It had just broke into the afternoon on this bright yet chilly late-summer’s day. The skies were clear of the clouds save for the thin wisps and strands that streaked in sparse places. Blue skies were tinted with a veil of light grey, showing signs of the season turn to fall. The sun could only shine a soft blur through the veil, giving a decent amount of light but nowhere near enough to bathe the planet in its all-encompassing heat. The winds blew quite strong this day, making the temperature more chilly than usual. The smell of ozone was faint but noticeable to anyone who tried to focus on it. No doubt fog or rainfall would come this evening.
The weather didn’t matter much to Saizomaru. He was an android; he didn’t need to worry about catching a cold. As he soared through the skies at so high an altitude, he was closer to the sun regardless. It was much warmer up there than it was at ground level.
The winds whipped his hair frantically behind him as he made his way towards the Lookout. What with this dragon ball hunt coming to a close, he sought out aid from the only person he knew had the knowledge and the connections that would help him most—the Kami of Earth. As the one being that knew anything and everything about these magical orbs, Saizomaru knew that he could help with the summoning of Shenron and provide answers to any questions he himself or anyone else with him would ask.
It did not take long before the android was able to touch down onto the marble tiles of the giant, bowl-shaped platform once he had reached his destination. The old place hadn’t changed much. The trees were still despite the wind speeds; the main structure was still as pristine as ever, glistening a soft sheen of pale white from the light of the sun; and it looked to be completely deserted and was silent save for the sounds of the winds whooshing between the pillars of the chamber.
At least he hadn’t been attacked again, so Saizomaru thought to himself with some dark sense of humour and relief. It had that going for it.
Regardless, Saizomaru made his way to the center of the platform and took a quick look around once more. Nothing seemed out of place, nor were there any signs of activity. He guessed that Chime was either in the main chamber or in one of the side rooms, or he was below deck tending to magical Kami things. That, or he was just sleeping.
Not wanting to disturb Chime from his guardian duties, the android elected to sit on the floor and wait for the little namekian to show himself. At least he could act as some sort of pseudo-defender for the place while he waited. It had been a month—should be around this time that some other bad guy would come and try to blow this place up.

Gabu had finally found a relaxed place to cool down and chill from the city life that he had found himself recently in, to the country life that had loud noises every now and then. This was the perfect place for the quite peace. Gabu found himself in his pajama style of clothing, with it being white in design with thin blue strips going in a vertical style. He also wore his pajama hat and carried a cup of swamp water with him. Others found it repulsive but not him. He found it so refreshing that he always has a cup in the mourning. Considering that he slept at the back of the lookout tower near the bushes, he was short enough to conceal himself not that he was trying to conceal himself but it was rather cold at night. With no sense of time due to not having a watch or a scouter available on him, he assumed it was morning even though it was the afternoon. He walked towards the center and front section of the lookout tower, where he saw a man just sitting on the floor. Gabu calmly drank his swamp water and still hung over since last night.
"Morning stranger. Didn't know everyone came to this place to sleep at."
Gabu proceed to walk towards the edge of the lookout tower as he continued to speak.
"You know some of these doors over here are strangely locked you know. Like someone lives up here or something. Well I don't want to disturb them ya know."
Gabu stood at the edge and proceed to relief himself as it was now raining from the clouds above. After finishing up, he zipped up and headed back to the stranger.
"The names Mercenary Gabu and I am a toad not a frog. You know people tend to get that confuse yet what most don't understand is."
Gabu proceeded to lay on the ground and look to the sky.
"We toads are covered in warts and our weight is pretty hefty. Frogs are more slender and flexible than we are. It's a shame really that people tend to confuse us. But oh well.."

