Once more the skies over the Lookout darkened as the Stormbreaker appeared overhead, technically speaking it was nowhere near necessary for Kayen to takeoff and fly the Stormbreaker just to visit the Lookout, flying by herself did the job just as well, technically even BETTER since their takeoff had required a bit of care not to destroy the area they had landed in. But the presence that the ship added to her arrival, and the fact it would mask her arrival until the moment she stepped out of it and floated down to the Lookout made it all the more fun. Her last visit had been interesting, the Kami was pleasant enough but Kayen had to cut their meeting off a bit short, short enough to not get a chance to have as long of a conversation with Earth’s Guardian as she had hoped, getting the Namekian on board with her plans would potentially help in getting Carro to accept as well, surely the President would heed the word of his planet’s Guardian? And if not, oh well, at least she would know which of Earth’s leaders was more amenable to her interests. Just as with her last trip Kayen would wait until the ship was near and then exit through one of the portside doorways, the stealth shielding of the ship doing its just right up until Kayen took off from the doorway hopefully alerting Chime to her presence just as she had done last time. Touching down Kayen began a slow walk toward the main and only building on the Lookout taking her time if only to give Chime a chance to realize she was here and react however it was he would consider suitable.

PL: 12,000 Ichi's PL: 12,000 Today had been just another one of those terrible mornings. Every piece of Daruma was sluggish, and heavy, and his mind was weighted down with negativity and some very liberally applied self doubt. He kept thinking to himself about where he'd fallen short, and how ever since he'd come to Earth nothing had seemed to go his way. Every turn had faced him with a new and unforgiving threat to his fragile emotions, sometimes threatening his life too. His body was weak and the world was growing too strong for him to stand against it. Everything seemed totally bleak and unbearable... until he thought about his friends. Nashi. The blue cat was a little eccentric, but that didn't mean that Daruma liked him any less. Since Nashi spent a lot of time down on the tower, they didn't interact much. But every memory they had shared excusing certain horror stories had been one that sparked happy nostalgia. Ichi. The little shadow dragon have been an magical mishap beyond expectation, but still... it seemed he was an overwhelmingly positive blessing on Daruma's life. Something that seemed funny in prospect, given his existence was provided by negative energy. The spark of paternal affection in Daruma's soul was slowly growing for him. Carro. Daruma's only known equal in stress and anxiety, Carro had been a good friend, and had taken up arms to defend Daruma's home more than once. Though they didn't see each other very often, the thought of visiting Carro or bumping into him at Baomart with an awkward inside joke or two always brought a smile to Daruma's face. And then? Then, there was Chime, his favorite reason to get up in the morning. Nobody had been kinder and more understanding of Daruma's newfound heavy feelings than Chime. Nobody could make him smile, or wipe away his tears with an extended hand and a loving expression like he could. Chime was his best friend, and had a large space reserved in Daruma's heart for him. Floating in his happiness at the thought of his friends, Daruma dragged himself up and out of bed. Creeping slowly over to his drawers, he fished out a bland white T-Shirt without any print on it and some tan shorts. Moving back to his bedside table, Daruma groaned. He had a few things on his list today to do. Washing, Dishes, Magic Practice, and a Shopping Trip. With a loud roaring though and a sudden sharp jolt of energy down his spine as he caught whiff of a crazy power level nearby, he tossed the list to the floor and snapped his Tsukibito outfit on in a matter of seconds. Nobody was home today. Daruma was here, and he would have to confront whatever this unfamiliar strength was by himself. Taking a gulp of stale air, he strode out the door and up onto the tiling with Ichi in tow. As he stepped outside he saw the large figure of a saiyan warrior moving toward the tower, slowly. Another gulp. "H-Hello!" Daruma waved nervously, stepping closer to be polite despite his instincts and memories screaming otherwise. "I'm Daruma, Tsukibito and Attendant to this Lookout. What, um, can I do to help you?"

