Aizu stood on the edge of the landing platform, watching ships come and go across the skies above. Every manner of space ship, from clusters of diminutive one-man pods to great fat-bellied merchant ships streaked by overhead. There weren't many places in the galaxy where you could see so much traffic in the sky. It was one thing he'd miss about Arcose, he thought. It wouldn't be long til they left it behind, one way or another.
The incoming communication alert on his scouter broke that train of thought. He tapped a control and his ears were met with the metallic rasp of a cybernetic Fleet comms officer. "Warmaster, we have secured lines of communication, we are ready to relay your message." The android had a funny way of saying they'd connected his call, but Aizu knew better than to argue with the half-lobotomised operator. Aizu cleared his throat and began:
"Transmission begins: This is Warmaster Aizu. Your immediate presence is requested at the Fleet shipyards in Froz. Report directly to me in the officers' club when you arrive for mission briefing... There will be a free bar and entertainment. Message end."
He waited for a moment in silence, before he heard a click and the cyborg's grating tones resumed.
"Message has been relayed to 6 recipients: Fleet Lieutenant-"
"Yes, yes, very good." Aizu cut the android off before it could read him the full personnel file of everyone he'd sent the message to. "Good work. Now, engage neuralyzer protocols under my authorisation." His voice lowered with that command, and he coolly awaited the cyborg's reply.
"Authorisation confirmed." It said, pausing again for a moment. There was a faint whirring sound. "Initiating memory wipe sequence. Have a nice day." The call ended abruptly and Aizu smiled a little. No trace of that communication remained in the Fleet’s records. He stood thinking about the message and how its recipients might interpret it. The free bar had been a last-minute ad-lib, but he knew that'd appeal to one or two of the reprobates he was after. As he grinned thinking about Gabu's antics in particular, a terrible realisation dawned on his face.
"Damn, I'd better start up a tab."

Multiple things had happened within the past couple of months, and honestly Eve was surprised to receive a transmission so quickly after everything that had happened. Not that it really mattered, especially when she didn't particularly care about the events around her. She mostly just avoided people out of respect and because of the fact she didn't want to see their pouting faces every single day. She didn't want everyday to turn into a living funeral, especially when she had to attend the actual one as well. So when Eve had gotten the transmission she was curious whether or not this was a prank. But at the same time, the free bar sounded appealing. Oh well, she might as well not question it. After all the crap that had happened in her favorite bar that she went last time, she wanted a change of pace.
She made her way as fast as she possibly was able to the shipyard, eagerly as well. It appeared as if she was one of the first to arrive. Of course, Eve had to play it cool with her real motivation for coming here, she couldn't let anyone know her true reason for coming here was mostly to get some drinks, although Eve was starving for entertainment as well. Of course, not of the kind most may believe. She wanted a change of pace in her life, to get off this drab planet where things these days were just pouting and crying. They were space soldiers for crying out loud! They should have just got it over with and moved on with their lives. Hopefully, the Warmaster had a mission in her that could put an end to this dreary lifestyle that she had to endure.
It wasn't difficult to spot him standing on the edge of the landing platform as she would make quite a spectacular landing right in front of him. "I wonder why you called us here," she wondered aloud. "Most people are still mourning over the leader's demise, yet here you are telling us to come here for something. What's happening now?" She hoped that it could be something good. From the last time they've met, Eve did like the way that he acted and went by things. It was direct and to the point, also very exciting. "What type of trouble do you want us to stir up today? Also better yet, where is the bar and entertainment you mentioned, just wondering." She did her best to downplay the last part of her questioning, after all, she didn't want to seem desperate.

Gabu had arrived on scene with booze in his hand and in particular, vodka. He'd make his way over to Eve and give her a slight chuckle. Based on his power reading from his scouter, he could tell that Eve hadn't grown that much just like Gabu.
"Hey, we meet again I see Eve."
Gabu made his way away from Eve and over to Aizu, as he began to drink his vodka and smirking towards Aizu's way.
"Warmaster Aizu, both Ashis and I took care of that mission that one of your assistance had us go to. It was about those mining traitors. It's unfortunate that our fleet has been reduced to enemies wanting to switch sides when things go south.."
Gabu shook his head in disbelief and focused his main attention on finishing up his drink and so it was finish, he sat there on a chair and feeling a bit of a buzz now than when he had arrived.
"Well who else is going to drink huh?"
Gabu croaked to himself and just placing his closed fist against his cheek as his elbow was resting on the bar counter ever so bored and waiting for the others to arrive.

