Pankaa's PL: 10,000
It had been a short while since Pankaa's visit to see two of Nero's friends, Sulfur and Carro and since that visit he was still adjusting and getting used to not needing any sort of suit to keep him safe from the planets climate anymore. Care still kept the suit packed away for safe keeping but thanks to the work of that other kind hearted avali and the president it seemed he wouldn't ever need to wear it again, he could even now wear earthling clothes without feeling overheated too! That being said he still fussed about wearing certain clothing and even got a little huffy at how some outfits felt against his feathers and fluff. Today he was in something a little more special, some tiny overalls with a bear shaped bowtie since today was the first day he was going to get to go to a place Nero called 'daycare'. The avali wasn't sure what this daycare was or who might be there but he had been told it'd be good for him to meet more kids around his age and older since he had mostly interacted only with adults after having come to Earth, it'd be a good opportunity for him to make some smaller friends while Nero was out working and it also gave him more things to do during those times. After Care, Pankaa's nanny bot had managed to get the little one into his outfit for the day, he'd find himself being scooped up by Nero as Care formed itself into a backpack for the avali before the three would head out the door to start their day. Care having made sure to pack Pankaa's favourite bunny plushie toy and his heat resistant suit for just in case. It didn't take them very long to reach the daycare that the Saiyan had talked about, it was a reasonably sized building that was painted in bright, happy colours with all sorts of clouds, rainbows and sun patterns across the building, overall a rather welcoming sort of place with a cute little picket fence around it and a small yard filled with rubber and plastic toys. It also had a big sign out the front with what was probably the daycare's name, but the avali couldn't read the words that were on it. Past the picket fence and in through the doors the three went and Pankaa was let down to stand on his own upon entering the building. The front room already had a small handful of children who had already been dropped off by their own guardians as well as two adult supervisors watching over them. There were many toys and toy boxes, both for play and for learning around the room and more doors off down the other end of the room as well that lead to other rooms. Overall the place was already full of activity and kids full of energy and ready to play. Flattening his four ears back though, Pankaa seemed a bit overwhelmed and hugged onto one of Nero's legs while looking rather upset, shying away behind the Saiyan. " I wanna go with you to work instead..."

|| Nero’s PL: 17 ||
Pankaa had been making excellent progress as of late. Though he was of course initially nervous in meeting Carro and Sulfur, everything went well— and now the little guy was able to exist free of his special atmosphere suit. One less thing for Nero to worry about in relation to keeping Pankaa safe and happy! Now, Nero could spare some cash and get Pankaa some more ‘normal’ clothes. Sure, the youngster would fuss and grumble over certain things but that wasn’t a big deal. As far as Nero was aware, that was normal, it made sense that Pankaa would be this way though, he was practically all feathers!
Thankfully there were some outfits that were easier for him to wear; and having eventually noticed a trend in what Pankaa was most comfortable with, Nero ended up purchasing more fitting clothes. “Wowzers, don’t you look smart, eh champ?” Nero grinned, getting a good look at Pankaa once Care got the little guy all dressed and ready. “Sorry I didn’t find a bunny bowtie,” He nodded solemnly, backing over to the table in the living room, where a curious little package was placed. “So, I got you something else.” Nero said, bringing the package over, and lifting the lid off of the box to reveal a very special rabbit plushie based on Pankaa’s favorite character from his favorite cartoon; Hopping Heroes!
Nero looked quite proud of himself in fact, handing the plushie over to Pankaa should he not have already taken ahold of it and scooped up the little Avali as well in the process. “You look after them now, okay?” His attention then turned to their android nanny. “Care, you’ll keep an eye on both Pankaa and his new plushie, yeah? Make sure he doesn’t lose it please.” Nero added with a nod.
With everything done, the group was on their way! It didn’t take very long to reach the daycare— public transport was actually pretty efficient on this day. Stepping off of the hover-bus, Nero guided Pankaa towards the daycare building slowly, allowing the kid to take in his surroundings. Unsurprisingly, Pankaa was a little apprehensive. This was yet another new experience for him; but he had been incredibly brave... For a long, long time. He had been through things Nero could hardly begin to understand, and those events negatively impacted Pankaa’s expectations of many things.
Nero on the other hand was simply glad he could be a positive influence in any way. His Saiyan pride wouldn’t let him be anything less, not now, not ever. He knelt down, getting as close to Pankaa’s level as he could manage. “Pankaa, it’s okay to be scared. That’s when you can be brave, remember? Just like Baxter Bounce! Plus, it’s the first day here for some other kids too. They might also be scared.” Nero explained, ruffling the tuft of feathery fur on Pankaa’s head. “You’re the bravest lil guy I know. You can help them, right?” He smiled, gently adjusting Pankaa’s little bowtie and giving him a quick hug before standing up. “Okay, I have to go to work. Care will help you if you need anything, and they can call me— the supervisors here have my number as well. You be a good boy, Pankaa~! See you later~!”
With that, Nero slowly made his way out of the door when he was absolutely certain Pankaa was comfortable.
Hi yes hello, juuuust dropping in for the first post round to facilitate some things! Nero will return later should he be called in the event of an emergency!

