Mollusc sat down a large hoe in his hands. Once before when he became lost in life he turned to being a farmer. While it didn't last that long he decided to give it another go. Namek had become his new home and he felt deadest on that fact. It was time he did something other then just wandering around looking for answers. Maybe it was just a second chance giving to him by a higher being. Maybe the day would come and he'd be given an answer but for now he should just enjoy the time. Mollusc got up heading to the small house he made for himself as he grabbed a few seeds and went to plant them into the ground. He would grow some beautiful tree's here. He'd let them grow along with the strength of Namek. Mollusc let out a deep sigh as he looked into the sky. Sometimes he wondered if maybe he could just go back to a different time. Mollusc shook his head. "Namek is my home now don't think of the past." Mollusc said under his breath.

Valan had decided to keep his mystical Namekian disguise of ‘Dolin’ up for a good while since arriving on Namek, there was much more to see, things to learn, and he definitely found it best to do so with as little likelihood as possible of being identified as a Shinjin. For even though it was a rare sight to see a Shinjin at all, those that knew of them would generally attract a lot of attention; both good and bad, which was something that was not at all preferred.
A short while after his meeting with some other Namekians of note, Dolin returned to wandering the fertile lands of Namek, talking to some fellow travelers here and there. Even though he encountered Namekians for the most part, there was an odd abundance of extraterrestrial races that had made their homes here... Apparently some of them had been here for generations, since before the asteroid field was conjured all those many years ago! Now that was interesting news because it showed change on a world that— despite it’s many good qualities— was awfully stagnant at times.
Rather keen to encounter and interact with more of these unique individuals, Dolin hoped about with a spring in his step and soon enough he happened upon a nice little house with a man doing some gardening out front. The guy certainly looked Namekian, but Dolin had but a moment of pause, as if something wasn’t quite lining up. Maybe it was the long whiskers? Regardless, Dolin calmly approached, only just overhearing what the strange farmer said to himself. “Hello good sir of this here farm, I notice you are most un-calm. What sour mood upon you has been cast, to make you lament your now gone past?”

Mollusc looked up as he saw a Namekian approaching him. He never saw him before, he must be a new namekian warrior? That all he could assume from the power he was giving off. He was pretty strong. Mollusc nodded as he asked about why he seemed so uncalm and sour. "That is a good question, my friend." Mollusc mused. "I've lived my life and now I am trying to find my place. Yet I am unsure if I shall ever find it. Dying and returning really had thrown me for a loop." Mollusc explained as he put his hand through his chest. It phased right through before pulling it back. "I am not even alive you see. I am merely a ghost trying to find purpose. Perhaps you'll have some wisdom on the matter?" Mollusc doubted the Namek before him could help much but it was also worth the shot. Maybe someone who didn't fight as much as he did would be able to explain to him how to come at peace.

Thus, a few important pieces fell into place— the reason why Dolin found something odd about the Namekian before him was because he was a ghost! They even shoved one of their phantasmal hands into their own chest! Now if that wasn’t an absolutely metal way to show off one’s ghostliness, that was it! Dolin smiled, finding that act unique and intriguing. “I believe that at your own pace, it will be quite easy to find a place— for home is neither land nor thing, just listen to this idea I bring. Perhaps it is not an oft-thought notion, to find your home you need emotion. Treasure people with whom you have strong ties, and you’ll find home beneath all skies.” Dolin bowed, having offered his sagely wisdom upon the contemplative Namekian’s request.
“Though many a time my rhymes were tested, your spectral trick I must say has me bested. To think I would wander through these lands, and find a man of ghostly hands?” Dolin chuckled shortly after, rhyming really was super fun! “I am Dolin, of much lyrical fame— pray tell good sir, what is your name?”

Mollusc nodded as his fellow Namekians game some thoughts. The home was not just someplace that you could find. You needed to have something to tie you to that place to be your home. Mollusc mused that was why he felt so happy being on Earth or Vegeta before. He had people he cared about. Now those were gone or at least he was not as close to them as before. Now the closest thing he could find to having a life like that was to Namek. It was certainly he wanted to keep in mind. The man introduced himself as Dolin and he seemed to be some sort of man that tried to tie his words together in fancy ways. Mollusc bowed his head. "It is nice to meet you, Dolin. I am Mollusc I hope you are doing good unlike myself." Mollusc gave a light smile. He was quite sure if he was if the man was able to give him such wisdom.

