There were many reasons why someone would go out to the tropics out in the Southern part of the world. Perhaps it was because people wanted a vacation and enjoy a romantic getaway or perhaps it was because a couple would want some alone time to themselves. All of the normal reasons why someone would go to a tropical island that allowed them to feel as if they were currently the only people in the world. But unfortunately, Kon wasn't one of those people. She could only wish that she had someone to live in that manner, but unfortunately reality wasn't that romantic.
While the radar has brought her to many interesting locations including a cursed wasteland, a ghost town and even to reunite her with her stepfather, she hadn't expected her to bring her to a private resort island. Why there was a dragon ball here, she didn't know honestly. But there were two distinct possibilities: either that blue cat Nashi was here for some reason or rather one of those orange orbs were hidden in the sand. Regardless, Kon only intended to stay here long enough to grab the orb and bolt. She didn't want to be discovered by any love-stricken couple who had randomly saw a girl sifting through the sand to find something they possibly had no idea about. Needless to say, she made an effort to make sure this would be quick.
After making rounds around the island a few times, it currently seemed abandoned. After sneaking a peak in one of the buildings it didn't seem like anyone was currently living there which was nice. It did give her more time, but for an island this big it seemed odd. But after checking the radar again it seemed like it was moving! Now there were two new possibilities: Nashi was here with some lover or a crab had picked up the ball and began to walk around. Kon honestly doubted it was the first one due to multiple reasons but if she had to, she didn't particularly mind crashing a couple's honeymoon. It was their problem for such unfortunate timing. But as the sun was beginning to set, Kon knew that she had to look fast. While she could still try and search in the dark, it was annoying due to how little light there was. Hopefully that crab with the ball wouldn't be such a fast runner...

Being a ghost was fuckin sweet. Yogu could go wherever he wanted and didn't even have to pay! Not only that but he could scare pretty much anyone! Jumping out of walls and making some random person scream in terror was always fun. But going back to his early point, that whole going wherever you want thing has been pretty great! It's what let him get to this beautiful island resort! Sure it was abandoned and he could've technically gone there when he was among the living. But that'd be trespassing! And he was pretty sure there were no rules against trespassing for ghosts. So now he had this cool place to call home! Sure, he could just live on the lookout but he had to have at least some freedom. He didn't need Nashi telling him off whenever he snuck out late at night. So he had a home secured, and he established himself back on Earth, but there was one more thing. " What the hell am I gonna do with this Dragon Ball?!" Sure he could always hunt them down to get his body back, but he couldn't just do it himself! " Guess I'll leave it up to Nashi and whoever else will be willing to help. I guess I gotta play guard. I'll focus as hard as possible on protecting it!" His promise was short lived. Yogu was kicking back and relaxing on a beach. And it was absolutely gorgeous. The sun was setting and had met the sea. It colored the sky in beautiful shades of maroon and orange. It brought a tear to the young ghost's eye. Of course, it was a tear made out of ectoplasm instead of water, but a tear nonetheless. It was so amazing to not just see an endless sea of black and red. " It'd be nice to bring a girlfriend here. 'Course I don't think I could get one as a ghost. Can't imagine dating a literal soul would be very nice. Maybe someone into Yogu would be interested in that though. Hmmm..." Yogu thought about that whole girlfriend thing. Was it normal for him to be barely nineteen years old and never have a girlfriend? Should he even care about that sort of thing? Why should he conform to society's norms of having a girlfriend? What is love? " Eh, I guess it doesn't matter. I'd just like to have a girlfriend. I guess I've always sorta been a romantic. Watching romcom's counts as bein' a romantic right?" Yogu looked to his Dragon Ball, which was placed right beside his beach chair that he sat in. " Could I wish for a girlfriend? ...Nah that's weird. Who the hell would wish for something like that? I think having a body is a little more important than that anyways." Yogu lets out a loud, long yawn. " Eh, guess I could take a little nap. Goodnight Dragon Ball..." Yogu slumps in his beach chair and falls asleep just as the tide starts to reach him.
OOC: I can already tell this is going to be an experience. Also it's now canon that Yogu frequently watches Romcom's.

After flying around the island a few more times to figure out where the dragon ball and the crab that held it went its location suddenly stopped. Kon really hoped that the crustacean didn't take it underneath the sand, that would be a pain to uncover later. Still, she found herself on the beach, radar in hand as she began to look up and down the shoreline to find any semblance of that bright orange color. But despite the task at hand, even Kon couldn't ignore how pretty the sunset was here. Normally, it was blocked by the ugly buildings and occasionally smog from the cities, making it something to dismiss instead of enjoying. But here, in the middle of nowhere, she could take it in to herself. It never got old.