PL: 4,500 Kabe stared idly up a picture of a saiba bean on the inner wall of the building that smelled like grass and beans. Why did it smell like grass and beans? Kabe sniffed at his armor, and groaned with realization that the bean-grass smell was him. With a curled nose, Kabe grumbled as he toddled away from the room and back into the fray. Barb and Skash had dumped him at some play called a 'Day-care', which they explain was some kind of prison or holding grounds for children while adults were busy. Well, that's what the spiky haired glutton had gleaned from their words anyway. With a frown that he had run out of the food they had let him bring with him, Kabe chewed at the corner of a wooden block with rounded corners and let his beady little saiyan eyes roam around the room. There was lots of different kinds of people here. Saiyans not so much, but there were humans and those 'nah-mech-key-ans' too, and lots of other alien looking children. With a disgruntled gnash the wooden block split in two, and Kabe swallowed the chunk that didn't fall to the ground whole, as something caught his attention. A familiar saiyan-looking man that Kabe couldn't put his stubby little finger on where he knew him from was dropping off yet another prisoner to the 'day care', but it wasn't a saiyan. It was small, and feathered, like a chicken, and very orange. Like a dog that had heard something interesting in the distance, Kabe perked up and walked over after the man had left the room and he'd tugged the splinters from his teeth. When he got in front of the strange person-creature-thing, Kabe blinked and stared for a moment. He tried to think - his mom, and Barb, had tried to teach him a bit about talking to new people. What was he supposed to do? With a sudden and probably shocking jolt of excitement exploding from his blank and curious expression, Kabe stuck his hand out toward the creature held in waiting expectantly. "Hi!! I Kabe." When he was complimented on his outfit he seemed to take in a big breath and hold it while making a pouty face for a moment or two, tapping on the buttons of his overalls. He wasn't angry or upset by any means and perked a little bit at being called 'champ' but he was a little pouty and still getting used to all these different outfits. Regardless the pout was completely gone by the time the plushie came out anyways and was quick to take a gentle hold of it with a big goofy smile on his little face. Care would return Nero's nod to assure him that they would be keeping an eye on Pankaa and the plush, wagging a finger at the Avali when he put one of the plushies ears into his mouth absentmindedly, the robot would promptly pull the toy out of the kids mouth to avoid more of it going in. --- As Nero knelt down to comfort Pankaa the avali would give the Saiyan a concerned look before closing his eyes and smiling lightly when his hair tuft was ruffled. " Yeah! I can do that!" He'd perk his ears back up again and bounced on the spot a few times before his bowtie was adjusted and Nero then gave him a hug, he seemed a little unsure still especially with how Nero had to quickly go but he understood the Saiyan had other places to be at certain times. " Bye Papa! Have f-..fun at workie!" The little avali would watch Nero wander out and disappear from view before turning back to the rest of the room he was in, tapping two of his small claws together anxiously as he waddled further into the room... Not at all long after doing this, he was approached by another kid which surprised him at first which caused his feathers to fluff up a little bit in response. The other kid seemed to be like Nero's species in appearance, which made Pankaa relax a little but he wasn't sure what to do at how the other boy stared. Fumbling with his own fingers for a moment the other boy seemed to suddenly spring into a wildly different attitude, which again caught the avali off guard but excitement was always a good and positive reaction from Pankaa's experience so maybe he'd just made a new friend! Which was nothing to be startled about! Flattening down his feathers again, the avali would look at Kabe's hand before reaching out to shake it with his own, " Ooh! Helo! I'm Pankaa!" At this point, Pankaa was pretty certain Kabe was for sure one of those 'sayins' Nero had mentioned he was at one point. " Does Kabe like play?" The block that the young Saiyan had gnawed and split certainly didn't go quite unnoticed by Pankaa's nanny bot, who was still acting as the Avali's backpack for the moment and keeping an eye on what was going on around the room, but kids would break toys from time to time so maybe this was just one of those times.