It didn’t take too long before someone else had decided to join the android upon the Lookout, though it came as a surprise to the android that this second character was already here. It was any wonder how he didn’t even notice them until now, though a quick summary of their power was more than a suitable enough answer; Saizomaru was more used to sensing stronger people that they just slipped right under his radar.
The person in question was a short, stubby, rotund amphibian humanoid, his skin a mix of swamp green and turquoise. His clothing was just a set of pyjamas, though it only raised the question of why. Did this toad-man honestly spend the night sleeping on the Lookout? Or did he just not bother changing into some actual clothes before coming here.
And that was the alarming part. How did they find this place? Had he been here before without the android knowing about it? What were they doing here? Why were they here? So many questions that Saizomaru wanted answered, yet he could not just simply interrogate them at blade-point. That, and they weren’t exactly a threat. It was a possibility that the android could beat him down just by breathing on him.
”No, I don’t use this place as a motel stop,” responded the android as he reclined backwards to get a better look at the toad-man behind him. ”Then again, neither should you unless you really wanna get a beating from the owner.” Chime did have a lot of power behind his small child body, Saizomaru could admit, so it wasn’t in question who would win between those two.
As Gabu continued to make his way to the edge of the Lookout, the android stayed where he was, sat legs crossed on the tiles. A part of him did want to push this guy off the edge, just for a laugh. ”Locked doors are locked for a reason,” he responded. ”I doubt it’s much of your business as to what lies behind them. For me… well… I made the doors, so, technically, it’s my business.”
He could remember it like it were only yesterday. He recalled arriving late to a distress call from this place and found it only in ruin. It was at that point he helped a young girl named Neo—the then-aspiring Kami—in rebuilding this place. As much as Chime didn’t like Saizomaru being here, he had, in his mind at least, the most right out of most others in being here.
It was then that Gabu had finally introduced himself. Saizomaru, on the other hand, had no intention in reciprocating the formality; one doesn’t simply give their name out to potential threats. It was one of many things he had learned in the military. ”Mercenary, huh? Cute. Did someone send you here for something?” Now was the time for Saizomaru to get some answers. ”How did you find this place, anyway? Someone give you co-ordinates?”

Gabu sorta chuckled as he decided to sit by the man and cross his legs as he sipped his swamp water beverage.
"What, sent me here? No, I wander the lands to my own accord. I'm not bound to no one."
He then had asked how he was able to find this place and Gabu raised an eyebrow if he had any and decided to place his mug down.
"Well it was rather interesting. I was flying in the sky and next thing I knew, I saw a pole that went straight into the sky and through the clouds. So out of curiosity, I followed up the pole and finally found this place. I saw that the doors were locked for some odd reason and thought perhaps they were asleep or something. So instead of bothering them, I went to go sleep in the bushes. If this is your home that I have intruded then I guess I must apologize."
Gabu began to thought for a brief moment and looked at his cup of swamp water as he handed it over to Saizo.
"Would you like some delicious swamp water. It's from the local forrest nearby."
Gabu knew that most who didn't look like him would casual deny but he never judged no one no matter how they looked like and gave him a smile
"I'm new to this planet. Earf is what I think its called. I use to live on my home planet that is full of swamps and poisoness gas. Its much different from this planet. After all, my home planet is full of knights and mercenaries alike. Where are u from stranger if you don't mind me asking?"
Gabu croaked afterwards and began to consume the flies that were nearby as he was starting to get hungry.

‘Bound to no one’. Saizomaru wondered how many mercenaries actually believed in that logical fallacy. A mercenary makes their living by taking payment for doing other people’s work. They were always beholden to their contractor regardless of what they believed. The android knew that much given his own brief stint as one.
Still, he remained silent, keeping those thoughts to himself. The only thing he was interested in was why Gabu was even here. He had apparently just randomly found it while flying through Earth’s skies. It seemed plausible—was pretty hard to miss a huge platform floating in the sky attached to a huge pole—though he could not help but think that this toad was hiding something else. The android was adamant on the notion that their mercenary background was tied to this location somehow.
But Saizomaru kept up the uninquisitive façade as he let out a small hum tied to a half-smile. ”Well I guess you somewhat struck lucky,” he replied as he reached into his pocket to withdraw his electronic cigarette. Chime didn’t like him smoking on the Lookout but he didn’t care. It was a huge open area. It wasn’t as though he was going to stink out the atmosphere with its mango scent. ”Still, I wouldn’t be hanging around here all day if I were you. There’s quite a few people who are quite protective of this place and don’t take kindly to strangers.”
He placed the nozzle to his lips as he took a long drag from the vape’s tank. At the same time, the toad had offered him some of his ‘drink’. The android pushed the cup away from his gently in gesture of declination. ”Nah, I’m good,” he added, letting smoke pour from his lips as he spoke before pushing the rest of it out of his lungs, creating a thick, long stream of vapour in front of him.
As Gabu began to speak about his own planet, the android sat and listened half-attentively. It sounded as though this creature’s planet was basically one huge swamp veiled in nothing but toxic levels of methane and sulphuric gases. It wasn’t exactly a place everyone could go to, though Saizomaru did muse on the idea of seeing it for himself someday—he didn’t need to breathe, after all.
”Me? Well, I’m from Earth,” replied the android with a sarcastic tone. ”Or did you not recognize the fact that I look like every other human on the planet?” It was funny to think about the fact that Gabu looked like a toad zoanthrope.
Two people that look like something that they’re not. At least they’d be able to go inconspicuous about the place.