Kayen had sort of expected things to go similar to her last trip to the Lookout, she would pop down to the strange structure and out would run Chime confused and concerned over the sudden massive power signature appearing above his… home? But this time the Namekian would have the relief of recognizing who it was and they could get to talking a bit more than they had last time. Instead as Kayen approached the sole building on the Lookout out from it approached an unfamiliar power paired with an unfamiliar figure, a blue skinned man with what appeared to be some sort of lizard creature following close behind him, the pair weren’t anywhere near Chime’s power but were at the very least above the expected amount for an Earthling, granted she was quite certain the blue skinned man was not actually an Earthling himself. What he was however evaded her, the horns vaguely implied to her that he might perhaps be a Demon of some sort but his energy lacked the strange quality that Demonic energy usually possessed. He introduced himself as Daruma and claimed himself as the Attendant of the Lookout, what that actually meant Kayen was not entirely sure of but she assumed that it was something akin to the role Barb played for her. “Huh, neat. Didn’t figure Chime had enough traffic up here to need someone for that sort of stuff. I’m looking for him though, we met not long ago and I was hoping to continue the chat we were having, I got pulled away to handle some stuff before we could do much more than introduce ourselves and me to make it clear I wasn’t here to blow the place up like I’m sure he thought I was” since apparently the Lookout was apparently a magnet for that type of stuff. “Oh yeah, I’m Kayen by the way” Kayen added having forgotten to introduce herself in kind in her haste to get the ball rolling on Daruma presumably going off to get Chime, she extended her senses to try to pinpoint where the Namekian was but it seemed the Lookout could either block her senses, Chime was hiding his signature, or her was simply not here.

PL: 12,000 Ichi's PL: 12,000 Well, at least this extremely powerful member of the Saiyan Kingdom wasn't here to destroy the Lookout and unleash her chaotic wrath across it's tiling. Hopefully. Sighing in relief a little and letting himself breath easier, but still on edge, Daruma frowned a little bit as he realized he couldn't provide exactly what she was after. "I'm sorry, but unfortunately the Kami is-" As he bowed low, a crude image of Chime appeared in the air fighting ghosts and a large monster made of pizza sauce. "CHIME IS GONE!!! PIZZA!!"Ichi squealed as he dived voraciously into the air, passing straight through the projected scrawl and scattering it into a puff of chalk powder as he struck the tiles of the Lookout head first, his true eye lazily moving around as he groaned, dizzy, into the air around him. "piiiizzzzzzaaaa..."Daruma frowned, half-concerned and half-entertained by the action of his little best friend, and turned back to Kayen with a feigned smile. "As I was saying, the Kami- Chime is not here at the moment. He's out on, er, 'professional business' I suppose you'd call it. Looking into some sinister magic on Earth, I think." Daruma pouted, he hadn't had a lot of time with his friend the past month or so due to him being busy dealing with evil things here and there, or stuck in research and magical practice. He had a lot to do today though, but he didn't feel right shooing away the powerful Saiyan that stood on the Lookout, nor could he if he wanted to, honestly. "Maybe I can help, though? What was it you were looking to talk to Chime about? Sorry, but could you walk with me? I have a few things to attend to today, but I we can still talk." Daruma assumed this would be okay, and clicked his finger at his little buddy, who mindlessly gnawed away at the tile by his jaw. "Come on Ichi, we're doing some gardening."

Kayen raise dan eyebrow as part way through the attendant’s explanation of where Chime was a strange projection appeared between them of what appeared to be Chime fighting… a pizza followed by a strange creature barreling through the image and crashing into the ground nearby, the entire scene was a bit odd though considering Darume appeared unfazed by it Kayen assumed this was somehow normal for him. The strange creature groaned from where it had crashed and Daruma took that as his chance to continue, the response he gave however was not exactly one Kayen was looking for as he claimed Chime was preoccupied with other business, apparently combating strange sinister magic elsewhere. That certainly explained the lack of his power signature, Kayen had mostly assumed the Lookout perhaps had a mystical equivalent to her ships stealth systems to block out energy signatures within the… bowl thing… “Not really sure how much help you can be. I was planning to talk to Chime about…” Kayen paused unsure if she should mention her intended conversations to Daruma, he was apparently the ‘attendant’ which she assumed meant he functioned for Chime in a manner similar to Barb for herself. In all likelihood of Chime had any trust in him then he likely would hear what she had to say ANYWAY. She took the start of their walk to make the decision to just go with it “Earth, or more accurately it’s relationship to my Kingdom.” Kayen said starting out small at least for the time being to see if Daruma would want to avoid hearing more, he called for the little creature causing Kayen to look back at it curiously once more, the Ruby around her neck pulsing very lightly as she focused her attention on the creature. “What is that” Kayen asked not quite taking her eye off ‘Ichi’ as she spoke to Daruma, while perhaps not the nicest phrasing the tone of the question implied a genuine curiosity.