Once she got her fill of the sunset, she would continue to walk down the beach, looking up and down from her radar to see if she could find them. Soon, she caught the unmistakable glint of orange standing right there in front of her! Pocketing her radar, Kon sprinted quickly towards the figure, only to quickly freeze in her tracks when she noticed that she had company.
The ball itself was familiar. As she had expected, it was the same dragon ball that she had given Nashi a month ago. While she was excited with the prospect of reclaiming it, she noticed someone else was lounging right next to it, although albeit asleep. While Kon did consider running and taking it, she noticed something strange about the figure. He was around her age, maybe give a few years, and looked human enough. But his body appeared transparent, something that she had never seen before. Were there such things as transparent aliens out there? It wasn't as if she would be able to know right now. But one thing was certain: he had a dragon ball. If he had it, he must have been someone that the cat Nashi trusted. She should tread carefully, especially when she didn't know the true strength of the person...
A new thought crossed her mind. She had managed to trick Nashi into leaving her alone with her other dragon ball through words alone. Maybe there was a way for her to convince the boy into letting go of his dragon ball. Maybe there was a way for her to somehow grant the wish he wanted on the dragon ball or a way to convince him otherwise. Her words could currently be her most powerful weapon. Maybe it could grant another miracle.
Walking over to the boy, Kon wondered if she should wake him up or just wait for him. Ultimately, she decided that she didn't want to wait any longer. "Hello there," she would begin. If he didn't wake up with her words, she would then gently shake his shoulder to hopefully rouse him, surprise by how transparent it was. "Got a minute to talk?" She asked, putting on a friendly tone. "You seemed lonely so I thought I'd join you out here to watch the sunset. I hope you don't mind."

Yogu was awakened by some horrible creature touching his shoulder. " AHHHHH WHAT THE HELL?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" In a panic, Yogu throws himself backward, and his ghostly body phases through the beach chair. Yogu lands gently on top of the Dragon Ball. " Uh... Yeah, sure. I don't mind." Yogu sits there in silence for a little bit, staring at Kon like she was an alien with three heads. " Oh, uh... Sorry, you can sit in the chair if you want. I don't mind. I can kinda just float on nothing." Yogu was really confused right about now, as what was going on had just set in. Sure, it was weird that this girl just showed up out of nowhere on an abandoned island resort and asked to sit with him, but what was important was that a girl wanted to hang out with him! Yogu's heart was beating fast, which was really strange because he didn't have one. He could also feel his face getting red, which was also really strange because he didn't have any blood. " So uh... Like, why are you here? You just show up to abandoned islands often or something? HaHA..." Yogu turned back to the sunset, which made the whole beach scene absolutely beautiful. Yogu was going to pinch himself, but then remembered that he was a ghost. Unless ghosts could touch other ghosts. Is that how that worked? " Guess I should find out." He goes to pinch himself, and it hurts. A lot. " OWWWWWW! OKAY!" Well, that had to have sounded strange to the cute girl sitting beside him. At least he knew now that the cute girl was real and not some dream. " Shit, shit! Alright, think of how to make this not awkward..." Yogu started doing his best attempt at a fake laugh, which quickly spiraled out of control into him trying to make sure there was no dead air in their conversation. Making a bad first impression was Yogu's worst nightmare. " HA ha HA ha... A-A crab pinched my toe... S-So thanks for coming over here whatever-your-name-is. Ya know I don't like to think about it too much but yeah, I guess I am pretty lonely. Being a ghost kinda does make you pretty lonely. No one wants to hang out with you. Only your best friends will want to hang out with you when you're dead. Good thing I'm gonna get my body back! Heh heh... Man, I wonder what I should do when the Dragon Balls revive me- Oh yeah! So the Dragon Balls are... Ya know what, just forget I said anything about that. Wow, I've been talking a lot." After Yogu got done with his word vomit that made him look like a psychopath in his eyes, he stared at the sea, which the sun was starting to disappear under. " Man, I could stay here forever if I didn't have somewhere to be tomorrow."
