His attack had hit. The pair were now back on even footing. He watched Cress closely as the pair of them flew away from the town, making sure that Cress didn't try to double back and attack the city. He honestly wouldn't put it past him. However, that didn't seem to be the case, as the pair of them made their way out into the desert. It seemed that Cress really was looking for a proper fight. Ochra's anger had started to abate, but he still wanted to clobber Cress for what he had done. After all, if the guy was going to attack innocent people, expect punishment for it.
As soon as Cress turned, declaring the fight to start, was Ochra ready to attack. The bounty hunter launched himself right at Cress, letting loose a barrage of kicks and punches. He was letting himself cut loose now. No need to worry about innocent people getting caught in the cross fire. Low growls of anger came from his throat as he swung punch after punch at him.
Ochra wasted no time, launching in his direction as he entered his fighting stance. If he was a second or so he would have Cress before he entered it. The saiyan unleashed a flurry of kicks and punches, some of which made it through. Ochra really wasn’t holding back now, Cress was able to tell that he was still angry about earlier. Good, that’d make this fight even better!
Cress found time to retaliate when Ochra threw another punch, choosing to dodge this time instead of block. His hand raced forward past Ochra’s own, his fingers spreading as he attempted to clench Ochra’s jaw and let his hand rest over his mouth. An aura radiated from his hand as he attempted to blast Ochra from point-blank range. Hopefully this would catch Ochra off-guard.
As some of Ochra's blows made it through, it only pushed the angered Saiyan Hybrid onward. Cress was at least able to try and defend himself, blocking some of the attacks, but not all of it. But Ochra wasn't going to give him a chance to collect himself. Not a chance to counter attack. At least, that was what he planned to do. As he swung a punch for Cress' face, the saiyan dodged to the side, his hand reaching out and grabbing hold of Ochra's face. He could feel the energy starting to charge within his hand.
Ochra snarled. "No you don't!"
Letting out a roar, there was another burst of force radiating off of Ochra's body, much like before when he blocked Cress' previous attack. The burst forced Cress' hand off of him, causing his blast to shoot wide and miss him entirely. But Ochra wasn't going to end it at that. He would take advantage of the opening his burst would have made, aiming to swing a powerful first right into Cress' sternum.
His hand grabbed hold of his face, now all he had to was hold still and he could get his hit in. It wouldn’t be that easy, though. Ochra was quick to react, his muffled voice coming from behind his hand. Ochra unleashed a burst of force around him, prying his hands from his jaw quickly even though he made an effort to keep his grip intact. The energy he charged up came soaring out of his palm, only for it to miss its target by a large margin, ending in it flying off into the sky before fading from sight.
Damn, that was a waste of good energy. He found himself aimlessly flying back until he righted himself, only to be pushed back even further as his sternum was struck, knocking spit and the wind out if him, sending him further back with the added momentum. His feet dug into the ground to prevent the distance between the two from growing too big, causing a build up of sand at the back of his boots. Air rushed back into his lungs, giving Cress an idea. Acting on it, he sprung off the ground and flew toward Ochra, pulling his fist back to mock the preparation of an attack. As he got closer his mouth would fly open, bright energy rushing out of it and at Ochra.
Every blow he managed to connect on him just felt, well, oddly satisfying. Ochra was letting out grunts and growls of barely contained rage as he watched Cress flying back. He was now starting to build some momentum, really getting into the fight. But up until this point, Ochra had been mostly counterattacking to Cress' more powerful attacks. It was time to change that. Time to force the upstart Saiyan onto the defensive.
As Cress shot towards him, Ochra drew his fist back, growling as the air around it started to ripple. He didn't care what Cress was planning to do, Ochra was going to push on with his assault dammit. As such, when Cress pulled his little feint, and started firing his attack from his mouth at Ochra, the hybrid let out a roar, thrusting his fist out. The air almost seemed to burst and ripple, shooting right at Cress, colliding with Cress' own attack. The blast of energy would be punched through as Ochra's attack shot forward, the invisible wave of ki going right for Cress.
Phantom Blow [UP2] used. 74,007 PL beats Cress' Searing Wave. 39,357 bleed through damage coming at Cress.
The saiyan cursed in his kind as his attack began go loose its shape began to distort as Ochra’s attack hit it before eventually overpowering it. Eyes widening moments before disaster, the invisible energy smashed into his face with enough force to knock him off his feet. The saiyan fell over, his head hitting the ground faster than the rest of his body. “Damn that hurt!”, he thought as his gaze met Ochra’s once more.
