The contract hadn't been all that difficult. It was just a bit of debt collection from someone who owed the client a hefty sum. Nothing that Scallio hadn't handled a hundred times before. It was typically the type of job that only required one person. Mr.Graham had requested, however, that Scallio bring at least two others along.
Scallio opted to bring Date and Zhalla in on the action. He hadn't worked with Zhalla and this had been a good chance too. As for Date, well, Scallio owed him one for suddenly leaving without notice. This wouldn't fully make up for leaving him hanging for so long. But it was at least a good place to start though.
"I want to send a message." Mr.Graham said, "Have to make sure he and everyone else understands that I mean business." which is probably why he'd sought out Saiyan mercenaries. "Break a few fingers or a leg if you have to. Just make sure you come back here with my money." he'd said with a grin. The twisted bastard actually wanted them to rough up the target.
Unfortunately for Mr.Graham, they hadn't needed to use violence. Just a little bit of threatening and intimidation. All of which had taken place AFTER the guy had nearly pissed himself at the sight of three Saiyans. Scallio almost felt bad for him, just almost though. It was still a job. Besides, He'd made the mistake of borrowing money from someone with Mr.Graham's...unpleasant disposition.
With the debt now collected the trio were on there way back to Mr.Graham's mansion. The mansion, located in a tucked-away corner of the Sleepy East, was spread out across several acres of land. It looked to be both well-designed and well-built. If Scallio cared for such things he might have even found it breathtaking. But to him and many others, it was just a sign of Mr.Graham's wealth.
As Scallio's motorcycle, a recent purchase, drove along the cobblestone road leading to the mansion. The first thing he noticed was the four luxury cars parked out front. Those hadn't been there on his last visit.
Mr.Graham had other visitors this evening.
Scallio parked and turned to speak with his fellow mercenaries. "It looks like we might be here a minute." Scallio said, almost apologetically, "I was hoping this be over quickly." he let out a sigh. "At least you can see I wasn't kidding about how stacked this guy was." he motioned towards the surrounding mansion. "Pretty he could afford to hire a whole army if he wanted." he paused, "Shit, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually had one." especially given the vibe Scallio had gotten from him.
He leaned against his bike and looked towards the mansion doors, "Before we head in I have to warn you. The client is a bit....eccentric and not in the most endearing of ways." He doubted that be an issue for the two. They were both professionals and had surely dealt with their fair share of 'unique' clients. Scallio waited to move until Date and Zhalla were ready. He also wanted to make sure neither of them had any questions. If they did, now would probably be the best time to ask.

Well, it'd certainly been a cold dreary... How long had it actually been? Date forgot how long it had been! Granted, he and Lisha weren't slow in his mission to take the old family business out from their corrupted family's clutches. The thing was, even though Lisha had been around Date so much, they didn't think they shouldn't be wary of Lisha and had let her carry on handle the paperwork and dealings with their clients! They even let Date come back to work in the kitchen, as a means of giving him one more chance. The duo had managed to up heave what the family had been working on in the shadows, exposing it to the public and getting them arrested. This managed to put the status of the business into a sort of limbo, due to how the business was to be passed down.
Lisha, being the more intuitive of the two when it came to documentation, chose to stay back at the business to handle that confusing amount of work. While their family was in jail, they had to figure out who was in charge, and despite having been one of the two that did this, Lisha had been on their good side long enough that she'd been included among the list of those who'd take over the Harborage, should something happen. Thus, she was going to take it out of the hands of the other family not in jail cells and make it so that the Hunter's Harborage would be under both she and Date, on top of have partial ownership given to Scallio in the documentation. Date, meanwhile, would be going to meet up with Scallio at the meeting spot. Apparently, he had some work that needed taking care of. Having had been dealing with all of this, Date was more than willing to oblige with this.