OOC: Ya see it's funny because Yogu's awkward hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Well. This person just acted as if she had stabbed him or something. Completely and utterly confused by the reaction that Yogu gave her, Kon took a couple steps back. Was it really the right choice to give someone like that the dragon ball, Nashi? She thought to herself, although, if he was really like that then maybe it was easier to take the dragon ball from him than she thought. Before long though, it seemed as if the boy had recovered his senses and realized who she was. However, Kon was a bit intrigued by his statement that he could float upon offering his chair. While flying wasn't particularly a difficult move to use once you mastered it, it used quite a bit of ki which could be a pain. But then again, he appeared to be an anomaly. Regardless though, she would take a seat on the side of the chair and pat the empty space right next to her. "I'll just sit here, I'd feel bad for taking your chair though. Why don't you sit here as well?" Kon would say with a small smile on her face.
Kon acted patient with his strange behavior, acting casually as if it didn't happen. "Well I guess you could say that. It's just the sunsets here are so beautiful." She commented before turning and staring at the sunset once again. As the boy kept talking, she did learn many important things about him. For starters, he was a ghost. Completely dead. Well, this was her first time meeting someone like him and it would make sense that he would want his body back, especially when he was otherwise stuck in a pathetic form like that. Of course, she couldn't let him know about how she thought of him. Instead, looked at him with curiosity. "A ghost? That's so cool. Isn't it fun doing ghosty stuff though. Being all spooky and things like that? Why wouldn't people want to be your friends. That just seems like the type of person I would want to hang out with, but that's just me." She would say with a giggle.
For a moment Kon considered spinning up that drab "my mom died in an accident" story that she had used to trick some other people. But, considering this person was after his body it was doubtful that he would give up his wish for something like that. Maybe, there was a way she could convince him to separate with that ball for maybe just a day. "A dragon ball?" Kon asked, feigning confusion. "Tell me more, I'm curious."
After his chatting had died down, the two would once again return to staring at the sun together. "Where do you have to go tomorrow? Do you have some ghostly business to do?" Kon would ask, genuinely curious about what he would be doing tomorrow.

Yogu was a little surprised to see that the girl didn't run off in fear of him being a ghost by the end of his loooong talk. She even offered him a seat right next to her! Yogu floats over and gently makes his landing beside her. While he was talking, Yogu realized it was kind of weird to just tell someone you were a ghost. But the girl didn't seem to mind at all. " Hehe... Yeah, it is pretty fun to do ghost stuff. Watching people's reactions to me popping out of walls is always hilarious! I think I even started an urban legend in Ginger Town! HAHAHA!" Remembering that old lady's expression when he started talking to her from inside her tea kettle made him laugh until it hurt! But that wasn't the part that got his attention. The girl said that that was the kind of person she'd like to hang out with. And now there was one thing that Yogu had on his mind. " I should totally ask this girl out!" Yogu got red in the face and started giggling to himself from just the thought of doing that. But, before he could get the words out the girl had moved onto the subject of the Dragon Balls. Which was fine by Yogu, he needed to wait for the perfect moment to ask her out. " Ahhhh, they're nothing that special or that important. Just some magicalwishgrantingorbsthatcangrantanywishyouwantifyoucollectallseven. Just some run of the mill stuff, ya know? If you ever spot one, be sure to let me know?" Then the girl asked what he was doing tomorrow, which made a smile grow across his face. He was gonna do something he should've done a long time ago tomorrow. " Well, about two years ago or somethin' like that I ran away from home. And since then I've died a whole two separate times, seen both Heaven and Hell, fought people that can vaporize entire planets with a snap of their finger and WON! Oh, and got possessed by a demon for a while. And in all that time I haven't gone back to see my folks once. They probably think I'm still uh... Still dead. So I think I'll just peek in really sneakily and just see how they're doing without me. Going back and seeing them when I get my body back is the first thing on my list of stuff to do. I've been doin' a lot a reflectin' while I was dead, and I've realized how important family and all that crud is. OH! And I'm also gonna try Dragon Ball hunting with my friend Nashi, I think. If he's got nothing else going on tomorrow." Yogu paused for a bit to stare at the sunset, which had almost completely disappeared now. It was going to get dark pretty soon. But he was sure that the stars were going to be even more beautiful than the sunset. After a little bit, Yogu turns back to his newfound friend. " Oh! My name's Yogu by the way. But uh, you can just call me Yo! So what's your name?" Yogu thought that was a pretty fair question to ask, but that wasn't the end of his super deep and insightful investigative work. " I pretty much just told you my whole life's story, so I think it's your turn to tell me yours! Here's a real easy question to answer, how's your relationship with your parents? Mine's pretty bad, so I wanna see if yours is just as bad. Or somehow worse, but I bet you can't top my... History of terrible relationships..." Yogu was now just realizing that that wasn't something to brag about.

