The hum of jets was a distant, unnoticeable whistle at first. Soon, though, the roar of machinery would roll across the northern lands of Namek like thunder. A blaze of orange descended from the stars like a meteor before pulling itself forwards to soar above the blue land below. The emerald waters rippled and caved as the massive machine passed and began to slow it's lightning speeds. "Alright, alright, landing gear is all in order..." LEO heard her pilot's voice echo inside her control room. Carro pulled at the controls inside, using the growing drag around LEO's body to slow her down as her body and aura still boomed with jets and clanging machinery.
"-Oh hey look a camp-" Carro idly commented as LEO dipped closer to the ground. Not too far away he spotted what looked like a small settlement, but he couldn't get a good look at it for long before returning to the duty of landing LEO. Whoever was at that place, though, would have likely been stirred by the screech of metal and howl of ki around the drifting surge of orange aura before it sped away...
LEO lowered her claws, letting her nails skim across the grass. Her thrusters began to push against her forwards pace, slowing the feline enough to land. "Hello, Planet Namek." The feline idly commented. "I hope you don't bring the luck we had on our last outing..." Carro groaned. "Oof, tell me about it." When they'd headed on their last off-planet business trip, Earth was swiftly attacked. This time he left his coworkers behind to man the fort, though.
Carro stepped out of a hatch on LEO's side, allowing his partner to stretch after. The President of Earth wore a light, green jacket and baggy jeans, finished off by his old Serpent Master EX tee beneath his coat. He'd brought more formal clothes for his hopeful meeting with Namek's people, but right now he had to set up shop. He didn't want to get his tie dirty, after all.
"Alright, you remember the plan, right?" Carro chimed to his partner. "Mm-hmm. I can look for the nearest settlement now." They'd divide their initial goals- LEO was much more capable to flying about and finding some Namekians to greet. "Yeeeah, the place we passed didn't look like a permanent residence." Maybe it was an old Saiyan Kingdom camp? They were on Namek that one time, right? "And you can count on me to give us a roof over our heads!" Carro proclaimed. Still sitting on a nearby rock, he'd pull out a few capsules from his belt to hold up to his friend.
LEO nodded. "Don't forget about your stowaway." From another flap on her side popped out a furred, feline face. Promptly punted out of hiding was Carro's actual cat, Cola, causing the saiyan to sigh as the black cat purred. Cola knew what he did. "Well, bon voyage. Try not to die while I'm not looking." With that, LEO took off to the clouds again...
With his friend gone, Carro was quick to get to work. Tossing a capsule beside the lake they'd landed near, he took a step back with his cat in hand as a small capsule house appeared from the smoke. The next capsule, containing a picnic table he'd brought with, was a bit more tricky. Why did Baokea products always come in a million pieces? If he could build a rocket, he could build a table.
While the saiyan was trying to piece together his temporary residence, Cola had moved to lie down on a rock to sunbathe. His content purring was interrupted, though... He could have sworn he saw someone else in the grassy plains.
LEO briefly appears with her x9P LIFELINK and UT1 active! Her PL can be sensed, but she flies away and out of range after a moment. Cola is both a literal cat and an NPC, thus he has low/ambient PL levels.

“Beep! Beep! BEEP!” Medi beeped its warning frantically as its tiny arms shook a slowly awakening Korla “Wha? Whats going on Medi” Korla was groggy but from the concern in the machine’s ‘voice’ she was already beginning to kick into gear her blaster forming in her hand as she slipped from her pod into a crouched position near it. “Beep! Beep beep” “High power signature? Unknown ship?” Korla tapped her scouter and caust the trail end of a massive power signature moving further and further away, feeling safe enough she moved from her cover and saw the ship Medi had also mentioned, parked not far from their makeshift camp. Her scouter picked up a signature near where it had landed and as Korla began her approach she was eventually able to spot the person it belonged to, a short orange haired man… Korla paused from where she was watching him and blinked a few times as she tapped her scouter and had it zoom in for her to give her a better view of the man. “It.. cant be” Korla muttered as she studied him for a few moments trying to figure out if what she believed she was saying was real. The man bore an amazingly striking resemblance to a Tuffle, she might have assumed that he was perhaps just an Earthling were it not for his stature. Tuffles were not particularly tall compared to other galactic species and he was right in the average range for a Tuffle man. But HOW could he be a Tuffle, a TRUE Tuffle, an android like Iyokan, nor whatever Korla was herself, but a proper genuine Tuffle. Logic dictated that she stay back and keep watching, but the possibility was too much to ignore, she had found Iyokan and Duran here on Namek, perhaps they would find another lost soul from Plant. And so Korla departed the safety of the rocks she had been using to disguise her presence and began a slow approach already unsure exactly how to actually intiate conversation with the man, should she start by asking if he was a Tuffle? What would she do if he wasn't? "Hello?"