Essentially, the job was easy to work. Scare someone to complying, nothing more. Date dropped a load on the guy, mentioning that he just took down his own father and took over the Wolfbane's Family business (even if it wasn't fully under his name), so that got them going! Scallio and Zhalla, their newest addition to the Apes, gave him the extra bit of, 'reason,' to pay up Graham, Scallio's Client. They collected the money and had gotten to Graham's Mansion out in part of the plains of the Sleepy East. There was a whole lot of green all around them, with generators and other machinations that blended into the Mansion's architecture that made it feel like it should be where they were placed! A machine sucking in water molecules that was then boiled in a tank to kill any natural airborne pathogens so it'd be safely drinkable, one using the energy produced from the water boiler to power the entire complex, a garage full of plenty of vehicles that Date was eager to slip inside to see what Graham had, and many other machines! Several of the windows appeared to have glass panes, some detailing a visual story like those cathedrals you saw more towards the Southwestern part of the main continent!
Date pulled up next to Scallio, seeing the other luxurious vehicles out front. Mainly limousines, although one had been an extremely well cared for muscle car with a candy black paint job and a drop down roof. Date whistled, leaning forward on his bike as he drank the image in, "Man, now that's a car I'd want for my own garage!"
That was to say, he wasn't unaware of how to handle these guys. In fact, one of the limousines bore a family crest on its backside that Date could swear he saw somewhere. When Scallio finished his statement about Mr. Graham, Date replied, "I don't give too much of a damn about a person's life style, unless it's involving kids, Scal. We've already been over that part. The only other things I give a damn about is if they try to mess with me, trying to get me to bring them slaves, and if they try to mess with my friends. Outside of that, I don't care if they're cannibals or are running escort services. If the money's good, it's doable services from me, and since we're working together nowadays, that means you guys too. Got it?"
He wanted it cleared up. Basically, it served as a warning that if he saw something he didn't like, he'd do something about it.

Zhalla's PL: 25,000
It had been a short while since Zhalla had first met Scallio and Date, which had been quite the first meeting at that but ultimately it had ended in her joining their team as well and much to her amusement given the name, she was now officially a Crimson Ape. The Saiyan let the kids in her care know that she had extra work on the way since having joined and today would make sure a handful of the older kids were able to stay home and keep watch over the younger kids since all three of the Apes had been requested to show for their current client. It'd be interesting for her to see what the other two Saiyans were like in action for the first time, especially since the last time she'd seen them Scallio had almost been hit by a car. The contract was simple enough and the trio handled it with ease, not even needing to resort to violence to get what they needed for the client. With the collected debt in hand they'd soon be heading back to the mansion and while she was glad the job was easy, Zhalla felt it was almost too easy. Her thoughts were brought away from that though when they arrived at the mansion on their bikes, Scallio sure wasn't kidding this guy was stacked if his property was anything to go by. " Makes you wonder how one person can manage to get so much dough though" The things she'd be able to provide the kids back home with if she had this much cash on hand... As they pulled up and parked their bikes, Zhalla would pull her helmet off and shook her head to let her hair bounce back to the way it usually rested. " Not your fault he didn't let you know he was having visitors, Scallio" Another thing she found rather odd honestly, maybe the client just didn't mind having the mercenaries he hired around whoever his visitors are? Possibly as some kind of power statement no doubt. Setting her helmet down atop her bike she'd look back to Scallio when he explained that the client was not the most endearing person, " Most clients are like that, or at least similar, I think we can handle him" She was thankful for the warning though, at least then she knew what to really expect when they went past those doors. Zhalla would cross her arms over her chest and listened to what Date had to say in response to Scallio's statement about their client, she agreed with most of what he had to say on the matter but not all of it. The Saiyan would sneer lightly and flicked her tail behind her at the end part. " We're working together sure, but can still share different views, I agree with most of yours, but don't you dare rope me into being okay with working for anyone who's involved with running escort services, I will not be working with anyone of the sort nor accepting any of their filthy cash" Despite how much she disagreed with Date on the matter, she didn't want this to turn into some sort of fight especially since they weren't even inside the mansion yet so she did her best to keep how she felt on the matter down for the most part. " We won't always agree on everything and not all of our clients will want all three of us at the one time either, you're welcome to work for those kinds of people, but avoid roping me in with you on that in the future" She'd huff as she gave the other Saiyan a firm look. She was fine to work with the two, but she wasn't about to change her morals for them just like that either. " Anyway, we shouldn't keep the client waiting, we should head inside" If the other two were ready to go in, she'd for sure follow.