Kon gave a laugh in response to Yogu's stories, although she did her best to make it seem as natural as possible. While admittedly, these stories were actually pretty interesting to hear, especially since it was her first time talking to a ghost, she simply rather get her hands on what she had come here in the first place a bit faster. "Well, then. I guess I get to meet the maker of the new urban legend. I'll keep that in mind the next time I go there." She said, flashing him a smile. Kon was actually quite curious about this and wondered how fast the rumors would travel. Besides, it did give her something to do once she completed her goals. One was better than one, even as small as this was.
But she didn't need to hear Yogu's explanation to what the dragon balls were for, even with as rushed as it was. "What?" She said, her eyes lighting up as she looked at the ball that was next to him. "Really? That's amazing!" She said. After a lengthy explanation about his life, he finally mentioned that name. So he was in league with Nashi. She did her best to hide how much she disliked that name, especially after that encounter with him that put her in this situation in the first place! Plus, why would he even want to revive someone like him? He was honestly just a giant goofball and as endearing as that was, she didn't see how that would go well for the Earth. "Could I see that?" She said, looking at the dragon ball. "I just want to hold it. It looks pretty." For a moment, Kon even considered running away with it once she had her hands on it. But that would break the trust she built too soon and overall wasn't smart in the long run. She had to hold onto the infatuation that he had with her for as long as she possibly could. Besides, maybe there was a way for her to convince him to part with it with how painfully obvious it was that he liked her. Kon would play along of course.
"My name's Kon." She said nodding her head slightly. "Nice to meet you Yo, that's a nice name you got there." But then, Yogu would go to ask about her relationship with her parents. Oh boy, if she really wanted to she could go into great details about the terrible relationship she had with her mom's side, but after the encounter with that insect she learned her lesson. But ultimately, it was better to play it safe. Besides, maybe she could play on her heartstrings. "Well, it could be better. I had an amazing relationship with my dad and stepmom and even a cute little brother as well." Kon said, reminiscing about her old family. There were times when she considered whether she would revive them with the dragon balls, but ultimately that wouldn't grant her happiness. Only getting rid of the source of her anger would. A tear would flow down her face, although the small smile she had on her lips still remained. "I miss them. Not a day goes by without thinking about them. Oh I wish you could have met them, they were the best parents ever and my brother was my best friend. He might've become good friends with you if he was still alive." Talking about them was actually making her quite emotional. Even after all these years the pain of their death never went away. "I just... want to hug them once again."

Yogu was having a good time. But every time this girl brought up the Dragon Balls, Yogu got a little uneasy. There was a voice in the back of his mind telling him not to trust her. Could she just be feigning niceness so she can get her hands on the Dragon Ball? " Nahhhhh... There's no way she'd do something like that! She's a nice person!" Yogu hands over the Dragon Ball to Kon, eyeing the ball closely. " H-Here you go! Just don't go running off with it, okay? Hehehe..." For a wish-granting ball, it never looked very good. It was a bright shade of orange and it stuck out like a sore thumb. But the way the sunlight was shining off of it made it look like a glistening gemstone. It's six stars inside glowed with some sort of powerful energy that wasn't ki. Was it some sort of magic stuff? Was magic even real? Eh, didn't matter. The girl's name was Kon. " Kon, huh? That's a cute name." Yogu realizing he said that out loud, turns away for a second. " Aw, crap! Was that too direct? What the hell was I thinking?! Now she's gonna think I'm weird... Nah, I'm doing fine. This'll go great." Yogu asked the question about her parents, and the answer was a lot more... Emotional, than what Yogu was expecting. It came as quite a shock to Yogu that Kon had this much bad stuff happen to her. " W-Well listen... I uh, I'm sorry if I made you bring up some bad memories. If it makes you feel any better, I know what it's like to have someone you care about... Ya know... A-And I'm sure that your parents and brother are looking down at you right now, and they're proud of you. Really proud." Yogu's mind went to his grandfather. Not just his grandfather, but the Crimson Strikers. And all the other people he knew that had died that day during the Satan City attack. Yogu hadn't thought about the Crimson Strikers in awhile. When he started to think about it, he realized none of the ones that died got revived after the dragon balls were used. " Their souls must've gotten reborn or whatever... So I'm the only one left, huh? I wonder what happened to Choco...?" Thinking about all of this was starting to make Yogu cry too. Of course, it wasn't real tears. But they were tears made of some ectoplasm. What Kon said made Yogu remember the fact that he'd constantly brushed over the past few months, the fact that other people have experienced loss too. And that since he's already been revived once, maybe he's just not as worthy of using the dragon balls as everyone else. " Hmm... Maybe I should just give this ball to Kon." Then Yogu thought about his plans. And of taking down the Stargoons once and for all. Of hanging out with Nashi, Yanwang, Chime, and everyone else he calls friends. It was like a fire had ignited in Yogu's soul and lit up his empty, ghastly eyes. " Nah, I deserve to be here just as much as everyone else damn it! I'll get those damn balls and get revived! I'll keep fightin'!" Yogu turned to Kon and stared at her for a moment before hugging her. It wasn't much of a hug though, just Yogu positioning his arms around her and trying not to pass through her. " Listen, Kon, once I get my body back... If you ever need anything, just let me know, okay? You seem like a good person. And us good guys need to stick together and help each other out, alright?" That wasn't what Yogu wanted to say, but it's what came out. Yogu turned away from Kon and looked out to the ocean again, and the sun was gone. It had started to get dark now. Yogu looked up and could see the stars starting to come into view in the night sky. " Oh, can I have that Dragon Ball back now? Sorry, I'm just a little protective over it. Don't want it going anywhere."