Carro dusted his jacket off, putting his hands on his hips to look at his current handiwork. The capsule home looked warm and cozy so far! What wasn't warm was a chilly gust of wind bellowing past. He was glad he'd wrapped his tail around his waist beneath his jacket. The darn thing always got cold so easily. Though, little did the President know that little move would be his saving grace for a short period of time.
Cola's ears were the first to perk. He saw the strange woman far before Carro, and his animalistic senses were quick to hear her approach. His head popped out from the grass as Korla called out with a drawn-out meow to get Carro's attention. The saiyan jolted at first in surprise, but was quick to dust himself off after the initial shock that someone else was out here. "H-hello!" He greeted back at the half-hidden... person. He wasn't sure what she was. Carro raised a hand to block out the light of Namek's three suns to try and get a better look at his guest while Cola climbed atop his shoulders. Maybe a Majin or Demon of sorts...? She seemed nice enough either way.
"I, uh... I come in peace!" Carro called, quick to pick up on the cautious approach. He only had his toolbox, and a whack with a standard wrench was nothing to most fighters- unless she was as weak as him, he couldn't hurt anyone even if he tried. "...I-I didn't land on your lawn or something, did I?" The pipsqueak's tone turned meek as he realized he might have already done something wrong. He wasn't entirely sure how Namekian civilization worked- hence LEO's job to sniff it out. Cola didn't seem to care- the black cat was already dozing off around the President's shoulders. "Caaaan I help y-you with anything else?" Out of his element on this new world, Carro couldn't help but to be a bit nervous. Still, he put his best foot forward, speaking with genuine willingness and concern, albeit some confusion.

Korla felt less nervous about this encounter as she approached and got a better look at the man, the closer she got the more she felt confident he HAD to be a Tuffle, the exacts on HOW he existed were still something she was unsure of. The sheer amount of time since the Saiyans won the war made most means of preserving their people difficult, Duran and Iyokan of course survived by virtue of their mechanical nature, but where she had undergone a process that had rapidly altered her genetic structure this man appeared simply very similar to a true Tuffle. Perhaps some amount of their people had survived? Awoken earlier and escaped? The chances of that were absurdly slim but perhaps not impossible, Korla had little genuine information on the full extent of their destruction aside from the fact it had been perceived as a complete genocide. But of course any survivors would likely have hidden away, avoided the sight of the Saiyans. “Oh no, I’m a visitor as well. To my knowledge this area is simply apart of Namek’s wilderness, they don’t seem exceptionally interested in expanding land ownership beyond what they need for their homes and villages.” Korla was unsure exactly how to broach the subject on her mind, if he WAS a Tuffle she assumed it was potentially something he would seek to keep under wraps to avoid drawing Saiyan attention, and her own appearance was so distorted from what she had looked like as a Tuffle she was no longer recognizable as one, she was lucky enough of her features remained the same for Duran and Iyokan to recognize her. “I… I don’t really know how to ask what I have on my mind. At least not without sounding very strange. My appearance does not strictly match what I have always looked like, my father made me this in order to save me from the destruction of our species, but you… you look like one of us, an almost perfect match” Korla avoided actually SAYING Tuffle at least immediately but gave more than enough clues that if the man WAS a Tuffle he would know exactly what she was saying.

Carro's own posture grew less tense as the woman seemed to have lowered her own guard somewhat. It was relieving to know he wasn't accidentally trespassing. "Well, u-uh, you're free to stay here a bit, if you'd like. I'm still setting up camp- apologizes for the mess." He gestured to the half-built camp. Aside from his capsule house and half-built porch and awning, the rest of the place was dotted with shipping crates of various sizes. The boxes and smaller cases of capsules were all adorned with his company's logo. Still, he'd stretch his arms and take a seat in one of the unfolded lawn chairs, letting Cola lie on his lap.
The leader of Earth raised his brow as Korla began to speak again, unsure how to bring up whatever was on her mind. He nodded in response- that was a feeling he'd grown familiar with. Though, his concern and curiosity turned to somber realization and shock when the Tuffle began to explain her situation. "...I see."
"I'm... from Earth- I-It's a pretty nice place, though it has a bit of a nose for trouble. I'm afraid that unless my mother reveals that she's actually not human, well..." Carro sighed in defeat. He looked away, unsure of how to continue at first. He couldn't begin to imagine the horrors this woman had seen, and the hopes he'd dashed moments ago. Genuine, somber concern and sympathy welled in his body. "Regardless, you h-have my condolences. I would not wish such catastrophe upon my worst enemy..."