PL: 4,500 Kabe blinked as the little yellow-orange creature introduced itself as Pankaa, and presented him with an unfamiliar word. He'd heard it a few times in dismissing tones from Barb and Skash and his mom, but he wasn't sure what 'play' meant if he was entirely honest. "Puh-lay?" He mouthed the word with sluggish curiosity, looking awkwardly at his hand as he realized he was still clinging to the stranger's hand. Play, if he could remember right from those 'context-clues' that Skash and Barb kept hammering on about, it was what kids his age were expected to do. Was that what the kids around them were doing? They were running around, and clacking blocks together, and other fun and intensive activities, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves a lot. The only thing Kabe really knew that made him enjoy himself like that was fighting, hunting, hiding, or eating. Definitely, eating. He mumbled quietly to himself in unintelligible, broken tongue as he thumbed his lips and filtered over his thoughts. After a moment or two of intense concentration on working out if he understood what it meant, he sighed a little and accepted defeat, before smiling back at Pankaa. "How do you play?" He spread his arms wide, and then slammed one fist excitedly into the other. "Is play like fight!?"Kabe didn't know what he was supposed to do, but if it was as fun as fighting he was excited at the prospect! KP: 3/3 smol post for a smol boi Pankaa

When Kabe seemed a bit confused on what the word play meant Pankaa would perk his four ears up a little and paddle his feet on the spot as he hyped himself up on getting ready to explain what it meant, he never got to do that! Normally he was having things explained to him! "Yeah! You know! Like uh..." He hadn't anticipated though how hard it would be to explain such a thing, especially since he was still learning this planet's language. Since Kabe still had his hand Pankaa would end up shaking it some more as he started to bounce on the spot. "It's uhm... It's fun! And..."
Maybe he'd bitten off more then he could chew when it came to his first chance to explain something, what exactly was play? Aside from being fun? Kabe seemed just as lost as he was for a moment before asking again, asking if it was like fighting. When Kabe spread his arms wide Pankaa at first thought it was because he was going for a hug and he almost went for it, but the little Saiyan instead slammed one fist into the other which instead made the avali flinch lightly before the looking confused. "Uhm... Well I guess so! Sometimes... Like play fight!" Yeah! They were getting the hang of this explaining thing! "Yeah! Yeah! Play fight can be fun!" Maybe play fighting with someone closer to his size would be even funner? When trying with Nero he was hardly a match size-wise to even just one of the Saiyan's hands!
Pankaa's backpack would beep lightly, the top of it swiveling as Care moved their head around. "[Play fighting is similar to fighting, but softer! So no one actually gets harmed during the play]" The robot would explain followed by Pankaa looking back over his shoulder to see them, he'd almost forgotten Care had come with him since he'd been so occupied and focused on Kabe, thanks to Care's explanation though he better understood it now too, "Oh, thank you Caren!" "[You two could always play hide and seek too, or with the building blocks in the toy boxes here, or maybe go outside and see if they have a sand pit?]" Pankaa let off a few happy chirps, "Oh! We could make sand castle if they do!" He'd look to the little Saiyan, "What would Kabe like to do?"

