The strangest part of beginning the infection of Carro was that Korla actually felt a tiny bit bad about it, Carro had not yet shown himself to be a BAD person, but what he WAS made it far to risky for them to simply leave him be, with any luck though he would understand WHY it had been necessary after this was over. Once inside the President’s body it was easy going to get to the Saiyans brain, what WAS a surprise however was the strange foreboding feeling Korla got the closer she got to it, and actually approaching the man’s brain felt… difficult, like she was being weighed down by some sort of opposing force. She wondered if perhaps that had to do with Carro’s intellect, he had come off as intelligent in their conversations and if the robots that he had references were of his creation that only further proved he was smart. Roma had been smart but had a whole host of other issues that had made the process easier. Now though she was not fighting a despondent and possibly suicidal young woman, but a smart and terrified man likely trying his damndest to oppose whatever she had done. He had even had the slight advantage of knowing something was going to happen as Duran had mentioned the infection BEFORE she had begun. But Korla persevere through the mire ignoring the threatening feeling ‘I know this must all feel wrong and terrible, but it’s for the best, just open your mind a bit. You’ll understand soon’ Korla ‘spoke’ as she sought to make contact with Carro’s brain and begin the process, if all went well the connection between them would be established and Carro’s mind be filled with unfamiliar memories. Korla’s memories. She hadn’t quite understood it the first time she had done it, but the more Korla thought on what she did the more sense it made. The first step assaulted the mind of her target with memories of Tuffle life, first pleasant ones to establish a framework of positive attachment to the Tuffles, then negative ones, the War, the Saiyans. Carro would feel everything Korla had felt through each flash of memory, her love for her friends and people would become his, and her malice towards what the Saiyans truly were would become his as well. As long as that took hold the infection could then work on tweaking dangerous Saiyan impulses and altering his genetic structure slightly, seeking to counter more of the ingrained Saiyan behaviors by making him on a small level part Tuffle. Korla pressed harder than she had with Roma, giving even more personal memories in hopes that they would strengthen the connection.

CARRO's PL: 100 || LEO'S PL: LEO'S PL: 1,476,000 (x9P | 164k BASE) || COLA'S PL: CAT
The moment LEO had felt her head crack in pain, she knew something was horribly wrong. Now sprinting through Namek's plains full-force, she could feel a painful presence inside Carro. The android raised her head high as another crack rippled through her glassy scalp, teeth grit tight. A mighty roar resounded across all of the Northern Scar- a foreboding warning to the distant Tuffles...
As the realization that the woman who once stood in front of him was literally sitting on his brain, panic began to build like an unstoppable snowball in his stomach. The only respite was feeling the cyborg release his iron grip, allowing the saiyan to take a few deeper breaths. It didn't last long, though- Carro yelped again when he felt a foot slam right back onto him.
Pain throbbed so violently in his skull that Carro wondered why it didn't just crack open. It felt like his brain was being pulled by it's ends like a fraying rope by the Tuffle. He heard her voice in his head, causing his breathing to quicken. 'Absolutely NOT.' He tried to respond back with his thoughts. All he could do was focus and bide until help arrived. He had to remember familiar things. Like when he met Cola as a kitten on the streets, or going out to eat with Sulfur, living happily on Planet Plant, going on a joyride with LEO in the stratosphere-- wait, what was that other one?
'Oh no, no, no n-no no-' Carro's thoughts stammered as he picked the odd memory out. Brainwashing?!? He shuddered at the thought, but found an odd sense of resolve filling him. At least this wasn't an unfamiliar concept. Carro closed his eyes, but he couldn't block the memories. As strong as his spirit was, his body was frail.
Even without the extra push, he couldn't help but to feel bad for Korla... But then, the memories turned grim. 'S-stop it--!!' He felt everything Korla was putting out in full. What had happened to her was horrific, if a sudden vision of a bloodthirsty Oozaru was any indicator.
Alas, Carro's benevolent spirit was still fighting against Korla's hatred. The pressure in his skull began to intensify yet again, as if trying to constrict around his mind as a shield and singe the invader, barring the Tuffle from Carro's genetics after a few moments. There was power to it- an abnormally copious amount given Carro's physical weakness. While it wasn't a welcoming presence to Korla, the familiar feeling helped the saiyan shed more of his fear. Two could play at this game.
Carro grit his teeth and tried to push against Duran's hold. His own memories began to surge as he tried to project them to the parasite. "I... d-don't want to hurt anyone," He muttered aloud. "You're n-not EVER going to change that!" There were the happy memories of spending time with Sulfur and his coworkers, putting himself before them.
He wasn't afraid to try and shove his own unpleasant recollections to Korla. The genuine expectation of his own brutal death that was followed by a baneful demon trying to take away his people, and how he still tried to reason with that anger, and how he'd driven his own fist into his gut to give the man the payment he demanded- a selfless sacrifice before everything went dark. She was free to look into his soul for the malice she expected from a monkey, but would find herself empty-handed.