PL: 50,000It was good to hear that neither seemed too bothered by the added guests or Graham's troublesome personality. "It's nice to be working with professionals for once." his crew, while capable of getting the job done, didn't always conduct themselves in the best manner. So Date and Zhalla's behavior was a rather refreshing change of pace. That wasn't to say that the two didn't have their issues. Which soon became apparent in the slightly conflicting views between them. The air amongst the trio filled with what Scallio perceived to be tension. Zhalla's huff and firm look in Date's direction came with stern words. That made her stance on the type of people she was willing to work for clear. "Maybe I spoke too soon." Scallio muttered with a sigh and a shake of his head. The mercenary leader stepped forward and attempted to disarm any possible tension. "Take a deep breath and relax guys." he instructed, glancing in both Date and Zhalla's direction. "Date, we've been working together for a while now. You know that I wouldn't knowingly involve you in anything you'd be against." Scallio at least thought Date was aware of that much about him. He looked at Zhalla, making eye contact as he began to speak. "The same goes for you as well Zhalla. I'm not too keen on making my crew do things they'd be against. That's a quick way to start losing members." Scallio's words were spoken with a genuineness that he hoped was apparent. "Let's put this conversation on hold for now though." Scallio began to advance towards the mansion doors. "Like you said, we shouldn't keep the client waiting." he approached the massive oak doors with a sigh. The hinges of the doors creaked loudly as Scallio pushed them open. Revealing a gorgeously decorated and designed entranceway. The marble floor of the outside entrance was replaced with polished hardwood. A large brass chandelier hung from the ceiling and illuminated the entrance. Directly in front of the trio was a marble archway and hallway that led further into the mansion's first floor. Located on top of two pillars that stood on both sides of the archway were golden statues. Both were of the same barely clothed woman holding up a candelabra with five candles inside. Rather than having flames at their tips, however, they had light bulbs. On either of the entryway stood a staircase adorned with gold-trimmed red carpet. Each extended to opposite sides of the second-floor balcony. Which had several arches with drapes that mirrored the carpet. The level of care involved in setting up this entryway was quite easy to see. Scallio groaned as he stepped inside, "This is all so pointless." maybe it was just because of his upbringing. He just didn't see how people could care about stuff like this. It wasn't like having a lavish house would really do anything for you. Other than make you more likely to get robbed. "Strange that there isn't anyone here to greet us." Scallio said as he looked around the room. Last time he'd been here the place had been crawling with staff. Scallio suspected their absent may have something to do with all the cars outside. "I don't really want to go snooping around this guy's house. We may not have any other choice." Scallio sighed and pinched at the bridge of his nose. "What do you guys think?" he inquired, looking towards the others as he did. Neither Date or Zhalla got much time to answer, however. As someone from the mansion's staff walked into the room from a hallway off the side. He was a middle-aged man with slicked-back black hair, glasses, and goatee. He was dressed in a finely tailored suit with a black tie. "Oh, more guests." he said surprised, as he glanced the trio of Saiyans over. "I'd assumed the last had arrived thirty minutes ago." he looked back and down the hallway behind him. "The first fight has just finished I'm afraid. The second is due to start shortly, however, so you'll have time to place your bets if you hurry." he motioned behind him as he finished speaking. Scallio glanced at his fellow Saiyans with slight confusion before turning to give the man the same look. "Fight?" he questioned, "You have us confused with someone else. We're not here because of any fights." Scallio reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a sack filled with Zeni. "We're the mercenaries that Graham hired to collect a debt. We've just come to drop off the money and collect our payment." Scallio watched the man's eyes widen in the realization that he'd made a mistake. "Oh yes! Right, I'm terribly sorry for the confusion." the man bowed his head, "If you'll wait right here I'll go and inform Master Graham of your arrival. It'll be just a second." he turned around and quickly hurried down the hallway. Scallio looked towards his companions once the man had left his line of sight. "Are you guys just as curious about those fights as I am?" surely they both would be. They were all Saiyans after all. Hearing the word fight and not wanting details had to be difficult. OOC★ dandy ♫

"My personal experience," Date replied to Zhalla, regarding her comment about what Date worked with, "They were willingly there. It does bother me, don't get me wrong. However, having spoken to these people on how they got their jobs, they weren't there forcefully. If that bothers to you to that point of not wanting to work with them, I'll make it so that you won't be roped in and be troubled. I don't want to force anyone I work with into that position."