Holding the dragon ball in her hand only strengthened her desire just to run away with it. Surely, she could try and do so but Kon knew it was a bad idea. Besides, to be honest, he seemed like a really nice guy. But now every single cell in her body was screaming at her to just take it and run. It belonged to her. It belonged to her. It belonged to her. This was stolen from her, and now Kon had the chance to reclaim it, but she didn't know how fast she would be even able to escape from him without being caught up. Ghost or not, she didn't know what he was capable of. There was even a chance that death would even make him stronger! Instead, she had to sit here and bear a fake smile as the prize right in front of her was right between her hands. "It's beautiful, wish I could keep it forever." She said admiring it between the remnants of the light.
There were many people who had talked to her before, but not a single one of them had actually given her a compliment like this when they first met her. A tint of rose came across Kon's cheeks at this statement. "Thank you," she said still a bit shocked. She just couldn't believe that. While honestly she did want to ask him about that, Kon decided to leave it at that after he would change the topic. While she did just want to laugh at that statement, tell them why they would despise her for turning into this type of person, she merely sighed and shrugged. "Maybe, I just wish I could hear what they would say." Allowing her eyes to close, Kon would take in everything around them. From the cool wind to the gentle crashing of the waves. Everything that it meant to be alive, something that Yogu deserved to experience far more than right now.
While Kon had originally anticipated Yogu to fall for her sob story, maybe even hand her the dragon ball to give her the wish to revive her family, to her surprise instead he would give her a hug. This gesture of affection was so uncalled for, Kon should have probably been mad. She should have just shoved him off and let that be it! But, after six months of having no one. Six months of having no friends or allies other than her stepfather, it was overwhelming. A stream of tears came across her face at the gesture. This was the first true sign of affection she received from someone that wasn't her family.
As emotional as she was, that still would not change her mind. She wanted the dragon ball, and she wanted her power. Maybe if she was someone else, this gesture could have made Kon reconsider her choices, but she had never been that type of person. "Thank you," she said before handing it back to him. "But I have a question for you though Yogu." She said looking at him, "Why do you want to be revived? You were lucky enough to return to this world. You aren't like many others who are stuck... god who knows where? I know what you want a body of your own, but I don't see the difference between this body and that one. It just seems like that body seems even better than your normal one from what you told me. No offense, but, isn't there a better use for the wish than that right now. The world has been changing, not for the better..." Regardless though, Kon would return his dragon ball just as he had asked.