...Though in his memories, a powerful friend remained present- one that was watching the parasite in Carro's mind. Try as she might to taint Carro, Korla only had one half of a whole.
'I've seen enough.' A voice revealed itself to the parasite- the source of the power assisting the President's resistance. 'Carro is already taken, trespasser.'
Not a second later, the ground would shake again. And again. A surge of firey ki descended from the skies, slamming into the ground with a torrent of dust. Machinery roared and metal gleamed in Namek's three suns, towering high, high above the Duran. The mech's head lowered to rest only meters from Duran's face, fangs bared and claws unsheathed. "L-LEO...!" Carro croaked. His eyes held an orange tinge, similar to the towering android. LEO felt an odd surge of energy... But first things first.
"Step off of him." She spoke, bluntly and sternly ordering the weaker android to release her pilot. The towering mech made no move to attack, but she was poised to lurch at a moment's notice. Her gaze trailed from Duran to her writhing pilot. She winced in shared pain. "...As for your friend," LEO let her words hang for a moment as she addressed the parasite inside Carro. 'Get out and stay out.'
LEO (not-so-surprisingly) appears! LIFE LINK (x9P) is active along with her [UT1] of the same name to help Carro resist Korla's [UT] Tuffleization. --------------------------------------------------- OOC NOTE: To clarify just in case, bold text is spoken dialogue and italics is the internal stuff!

That sinking feeling of dread was starting to weigh heavier and heavier on the Destron Droid. The ominous silence came with an indescribable feeling of danger, like something terrible was about to happen to both him and Korla. Duran's eyes continuously darted across the vast horizon, seeing nothing but the empty plains and hills everywhere he looked. His right, left-- behind him...! Nothing.
But then, a distant roar resounded across the plains.
Duran's core sank into his chest, skipping several beats as his eye widened in growing terror. Why was he so afraid? It could've just been one of Namek's many forms of strange wildlife. He had been witness to some of the Planet's dinosaur-like creatures, who beared similiar roars. Yet this one...There was something about it that set it apart from the rest. As if it was in pain...--
Immediately, Duran looked at Carro's half-conscious body as he writhed on the ground under his boot. The Saiyan was resisting violently. The strangest of thoughts came to life in Duran's mind. It couldn't be, right? Why was he thinking these absurd things to even be a possibility...!?
Despite protesting to himself, Duran's fear got the best of him. ''...K-Korla!!'' The Droid shouted in a panic. ''Hurry up in there! What's taking so long...!?--'' The Cyborg's breathing grew heavier. He could've sworn he felt the ground shake just now. Once again, Duran frantically looked at his surroundings. Still, he saw nothing, yet his internal scanners were going wild. They alerted Duran of a sudden shift in the air pressure, growing closer at a staggering speed.
The ground shook again as Duran heard a distant rumble. The skies split apart to reveal a collossal metal figure that caused his Core to momentarily stop. It crashed into the ground infront of Duran, towering over him as it spoke. So this is what Duran felt... Sweat ran down Duran's head as he froze in place, his gunblade raised at the mechanical beast instinctively. It ordered Duran to let the Saiyan beneath him go, lest he'd be torn apart by the mech's gigantic claws. Duran growled under his breath, eyes momentarily snapping to Carro as he croaked out pained words.
''SILENCE!!'' Duran shouted back, quickly lifting the president by the collar and reaching his arm around the Saiyan's neck. ''Get back!'' He'd hiss toward Leo as he pushed the tip of his blade against Carro's throat. ''Move but an inch, and he dies.'' Duran threatened the gigantic mech, realizing fully well that he wouldn't be able to defeat that monstrosity in a fair battle.
He panted frantically, Destron Core beating intensely as he stared up at the mechanical beast. ''We are freeing him! Can't you see?! These Saiyans are a cancer to the universe who deserve nothing but DEATH!'' Duran shouted, before continuing. ''While puny and frail, he remains Saiyan! One day, he'll turn his back on your planet and send it spiralling into war! Thousands will die! And for what?! His amusement...!?'' The Destron Droid panted intensely as he shouted and protested, stepping back as he pushed the tip of his blade onto Carro's skin.
It was all in Korla's hands now...If she failed, this could be the day that they'd die.
''We'll ensure that never happens...So back off, before I paint the grass with his blood!''