But what genocide was this alien referring to? The first to come to mind was Konats- he'd heard some tales through Typha. There were many planets that fell victim to the Fleet, but both instances were undone by the Dragon Balls. The one clue that these people looked like himself didn't bring anything to mind.
Carro inhaled, regaining his bearings. "I sincerely wish you the best- I can only imagine the suffering that..." He trailed off, twiddling his thumbs in discomfort. He really hoped he wasn't being insensitive. W-was just standing there just looking like one of her kind offensive?! "...I'm sure words are probably just meaningless pats on the back at this point. Is there anything I could do to help?" "Sorry" wasn't going to help this woman find the rest of their missing brethren. Though he lacked in brawn, Carro made up for it in brains!
"I-I'm really not a fighter, but I'm good with technology! I can build or repair most androids, build some tools and gadgets, t-that kind of stuff. I can look through some of Earth's databases to see if there's anything recorded that could match who you're looking for, maybe? I should have a few materials to spare, if you need any..." Carro raised his ZPhone, sliding a holographic screen in front of himself. "...Though if you'd r-rather not, I understand. No offense taken." He gave another genuine, albeit nervous smile. He really hoped he wasn't being rude to this dying culture, somehow.

Wind crackled and burst outward as Duran lashed out with the blade of his arm, letting loose a vicious scream. The current of air was so dense and sharp that it cut straight into the edge of a distant mountain, leaving a large rupture that ran deep into the mountainside. The Destron Cyborg poured with sweat, his body quite literally steaming under the intense heat his Core had generated over his grueling workout. Duran stood inside of a small crater, surrounded by ripple-like cracks as a result of him unleashing his inner strength. He panted intensely, finishing his agonizing training routine for today. Everyday, the Destron Cyborg would push himself to his utmost limits again and again, hoping to push them farther and ultimately shatter them. The Saiya-Jin had over 2,000 years to grow stronger... The one he met, Vocado, had even reached a form beyond that of the Oozaru. It enraged him, yet pushed him forth- fueled him with the burning desire to overcome the Saiya-Jin and ultimately retake Plant from their filthy grasp. But as the Destron Droid finished up his business, his hearing picked up the distant roaring of engines. As he looked over, he saw a massive vessel enter Namek's atmosphere, slowly climbing down toward the soil. Duran's eyes narrowed at the incoming vessel, it was landing close to their encampment...
Too close.
Concerned with Korla and Iyokan's safety, Duran took off into a run before leaping into the sky. The Cyborg's flight module immediately activated, and Duran took off for their camp at breakneck speeds, leaving a trail of fading Ki in his wake. He cursed himself for taking his training so far away from camp in this moment- what if more Saiyans had come as backup for the Warriors they ran into here? Duran's core felt heavy.
He flew as fast as he could, eventually spotting the Tuffle camp in the distance. The large spaceship seemed to have disappeared entirely, but he did see two people situated somewhere close to their encampment. One had to be Korla, but the other...? Duran's eyes narrowed in suspicion-- Atleast things seemed peaceful. For now.
Slowing down his flight, Duran landed somewhere close to Korla, and didn't hesitate to immediately approach the two. ''I sensed a vessel land close to our base. Is everything alright, Korla?'' Duran asked his friend, raising a single brow at her. He'd quickly glance toward the small stranger infront of them. For a moment, Duran's core stopped, his eyes suddenly widening--
He...He looked like- ''K-Korla, who is this...?''
Duran was admittedly nervous, not necessarily wanting to jump to conclusions. The similarities were too great, though. This stranger seemed Tuffle through and through, but how could he have survived their extinction? Were there really more survivors than he thought...?
The Destron Cyborg was filled with hope, yet also...suspicion. Something about this person didn't seem right to him, yet he couldn't place his finger on it.
With narrowed eyes, Duran's muscles tensed up. ''Who are you?'' He'd ask warily, his weaponized arm shining in the sunlight. ''Why have you approached us...?''