Seeing Kon cry when he gave her a hug made Yogu feel just as sad. Seeing someone cry like that always made him feel sad, but it was hitting him especially hard right there. After listening to that story, he couldn't help but start to cry again too. " Phew, I really am a crybaby, huh? We've been talkin' for only a little bit and I've already cried twice!" Kon thanked him and handed back the Dragon Ball. When she did, that sense of unease went away. He needed to keep that ball safe, no matter what. He felt this intense urge to gather them. He didn't just want to be alive, he needed to be alive. If not just for his sanity, but for that sense of really being beside his friends. He wasn't fully here in the land of the living. If he didn't focus hard enough, he could feel himself drift off. Like his soul was getting sucked back into the Otherworld. He wasn't supposed to be here, and he didn't know how much more time he had here. And what Yogu was thinking about right there tied in a lot to Kon's question. Why did he want to be revived? Was he even worthy of using the Dragon Balls for something like that? Why waste something so powerful for something so basic and selfish? The question made Yogu stop and think for a minute. " Well... I guess it's for a lot of reasons. I know it's a little selfish to just, go and use it to revive a single person. But... I made a promise to a friend of mine. And now that I think about it, I guess I didn't just make that promise to that friend. I've made it to a lot of friends. And a lot of those friends... Well, they aren't around anymore. And for some reason, even after dying twice, I'm still here. There has to be a reason for that, right? I feel like me still being here is me carrying on all of those people's memories. And even though I know that technically I'm already back and no longer in Otherworld, it feels like I'm still not entirely here. Like there are still pieces missing. I'm not going to be me unless I'm completely back. And I still haven't followed through on all those promises I made to my friends. I still have a lot I need to do and I can't do those things unless I'm completely here. Unless I'm Yogu. I made a promise to protect the people that are still here, and to stop the people that killed my friends. And I'm gonna keep fightin' tooth and nail until those promises are fulfilled." There was an intensity in Yogu's ghastly eyes as he stared out over the sea and at the beautiful starry night sky. " 'Sides, I could always make it so I wish for people to get revived in a certain time frame. Maybe six or seven months? Think of all the people the Dragon Balls could be used to revive! Think of how many good people could be given a second chance, just like me! ...Well, I guess it's a third chance for me, but who's counting, right?" Well, at least Yogu had a real answer for why he was still here other than beating the Stargoons now.

"I see." That was the only words that Kon could even muster. She knew that her reasoning for collecting the dragon balls was even more selfish than his, but still she still felt annoyed at this reasoning. Something as small as that. Couldn't you take what you got and just live with it? Beggers can't be choosers after all, and certainly the dead shouldn't choose what state they should stay in, especially after they were given such an honor to return to the world like this. She looked away from Yogu, trying to hide the new tears from her eyes. To hear something like this, even if she wasn't trying to revive her own parents made her upset. "It hurts still you know, hearing this." She would admit. "I know you want to live, but... if you really want to save people would coming back to life really make a difference? You're here, and you can definitely follow through on those promises."
Kon took a deep breath before exhaling, "I don't know much about the dragon balls, but what if they are one use? Even if they aren't, what if something happens where they're gone forever after you use it on yourself. I'm sorry I'm saying this," she said before looking at him apologetically. In reality, she wasn't sorry in the slightest. Right now, she was doing her hardest to convince him for the dragon ball. Maybe, she should go the more gentle route. "I just... don't know if that would be the best decision... I know you want to live, but you are alive!" She would then attempt to grab his hands and hold them in her own. "You might not be the same person you were... but you're still you! You can protect people like this can you? You have lots of friends as well so you might be able to support them."
Now she was going to change tactics. Since making it all about herself didn't seem to work, now Kon was going to make this a public issue, perhaps even talk about the world itself. "Even if no one likes you anymore because you're a ghost, I'll support you. After all, this is how I met you. Besides, you're a ghost right? You can't die a second time. You're pretty much immortal." She said, offering that up. "You can come back to life as many times as you want. If you die again that wish is all for naught, that chance still exist. You can stay here and help protect the world forever like this!"
She would think back to what he had told her, everything that he said. "I don't know how you died or what happened in your life, but it seems like you're a hero, Yogu. Is that a decision that a hero would do? Would he really sacrifice the well being of everyone for his own? Even if the dragon balls come back, would a hero still make such a choice like that? Families are already suffering, are you going to make them suffer anymore? Please Yogu, I don't think you're that type of person. You can become a true hero! Isn't that what one is?"