PL: 4,500 Kabe listened intently to the description of 'play', as denoted by a curious head that swiveled into existence with a blip from behind the fluffy little yellow child. Kabe did not find it at all worrying that his first thought upon witnessing this was how the small robotic backpack might taste, or how hard it would be to chew through. With a twinkle in his eye, he got excited at the prospect of playing and having fun with his new friend Pankaa, even if it was not fighting. "Sand castle?" Kabe murmured after Pankaa chirped up with an idea, thinking about the palace back home on Vegeta and how big and impressive it was compared to the other buildings around it. It stood as a symbol that his mama was the strongest person in the universe. Was a sand castle the same? "What's that?" KP: 3/3 sorry for extra small post wanted to not let the thread stagnate Pankaa

" Yeah! Sand castle!" The avali would throw his tiny hands up into the air with enthusiasm to show his excitement about the subject, blissfully oblivious to any thoughts Kabe had on trying to eat his little caretaker robot friend. " It's like... It's like um..." Pankaa held a claw to his chin in thought for a moment as he tried to think of how to explain it, " You get funny buckets and fill with sand! then tip and make the sand into castle!" He laughed lightly before following up with; " Then you can be big monster and go stomp stomp stomp! And crush the castles!" He'd explain while stomping his not intimidating whatsoever tiny legs. " Sand pits are usually outside cause messy! Wanna check for one out there with me?" Thankfully the avali was getting a little bit better with talking Earth's odd language and managing sentences a little better, hopefully that made talking to Kabe a lot easier for the both of them! Either way he was happy to have made a friend already, Nero was going to be so proud!

PL: 4,500 Kabe listened with a puzzled expression as Pankaa explained the concept. So, it wasn't the same thing. But it was like, a small, pretend version of a castle. Like a training-dummy but for a castle, and made of sand. A training-castle, that you could... smash? Kabe was excited- he had always wanted to smash stuff in the castle, but Barb had always scolded him for doing so! He flashed a toothy grin at his friends. "Yes! Yes!" Kabe stamped around dramatically, flexing his muscles and mewling like a grizzly old cat in a desperate attempt at a roar. "Let's find! SAND CASTLE!!!" Before Pankaa could blink, Kabe dashed in a frenzy outside. The little back garden of the daycare was not grand or pristine, and great slaps of painted hand prints and signs of rough play and wear covered the old sturdy wooden playground, children of all races playing some absent-minded games as they enjoyed the small rays of sun that creeped in past the large neighboring buildings of the city block. There, in the back most corner near a great wire fence, was a wooden square trenched into the grass filled to level with- SAND! Kabe soared through the air, a trail of white with flecks of red filling the space of air that he quickly made absent, crashing into the sand with a great dirty KERTHWUNK. Sand kicked up and a great explosion, before raining back down into the sand pit, all the while Kabe sat chuckling happily as sand sprinkled over his obnoxious little head. KP: 3/3 Pankaa