PL: 12,000 Ichi's PL: 12,000 "Earth, huh?" Daruma pursed his lips and furrowed his brow at Kayen's words. Earth's relationship to the Saiyan Kingdom was in question? Well, maybe not question, but rather discussion... or maybe both. It was puzzling to him, he couldn't lie, and he had always thought given how many of them flocked to Earth a year ago to save themselves that the relationship between planets would remain pretty peaceful. "What about it? I thought relations were pretty good, and uh," A thought occurred to him, and he squeezed it in the end of the sentence. "wouldn't that conversation me more suited to Carro, though? He's like, the president."Next, a blunt question was asked that made Daruma burst his cheeks in laughter, but also stung a little in a strange way. He turned around mid walk, and hoisted his little scaled friend onto his shoulder. "This is Ichi Shen. He's... sort of like, the dragon. You know, long snakey guy who grants wishes. Well, he's not the same, but" Daruma tapped at the stone orb that made up one of Ichi's eyes, as the little dragon blinked stunned and confusedly at the motion. "I made him pretty much the same way, so... yeah. He's my own personal little wishing dragon,"Placing the dragon back on the tiling as he squatted down by the garden, Daruma found a sense of immense calm in the action of trimming away at the leaves and watering the soil. A memory of a rare smile washed away his fear at the powerful aura of the woman he addressed, and he tried his best to latch onto that feeling. The dragon chewed on a dandelion and stared idly at the woman, locked onto the eye patch she wore as he traced the shape over his own stone eye. "Ichi, you're being rude. Actually say hi, you rascal.""Fine.!" With a huff, Ichi exploded in an array of lights like miniature fireworks, and scurried up Kayen's leg, curling around her form until he found himself sat on her shoulder. With a splash of color and sparkles, an eye patch with a red star appeared over his eye, and he waved with a little toothed grin at the saiyan. "I'm Ichi!! What's your name?"

“They are, better than I expected to be honest” Kayen said with a shrug, talks with Carro had gone FAR better than she had anticipated and in the end it probably was not strictly necessary to form a working relationship with Chime, but the position the Namekian played on Earth was important, and while he was not the worlds LEADER Kayen could not imagine him being without a certain degree of influence and if he did not possess it YET he one day COULD. “To an extent yes, but I’d rather not simply leave the opinions and interests of Earths Guardian out of the equation, I presume there is a decent chance that if they have or develop any sort of working relationship that Chimes opinions would influence Carro for better or worse when it comes to my own interests.”Kayen watched Darume laugh as he plucked the little creature up from the ground and explained what it was, earning a VERY surprised raise of the eyebrow from Kayen as he equated the little reptilian creatrue to Shenron, the planets ‘Eternal Dragon’ and even claimed it was a wish granting dragon itself. He then encouraged ‘Ichi’ to introduce himself prompting him to… explode though it appeared more a distraction than a death as the little creature was quickly back and scurrying up her leg waist and up onto her shoulder to introduce himself. Kayen stared at the brazen dragon for a moment before letting out a short laugh and grinning “I’m Kayen. Nice eyepatch.” it also served to remind Kayen that the little dragons eye had been.. Strange, its pattern similar to the eyepatch he wore now and something else… The Dragon Balls. From what she had seen before he had magiced himself an eyepatch the eye had actually looked quite a lot like one “Does little Ichi work differently than the other Dragons then? My understanding was they appeared only once all seven of the dragon balls were gathered, but there seems to only be one present here, and last I checked the Dragons vanished after the wishes were made” Kayen chose to be nice and not ALSO mention that the Dragons were also quite a bit more… grand.