Korla blinked as the man, the Earthling explained that he was likely not what she thought he was, he was a native of Earth and preasumably Human unless his parents were hiding something from him. She supposed that it DID fit that he could be an Earthling, albeit far below what she understood to be the average height for a male Earthling. Still though it just felt TOO strange, was there ANY way that perhaps his joke about his mother could be reality? “No.. well, probably not, it’s fine. I’m sorry, its just you look so perfectly accurate to what we looked like” Korla said with a sad half smile trying to maintain a somewhat light mood. The man offered to help regardless though, furthering the strange coincidence by confirming he was apparently very technologically inclined. Just like a Tuffle would be. Korla opened her mouth to start a question relating to the potential that he really MIGHT be a Tuffle when Duran arrived catching Korla a bit off guard though in hindsight she should have expected it, the fact she had arrived BEFORE him was nothing short of a miracle with how focused Duran was on protecting them, making sure no Saiyan could approach their camp. “Everything is fine Duran” Korla said taking a step between her friend and the new arrival placing a hand on his cannon arm, not trying to force him to lower the weapon but simply encouraging him to do so “This is… Oh, I never even got your name. I’m so sorry. I'm Korla” Korla said turning back to the man and giving an apologetic smile. “He was not aware that he was landing near our base, he’s an.. Eartling, visiting Namek” Korla stumbled just a bit on claiming the man was an Earthling, every fiber of her being WANTED him to be a Tuffle, admitting otherwise felt wrong, another loss for their people. Korla briefly turned back to Duran and gave him a look to see if Duran saw what she did, or if she was just seeing ghosts where there were none.

CARRO's PL: 100 || COLA'S PL: CAT
"Well, Earth is like a conglomeration of tons of races, though Earthling is the dominant populace..." If one looked hard enough, they could find a member of virtually any kind of alien out there on Earth, Carro had grown to believe. For better or worse, Earth was one of the most populous places out there. He'd seen Demons, Arcosians, Herans, and many other types of people on his home, but the people Korla was vaguely alluding to remained a mystery. "I'm, uh, admittedly unsure what species you are referring to, though..."
Before they could talk further, Carro raised a brow as his watch buzzed in alarm. Its Scouter systems detected another nearby power? Lo and behold, Carro looked up from his watch to see a very tall and equally intimidating-looking cyborg beside the alien. Was that a knife or a gun attached to his arm...? Either way, Carro hoped it remained pointing away from him. Cola, on the other hand, hopped off Carro's lap and into the grass...
This new stranger seemed to know the woman- Korla, he called her. Either way, the android was also very wary. "A-are you sure I'm not on your lawn? I can move..." Carro muttered, body growing tense again as he worried that he was being unwelcoming. First impressions were very important! "Look, I, uh-- If these Scouter readings are right, I couldn't hurt either of you if I tried, i-if that's what you're worried about." Carro raised one of his scrawny arms for emphasis. If LEO even breathed at these two with the intention to harm, that was another story... But he decided to keep his friend's existence under wraps for a bit longer. He didn't want to scare these two survivors more than whatever befell their people already did. "I assume you two know each other?"
"But I only landed recently, and this place seemed clear enough to set up a temporary camp while I plan things out a bit more. I'm a bit ahead of schedule- you could say I'm here on a business trip of sorts. I got important presidential stuff to do, after all!" He glossed over the mention of his presidency. The two had a point, he'd remembered- he hadn't even given his name! He'd grown used to being recognized back at home, but Namek was another story. "Oh, r-right! I'm Carro. Some call me President Hofferson back home, buuut just Carro's fine." He spoke with a bow of his head. Hopefully if Korla had any doubts about his capabilities, the reveal that he was experienced enough to lead a planet would sway her.
Though, beside Duran, the grass would give way as a little black blur skittered out of hiding. Brisking alongside and past Korla's leg was a speeding black cat. Cola was intent on pouncing on the light reflecting off Duran's arm and onto the grass- it wasn't that pesky red dot, but it'd do. "...A-and that's Cola." The entertained President introduced his distracted companion, who was still pawing away in confusion at the light. "He doesn't bite, I promise."
Still, he'd take another slow inhale to compose himself again. "So, uhhhh. Where was I..... Is there anything I can do, or?"

Duran silently glanced from the stranger to Korla, then back. After Korla had placed her hand on Duran's weaponized arm, he slowly accepted her gesture, lowering it gently. ''Alright,'' Duran nodded. ''Apologies, stranger.''
Slowly but surely the cyborg's stance began to relax. Apparently, this small Tuffle-like person came from 'Earth', calling himself an 'Earthling'. Duran had never heard of such a place, but he crossed off the chances that he belonged to the Saiyan threat. After all, he looked far too frail and tiny to be part of such a hardy species.
Although, besides clearing up Duran's doubts, it also saddened him. Part of him hoped that the Earthling was actually a Tuffle, but what were the chances? He was a fool for even having a shred of hope.