Zhalla's judging gaze wasn't dismissed from Date. Hereturned it with seriousness, saying with calmed firmness, "That's the truth!"
Scallio felt they weren't being unprofessional already, so quick to his judgement. Date walked up behind Scallio, as he opened the mansion doors, and patted his shoulder. He told him, "Scal, you're right on we've worked together plenty already. You ought to know I'm not inept with working with people, even the other crew members. We're alright..."
He looked back to Zhalla with the brief pause, to confirm with her.
"Right?"
As they entered the lavish home, Scallio was put off by the lack of individuals present in the area. Date's senses, though, told him they were around. Elsewhere in the Mansion, expressing some aggressive energy towards something. Date couldn't quite make it out, his focus not being much on Scallio's worry.
"Well, they're in the building, so all we need to do i-"
A gentleman came down the hall, wearing a suit akin to that of a servant's. They noticed the trio and approached them, an inquiry spawned involving a fight. Date's intrigue was raised, while Scallio corrected the butler of their purpose there. With urgency, they went to fetch Mister Graham from within the mansion's bowels. Scallio, Zhalla, and Date were left there, but the butler had raised the interest within them about the fights! Date was certainly interested, but he was in the midst of working still with them. His obligation had him state, "We should wait here and finish the job. If you want to check it out after we're done, then by all means, we can check it out then! Lisha's not gonna be done with the paperwork on the Hunter's Harborage until later tonight, I figure, so we ought to have some time! Zhalla, what about you?"

When told to take a breath and relax the saiyan would grit her teeth behind her lips for a moment but not because being told to do so annoyed her, more because she had hoped she wasn't coming off too aggressive. She wanted her point to get across but to not cause any problems amoungst their group of course. "Sorry Boss, I don't wanna cause trouble or anything, just want to make myself clear" He then clarified that he wouldn't want to make his team do anything they'd be against as well which made her shoot him a smile along with a nod.
As Date spoke up on the matter for his side of things, Zhalla would politely listen but in the end still shook her head. "I've had one too many cases where they've said such, said they were willingly there but it ended up being far from the truth, I'm glad that's not the case for you though, but I'd prefer to stay away from that kind of thing myself" She eventually lowered her firmness in both her gaze and tone, "Thank you, I trust you on that" They'd both gotten their own side of it across and he'd said she wouldn't be roped into it while she wouldn't bother him if he got involved with it himself so in her eyes they were back on the same page. So when Date looked back to confirm with her, she'd shoot him a thumbs up back, "Right, I'm happy to work with you, just not on that is all!"
They still had a client to deal with though and Scallio brought this back to their attention as he made his way to the doors, to which Zhalla would follow along after the boys. The inside of the mansion was arguably even more expensive in appearance then the outside with its marble archways and golden statues. Scallio's groaned reaction to seeing all the riches inside was something Zhalla herself felt strongly on the inside at this point. It was all too much to her personally, but it wasn't her money to spend either.
The mohawked Saiyan brought up a good point shortly after as well, no one had come to escort them let alone greet them, it wasn't like this guy couldn't afford to pay someone to do that either. "It is rather strange..." Not long after though someone eventually did show. What he said was rather confusing though. Fight? What fight? He seemed to assume the three were also guests as well, had their client not informed his own staff of them? She'd also look to her teammates with confusion, rather relieved to see she wasn't the only one confused by this. Thankfully Scallio was quick to inform the man of what they were really here for.
Learning this the man was quick to scurry off in search of their client but what he had said still left the three with questions. Nodding to Scallio's question the saiyan would place a hand to her chin in thought. "As curious as I am confused, what sort of fights could they be holding in a fancy place like this?" And betting on them too it was rather puzzling, probably something their client got entertainment from though if she had to guess. "I agree though we should wait here until the job is fully done and out of the way" She'd nod to Date, "Then we can check it out after? I mean there's no harm in us having a look, right?"