Dolin tilted his head from side to side a few times; thinking about the implications of ‘doing good’ in terms of one’s wellness as opposed to morality like the inquiry would actually mean in his opinion— though he had a feeling Mollusc meant the former, not many thought of the latter. Dolin was of course completely fine, not especially stressed nor was he ill. “Indeed, indeed, all is working as it should, to answer your hope; I suppose I am doing good.” He returned a smile to Mollusc out of good faith. Floating slightly above the ground around the little farm to get a better view of things; Dolin examined Mollusc’s work. “I am intrigued by what you do here in the tended loam, for it is most different to that of my own home. I am not from Namek, if you must know, but I do wish to see how these might grow.”

Mollusc eyed Dolin as he made a mental note he wished to see how these would grow and he claimed he was not from Namek. "Ah..." Mollusc knew where he must have been from then. "You are born on Vegeta I assume then." Wherever else would he be born from? "I can't say I meet you before if you were born on Vegeta. I actually lived on Vegeta for most of my life. For some reason whoever birthed me decided to send me to Vegeta." Mollusc paused in thought. He had never thought about why that would have been the case. It was quite an odd thing for a Namekian to be sent to another Planet. Nothing bad had been happening on Namek during his birth at least to his knowledge. Mollusc knew that would be something to ask Oboe he would know that answer. Mollusc snapped out of the thought he remembered he still needed to answer Valan's question. "I think they will grow well. I've not done this much yet so I am hoping I will be doing it right but we will have to see." Mollusc crossed his arms calmly turning his back to look at his small farmstead a small smile of pride forming on his face.

Dolin raised his brow. Given what Mollusc had just implied, perhaps the scarce rumours were true and Vegeta had it’s own colony of Namekians— allegedly dating back a few hundred years if the grape vine of Otherworld was to be believed. “No, it was not Vegeta that is the place of my birth, it is further still, even further than Earth. Beyond oh so many a star, far from here is where my people are.” In a sense, this was all true, but Mollusc need not know the gritty details at the moment.
“Mollusc, If for a moment you could explain— what plantation is it that you wish to maintain?” Dolin asked, tilting over so that he could closely examine what Mollusc had planted so far, whilst still maintaining levitation— he didn’t want to harm the farm after all.

The man then explained he was not from Vegeta nor Earth. He was from somewhere far away from here. "Huh?" Mollusc rubbed his chin in thought. Was there some other planet he didn't know about where the Namekian people lived. If so he'd love to meet them all. "So what planet is this exactly?" He was quite sure his Namekian brother would be more than happy to give him the answer. Then, of course, the man asked about his farm. "Well, I normally am just growing the trees of Namek. I'd like to have them and maybe replant them one day in the places that are without any life. It would seem to be the most worthy duty I can do for this planet. To bring it all it deserves." He then paused to look over a small patch of the garden. "Over there I'm trying to grow a special type of bean. I think they are called Senzu's Beans. They are supposed to heal you of all damage you take. If war does come to namek, these beans could be very helpful to our cause. To protect namek with its very own life." Mollusc put a hand to his chest happy to think he was doing good for all of Namek.

As luck would have it, the divine one masquerading in a Namekian form did know of at least one world beyond this galaxy with a Namekian population; it was a more rugged world than Namek, but it was nowhere near as harsh or desolate as Vegeta. Last he knew, it was a pleasant planet, and in his heart of hearts, Dolin did hope that was still true. “T’is a world of journeys, adventurers abound— where many a mystery and joy can be found. Beautiful is the land that we roam, ‘Stropoa’ is the world we call home.” Dolin swayed his body and made grand motions with his arms as he regaled Mollusc with the tale of another planet populated by Namekians. “Regrettably I have not been there a time most long, I now venture through space so that I may grow strong.”
Dolin nodded and patiently listened to Mollusc explain his plans for this little farm he had. It was quite admirable that he wished to bring more life to Namek— especially in the more treacherous areas of the planet. The Northern Scar could seriously use a makeover. Something that interested Dolin was the mention of the Senzu Bean. Was it true that they were more common these days? “Oh, is that what you call the Legume of Life, one that can instantly restore someone in times of great strife?”