He cast a somber nod toward the visitor. ''I apologize for startling you, Earthling. We are simply...On edge, is all.'' Duran sighed out, running a robotic hand through his hair. ''You reminded me of...-'' The cyborg paused, taking a quick glance toward Korla to assess her reaction. ''Us.'' He ultimately spoke, remaining vague enough in his eyes.
Duran's somberness was swept away and replaced by curiosity when the Earthling formerly introduced himself. Carro, was his name. But more importantly, this 'Carro' was the president of Earth? The leader of an entire planet, conveniently visiting them? The cyborg hummed softly, casting another subtle glance to Korla. If they could get on Carro's good side, they could secure another potential ally.
...He only hoped Korla thought of the same.
''Well in that case,'' Duran paused, nodding respectfully toward Carro. ''Welcome to Namek, President Hofferson.''
''I am Duran, a former Soldier to our people, and close friend to Korla.'' Duran gestured to himself, and then Korla.
Suddenly though, the Cyborg noted the grass rustling at his feet. His eyes darted to the ground instinctively, only to see a small creature whizz through in an amusing way. This strange thing was Carro's companion? Duran hummed, curiously looking at the creature as it pawed at a ray of light.
Duran kneeled next to it, pressing a finger to his chin as he leaned closer, probably startling Cola. ''What a strange furred thing...You managed to tame it?'' The cyborg asked curiously, looking up at Carrro. ''It is very...-'' What was the word, again?
''Hairy.''
It was indeed best for Korla to handle the diplomatic matters. ...Duran wasn't particularly good at small talk.

Korla was relieved that Duran was quick to calm himself as she made it clear that the man was not actually a threat to them, he seemed to be reassured not just by her actions but also the man’s words as he made it very clear that he had not actually intended on intruding on them but rather had simply seen an open area to land on and…. Korla’s train of thought paused as the man and Duran spoke as she realized something very odd… there was no ship, the man had mentioned ‘landing’ and Korla HAD picked up what she believed to be a ship entering their general vicinity, but there was nothing resembleing a ship anywhere in the area. She would have to ask about that, perhaps the Earthlings had some sort of method of perhaps having their ships break down in some manner to become more compact? Or perhaps she had somehow missed it being sent back into orbit? A remote controlled ship would be quite useful. Duran thankfully maintained the hesistant vagueness on revealing what they were while still giving the man a good explanation of why they had such a reaction to him, the man then made a strange comment, mentioning being here on buisness, for ‘presidential stuff’ Korla’s eyebrow quirked up at that, the word ‘presidential’ was strangely familiar… She quickly got her answer as the man introduced himself just as she had, his name was Carro. Also familiar. PRESIDENT Carro Hofferson. Korla blinked a few times as the name rang in her mind, she knew the name from her research into the current state of the galaxy, she’d been desperate to find somewhere that would act as a suitable place to operate from until the Saiyans could be defeated. She’d thought at first Earth could be that place, thier method of governing was strange to her but its people were strangely similar to the Tuffles. It had ALMOST been perfect. Almost. But then she’d read of their recent election, won, by a landslide, by the man standing before them. A Saiyan. Korla’s breathing quickened just slightly as a whirlwind of emotions rushed through her, she felt sick. She’d just spent the past few minutes excitedly meeting this man, desperately hoping he was one of them, when the reality was he was an enemy. It was like a strange sort of sick parody that a Saiyan could look so similar to a Tuffle. Duran had no clue, he was even trying to be friendly as best he could, perhaps operating under the hope that they could gain the friendship of Earth’s leader. Every fiber of Korla’s body and mind wanted to attack, kill the Saiyan that had given her hope that there was another Tuffle around, that perhaps true Tuffles had somehow survived. But just like the rest of his species his existence crushed that hope. But… perhaps there was another way… “Is it not dangerous for the leader of a planet to be alone in the wilderness? I met Oboe, the Guru of Namek in a strangely similar manner” Korla said forcing an ‘amused’ smile as she spoke to appear concerned for the President, the reality was of course that she wanted to know if Carro was hiding his power like Oboe, or if he had some sort of protector nearby. If not… he was weak enough that altering him as she had done with Roma would be a simple affair, it would not entirely fix things, but it would certainly go a long way toward making things better. Carro WAS already physically close to being like a Tuffle, he just needed a few mental alterations.

"O-oh, it's fine. No offense taken!" He tried to reassure the cyborg, but nodded in acceptance to the brief apology all the same. Carro sighed- he just wished he knew enough to be able to help these two- namely what this species was, but he didn't have it in him to pry at their traumatic past. "So I've heard. My condolences..." Just what were these people? His concern and curiosity wouldn't stop him from trying to be welcoming, though. "Still, it's a pleasure to meet you two as well!"