PL: 12,000 Ichi's PL: 12,000 Well at least relations were good. But what Chime and the Queen might have business together with perplexed Daruma more than a little. He couldn't really reason why the Guardian of Earth, a borderline-clerical mage and practitioner of pacifism might have to talk about with a ruthless looking Saiyan warrior woman. Oh well, sometimes Chime got up to things Daruma didn't really know much about. Like, right now. He wasn't here so Daruma had to keep their POWERFUL guest entertained by his lonesome. At least she seemed nice enough, she was playing along with Ichi's odd behavior as if it wasn't as strange as it was. "Thanks! Yours is COOL. Are you evil?" Ichi asked as he kicked his legs outward as he dangled them off the ends of Kayen's shoulder and enjoyed himself a bit from the height and the proximity to power, poking his tongue out at Daruma as he glared for a moment at the dragon for asking if she was evil. Then Kayen asked a question, and Daruma got this look in his eyes that was like a nerd who wasn't sure if the person was actually asking them to talk about it, because the topic was very exciting to him. "Weeelll," He took a deep breath in. "You see well basically there were these old like, ooollld Dragon Balls hidden away in a room deep inside the Lookout from aaages ago, right? Someone who had been Kami, or maybe just a wizard or something, had tried to make their own Dragon Balls but very clearly stuffed up the process and totally overcooked them. They got burned real bad and just swelled up with Negative Energy, making them really evil and stuff. So they tucked them away down there. Makes sense, right? But,"Another pause for breath, as he realized he might have been going a little to fast when he realized he was running out of wind to speak with. "there was still some 'Dragon Energy' hidden away on the inside! Like, the magical version of a Golden Ticket or a Diamond in the Rough, or like uh... a good President Bao movie? Like- it's borderline some kind of miracle chance that it was still down there. So- I thought, maybe I can do something about these things. This ball is evil and nasty and dark, a waste of space that ruins anything it touches... maybe, just maybe, I can make something good out of it! So I changed some things based on writings from previous Kami's and what I'd seen Chime do when he made the current Balls, and... voilà! My very own, first of his kind, eternal dragon! And I could make more! Five more- well, six now that Myu coughed up the half-baked one I made for Chime, but- yeah!"Ichi clapped his little clawed hands and shot little colored sparkles in celebration at the end of the story, and Daruma smiled before he went silent for a moment and turned a little purple, realizing he'd just gone off on a quickfire tangent without giving his guest any chance to cut in and speak at all.

“I’m sure some people think I am” Kayen offered as a response to the little dragons question with a grin not entirely certain what it wanted to hear. Kayen did not bother putting much stock into the concept of strict ‘good’ and ‘evil’ one persons good was fairly often another person’s evil and vice versa. She was however fairly certain she DID fall into the classic description most people considered Evil, and at the very least she was a generally ‘bad person’ at least for those not immediately relevant enough to her to be worth being treated well. Kayen was surprised when her seemingly simple question on the nature of Ichi and his relation to the other Dragons resulted in a surprisingly long winded explanation from the blue Ogre, it also seemed that once he got going Daruma seemed to grow a bit more comfortable, clearly far more in his element and ‘in the zone’ as opposed to before where he seemed a bit unsure how to act around her. “Well, you seem to be quite the well of knowledge. It seems that your attempt to make something good out of those broken Dragon Ball worked out quite well if Ichi is any indication” Kayen said giving a slight nod in the direction of the little dragon perched on her shoulder. "Why would you wait on… hatching?” Kayen briefly paused as she tested out her decision on how to refer to what Daruma had effectively done “the rest of the Dragons? It would seem to me that you would be better off having them all out and about” If Ichi’s power was any indication the little Dragons clearly had quite a lot of potential.