The man explained the world called Stropa. He had never heard of that planet but he was not surprised. He bet there were a lot of Namekians who had prob gone across the universe at some point. So if there was civilization out there of other Namekians guess he'd have to visit it at some time. He would love to meet other Namekians and see what they were like. When Valan explained, however, that it was quite far Mollusc nodded sadly, "I see it must be quite far from here I assume." Mollusc turned back to his farm rubbing his chin as Valan asked if these were the Legume of Life. He was going to say something back but he was unsure what a Legume was. Mollusc tilted his head looking at the farm. "Yes of course. These beans should be able to heal people but most of the beans I'm planting cannot heal people all that much. They are quite helpful though. To heal minor injures it could help the healers of Namek so they don't always have to use their magic to restore someone to health." Mollusc smiled.

In either case, both the truth and the half-truth would be rather far out of Mollusc’s reach, one more-so than the other given his ectoplasmic form. The Namekian ghost seemed downtrodden at this news however. “Ah, chin up my newfound chum— trust me, there is no need to be glum. Though far from your reach Stropoa might be, you have all the time in the universe to one day go and see.”
Mollusc’s run down of the beans sealed the deal, they were potentially going to be the legendary Senzu alright. “Then they are indeed one and the same— both completely identical, only different in name.” Dolin nodded energetically, increasingly excited at the prospects— it would mean many great things for the medicinal capabilities of mortals. “Mollusc I applaud your efforts, intent most valiant indeed. In future would I find you here still if it is healing that I need?”

"I suppose I have time but I didn't want that time. At first, when I died, I just wanted to stay around but then something brought me back. Sure, now I can live forever but that is not going to make me happy." Mollusc mused. Sure he was happy some days but he always felt empty. There was always something missing in his life. What was his purpose now? To farm for the rest of existence to keep everyone healthy and happy? Sure that was a noble goal but that didn't make him feel alive. He just felt like what he was, a ghost trying to pretend he was still alive. Valan also confirmed that the beans he was farming up were the same as the Senzu beans. "Well, that is a good start then. I was worried that they were not the same. I've not tested any of them since I want the supply ready for any trouble that could be brewing." Mollusc smiled. When Dolin asked if he'd still be here in the future if he needed healing Mollusc nodded. "I should be here unless something happens to me. Namek is my home now after all." Mollusc gave a nod to Dolin.

Dolin tilted his head, trying to understand Mollusc’s problem in greater detail. “I have met many spirits, here and there— but near none of them had a stance so rare.” Mollusc’s perspective was very clearly not the perspective of all revenant spirits, many of them pursued something specific, something that drove them forth— often mindlessly, and without restraint. “Though perhaps in actuality, it is because you retain individuality.” Dolin nodded. “So though your thoughts may be discordant, never forget who you are— tis most important. Chin up friend, not all is bleak. Perhaps it is your true self that you seek?”
Looking over the small farm once again, Dolin grinned wide; if Mollusc was happy with it so far, then it was a notable success in the name of Namek’s progress! “It might be for the best to give them a test. Or at least if you could, quite soon. Then you will know if someone is in danger you can give a healing boon.”

"Yeah, I guess it is a rare stance." Mollusc shrugged. "Maybe I just feel that way cause I didn't die so long ago. Who is to say?" Mollusc was hoping he'd keep the same motivate though. Dolin made a good argument about why he may feel that way since he was still himself. He had not given that up he was still Mollusc. Even if he was no longer in his own body and merely a whisp of the great man he could have been. Mollusc rubbed his chin as Dolin noted maybe he was just looking for his true self. "That may be what I am seeking but it might also be a purpose. Why should I keep moving forward unless I have something to hold onto." Mollusc shook his head sadly. Mollusc then smiled again when they moved back to his Senzu bean farm. It was growing quite well. "Yes I should give them a test but I don't wanna just start eating them to see. I only have so many." Mollusc mused. "But yes I'll have to test them soon. People will need them in the future."