Cola only mewed in response to the kneeling android, glancing around. If anything, he seemed more confused as to where the light went rather than the hulking metal man in front of him. "You've never seen a cat..?" Carro hummed in curiosity. "Well, they're popular on Earth! We domesticated these smaller breeds thousands of years ago!" He approached, lying in the grass beside his cat. "Though they still do have some hunting instincts, but that's mostly toned down to pest control now. Watch this!" Reaching into his pocket, Carro pulled out a small laser pointer and quickly the red dot on the grass. Cola's head turned, pupils dilating into dinner plates.
And just like that, Cola was off to the races after the red dot. Carro careened it to the side and out of the feline's grasp, repeating it as Cola ricocheted to follow in an intense, yet entertaining game of cat and mouse... But, he'd eventually let Cola clasp his claws atop it, turning off the laser pointer. "Good job- c'mere!" He called after the cat had "caught" the light, passing Cola a small feline treat from his other pocket. With a content purr, he'd whisk off into the grass to eat in peace.
Quickly capsuling the flashlight again, Carro wiped his hands and stood upright... Only now did he turn his head, noticing that Korla seemed to have zoned out. Was she not feeling well? "Uh... Is she okay? I-I have first aid and some medicine if something's wrong." He whispered to Duran in concern.
Well, she was fine now, and Carro resisted the urge to pry again. If anything, the woman seemed concerned about him! "Oh, don't worry about me. I scanned from the atmosphere to make sure no hostile wildlife was settled around here." He explained, turning back to the little building behind him. "Besides, I got some bots to help in a worst-case-scenario if a hungry animal tries anything." Lo and behold, a spider-like drone skittered on the side of the building. While it was built namely to build and repair, Carro always put in some emergency defenses. Pulling out another capsule, Carro dropped it to the floor with another smoky puff to reveal another deactivated drone. A quick button-press later, it stood up and beeped, skittering around the group. "And some on the go!" They wouldn't do much against a fighter- but thats what LEO was for. He could have these two meet her later, once he'd calmed them a bit more. Showing the "giant death robot" to war-torn survivors wouldn't make a good first impression.
"I uh, understand if you don't wanna talk about whatever happened. E-even if I can't directly help with it yet, is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable? I-I have snacks! Lemme just..." He fished around in his coat pockets again, mumbling to himself. "No, it's not in there... One s-second." He knew he had his rations somewhere on him. Maybe they were in his shirt pocket! Hastily removing his jacket, Carro would tie his green coat around his neck. He shivered in the wind again, his saiyan tail fluttering in the gust...
Carro couldn't have been more oblivious to what he'd gotten into, still digging through his pockets. His only worry was that he'd left his food with LEO, not the ensuing results from the visage of the monkey-like appendage curled behind him.

Carro's weird furry creature had distracted Duran more than what was socially acceptable at this moment, but could you really blame him? The battle-hardened cyborg was truly fascinated by the little feline, reaching forward with a metal finger to scratch it's little head. ''A cat? Interesting...And you domesticated these hunters?'' Duran looked at the cute creature. 'Hunter.' ''Remarkable.'' The Cyborg spoke in a hush, eye wide with wonder as Carro's cat pounced around the grass, chasing the red laser.
Fascinating...
Although Duran quickly realized that he should probably try and appear a bit more professional. As fascinating as Carro's feline pet was, he had diplomatic duties to do. Who knew what boons they could gain from the President of Earth? The Cyborg cleared his throat, standing to his full size as he readjusted his focus. Korla seemed to start growing quite uncomfortable, even distant- so much so that even the President had noticed it. Duran raised an eyebrow to her, tilting his head to the side.
''...Korla?''
Duran quickly grew suspicious. Something didn't feel right. That uncomfortable feeling Duran had from the very start began to rise again, gnawing at the back of his mind.
Korla snapped out of her silence, raising her apparant concern for the President's safety. Duran saw right through her words, and grew even more suspicious at what it was that Korla had come to realize. The Cyborg furrowed his brow, still silent as he looked to Carro. Immediately, the ignorant President began to reveal his means of protection. Small arachnid-droids that skittered about, an easy target. Duran still had no idea why Korla was prying into the president's defenses, but it was obvious she was readying herself for a potential battle. But why...? Suddenly, a lump formed in the Android's throat. ...Could it be...? The Cyborg's heart began to beat heavier and heavier. Carro's ignorance only served to make the Android more anxious. He shot nervous glanced at Korla, feeling the Destron surge through his limbs. Was his hunch truly correct? Had they been deceived all along? Sadly, Duran's suspicions were true all along. As the President went to reach for something in his bag, a hairy appendage revealed itself from Carro's backside. A tail. A Saiyan tail.