PL: 12,000 Ichi's PL: 12,000 Daruma turned the corner with his morning basket of washing for the line strung between two palm trees, and spied two figures on the Lookout. He waited for a moment, and caught the bare essentials of their conversation. Wait... did that toad say he...? "HEY. DID YOU SAY YOU SLEPT HERE?" Daruma shouted at the toad, as he placed his basket on the floor. "THIS ISN'T-" He coughed, and caught himself mid-sentence. It was unbecoming of an Attendant to a God to so quickly raise his voice, though the thought of mopping up toad-slime from wherever this strange guy had been lounging was a bit sickly. "Look, sorry. It was unfair to yell, but you can't just sleep here. This is both the sacred ground from which Earth's Kami oversees the world, and it's also my home. Please treat it with some respect." Daruma gave a half-smile to the other figure as he came closer to the two, and nodded in gratitude. "I'm glad at least one of you had the sense to recognize that this place wasn't some squatter's paradise. Thank you.""Oh!" Daruma shouted, a little awkward that he'd nearly forgotten he was striding out there in a set of patterned button-up pajamas covered of large tents, waving a hand over his torso and replacing the clothing with his orange uniform in a flash of bright light. "I didn't introduce myself, did I? I'm Daruma, Tsukibito of the Timeless Lookout. Who are you?"
and so a godsquad member arrives to greet Gabu -> Saizomaru

It didn’t take too long until someone else had come in to join in on the festivities. But, with such a loud voice, they had caused Saizomaru to bolt around almost in preparation for him to strike. However, as soon as he saw that it was nothing but a blue-skinned kid with a laundry basket in his arms, it quickly became obvious that they weren’t a threat.
With a power level that low, they couldn’t possibly be a threat. It was also probably why the android hadn’t even noticed his presence up until now. He was much more used to sensing stronger enemies.
”Yeah, well could you maybe not be so loud next time?” inquired the android as he stood to his feet to show some respect towards this person. He took a good look at the ogre, scanning him from top to bottom. The boy was wearing pyjamas too, just like Gabu. Saizomaru couldn’t help but smirk a little, seeing the irony of Daruma chiding the toad for sleeping here when he himself looked like he just rolled out of bed. ”And, yeah, you’re welcome. Though, of course I know about this place. I did help rebuild it a while ago.”
He remembered it quite well. In the attack before Monster made his little assault on the place, the android had arrived a little late. Still, he turned up in time to help a young doragon girl rebuild the place. He thought he did a pretty good job of it, too.
It wasn’t long until the ogre dressed himself from his nightwear into a more suitable attire, although ‘suitable’ was only a close approximation. Soon, he was changed in an orange gi top with oddly mismatching trousers and sneakers. It was like an odd blend of traditional and modern clothing, though Saizomaru remained quiet about it. He wasn’t exactly one to talk where dress sense was concerned.
”Daruma, huh?” replied the android. He smiled a little before taking a step forward as to present himself to the ogre. ”name’s Saizomaru; Pride Trooper; defender of Earth. I don’t suppose you have any idea where the Kami is?”

I think Gabu may have dropped out of the thread, but we can keep going between us. He’s free to jump back in whenever and we can continue the post order from there.
