Aspara had upon researching events, speaking to LEO and Carro, realized that he indeed did need to get stronger if he was to really become a defender of the planet, to be someone of notable strength. He had left Central city and traveled southward, in order to not let his impulses get the best of him and make him run into a situation he can't win. Along his way to the desert he pointed travelers who were trying to get to Central or North city in the right direction. Simple thing really, but not truly noteworthy, still it made him feel somewhat fulfilled to help others. He just wishes he could do more to help.
Right now he was just going through combat motions, a frown on his face as he was also thinking of his defeat against Flip. He felt so helpless when Flip just out of the blue brought up that darn casino, which the tricky guy was probably using to swindle others out of money, and yet he couldn't do anything about it. He didn't go up there as he could sense how strong Flip had gotten. It made him feel so angry with himself that he just...let himself lag behind like that. Sure he stopped him from robbing that bank and delayed him, but that was all he was able to do and then he got defeated so easily!
He's been out here isolated from civilization ever since that Flip situation, so he's been left unaware as to what's been going on otherwise. He unleashed stationary ki blasts all around him, then made them fire at him, in which he began to dodge and deflect them. He had the ki orbs also plant ki mines so as he blocked and dodged some of the blasts, well, he had the ki orbs set to randomly place the mines so knowing where the mines ended up was a touch more difficult with so many densely packed around him. To any onlooker, they'd see what looked to be a massive glowing yellow orb about several yards in radius.
In Reality its all a massive amount of ki orbs made by Aspara for training purposes. After dodging and blocking 50 blasts, Aspara made a wrong step, and felt the ground heat up and as he looked he saw the yellow orb on the ground expanding and exploding. 'okay maybe this was a bit extreme...' he thought to himself as he felt himself getting bounced around by the resulting explosions, as well as feeling himself getting peddled by the ki blasts until managed to force it to disperse. Around him were a large series of blast marks on the ground, while he just stood with his cloths having some burn marks.
He'd been training like that for the past hour now. He wiped sweat off his brow, and winced slightly. The 16 year old Saiyan Hybrid clenched his fist and looked at it. "Not enough..." he muttered to himself. He needed something more to help with his training then ki blast dodging, but what? Then a thought occurred to him. 'I need a sparring partner.' but who would he get to spar with him? Maybe Dion? No, no, he lost contact with that guy weeks ago. Peppa? He lost contact with her much longer ago, so that wouldn't work either, same with Cassa. He laid on the ground on his back, let the ki orbs disperse into nothing and just looked up at the night sky, wondering what it's like on other planets.

Nashua hadn't been to the Diablo Desert in quite a while - her last few times there were either because she'd been invited by that Arcosian who was keen on building up his tower, or just passing through. Currently, she was just passing through, though she was also curious to see how that tower was doing. Had people repurposed it since Hale's disappearance, or was it simply standing around with little to do but weather the elements? Well... As she hovered above the area, she quickly came to the conclusion that the answer was... Neither. Where the tower once stood, now seemed to remain a deep abyss, devoid of life and devoid of towers. "...I guess that's what happens when you build a giant tower on top of sand," Nashua mumbled to herself as she figured the whole building must have simply collapsed into the Earth. Either that, or someone just blew it up out of spite.
With nothing else to see here, Nashua carried onwards, wiping some sweat from her brow as the hot, desert sun continued to beat down on her. Powerful as she may have been, that didn't mean the elements couldn't still get to her if she remained exposed to them for long enough. Before long, she'd just about had enough. "Gah, why'd I have to go and wreck my ship?" she angrily mumbled to herself as she lowered down to the ground. "Dumb repair guy said it'll be in the shop for at least a week..." If she hadn't crashed, she could've just breezed right through the desert in her air conditioning. Maybe even set the thing to autopilot and taken a nap inside. Well, at least she'd had the sense to go and rent one of those capsule houses, she thought as she popped the capsule open.
The Saiyan napped inside the much cooler house for a good few hours, until the sun had finally fallen, and the glistening moon now hung high in the sky. Nashua stepped out of her capsule house with a yawn, and popped the thing right back into its little container, which was then stuffed into her bag. Now, which direction was the city again...? As she turned on her scouter to figure it out, an unusual reading came up onto the purple screen. A power signature? Right nearby, in the middle of the desert? It was kind of low, too, only just above 10,000. Might be a good idea to check it out and make sure someone wasn't lost and dying of thirst out here. Nashua quickly zoomed over to where the source of the energy was, and found and black haired man lying down in the sand.
"Hey, are you okay?" she called out to him as she touched down on the ground just next to him. "I have some water if you need it, here..." she said as she started to rummage through her bag, eventually pulling out a half full water bottle. It took her a second to notice how charred the ground around him was, and when she did, she asked, "You weren't training all the way out here by yourself, were you? It's kind of, uh, dangerous. Here, drink up." Nashua quickly thrust the water bottle out for the man to take. "Also, you should really wear lighter clothes than those if you're gonna be out in the desert, you'll sweat to death."

