quickly realized just how absurd and foolish her plan was as they began their rush back to the camp, she was making SOME progress but nowhere near enough to actually get Iyokan fixed, but she couldn't simply STOP now she felt a need to do something, ANYTHING with all the time available to her. Any ‘wasted’ time felt wrong, like it pulled Iyokan further and further from them. It was Duran however who made the decision to cut off her desperate attempts to do anything she could as immediately as she could barking an order for her to get on her back, the commanding tone snapped Korla out of her desperate state, pulled her back to reality and refocused her priorities. He was right, as much as she wanted to do anything now to help Iyokan her efforts were getting minimal results, waiting, painful as it was, was better. Korla gave him a silent nod and hopped onto his back holding tight to allow Duran to move as fast as he could without worrying about her falling off. To her surprise ‘as fast as he could’ was quite a bit faster than even Korla had expected as Duran’s power skyrocketed and with his so did his speed. Korla could only imagine how much faster he would be once they could begin training and make repairs on his systems as well. Now that they were in the air Korla had a few moments to think, part of it was spent planning how best to get to work on getting Iyokan fixed. Once she had Medi at her side it would hopefully all come together a bit more easily, though she was still concerned. ANother part of her however wished she had her flight pack, she’d forgotten how enjoyable flying was and even if the trip was short due to Duran pushing himself as hard as he could to move as fast as he could, it just made the trip itself all the more wild. They would very quickly arrive at the camp to find Medi scurrying around dragging parts from the ship around with great difficulty in an effort to create a safe place for Iyokan to be layed down on “Well done Medi, Duran put her down carefully where Medi has set us up” Korla said releasing her grip on Duran’s back and allowing herself to fall backward doing a flip and bracing herself for impact as she touched down. Medi frantically scurried over to her climbing up her side and onto her shoulder beeping rapidly as he began scanning Iyokan even while she remained in Duran’s arms and becoming increasingly more distressed as he began to understand the android’s current state.

With Korla firmly latching onto his back, the Destron Cyborg blasted through the Namekian skies at breakneck speeds.
The three were lucky that Iyokan had crash-landed not too far away from the small base Korla and Duran had set up, but still far enough for it to be a major inconvenience. He couldn't help but look at Iyokan's motionless body limping in his arms, her wounds still leaking Destron.
It wouldn't take long for them to arrive back at their encampment. Korla's small Medical Droid had already begun to clean up the mess to provide space for Iyokan's repairs. Duran didn't hesitate to carefully lay Iyokan down where Medi had cleaned up, before turning to Korla hastily.
''Even if we stop this leakage, she's lost too much Destron.'' Duran spoke worriedly. Even as they were speaking, Iyokan's still body leaked the toxic substance onto the soil and into the air. If they couldn't act quick, they might truly lose her. ''But where are we supposed to...'' The Droid looked back to Iyokan with a stiff, concerned glare as he grew silent. He walked over to her, and kneeled by her side. Suddenly, something struck him.
''Korla, I need you to attach my core to hers!-''
The Cyborg immediately came into action, standing up in a panic as he threw off the Combat Armor he was wearing. Duran revealed his torso in full, a grotesque mix of fleshy parts and robotic parts. Bolts had been placed where no person would ever want them, and it was obvious some of Duran's skin was merely synthetic.
Immediately, he turned to Korla. ''We'll perform Destron Transfusion. I'm unsure if it'll work, but we lack other options.'' He hurriedly explained as he walked to a bundle of messy supply crates. Duran pulled out a scalpel, and turned back to Korla.
''The parts surrounding my core are made of flesh. You can reach it.'' The Cyborg pointed at a specific point in his chest, where most would find their heart. Duran walked over to Korla, and forced the scalpel into her grasp, holding her hand tightly.
Duran gazed into Korla's eyes for a moment, before pleading.
''Do not think of me. If we want Iyokan to live, this is our only choice...Please, Korla.''

The moment they approached the base and Duran dropped to a safe height Korla let go landing and rushing to the area that Medi had set up rooting through their collection of tools and technology to find anything that could prove useful, thankfully Medi had already begin to search out anything that would be of use to fixing Iyokan allowing Korla to quickly refocus on Duran as he lay Iyokan down and gave his understanding of the situation. Duran knew very well the issues that were plaguing Iyokan, he’d likely experienced similar during the war considering he was a far more direct fighter, the type to draw the attention of many Saiyans. He raised a very concerning and important issue, the Destron leak was disconcertingly high, physically fixing Iyokan would not be TOO much of an issue especially with Medi at her side, given enough time Iyokan could likely do some of the less internal repairs herself. But Iyokan was still and had been for who knows how long, venting Destron, for the Destron Droids the gas was a bit like blood, it was required to keep their systems running and if they lost too much too fast it was just like bleeding out, so how exactly would they- Korla’s frantic thought process was cut through by Duran’s request to attach his core to hers. It was of course the smartest thing to do, like a blood transfusion it would allow them to refuel Iyokan’s core so that when they fixed it there would be destron to pump through her system. It was not even an entirely uncommon procedure with Iyokan’s model, the issue however was that it was far LESS common with Duran’s, Duran was not entirely machine, he ran twice the risk of complications because his still living parts were blended in with his mechanical ones. “Duran thats… “ Korla began to protest, if she failed this she ran the risk of losing BOTH of them, but she coulden’t continue because she knew there truly WAS no other real option, they could not just let Iyokan die and NOT doing the transfusion would be doing exactly that. Korla tightened her grip on the scalpel Duran had forced into her hand “L..Lay down, next to Iyokan. I’ll have Medi start working on her while I…” Korla paused at the thought of cutting open Duran “while I work on you, we need to move as quickly as possible so we can get the both of you patched up” Once Duran took his spot next to Iyokan Korla would take a few steadying breaths before kneeling next to him.