Ashis cooly stood on the edge of a balcony, high above the frosty low-hanging clouds of Froz City. He'd been bored recently, not having all too much to do since the end of the funeral processions. He let out a long, exaggerated huff of air- calmly counting- "... 875... 876- Oh no wait, 877... There was one hiding behind it..." Ashis chuckled, his eyes gazing up at the sky, noting as yet another handful of large freighter-sized ships left the city, exiting straight up into the atmosphere.
Arcose had become a barren, crazed mess in the days following chills funeral. With the reality of chill's death finally sinking in, Many people had started to pre-emptively evacuate, fearing what would become of them once the Saiyans inevitably attacked. Ashis smiled as he watched, He derived pleasure from these sorts of endeavors, watching as people foolishly clung on to what little life they had. He didn't see the point in any of it; From what he had garnered, the arcosians were a generally "not so liked" people around these parts due to their history of being a bit problematic. Wherever they'd go- they'd likely be prosecuted and suffer- so why not just suffer here instead and be prosecuted under Saiyan rule?
Life wasn't all that precious regardless, though Ashis was a tiny bit biased in saying that, seeing as he'd effectively lived hundreds, maybe even thousands of different lives over the past few millennia. His ridiculous train of thought would soon be interrupted, the fancy device Aizu had handed him after the funeral emitting a strange voice. It essentially told him to go meet up with Aizu, which he was more than happy to do- He'd done enough sightseeing for now.
He leaped off of the side, gliding seamlessly down into the streets, and quickly floating his way through the mass of traffic that riddled the area (though it did seem a tad bit less crowded than usual). After a bit, he'd eventually make his way to the bar specified by Aizu, and would enter- Being greeted by an empty room filled with nothing but familiar faces (and the bartender). "Hey buckaroos, what'd I miss- heh" Ashis would announce, shooting finger guns at the group who had gathered thus far, before loudly stomping his way on over to where the group had sat down.
He'd take a quick glance down at Gabu, opening his mouth as if to greet the toad- before noticing what he had in his possession- "... Oh god..." he groaned- having been forced to sit alongside a drunken Gabu once before. It was not an experience he wanted to repeat. He'd quickly turn his attention to Eve, who he admittedly still had a sort of rocky relationship with- "... Hello cake stealer" he greeted, giving her an icy stare before quickly turning away to face Aizu- "And the man of the hour, the boss himself!... to what do i owe the pleasure of being gathered here along with all of these... deplorable individuals..." Ashis asked, a sort of sarcastic tone overlapping with his speech as he addressed the others in the room (also making note of Branch as he later entered, shooting a few finger guns his way as well).

Post by Masu Hiyama on Sept 20, 2019 21:20:03 GMT -6
Lord Chill, the director of the World Trade Fleet, was now long dead, funeral and all. Masu considered it odd that he never met his boss, but doubted it mattered much. In organizations such as this, a new leader was bound to step forward before too long.
The invite the prince received from Warmaster Aizu could very well be an invitation to start walking that path. Plus it had a free bar, so there was practically no reason not to attend.
“Suketo, Aizu invited us to some social thing.” He bellowed, throwing on his coat. “It’s got free booze, let’s go.” Without waiting for a reply, he had already rocketed out the door of their ship, knowing she would most likely follow closely behind.
The shipyard everyone was meeting in reminded Masu of where he had first found his own ship, the very same one he used to essentially kidnap Suketo and escape into space with. Landing, he did a short bow to Aizu. “Warmaster, it’s a pleasure to see you again. I trust you’ve been well?”
After he finished greeting the Arcosian, he quickly spotted a familiar amphibian face. “Lieutenant Gabu!” He called out. “Its great to see you again. I’d offer to buy your drink, but it seems our generous host already has us covered.”
A quick look around revealed another familiar face. One that he was much less…Enthusiastic to see. He seemed to remember her name being Eve. “Hello again.” He stated calmly with a nod. He didn’t feel like starting another brawl with her, especially in front of a higher-up.
The last person was a completely new face. The prince saw it polite to walk over and offer a handshake to the alien. “Greetings, pleasure to meet you. My name is Masu Hiyama.” He said with a forced smile. It was nice to meet a new comrade, but he was eager to get introductions over with so he could make his way to the bar. He wanted to listen to what Aizu had to say, but not with a parched throat.

Post by Suketo Sanichi on Sept 20, 2019 21:51:24 GMT -6
Throughout the past year of being away from Tayona and a part of the fleet, there had been so much insanity. Constant changes in control for multiple reasons, traveling planet to planet and only remaining for a short time, and barely even seeing the battleground except for a couple real missions on this planet. It was bullshit! But maybe today would change that...
Sitting on the couch, Pudge the Namekian frog next to her as she polished her spear, Masu called to her, saying that Aizu invited the two to a social gathering. The last time they had seen him was during their spar. She was about to question it until Masu mentioned free booze. That made Suketo immediately pull her cargo boots and clothes to her, putting them on fast. If there was free booze, she was happy to go. As fast as she could, she dressed and took off with Masu, spear in hand just in case anything happened.
The two landed in a shipyard, and it brought back some... very unpleasant memories. She wanted to punch Masu right now just thinking about that, though she held back as the two walked in, spotting a few fleet members she recognized, and one that she didn't.
"Warmaster Aizu. A pleasure to see you again. And same to you, Lieutenant." Suketo gave a small bow to the two superior officers before her gaze focused on the cat-like alien... Of course she was here. Giving a quick nod to her, she hoped Masu and her would behave themselves. She didn't want ANOTHER bar fight when she just wanted a damn drink. Finally, her attention focused on the newcomer. "And a pleasure to meet you. Any associate of these two is alright in my books."
After all the formalities, she walked to the bar. Not waiting for anyone to get her a drink, she raised her hand, pulling a bottle to her. Since landing here, Suketo became more accustom to the booze on this planet from her many trips to the bars and store to buy liquor, and she learned which were good and which tasted like crap. Taking a drink straight from the bottle, she stuck near Masu, still wondering what they were doing here.

"Yo. Looks like you were all waiting on me, sorry about that." Branch calls out, as he enters the officer's club. He had been napping when Warmaster Aizu's message was sent out, so his eyes were still a bit lazy as he made his way over to everyone. "Afternoon, everyone." Branch says, giving everyone a nod. He turns to Masu and Suketo and gives them a puzzled look. "Newbies?" he questions, before attempting to introduce himself to them with a handshake. "Well, if you're here than Aizu must trust you two, enough. It's good to meet you, I'm Branch."
After introductions, and a finger gun reply towards Ashis, Branch will make his way towards the bar on the other side of Gabu, and wait for the big meeting to start.
