Ever since the princes' return, there hadn't been much to do truly. She was spending most of her time to patiently wait for Riis's conference with some of the other leaders to come to the end. But from what she heard of it so far, it seemed to have slowed to a halt. Because of this, she did have a lot of time to herself. Of course, the prince wanted his privacy and own solitude sometimes so when he wished to have them, Aisise would make her way to other parts of the world. Despite having seen a large chunk of it herself from when she was going on the hunt, this was the first time she would be able to take the time she needed to take it in and enjoy it. Besides, she had a lot in her mind anyways that she particularly wanted to get off, namely the encounter with Ashis.
Aisise's PL: 50,000
Even when she closed her eyes, she could recall the fight and the pain that she suffered from there, not just from the injuries that she had received. She had only barely been able to beat him, out of a surge of power that even she wasn't able to control. If Aisise had trouble going against someone like him, then that meant only trouble. Would she be able to protect him? Those thoughts swarmed across her head the more that she thought about it. She was frustrated, especially with her inability to be strong enough to fight and protect him. What if he was in danger and she couldn't activate this surge of power? It was practically just letting him die and she couldn't let that happen no matter what. But why couldn't she be strong, just for him?
Silently, she sat down on the top of one of the buildings in the Village, letting her thoughts swarm while she observed everything around her. While Aisise knew that it was bad to let thoughts fester, her doubts were something that she unfortunately could not vocalize. It was simply unprofessional of her and expressed her doubts and flaws. No, a guard of the royal prince had to remain strong. Even if she wasn't, the best thing was to do was to bluff and grow stronger so she would be able to support those words of hers. As difficult as it was, it was the only road for Aisise to follow. She couldn't complain either, especially when this was something that she chose for herself. This was the path of the royal guard.