His Core stopped beating for a moment as his eyes widened. He felt furious. He felt DISGUSTED. To think they had been speaking to a Saiyan all along! Slowly, Duran's breathing started to intensify. His fingers twitched and his chest heaved. The usual control he had over his body began to falter, disappearing entirely. Duran's weaponized arm quivered. ''SAIYAN SCUM...!''
It happened in an instant. The Cyborg's entire body lunged forward, unleashing a toxic mist of Destron in his wake. He viciously sped toward Carro's defense droids, mercilessly cutting through them as if they were meat puppets. Before the president could even process what had happened, Duran stood right behind him, menacingly towering over the Saiyan as the robots exploded in the background.
''You will serve another purpose, Saiya-jin!'' Duran bellowed, reaching out with his robotic hand to grip the back of Carro's head and slam him into the grass below. He'd attempt to keep the weak Saiyan pinned down, which wouldn't be much of an issue if nothing interfered.
Duran's eyes snapped upward, meeting Korla's. They were filled with unbridled hatred.
''KORLA! INFECT THIS BASTARD!''Duran has activated his Overdrive! New PL: 24,000 KP: 3/3
Duran is attempting to pin Carro to the ground! Let's hope nothing goes wrong HMMMMmmm

Korla was left in a sort of deadlocked state as she watched Duran and Carro interact, trying to figure out what to even DO in this situation. Everything was thrown into complete disarray with just the simple reveal of Carro’s name. Part of her wanted to attack outright, maybe even kill him for the deception, regardless of if it had been his intent. Earth would be better off without a Saiyan leading it, who knew what sort of connections he had with the Saiyans infesting Plant? He could very well be planning to aid them in turning it into a second ‘Vegeta’ or perhaps name it after himself. The Saiyans were so disgustingly arrogant, naming an entire planet after an individual. It seemed however that her silence in the wake of the revelation of Carros identity was something both Carro and Duran had noticed, Carro appeared to grow concerned or at least feigned concern while Duran already seemed to be realizing something was off, she knew the shifts in his tone very well and the way he spoke her name meant that Duran would very soon be trying to find out what had set her off. Which gave Korla very little time to figure out how SHE wanted things to proceed, her question on Carros protection would only serve to make Duran more suspicious but it was necessary nonetheless, to ascertain how big of a risk an attack on Carro might be, logically he was unlikely to reveal the exact state of what the protections on him were, but the relatively friendly exchange they had so far might also make him more likely to give SOMETHING. And that he did, he had mechanized protection, a drone, likely with more hidden throughout his camp. Her scouter gave a readout on the drones that confirmed for Korla that they were not much in terms of a real defense if she and Duran attacked, the question was however if there were defenses Carro was not yet willing to mention, or if the drones were simply in an idle state not displaying their full potential. As Korla weighed her options and Carro spoke disaster struck, his jacket was removed and his tail uncoiled from his waist revealing the orange appendage to all, most importantly, to Duran. There was no more waiting and thinking, Duran’s response was as immediate as it was vicious rushing forward as a mist of destron cloaked him allowing the cyborg to grab Carro and slam him to the ground, at first Korla thought perhaps he was planning to just kill him there and then, but as he spoke she realized Duran had other plans. Even as furious as he was Duran had the clarity of thought to know Carro was more useful alive “I wish this had gone differently Carro, I wish you were anything other than a Saiyan….” her heart still desperately wished he HAD been a Tuffle “Don't worry though, once this is over I think we can get along, and you will understand WHY this was necessary” it would take a bit to get past the ‘is a Saiyan’ thing but the infection process would make Carro more like a Tuffle than a Saiyan and remove any risk of him standing with the ‘Kingdom’ it would be better for everyone involved. Korla crouched next to Carro and careful cut across his forehead, a small cut was all she needed as her body began to break down and dissolve into the wound, into his blood, a cut on the head would allow her to work even faster, less ‘distance’ to the brain where she needed to do the REAL work. Carro seemed smart, strangely so for a Saiyan, so she would need to strike fast to overwhelm him.

CARRO's PL: 100 || LEO'S PL: LEO'S PL: 1,476,000 (x9P | 164k BASE) || COLA'S PL: CAT
Carro sighed in defeat as he pulled at his empty pockets. "Ugh, sorry... I think I left my food w-" Carro absentmindedly began, his tail twitching in thought. Maybe LEO could bring them some good food- that would give her a good first impression! However, his thoughts were cut short- almost quite literally.
