Thread PL: 40,000 | Transformations: Mercurius active for 80,000 PL
Hello, Namek
One moment, Paige had been standing upon the metallic floor of a Konatsian loading bay - and the next, her form was shifted across the vastness of space with the power of Gods. Opening her eyes, Paige placed her hands on her hips, tilting her head up to survey the surrounding area. Demon Sword (which still needed a name) was strapped to her back as per usual, oddly silent throughout the trip. She didn't mind, though, and as the new breeze of a foreign planet blew her hair gently in the wind - she felt reinvigorated. A change of pace from the monotony of Earth was just what she needed.
She wasn't entirely sure where she was going to end up with no prior knowledge of the planet's locations - similar to her first appearance on Earth - but she wasn't particularly bothered by it. She was unable to actually shift herself into a believable Namekian disguise, so it wouldn't matter if she ended up in a city or the wild. It appeared she was in the latter, standing atop the crest of a hill overlooking a natural basin, a small waterfall gushing from the hill's lip. It appeared to be a small peninsula, the hill angled towards the sea and with a great many tall 'pom' trees snaking down it.
Though it wouldn't be of use to studying the planet's population (mostly Namekians, if she recalled) it was a good opportunity to take notes on the flora... and mayhaps simply try to enjoy herself for a little bit before she went wandering off towards the nearest city she could detect. Paige leapt from her perch, floating down and touching the ground below lightly. The basin water was bright and sparkly, and even went into an alcove under the hill to escape the direct sunlight. All in all, a rather nice place if one was exploring or wanted to take a break.
A genuine smile settled on the lesser Kai's face, Paige optimistic that her first day on this new planet would be a good one.

BLUE GRASS AND GREEN WATER
CHROMO'S PL: 1 (SUPPRESSED | 168k BASE)
While the endless meshing of blue and green had become an eyesore for Chromo, this little place was nice enough. Only the bubbling of the waterfall and calls of alien birds met his ears out here. Most of his Lessers had tucked themselves away in the darkness of the alcove, hanging upside-down like bats in it's darkest reaches, snoozing away from the sunlight. Several were headbutting over the remains of a fruit that had fallen into the water while others drowsily floated on their backs. Others tossed around a branch in a game of catch, and a few stragglers sat in the trees to find any berries or other treats as their lifeguard looked on.
Their leader- Chromo himself- rested on a small rock protruding from the waters, eyes lazily-half closed as he bathed in the sun as his swarm's local lifeguard. For once, everything was quiet... Until a sudden glow flashed atop the hill.
In an instant, the hundreds of beetles jolted in surprise, bolting to hide beneath the waters, flounder under or in the rocks, pack in the trees as alarm surged through the hive-mind. Chromo himself was quick to slink into the water and behind his rock as soon as he saw the light. Lights just didn't appear out of nowhere! Was that a ghost? Or some kind of monster?!?
Still doing his best to stay hidden, Chromo warily peeped his head out. There was a... blue person? She wasn't there a second ago. How fast was that lady? It looked like she'd appeared out of thin air! Tarch had competition for the fastest in the universe, it seemed. He was curious, but caution rooted him to his hiding spot.
...Still, as small as they'd suppressed their powers to, there were dozens hiding about. Perhaps Paige would have noticed a faint shine of a chiten shell in some of the trees, or one too many half-eaten fruit cores with gnashes from sharp fangs resting on the shore. It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to know that she wasn't alone.
[UT1] Sugarcoat suppresses Chromo's Power Level to 1. Chromo's Lessers have low NPC-level PLs.