Kabe was a lot more rowdy about his excitement for sand castles then Pankaa was but the avali honestly found it made him more excited for them too! The small space raptor would clap his little hands together and laugh as Kabe gave his attempt to roar, it might've been more of a mew in reality but it was impressive enough to the orange avian. He certainly couldn't roar either! His were more like toy squeaks so a mew was vastly more impressive.
"Woah!" Kabe was gone so fast that Pankaa almost missed what direction the other boy even went. Thankfully he caught a glimpse of the Saiyan dashing to reach the outside sandpit though only barley. "Aaa! Wait for me!" Pankaa let out a squeak of surprise and scrambled to follow after his new friend, watching as he launched himself into the air before crashing into the sandpit which sent sand up into the air!
Pankaa hurried over to the Saiyan but stayed just far enough away to not have sand shower down on him too, he expected Kabe to maybe be injured or hurt in some way from the crash but instead the boy was laughing as the sand showered down back on his head and into the pit again. His concerned expression was replaced with a light look of confusion for a moment but if Kabe was okay then that's what really mattered, right? "Wow! How'd you do that?" the avali would fluff his feathers out a bit seemingly impressed by the stunt as he went to scoop up a red plastic sand bucket and toy shovel before carefully stepping into the pit as well.
"Can all Saiyan do tha? I wish I was Saiyan!" He laughed and paddled his claws against the sand for a moment to get used to the feeling before starting to fill his dorky little bucket with the sand Kabe had just launched into the air moments ago. "We can make BIG castle! They're funner to stomp!" Carefully but quickly tipping the bucket upside down and pressing it against the rest of the settled sand, he waited a moment before lifting the bucket and smiling broadly as he pointed at the funny-looking pile of sand it left behind "That's how you do castle! Water can make the sand chunky and stay together better too!" Though he honestly didn't know how that'd help here since they didn't have water!

PL: 12,000 Kabe wasn't quite sure how to answer the small feathered one's question as he watched him step into the sandpit, bucket in hand. "Um. Kabe not sure. Always could do" He mouthed out, before laughing a little at the second question the avali asked. "Hehehe, silly Pankaa. Kabe saiyan, Pankaa... birdie?" He tilted his head for a moment, and then stayed tilted in curiosity as the little birdling began to fill the bucket to level with sand. With a quick flip and a few moments of rest, Kabe was left totally bewildered. "Wooaah..!" Kabe eeked in surprise, eyeing the barely castle-like mound of sand revealed by the bucket. "Cool, cool! Castle! Pankaa make castle!" He clapped, happily before moving close to the castle and examining it within inches with furrowed brow. "Castle need queen and prince. Hmmm." Cricking his neck he stood proudly and issues a proclamation with his hands on his hips. "Kabe queen, like mama!!!" He then pointed a finger to Pankaa. "Pankaa prince, too!" "Oh" Pankaa would put a claw to his chin in thought for a moment, how odd! He could always do it? So it had to be something he was born with but Pankaa had been able to when on his home planet too but for some reason lost the ability when left on this planet. "I could do tha um... At the place I was born! Or someting similar anyway" He raised one arm to look at his wings that were still there despite how useless they seemed now to him. "But it disappear when I was brought here" He seemed mildly upset about this but what was the use in being upset over something he didn't know how to fix? He did miss flying though and that probably wouldn't change, he'd always wonder why other people on the planet could fly but not him.
When Kabe laughed though the space raptor was brought back out of his thoughts and managed a smile, "Pankaa abali?" He paused for a moment to look down at himself before nodding, yep, still an avali! "Yeh! But wish I was Saiyan" He had been mostly around Saiyans since arriving to Earth afterall and they continued to amaze him in multiple ways! "Then I could do what Kabe did!"
The avali seemed excited at his friend's response to the sand castle making and clapped his hands again with a smile as Kabe examined the sand. "Oh! Yes!" How could he forget the part about the Queen and Prince? Thankfully Kabe reminded him as he claimed the Queen role for himself which Pankaa didn't mind at all he was flattered to be the Prince! "Wow!" It took him a moment or two before he blinked and tilted his head for a moment, "Wait, mama? Mama is queen?" He frowned in thought for a moment, but continued to work on making more bucket-made sand castles "That would make Kabe real Prince!" At least he thought that was how it worked, "Who is mama? Is she like Kabe? I have papa! He's kinda like Kabe!"