His eyes opened at the sound of a female voice asking if he was okay. The first thing he saw was a saiyan woman looking at him. Another Saiyan woman...that makes...3 Saiyan women he's met now? He sat up replying with a smile as she asked if he needed water. Well, its night time, and nighttime in the desert tends to be chilly rather than. She then made a statement about him training out here...he politely took the water bottle. "uh...thanks." He then heard her suggest that he wear lighter clothes out here in the desert, to which he laughed at the sweat to death part. "well its night time so I doubt I'm going to be sweating, as for lighter clothes." he then proceeded to take off his jacket, revealing he had a short-sleeved button-up shirt underneath. "But yeah I was indeed training out here." he looked in the direction of the city. "Need to get stronger..." he muttered, a determined glint in his eyes. He didn't consider himself all that strong right now, and considering what he sensed from this woman, he was clearly out of his league and it just reinforced his belief that he is indeed just too weak right now to truly be of able to help and save others, to protect those who can't defend themselves. He took a sip of water, "As for danger, well, what's an adventure without it eh?" he asked with a small grin on his face, as this was his first time being in Diablo Desert. He also thought about his luck so far when it came to Saiyans, this is the third female Saiyan he's met, though he's met 4 male ones as well. 2 of which weren't exactly nice, yet all the female saiyans he's met have been pretty nice so far. Well, he must have at least been thirsty if he was willing to take water from a complete stranger. The guy was just lucky that Nashua wasn't some creep who'd try to poison him and steal all his stuff, really! He was right that it was nighttime, though, and the desert tended not to get so hot at night. "Well, as long as you're back in some safer place by sunrise," she replied with a shrug. It was a looong trek all the way here to the nearest city. Even by flight, it'd have probably taken Nashua a couple hours unless she maxed out her ki and gunned it. And she somehow doubted that this man was quite at the level she was capable of reaching. It was only now that she got a good look at him, though, did she realize this guy wasn't just some ordinary human in an usual spot. With hair like that...
"Are you a Saiyan?" Nashua quickly asked him, though she then realized she couldn't spot any kind of tail. Maybe his was tucked away? "Just, you know, the hair looks like a Saiyan's. I'm one myself, if you couldn't tell by my, well, everything." Her armor, her hair, the tail that swished around behind her... It probably didn't take many guesses by just about anyone when it came to figuring out what species she was. Granted, the quarter alien blood she got from her mom's side of the family had her hair a dark brown instead of a sleet black, and her eyes a golden hue rather than the abyssal dark most Saiyans bore, but when she went Super Saiyan, all those differences faded away to make her look indistinguishable from any other Super Saiyan. ...Not that there were many of those.
And, like most Saiyans, this guy seemed quite intent on becoming stronger. Not most people would venture out into the middle of a barren desert just to have a spot to train, after all. And to have a 'dangerous adventure' apparently, though putting yourself in unnecessary danger just for the heck of it sounded a bit reckless to Nashua. To each their own, she supposed. "Well, I'd be happy to train with you a little bit," she offered. "I don't have anywhere to be right now, anyway! Was there something in particular you wanted to work on? I've gotten lots of advice and tips from some of the best fighters in the galaxy! Oh, and my name's Nashua." She felt the urge to add 'foreign ambassador of the Saiyan Kingdom!' onto the end of that, but, well, she almost felt she'd outgrown the title by this point.