The android, now hostile, lashed out to dismantle his drones. They beeped in alarm, but were cut in twain before they could defend. A torrent of emotions began to tear at Carro's mind as he held the single surviving drone close to his chest. Why were they suddenly attacking him? Was it something he said? The shock, panic, and betrayal only lasted a second before a looming shadow and pain overtook him.
Carro saw stars as his face was slammed into the dirt. He tried to push his head against Duran's grip, but their difference in strength would only let him push his chin a centimeter off the ground before he ran out of breath. He tried to wriggle the rest of his body as the angered android spoke again, telling him he'd "serve another purpose." "I-I have no idea what you're talking about!" He protested, managing to push his mouth off the ground to speak. "I... don't know what I even d-did! I was trying to help!" He spoke, still straining himself by fruitlessly trying to struggle free. "Just l-let me go! Or..." Carro began, but dropped his head with another heavy breath as his stamina faded. Though as he lied helpless, his green irises would flash to a pale orange for a split second...
His blood ran cold as Duran spoke- Infect him?! Carro screamed again beneath the android's grip, struggles resuming. The only reassurance that kept him conscious was that help was on it's way.
Korla crouched beside his pinned body. In spite of everything, Carro opened one of his eyes to give her a defiant glare. He grit his teeth in response to her words. "That's... what this is about?" He weakly croaked. A few strands of genetics that gave him his tail was why they hated him so suddenly. Forget that he'd been nice and genuinely wanted to help them. Forget that a part of him still wanted to help- but not like this. "W-whatever you're thinking o-of doing..." Carro muttered as Korla put a hand to his bruised forehead. "Don't-"
He didn't get to say anything else before a harrowing coldness struck his scalp. The President gave one last feeble scream of resistance as he felt a liquid pour across his face and into his head. Any fight left in his muscles faded as his skin grew uncomfortably pale- even if Duran let go, his newfound daze would keep him ragdolled across the grass as the battle moved from his body to his mind. Still, his heart hammered. He didn't know what was happening, but he didn't want it.
Though, even as the last drops of the liquefied Tuffle entered her victim, the first thing to become evident to the invader would be an odd, almost ethereal pressure inside Carro's mind, like walking through mud. The chilling weight was focused like a death glare- as if someone was watching the unwelcome guest. But aside from that, there seemed to be nothing in the way... ...Was there?
Amongst the howling winds, there was a faint echo of distant jets. Though it faded as quickly as it came...
Korla successfuly enters Carro's brain, but so far he hasn't to fall to the effects. LEO begins to approach, but she's not here yet. Yet. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Her [UT1] Life Link allows her to sense Carro's pain and sense Korla's Tuffleization attempt. Korla's not the only one in his mind. LEO's presence and looming pressure might send a few chills, but she remains silent/mostly hidden for now...

Duran growled and hissed angrily as he continued to push the frail Saiyan into the dirt, feeling a brief rush of satisfaction with every ounce of pain he inflicted on him. A sick and twisted grin tugged on the Cyborg's lips, yet was hidden behind his mask. He couldn't help but laugh darkly as Korla kneeled infront of him and made a careful incision into the Saiyan's forehead. ''Sssh! Stop resisting, Saiyan...!'' Duran hissed, before laughing subtly. ''It'll all be over soon!''
His sights moved to Korla as she began the infection process. Duran was shocked at what he saw, seeing his dear friend quite literally dissolve into liquid and disappear into Carro's wound right infront of him. His eye widened, unable to hold in the faintest of gasps. This was the ability that Korla had spoken about? It was truly terrifying to see what his friend had become. Yet Duran couldn't be more thankful at this moment.
As Korla disappeared entirely into the President's body, the resistance he was putting up ceased entirely. Motionless with widened eyes, the Saiyan laid on the ground. Almost as if he had died right then and there. Duran couldn't even think what kind of indescribable things were happening in the President's mind.
Duran released his hand from Carro's head and stood straight. His surroundings had suddenly become incredibly silent, to the point where Duran grew uncomfortable. Raising a foot, he stomped onto the Saiyan's back to keep him pinned just in case he'd regain consciousness. Duran's eyes scanned the surroundings, carefully taking note of every small movement or noise. In the far distance, Duran could briefly hear the faint roaring of jet engines. His core suddenly began pumping harder and faster, Destron coursing through his augmented body...
He had no idea why, but Duran grew increasingly more nervous with every passing second.
''Hurry up, Korla...Come on...!''
