A full evaluation of her Father’s labs was LONG overdue, the main problem Tanga kept encountering was that every time she actually cleared her schedule enough to go out and check in on another lab, something absurd happened. Usually, it was something fairly simple to deal with ultimately, just frustrating. Several of the labs had not been shut down and had been attempting to continue her Father's work but without any actual direction from him. For a while those labs had kept going fine, they had maintenance robots to handle any issues, the problem lay in when the maintenance droids began to break down themselves or when they ran out of resources to work with. Two hundred years as a LONG time. Those were the easy labs to deal with. Not every lab was easy. The last time she had gone out she had checked only two labs, the first had been fine but also had been a lab of no real consequence, just a backup location where her father could have his body rebuilt. Now it served a similar function for Tanga. The other lab… that had been where she had found Virus. There had been others of course but Virus was the only actually important one. He had taken up quite a lot of her time since then as the transport of everything needed to keep him alive had been a major undertaking especially as he needed to be brought to her personal lab. While Virus had been a tremendous find Tanga honestly was just hoping for at worst a lab filled with renegade maintenance droids trying to begin a machine uprising. The doors to the lab slowly opened to reveal a sight that genuinely left Tanga at a loss for words as a young man knelt within the lab greeting her by her family’s name, but it was not that her identity was known, nor that someone else had discovered her father's lab. It was the image floating behind the man. Her father. The colder calculating parts of Tanga quickly regained control of the situation reminding her that her father had passed on LONG ago and that her scanner indicated that the image was just that, an image, a hologram. Fake. The man knew her name, knew her father, without much else to work with Tanga could only assume this man wanted something from her, had some intention to use her father's past against her. For the first time in ages Tanga’s combat protocols began to activate, her False Life Signal dropping and her eyes glowing a dangerous icy blue “Explain yourself, now!”PL: 4,500

As the figure before him resolved itself out of the outside light, Simon stood. Examining Tanga, he nodded, a smile reaching his lips as he watched her eyes begin to glow blue. Yes, this was wonderful. It was the day he had been waiting for. 5 years of preparing in secret....
"Of course, Ma'am." He gave a quick nod, and spoke sharply but clearly in an even tone, a small smile on his face. "My name is Doctor Simon Cazador. Several years ago, a chance accident lead to me stumbling across this lab, and was told of it's creator and his genius." He indicated the floating hologram, which then spoke.
"Tanga. There is information left here for you. Additionally, this young man has been enlightened to the proper course for this world." It clicked, and mid-way through, the Dr. Breech hologram was replaced by a glowing blue screen just behind it. "I am BIOS, an AI left to care for this labratory. There was an experimental protocol in this laboratory. If an individual should arrive that met the criteria, they would be allowed entry to this lab and no others. Any attempts to access other labs without outside verification would result in the defenses of this one turning against them."
It blinked, and the image of Doctor Breech returned. "It is called... the Apprentice Protocol. A chance for someone to learn from me, though I am no longer present, through the power of technology." Then, it faced Simon. "You know what you have been preparing for." It was not a question.
"Indeed. I have been learning from your father's echoes, researching on my own and taking lessons he prepared to heart. Well... if I still had such a remarkably inefficient organ, anyway...." His own eyes glowed a dull white for a moment, and if one looked closely, they could likely see little lines of code covering them momentarily. "I was told that one day, my teacher's daughter would find this laboratory. So, ma'am.... How may I assist you in curing earth of the little flaws that plague it?" His mind flashed, with that last sentence, to his diseased corpse of a father, his broken mother. He didn't know just how accurate his words were.