PL: 12,000 Ichi's PL: 12,000 Daruma looked a little puzzled at the question, like he had never proposed the thought to himself before either. Why hadn't he brought more of the 'Shadow Dragons' to life? He'd definitely tried once already, but since Myu ate that ball and transformed into some kind of Dragon-Majin hybrid, just just... hadn't tried it. He had one he was going to give to... oh. That was it. "I uh... was going to give one to a close friend. But he died. I don't really know why that stopped me up until now, actually. I have this theory too, that I haven't tried. That maybe they need to like... attune to someone? The dragons, I mean. Like, I don't know. Ichi and I get along great, and I love the little devil but he came out much quicker than the next one I tried, which manifest into a Majin hybrid after some shenanigans, and... Hrmm. Actually, I want to try this now. But I'd need to work out who would need one..."

It seemed her question had stumped the Ogre as there was a long pause after she asked about why he had not awakened the other Dragons, Kayen had some vague assumptions before about it perhaps just being too much of a hassle to handle a full set of the wish granting reptilians, Ichi seemed pleasant enough but certainly had a… vibrant… personality, if they were all a bit like that it would be a bit like having a small squad of presumably less hungry Kabe’s. But apparently it had more to do with the loss of the next person who had been intended to receive a Dragon, Kayen simply gave a silent nod at the mention of Daruma’s lost friend, while he didn’t seem sure why that had stopped him it seemed easy enough for Kayen to piece together, grief could have easily weighed heavily on the Ogre and while he might not have intentionally wanted to stop making them because his friend had not gotten theirs it could certainly have had a subconscious effect. “If you’re interested in testing the theory you could give it a go with me, I’d assume the worst case would be that I’m not compatible with it if I’m not ‘right’ for any of the Dragons. And based off of what I’ve seen out of little Ichi I’d certainly be interested in having one at my side. You certainly wouldn't have to worry about any harm coming to it, and if it ends up with as much potential as Ichi has it could make for a good sparing partner for Kabe” Kayen said trailing off more into her own musings at the end

PL: 12,000 Ichi's PL: 12,000 Daruma pondered for a moment at Kayen's suggestion. He was hesitant for a number of reasons to give her something so personal and so potentially dangerous. Firstly, his experience and knowledge with the Saiyan Kingdom was not pretty- most were heartless brutes as far as he'd heard, but on the same page Daruma knew not to judge a book so immediately by it's cover. His second objection was that they were, in his head at least, intended for people close to him or the collective of pseudo-deities that frequented he Lookout and that he counted among his friends. An un-certified squad of gods. But, then, she did have some kind of relationship with Chime. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. "You know, what the heck. I've gotta try it again someday anyday and today's as good a day as any. You obviously have some form of relationship with Chime where you were at least confident enough to rock up unannounced, so it's not as if I'm palming one off to an enemy. You're not allied with the Stargoons or something, are you? Those guys are real jerks." Daruma scooped up Ichi and gestured for Kayen to follow him. "I'll set it up in the room the Negative Dragon Balls rest in. Negaballs? Shadow Balls? Because, you know, shadow dragons? Um, anyway. It's just down here."As he entered to the door and began to lead the way down the stairs and into the mess of connected hallways there was a short time to kill on the way there. "Oh by the way, you mentioned Kabe. Who's that? You got a kid, or something?"

Kayen blinked in surprise as her suggestion actually worked out with Daruma agreeing to have her be the one to bond with one of his strange set of darkened Dragon Balls, she had expected a bit more hesitation considering her past but there was a very good chance that the Ogre simply did not know she was a pir- As Daruma finished with a question on her affiliations with the Stargoons it more or less confirmed for her that he likely had no real knowledge on her other than that she was Queen… and even then it WAS possible he had not actually connected the dots with her proclaiming the Kingdom ‘hers’ she could certainly imagine that being a regular enough thing among members of the Kingdom that he could just assume her to be apart of the Kingdom. “The Goons are still presently affiliated with the Fleet I believe so no they are not my allies. For clarity I suppose it’s fair for me to make my affiliations clear, I am the Queen of the Saiyan Kingdom, that is my only affiliation” Kayen said with a grin as she followed Daruma to the ‘Negaballs’ she was not quite sure on the name but they were the Ogres creation so if HE liked the name who was she to judge? “It’s complicated. I’m certainly his current guardian, Vegetan adoption laws are pretty lax in that I’m not entirely sure they exist” Really in her experience it was only worlds like Earth that got picky when it came to taking on a child that did not strictly belong to you.