Aspara's PL: 10,800 He wasn't actually all that thirsty when he took a sip out of the water bottle, though it did refresh him a bit after the training session he just did. He stood up and stretched a little bit as he listened to Nashua's words. He inwardly grinned at the thought of sunrise...like a little heat was going to affect him with his fire-based abilities. Then she asked him a question that left him with a surprised expression. What sort of question would surprise him? The fact she just asked if he's a Saiyan. This surprised him because she's the first person to actually outright state such, and not automatically assume it. He gave a smile and chuckled a little bit. "Nice observation, also nice to meet yet another saiyan that makes you the...6th Saiyan I've met since I left my place in a forest way up north." he shrugged but held an easy going posture. His eyes lit up slightly in excitement when she said she's willing to train with him. Her next words got him more excited, as it meant she knows some really skilled people that could help him get his strength and skillset up. Perhaps he'll even be able to beat Flip one day, and boy won't that be a fun thing to do, especially once he ensures the guy gets imprisoned for his crimes! He dusted himself off a little bit an replied to her words with a childish, yet challenging, grin. "Nice to meet you Nashua, I'm Aspara, and I'd be overjoyed to train with someone as strong as yourself." he said this with an accepting tone, making it clear he's accepted her offer.

"Sixth Saiyan, huh? Guess you haven't met so many." Nashua probably couldn't possible count the number of Saiyans she'd met, considering she'd grown up on Planet Vegeta. Even the non Vegetan Saiyans she'd met were plentiful, though much fewer in number in general. The amount she'd met overall probably numbered somewhere in the thousands - for all she knew, she might have even met over a million of them! Quite a few had come to thank for for bringing them back from the dead, after all. Plus, all the military, and passersby... It was definitely uncountable. "Were you just in some isolated town in the forest for your whole life, then?" Nashua asked with a raised eyebrow. Such a life of isolation sounded rather boring. Hers had been quite busy even growing up, so she probably would've had a hard time imagining what Aspara's upbringing was like.
Regardless, if it was a sparring match the young man wanted, Nashua was certain she could teach him a thing or two! "Right, sounds good to me!" she stated. "But I think you'd have a rather hard time holding your own against me as I am now, so..." Nashua took a deep breath, and felt her power level falling, and falling, and falling and... Geez, to think that this level had used to be her maximum power output. She finally came to a stop at a power level of eleven thousand, just barely over what Aspara's came up as on the scouter. "There, that should make things a bit more even," she stated with a thumbs up. If Aspara had no way to detect power level, he'd likely have been a bit confused, but perhaps she could show him later on just how much she was holding back for him.
Now was no time for that, though. "Okay, well, show me some of your stuff!" she stated, crouching down into her fighter's stance. She wasn't expecting so much from this Saiyan, but who knew, maybe he'd manage to surprise her somehow?

Aspara's PL: 10,800
He just gave a sheepish grin at her almost correctly guessing his origin. "heheh, you got close there, not a town, just a single house in the forest." his grin showed that he was actually impressed she got so close with her guess. Of course, she doesn't really know the whole story even with that, as he did leave to find out what happened to his parents. Though he has gotten rather...sidetracked to say the least. First by meeting Peppa and Cassa, getting separated from them. Then watching Peppa get her armed torn off in the tournament, then losing track of her again. Then he had gone further up north and fought some scarred saiyan, blew up the guy's pod, then he went southward and got beat up by this bank robber named Flip which is where his frustration began. Now standing up, he observed as she lowered her powerlevel, impressed she could do that, so with his eyes widened "Wow, you can lower your powerlevel? That's pretty cool!" he complimented thus essentially giving away the fact he can sense powerlevels, and thus he formed his own battle stance in response to her last sentence. His facial expression returned to normal as he grinned and spoke while finishing up in making his stance. He was in a front stance with a hand on his front, open palmed, while the other was to his side in a ready position. He began channeling ki into the ground, formulating a plan to catch her off guard with, but first he needed her to make the first move to pull it off, either way his eyes were watching her carefully whilst holding a confident grin on his face.