PL: 12,000 "Abali?" Kabe mumbled to himself, mouthing the word in an attempt to learn it. That must have been the type of bird or alien or monster or other thing that Pankaa was. Just like how saiyan was the type of thing Kabe and his mom were. Now that Kabe was officially the QUEEN of the sand castle, Kabe was gleaming and happy. So happy, that he barely noticed when Pankaa noted that Kabe was a real-life prince. Indeed he was! But before he could gloat, a much more important question was asked. "Mama? Um. Mama is Mama Kayen! Mama is Queen of Saiyans, biggest, strongest! Mama fight all the big smell Artichosias, and Namek-ians! Mama fight best!" Kabe mimed out the act of punching against whatever invisible enemy penetrated his bubble of comfort, a terrible attempt at mimicking the powerful and skilled blows his mother could deal out in a fight. He truly honestly thought she was the strongest in the universe, and nobody could ever change that. Kabe then turned his head a little, as put some sand in the bucket to try to make his own castle. "Pankaa say, Papa 'kinda' like Kabe. Who papa? What papa like?" The little runt asked, as he pat the sand in nice and tight before flipping the bucket around. Lifting it up, his face soured in defeat as after a second the castle he made by himself crumbled away into chunks of sand. He was defeated! Defeated, by a bucket! "Grrr." Kabe growled, knocking the bucket to the side and pouting. "Kabe other castle no work." KP: 3/3 - Pankaa

"Yeah!" He made a mental note to ask Nero to teach him more on how to say the letter 'V' a bit more, since he knew he was still saying it wrong but couldn't quite manage the sound yet, "Well... The b is different letter... But Pankaa still struggle to say that one!" He was getting better though but that V was a tricky one!
It was nice seeing his friend be happy to be the queen of their game and Pankaa much preferred seeing his friend happy then to have the title himself. What came after though caught the little one completely off guard, he listened as Kabe explained who his mother was and her title as well, all the while the avali stared at the Saiyan with an expression on his face that made it pretty clear his little mind was racing and working it's gears to put two and two together and when it finally did he dropped the bucket he'd just filled up with sand and smacked his hands against his cheeks, smooshing them in for a moment before letting them go and waving his arms up and down "I've met her! I met Kayen!" This was exciting! But insane at the same time! What was he to do!?
The avali would plop himself down to sit on the sand and stared down at it for a moment before looking back to Kabe, maybe it wasn't the best idea to spill everything to the other boy, but he was so excited! He didn't think Kabe would've been told either like he hadn't. "Kabe, Papa is Nero, Nero is Kayen brother" He was still getting used to all the relationship names this planet also had, what did that make him and Kabe? What did that make Nero to Kabe? He wasn't sure. "Papa is kind! He saved me from mean abali, but he's sad at your mama..." The avali pressed his index fingers together and glanced aside. "I like her though! Papa is also Saiyan!" He wasn't sure what an 'Artichosias' was either but he was sure Kayen fought them for a good reason, maybe he could ask Nero what they were later on?
He'd watch as Kabe pat down the sand and flipped the bucket in attempts to make his own part of the castle after Pankaa had demonstrated how to do it, but the Saiyan's one crumbled away sadly. "Kabe can do it! Try again! I believe in you!" He'd pick up the bucket and offer it back to Kabe with a smile, hoping their parents quarrels didn't mean the two could no longer be friends anymore. "Maybe we could get some water from Care? Water help sand stay chunky and strong! Strong like Kabe mum!"

PL: 12,000 Kabe's eyes shone bright! Pankaa had met his mom! That's awesome- and the fact that her papa was Nero, who was Kayen's brother, was also exciting! What did that make Pankaa? Kabe wasn't sure! After his little moment of frustration at the sand bucket, Kabe dug his elbows into his knees and frowned hard. After a few moments of his grumpy little eyes squeezed tight, he felt the padding touch of the plastic bucket against his arm and heard the avali's encouraging words. "Okay..." Kabe said, taking the bucket and slowly beginning to fill it with sand once more. As he pat the sand down before shoving some more in, Kabe looked back up to his little bird friend. "Pankaa say, um, Nero sad at mama. Why that? Saiyan are friend, mama saiyan queen. Not sumposed to mad at mama." He sounded a little confused, and a little bit sad at the prospect of people not getting along with his mother. She was the coolest! She deserved all the love and praise. Maybe Nero had done something wrong? At least Pankaa liked her, and that was good news indeed. KP: 3/3 tiny post because i didn't have much else to add Pankaa