Tanga watched the duo intensely her eyes unblinking as she dropped any and all pretense of humanity, as she listened to the man speak she became aware of something that her confusion and anger had initially caused her to gloss over, that the man before her lacked a standard energy signature. The only reason she could even detect anything from him was because of her built in sensors, sensors that were altering her to the fact that at least for the moment this man was not powerful enough to be a threat to her. That alone was enough to make Tanga feel confident enough to continue listening to him, to see what the hell was going on, and while he gave no direct answers the image of her Father spoke up just after he stopped, the voice was familiar the same one she knew from the video he had left her and from several archived logs she had found in the main lab. To her surprise the image made no effort to claim itself to really be her Father, instead explaining that it was an AI set up to maintain the lab and initiate what he called the ‘Apprentice Protocol’ an effort left behind by her father to find someone else similarly willing to take up his mission. The man spoke up again indicating that BIOs had told him she would likely find them. If everything about this duo was true then this was pretty much exactly what she needed, she had been working for quite some time on completing her personal project, derived from Virus to serve as another guaranteed ally in her mission. If this man was as committed to the mission as he and BIOs claimed then he was another ideal partner. But her logs gave no information on the ‘Apprentice Protocol’ meaning it was either a lie, or something that her Father had created after she had been made. “You will have to excuse me while I exercise caution. While you two claim to have been expecting me, I have no knowledge of you or this project. Before we can begin any sort of discussion on my mission and your involvement I need to connect to this lab and verify your claims” the fact that the lab had an AI meant she would need to either force BIOs to give her access or be given it willingly unlike the others labs where her mere presence gave her complete control. Ah, good! She was not so quick to take things for granted. It would have been a bit surprising if he was trusted so easily. Yes, good. "Please, go ahead. While I have access, you are the only individual granted Administrator access. I am here under... Let us call it 'Moderator' status." BIOS nodded as well. Tanga would find that she had full access to the labratory, and all of it's systems.
Simon had accessed some records and folders, to be sure, but there was much that had not been made available to him. Surprisingly, he had not even attempted to access anything that had been locked. There was also quite a lot of security footage. Nothing, for a very long time, and then one day, several years ago, it started abruptly with a young man, very clearly a younger Simon Cazador, entering the lab in a dazed looking state.
There was also, in a place of prominence, a file detailing the Apprentice Protocol and Simon's history. It was intended for this lab only, in the event that someone found it who was not Tanga, but seemed a likely candidate to assist her. The AI left behind would mold the individual, and if it failed, the lab would kill them and harvest their body for materials. Still, it had worked very well with Simon. A Psych profile was included, indicating that he had grown to adulthood with an intense respect for Doctor Breech, and a slightly obsessive compulsion to fix the flaws of mankind.
He was also quite intelligent, and more than a little scheming, but he had never shown an indication of having ulterior motives. No, he was a man loyal to the ideals that BIOS had told him of, and more than ready to serve CURE, not that he was aware of it's true nature. He had suspected, though. One of the flagged files was a list of possible individuals and organizations that could include Breech's daughter. CURE Industries and Tanga were on there, marked as one of the higher probabilities, but with the acknowledgement that it could be a coincidence, and risking the secrecy of the lab was too dangerous to make the first move.
In the real world, Dr. Cazador bowed. "I sincerely hope that you find everything you require to verify my claims, ma'am."

Tanga wasn’t sure if she should be surprised by the fact she was properly granted full access or rather it seemed that she simply needed to request ‘entrance’ through BIOS first once she had it was like flipping a switch as she suddenly had full reign over the systems, she could tell that BIOS himself had fairly high level access but her own superseded even him. In theory she could actually even lock out the AI though what that would even DO to him considering he was integrated into the system she was not entirely certain. For the moment however she would not be testing that out, BIOS was by all indications exactly what he and the young man with him claimed, she found the Apprentice protocol fairly easily and after that the system’s information on who might be her father’s heir. The fact the system itself had not actually been certain of her status meant it was unlikely that Simon or BIOS had been the ones to give her Administrator access, it was simply something carried over from the main lab with her ad the bridge… they weren’t lying, this was not a trick. “Well.. this certainly changes some things. Everything I have found backs up what you two have said.” Tanga said, her voice slowly returning to normal as her combat protocol’s deactivated though remained primed just in case the duo had figured out a way to trick her. “It seems I have more allies for my ultimate goal than I had expected off the bat, this should make things go quite a bit more smoothly.” “You two have some cursory data on myself so that likely means you are aware I have not been using the Aris name, while it has been some time since his passing data still exists on SCAR and at least while building up we will not be making any direct references to my Father’s work in the public eye. At the moment there is only one other who has my trust enough to know any amount of what you already know, keep all information on SCAR and the mission to yourself.” “My only real options at the moment are to place some of my trust in you, or kill you. For now I much prefer the first option, having someone who fully grasps my goals will be good. Do you want to remain in this lab or would you prefer to transition into CURE Industries?” PL: 4,500