The post-planet arrival glow faded shortly thereafter, Paige finally bothering to take notice of her surroundings. Things that could be chalked up to typical wildlife activity quickly compiled, and to a strange degree. It was expected, perhaps, to find half-eaten foods, trodden grass, or any other sort of disturbances... but the magnitude made her pause. The lesser Kai reached for her weapon, freeing it from its' holster - the blade literally vibrating in anticipation. Paige expanded her Energy Sensing - picking up on an alarmingly large amount of them. They clocked in at '1'... but there were far, far more than their should have been in a place like this. Upon closer inspection, Paige caught the skittering or hidden sight of small, chitinous limbs or body parts.
Taking a step back, she angled the blade towards the alcove with one hand, other at her sight as Paige's eyes flickered rapidly at the surrounding flora. He she accidentally stumbled into something unwittingly? She doubted a group of wild animals (though she had increasing doubt that they were animals) would understand any verbalization of any kind, but it'd be better safe than sorry. "...Hello. Is there something here that can understand me?" Not 'is there anyone here', for she knew that something was. In response to her increasing caution, Paige's aura flickered to visible life - taking a protective coat around her.

CHROMO'S PL: 20,000 (SUPPRESSED | 168k BASE)
Oh god, he'd been spotted. Probably. Chromo found his mind racing as he heard the woman's voice, grasping at straws. Should he respond? Run away? Walk up and say hello like a normal person?! His mouth moved before his mind did. "...CHROMO ISN'T HOME RIGHT NOW." He called from afar, his childish tone trembling, yet oddly boisterous. "LEAVE A MESSAGE AFTER THE BEEP." Genius. She'd never know he was here now. All he had to do was wait this out...
However, a large, alien shark had been swimming about in the pond's depths. It slowly swam to the partially submerged beetle that was trespassing in it's territory, promptly sinking it's teeth into his back. "OWOWOWOW--!!" Chromo jolted, promptly flailing and kicking up a storm of water. The suppression that kept him hidden began to falter, revealing a larger share of his power as he thrashed. The beetle managed to buck the shark off his back, but sent himself flying ashore as well with a burst of ki. Face now buried in the sand from his crash-landing, Chromo would angrily ramble, though his playground swears were muffled by the sand his head was stuck in.
Two of his Imperfect Lessers cautiously skittered out of hiding, pulling at their leader's exposed legs to yank him free of his grainy prison. Sputtering some sand out of his jaws, Chromo shook his head, blinking rapidly to clear his vision. Lo and behold, he'd landed only a few measly meters away from the weird blue lady. "Uhhhhhh... Hi." He clicked his tongue. Now that he was looking at her, she didn't look all that scary. Maybe the speedy thing that phased into existence already left and this girl was someone else. That didn't make this any less awkward. "...Wonderful weather t-today, amirite?"
[UT1] Sugarcoat lessens to up Chromo's Power Level to 20,000.

Paige's face twisted into confusion, the Shinjin dropping her guard slightly as a child-like voice responded to her inquiry. "What?" was all she could manage, lowering Klarenets so the point dug into the Namekian ground below. Recovering from her initial shock, Paige realized that 'Chromo' still haven't revealed themselves. "My 'message' is a request for you to come out." She said dryly, eyeing the cavern. Suddenly, the water erupted in a frenzy of motion and Paige tensed, almost swinging for the flying bug as he came rocketing from his hiding spot. Klarenets stopped an inch short of actually hitting the bio-android, the lesser Kai not really wanting to hurt anybody if she could help it.
A small spike in her senses also revealed to Paige that Chromo's power had gone up. Whether that was a transformation or simply him suppressing his energy, she couldn't quite tell yet. She had been about to have mercy on the bug and pull him free of the sand, when two... more Chromos appeared, doing the job for her. Klarenets hummed, blade alighting in a dim red glow, almost in instinctual response to the small creature. Paige frowned, pushing on the hilt to bury the weapon further into the dirt. "Hello." Came her posthumous reply.
"I'm Paige. Nice to meet you, Chromo." The name felt... weird on her tongue. Like something important was lingering on the back of her mind. The creature's appearance and mannerisms were oddly familiar as well, and Paige couldn't shake the feeling she was missing something. "Oh I agree. After all, it's always sunny on Namek." Paige knew she was indulging in small talk that Chromo was making out of awkwardness rather than politeness, but she tended to be instinctively polite. "What are you doing all the way out here, little guy?"