Korla had little experience with what she was doing, most of the actual ‘work’ was done by a strange sort of instinct augmented by her will, but she could tell pretty easily that what was going on with Carro was FAR from what was supposed to be the norm. Roma had resisted a little bit but it wasn’t enough to give her issue, but Carro… Carro was a whole other beast in comparison despite his substantially lower power. His mind resisted her at every turn and even managed to fight back as he focused on his true memories, thankfully most of those weren’t what she needed to edit, and… the more she watched the more confused Korla became. She had expected to find the darkness of a Saiyan hidden behind that very Tuffle-esq visage but what she found was nothing of the sort. He was… he ACTED like a Tuffle, or at least what she remembered of what things were like when she was young, when the was was not quite as intense. Still though things had progressed way too far for her to suddenly stop, truth be told she wasn’t entirely sure it was SAFE to stop in the middle of what she was doing, it was akin to brain surgery and just stopping felt wrong, but was that because it was BAD to stop or was it her instincts trying to press forward? “You.. dont? You don't.” it came first as a question but she didn’t need an answer to know it, she could SEE it FEEL it, Carro was being as honest as he could ever be, his mind revealed the truth, he was not without an aptitude for battle but he was without the passion for it that drove true Saiyans forward. “That’s all I wanted.. There.. There has been a mistake, you are not what we feared” Korla ‘spoke’ and difficult as it was she pulled back from Carros brain, she’d finally seen exactly WHY, as far as she was concerned, that Carro wasn’t a ‘true’ Saiyan. He was like Duran, a hybrid, part Earthling. But as she pulled back a new voice entered the conversation, a powerful dominating voice that in truth Korla realized had always been here, just as a presence, the presence that she had struggled against. “Give me a moment, please do not hurt Duran, he will likely respond aggressively to the danger you present to me in the same manner you have to Carro. This… will likely not be comfortable” Korla warned as she began to remove herself from Carro.

CARRO's PL: 100 || LEO'S PL: LEO'S PL: 2,132,000 (x9P | 164k BASE) || COLA'S PL: CAT
"Sure you will." LEO growled back as Duran held Carro hostage. "If you want to kill them both, that is." She added on, sharpening her glare as she called his bluff. Duran would kill Carro if he moved his blade, but he'd also kill one of the last members of his race- his friend.
Still, the lion found herself hissing with venom as the android spat out his excuse of a self-entitled explanation- Carro was a saiyan, and therefore he was bad and had to suffer this terrible fate. "You've known him for all of three minutes." She snarled, inching her claws closer. "I had no intention of attacking you before, but you're tempting me. I don't want to hear ANYTHING about your grudge against a species--! Do you have one example of something Carro did to deserve this?!" She challenged, jaws now crackling with energy. LEO wasn't looking for a finger pointing to the Saiyan race. The entire time, Carro had been nothing but sympathetic and welcoming until the Tuffles planted his face onto the floor. LEO had never heard such a poor excuse in her life, tragic backstories be damned. "I will repeat myself. Let him go, or I will make you."
Still, LEO found her eye involuntarily twitching as a thin crack on her head grew slightly wider- a mirror of the bloody cut on Carro's forehead. She felt pangs resound through her head, but stayed as strong as Carro himself. He still had one eye cracked open, defiantly staring back at Duran with teeth grit. Korla had seen into Carro's very essence- though he could tell she was somehow doubtful at first, there was no denying the truth.
'I never was.' Carro's thoughts replied back, more exhausted than before. He didn't have much steam left in him, but LEO's crushing presence remained, focused on the parasite. At least she knew how much of a mistake this was. 'He beat you to that, parasite.' LEO's voice responded back in regards to Duran's reaction. Her tone was laced with bitter hostility- while Carro was both too kind and too tired to snap at the one who tried to take his mind, LEO was much, much less forgiving.
Soon enough, Carro found himself gasping for breath. His vision fogged as the liquefied Tuffle made her exit, his head growing cold and numb for a moment, like a nauseating brain-freeze. LEO's own eyes flickered with glitched splotches of green, but she shook it off in time to lurch a claw forwards, aiming to bat aside Duran's arm and pull Carro out of his grip as Korla completely left his body.
LEO looked to her limp pilot, half-conscious and cradled in her claw. His skin was eerily pale, the cut on his head still leaking drizzles of blood. The President managed to wrap one of his arms around her heated nail, breathing slowly. The feline only hissed, looking to Korla and her friend with disgust. "How dare you." Part of her was tempted to just blast the two here and be done with it...
LEO's tail lashed in the air, slapping a capsule towards Carro's mobile home. The building disappeared into the little container, which was promptly picked up by Cola as he hastily climbed onto the larger feline- but not before hissing at Duran. "If you know what is good for you, never try that stunt on another soul, or I won't be as merciful." The roar of jets began to grow again. "And don't you dare show your face to me ever again." With that, LEO roared, surging into the skies with a burst of ki- gone as quickly as she came.
She shook her head, trying to ignore the growing ache in her scalp...
LEO briefly activates MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE (+x4T // x13T TOTAL) to further intimidate. She exits with an exhausted Carro in tow.