A lot of what Kon was saying was overwhelming for Yogu. He felt like he was being suffocated and shut down for what he thought. " Y-Yeah but the Dragon Balls aren't one use... And they've revived people..." Yogu didn't bother finishing what he was saying. He had a feeling it wasn't going to get through to Kon. Even when she went out to grab Yogu's hands, they just passed through her's with a chill, as if they weren't even there. " I-I'm not alive. I'm barely even an echo of what my soul was." And it was true. Yogu knew it was true. He was like Diet Yogu, for lack of a better term. He could do basic stuff that mimicked being alive, but he just... wasn't. He didn't feel that gentle breeze on the beach, he could faintly hear the crashing of the waves, and he didn't feel anything when his hands passed through Kon's. He wasn't alive. But Kon was right, he could still protect people. He could still fulfill those promises, dead or alive. But how could he stop the Stargoons, or protect people, when he was already at the limit of his power? He had tried again and again to tap into a stronger form, but nothing came from it. But he would be fine, right? He had Nashi, Chime, and everyone else. And even Kon said she would support him! Maybe he really didn't need a body to accomplish his goals. And he was immortal! He was already dead, so it's not like he could be killed again. Unless of course, his soul has a certain amount of damage it can take before getting erased permanently and he stops existing without even the chance of being reborn. " Pshhhh, there's no way that could happen. Yep, I'm definitely immortal!" And what Kon also said was right. He was a hero. Right? And heroes don't do something so selfish. He'd be breaking his promise to the Crimson Strikers and Nashi if he did something so selfish. He had the option to use these Dragon Balls for good, he shouldn't waste them on reviving himself and all of those people that had died in the past couple of months. If Kalabas was meant to come back, he can come back through his own hard work! Why should he let all of those out there suffering continue to suffer? Sure, he might eventually save them, but that's a big might. And he could all save them instantly with help from the Dragon Balls. " O-Okay... Yeah, maybe you're right. I can't go doing something so selfish. I've already been given a chance and being back here, why should I be selfish like that? I should just take what I've already been given, especially since so many others haven't been as lucky. Hmm... But what wish could I make that would save all of those people from suffering? Do the Dragon Balls even have that kind of power...? There has to be some limit to what they can do, right?" Yogu paused for a bit, then looked to Kon. " Hey, Kon. If you aren't busy with anything, what if we worked together to gather the Dragon Balls? My parents can wait. If we work together I'm sure we could use these things to fix all sorts of stuff!" Yogu felt strange for a second after he finished talking. He felt his energy rising for a moment, and he got really light-headed and dizzy for a second. Then, an aura suddenly shot up around him, and his power skyrocketed. " What the hell's happening?!" When everything started to calm down, he felt a faint heartbeat somewhere in his chest. "Oh okay Kais. Just do that, I guess. Sorry about that, Kon. Hehe..." Why the hell did that just happen? And why could he feel a heartbeat? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
OOC: Man, that transformation feels like it came out of nowhere. But it makes sense I sweeeeeear. Yogu's first ghosty boi transformation activates. Ghostly Power (x3P)! His PL is now 539,805.

It didn't matter if the dragon balls were once use or not. This window of opportunity was low, and Kon refused to let it close on her. Despite the fact she kind of liked Yogu, she was going to have to resort to the tactic she was the best at. Thankfully, it really seemed like it was working. It didn't matter that everything he was saying was supported by actual fact and evidence, but she wasn't going to give up that quickly. "It doesn't matter if you're an echo of who you used to be. You're still you! Even if you aren't whole, you're still yourself. You haven't lost who you are, you're still Yogu the hero. Not someone else." She said, her voice raising up to almost a shout. Even if this life he was experiencing was a pale imitation to what he was experiencing in his actual life, he was still experiencing something from the world, something that many people didn't have the pleasure of doing.
Needless to say, Kon was rather pleased when Yogu appeared riled up by the mini speech she had given him. To be honest, she was just saying what was in her mind and what should be said, nothing else. While secretly she was trying to hide down a self-satisfied smile, she would continue on and continue to boost his spirit that he had just regained. "You've taken the first step to become a hero, I'm proud of you." She said before walking over to try and give him a hug. Even if she was going to phase through him, Kon wanted to return this gesture. Things were going exactly to her plan, and she had never felt so satisfied. Now all she needed was to separate the dragon ball from him, even if it would be just a day and then soon her plan would be ready.
"I'd love that." Kon said with a pleasant smile on her face, her hands knotted together behind her back, fingers casually touching the bump in her pocket that held the dragon radar that she held for so long. He didn't know about the true ally that she had, right now all she would have to do was play as if they were on the same side. Suddenly out of nowhere, an aura shout out of him. Even without the ability to sense energy, Kon could easily tell that it was powerful, something that made her feel relief that she didn't just run away with the ball. She didn't know if she would be able to outrun that. "Well, I'm guessing you recovered your hero spirit?" She suggested. It was cheesy, but why not build up on this moment. Kon would then hold up her hand for a high five, almost in a celebration to congratulate this.
Her eyes looked at the ball once again, "Now then. If it was okay, I was wondering if I could do something." Then the hard part came. Kon honestly was unsure how she should approach this. "I was wondering if I could hold onto the dragon ball for a bit to help protect it. I know you'll probably say no, but at least hear me out." She said, a hint of desperation in her voice. "I'm a lot stronger than I look! I promise! But... I want to just look after the dragon ball, even if its only for a few days. I just want to look at it for a bit and think. Maybe, just let me have it for a little as a bit of a trust exercise?" She suggested. While Kon had no intention of returning the ball at all, she did her best to even put out a bit of puppy eyes in hopes of winning him over. She would walk over to him once again and try to give him a bit hug, even if she would pass through his body it was the intention behind the action that mattered. "I just want to know there is a bit of trust between us."