Cress growled loudly as his white aura radiated from his body as he shot into the air, gaining some height on Ochra. He was in for it now! He’d be the first to witness and experience his new technique- the Kill Driver, the most powerful technique in his arsenal. He groaned as he smacked his palms together before pulling them apart, forming a red square made of energy that quickly warped into a circle. As he pulled it apart further a hole formed in the center, electricity covering his attack. The technique was ready, all he needed to do was fire it! “Take this!”, Cress boomed as he tossed the ring of energy at Ochra, which would cause a massive explosion upon impact.
Took 37% Damage. Used [SIG] Kill Driver | DMG: 174,300 -2/3 KP Remaining. Dig Deep SIG trait activated to not take damage. Attempting to temporarily paralyze Ochra.
Ochra's attack had hit dead on, sending Cress spiraling back. His heart was racing, his blood was pumping. Heat practically radiated off of Ochra's body, as the anger flooded through him. He was ready to keep going. He was ready to pummel Cress into the floor. It took Ochra everything he had to simply keep himself in check. Memories of his previous battles were rushing through his mind. It was a feeling Ochra had never really experienced before.
And then, it all came to a crashing end. As he felt Cress' power spike, he realized what was about to happen. Dammit, in his anger and his rush to fight him, he had allowed himself to be careless. Now he didn't have energy to respond to the powerful attack that was coming at him. Ochra let out a roar of anger and pain as the ring of energy collided with him, exploding on impact and sending the hybrid flying down towards the earth. His head was ringing, his vision was blurring, and all the damage was adding up. He crashed down to the floor, laying flat on his back, his pained body refusing to move. How had he allowed himself to get so careless?
Cress shielded his eyes and attempted to hold his ground as an explosion followed his attack hit him, struggling to stay in the air with the minuscule amount of energy he had left in reserves. Fortunately he wasn't sent flying as well, descending carefully to the desert floor when most of the smoke cleared. Now it was all quiet and Ochra lay there unmoving, bested by his attack. Had he still been able to move he could do a number on him and he'd not be able to do a thing about it. That was the risk of using the tactic he did. He had to be smart with it. He approached the saiyan, checking to see if he was dead.
Upon taking a closer look he didn't appear to have kicked the bucket just yet, but it looked like he was damn near close to doing it. Cress frowned, his anger and disappointment growing. The fight had just started and he was already done? "Tsch! What a sorry excuse for a saiyan!", Cress boomed as he drew closer. While he may have been deprived of some energy he still barely had a scratch on him. "You couldn't even give me a proper, all-out fight!", he says as he puts a foot on Ochra's chest. "There's barely a scratch on me. I know you're capable of more than that.", he says as he begins to apply pressure with his foot. "Get up!", he demands.
Ochra let out a grunt as Cress brought his foot down atop of Ochra's chest. Honestly, after taking all the damage that he did, the pressure didn't really seem to bother him anymore. He could barely make out Cress' words, and, quite frankly, he didn't care. Typical thuggish banter. Insults, demands for a 'proper fight', the usual crap. Honestly, Ochra had heard that crap so many times, and it always came from people who seemed to get their rocks off from bullying those weaker than him. Sure, Cress had won this fight, and that was more because Ochra had allowed himself to get careless. But it seemed that Cress had been looking for something, something that he wasn't getting here.
Ignoring the pressure on his chest, Ochra managed to give the angry saiyan a taunting smile. "You don't...deserve one..." He then closed his eyes, allowing himself to drift off. If Cress decided to finish him off, well, Ochra had already been prepared to die long ago. At least in the end he could give one last 'fuck you' to the arrogant thug. Ochra let out a small sigh, allowing himself to fade into unconsciousness.
And Ochra is out cold. Consider him out of this DE.
All Ochra was able to give him was a grunt at the beginning, but after that the pressure didn't seem to affect him. Had he damaged his nerves so bad that he couldn't even feel pain anymore? Damn, he really wasn't going to be able to continue the fight. What he did seem to be able to do was give him a taunting smile, telling him that he didn't deserve a proper fight. "You still lost.", Cress quickly retorted, only for Ochra to close his eyes and lose consciousness. It looked like he would have to go somewhere else for a proper fight- someone who could withstand an attack like that instead of a saiyan that bit the dust the moment he pulled out his strongest attack. He applied pressure one final time to see if he'd get a response only for him not to get one.
"Damn.", he muttered as he lifted his foot and took a step back, his gaze still remaining locked to Ochra. He held his hand out, his mind telling him to go ahead and kill him. If he had enough energy he probably would have, but the lack of it allowed him some time to reason with himself, deciding to call a medic instead. He pulled a device from his pocket and called one of the various medics who had a means of quickly getting here to come and pick Ochra up, giving them the coordinates. After doing all that he turned and left, leaving Ochra on his own until the medic arrived later. Maybe he'd get up and come after him later? He'd like that.