Kon's attempts at hugging him were a bit of a surprise to Yogu. He was starting to think that when he had done it earlier, it was a bit too direct. But seeing her do the same thing made him blush and smile. Well not blush, cause he didn't have any blood, but it felt like he was blushing. Then when he unlocked some more power, Kon said something pretty silly. " Yeah, somethin' like that. Or at least something equally as cheesy and generic." Yogu goes for the high five, but his hand passes right through, and the momentum makes him spin in the air. He recorrects himself and waits for a second before everything stops being so dizzy. " Man, I gotta get used to the whole, no physical contact thing. I don't wanna spin out and puke whenever I go for a high five!" What Kon said next made Yogu feel really uneasy. She wanted the Dragon Ball? Something about this whole conversation started to feel incredibly uncomfortable. Kon went on about trust, and how she's stronger than she looks, etc. Yogu sensed her energy and found that it was fairly large. But his was a lot bigger. Not only that but what if someone like Vocado showed up and found the Dragon Ball when it was with Kon?! She'd be killed instantly. And when Yogu thought about it, everything about their encounter just felt off. Why would she just wander up on someone that was clearly a ghost? And she just happened to be on the same deserted island as someone with the Dragon Ball? When Kon went in for another hug, Yogu started to back up and pulled the Dragon Ball closer to his chest. " L-Listen Kon... You seem like a really, really nice girl. And I'd like to hang out again some time... But this whole thing is movin' wayyyyy too quickly. Y-You get that right? I don't want to go handing over this thing to someone I like, just met. This thing is way too valuable to just hand over to someone I've been talking to for about half an hour. I-I'm really sorry if this upsets you, but I got friends that are counting on me to protect this thing." Yogu thought about a way to word this so that Kon didn't get upset. He didn't want her to think he was some selfish scumbag. " L-Listen, maybe if you met my friends and we all discussed it and established some trust, then I'd be cool with you hanging onto it? This isn't just some one-man operation. And I don't want to go an make decisions without them being here."

Honestly, Kon didn't know what she was expecting with the entire "being a ghost thing". He had already established to her that he wasn't whole and would constantly phase through things yet... he seemed so human to her that she constantly forgot. maybe it was just the fact this was her first time meeting a ghost which had this idea implanted within her head. "Maybe go for one with slightly less force behind it?" She would suggest after waiting for him to allow him to regain his grasp on this world a little who knows.
Aaaaaaaaand there goes the obligatory everything goes wrong here part of her plans where everything Kon tries to do pretty much always ends up in failure. It was pretty much expected at this point and thankfully due to her insight of her own actions, she actually did have a plan B in case things went wrong. And of course things went wrong here. While Kon was furious that Yogu didn't want to trust her with the dragon ball, she did her best to swallow her emotions. Unlike with that dumb grand master from East City, he held something that she wanted. He was possibly stronger than she was and someone that Kon knew much better than to screw around with. While a look of irritation did flash across her face, she finally sighed and shrugged in indifference. "Alright, I guess."
She honestly wished that he was one of those fools who could fall head over heels for someone like her and it would impair his judgement. Unfortunately, she had underestimated him.
Thankfully, his words had gave her an idea to launch things into a new discussion that could possibly work. "Alright then, I'll be willing to see your friends." Kon said with a grin on her face. She had no intention on seeing Nashi again, especially when she no longer had that four-star ball on her and she would probably be unable to upkeep that lie anymore. But then again, that lie had to break eventually. She just thought it would probably last until the end of the dragon ball hunt. But unfortunately she was proven wrong once again. "But!" Kon would say quickly, before Yogu even had a chance to say anything else. "I need you to come with me and help me do a favor." She said with a sense of urgency."
Swaying forward and backward as a sign of nervousness, Kon then took a deep breath. How would he even react when she brought a guy to him, especially one with a dragon ball? "You see, my step-father is pretty lenient about my travels. But, I have to check in with him every day to tell him what I'm doing. I'm not sure if he'll let me join in this hunt, yet I really do! Maybe if you speak with him he'll understand, since if I have strong allies that might be able to protect me then who knows?" She said. It seemed believable enough of a story. Plus, Kon mostly meant what she would say. Patiently, she would then await for his response.
