There was a saying about the dead: “The dead do not hurt you; only the living do.” For the most part, this was true. A corpse wasn't going to get up and start beating the hell out of any random person who happened upon them. But, apparently, this did not apply to ghosts. For whatever reason, they were really not keen on being dead and really, really, really didn't want to go back to Otherworld where they belonged. And, as Ryce could now plainly see, they could most certainly hurt you, a fact made very apparent as the semi transparent creature in front of them sent Almon flying back into a wall. The oldest Reville grunted as his body crashed into wood, causing a section of the building to come crashing down on top of him. "I'm not gonna go back! You...you can't make me go back! I'm not dead!" the specter cried out, his voice shrill and desperate. It tugged at Ryce's heart strings and, normally, his own empathy would cause him to let the poor man go. But he couldn't do that. He had forced himself to forget the name the ghost man called himself and simply refer to him as the same thing that the flier had: The Tombstone Torturer. The ghost had managed to escape from the afterlife and, in his delirious state, he had gone back to a familiar place, the house he had, at one point, lived in. The only issue was, another family had since moved in and the specter had not taken to that notion very well. He had begun to haunt the poor family, driving them to leave their house and seek out help from anyone who would offer it. One thing lead to another with Tartarou sending his children out to go handle the issue. Almon complained as usual, citing the fact that the ghost was, in fact, not real, with Srimpee and Ryce insisting they check it out anyway. Currently, Almon was eating his own words, along with a mouthful of drywall. The ghost man was still babbling incoherently as Almon dug his way out of the building material, his red eyes seething with anger. "Alright, time to send this bastard back the hard way," Almon growled, his canines already extending into fangs and the hair on his head, forearms, and eyebrows growing wild and thick as his muscles bulged. Srimpee and Ryce nodded towards their brother, they themselves concentrating for a moment as their own forms bulged with muscles and wild hair. Ryce's unnaturally blue eyes glared at the ghost man, though the look in his eyes grew more angry than sympathetic. Instincts buried within him were beginning to surface, making his desire to defeat the ghost less about doing what was right and more about sending the escaped spirit back to where it belonged. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The ghost proved to be less of a threat than it at first seemed to be. It hadn't taken long for the three Revilles to pin the ghost down before calling in the Otherworld taxi, this time coming as an Otherworld police car, and sending the ghost back off to the afterlife. The three siblings sat on the steps of the house, sipping from a few water bottles the Ogre cop had given them. "So, Dad wasn't wrong about the whole 'ghost hunter' thing, huh?" Ryce commented, prompting a laugh from Srimpee and a small chuckle from Almon. "Maybe he isn't so full of it," Almon agreed, sipping on his water again with a small smirk on his face. Cadenza wasn't much for ghost stories...but she did recently take a liking to ghosts thanks to some movies she had watched recently. Beforehand, Cadenza was quite the scaredy cat when it came to the paranormal like ghosts and demons ironically, but with the warm hearted movies she exposed herself to showed that even the ghosts in horror movies weren't so bad. So you'd think other people would be enlightened to such a discovery when watching such movies- even if they weren't real and just actors; you'd be moved to have compassion for the dead even if they were roaming around places they shouldn't.
But of course life was never that easy, so much was evident when Cadenza'd catch some person just assaulting ghosts to send them back to Other world. Cadenza had only been flying by, but she just so happened to hear that cry of desperation. If Cadenza had been anymore furious she'd probably be blood red. "Super..." Cadenza would start as she flew down toward the culprits of the ghost cries with her arms open, aiming to grab one of them from behind and put them in...a "overpowered FULL NELSON!" Cadenza would shout just as she believed to catch one of the kids in her grapple, seemingly the one talking about ghost hunting.
Cadenza would have a stern look on their face, confronting the ones responsible for this ghost harassment. "You've really gone and done it now..! Ghost are people too you know, I don't see either of you with a licence saying that you were allowed to take action against these defenseless creatures- where do you get off being the way you are..." Cadenza attempted to flip Ryce across her lap like a child about to get a spanking...wait was she-.
"Ten thousand years of punishment!" Cadenza shouted as she pulled her arm back ready to pound a firm beating into the backside of the ghost buster.

What a day it had turned out to be in Central City. The sky was clear and the sun was shining brightly at this time of day, and yet the supernatural and paranormal still decided to show up all over the place. When one died, they were thought to stay dead, but apparently that wasn't the case for a few that just hadn't accepted their fate just yet. This was unfortunate for many people, including the family that got driven out of their own house by one of the pesky spirits. Before they left, they attempted to get help from their neighbor that lived right next door to them, but as always he was busy and rarely ever came home. In fact, today was the first time he had slept there in weeks. Feeling more comfortable than he had been for a while, the man stayed in his bed for hours longer than he was supposed to, and only woke up due to a loud crash that he heard outside.
"What the hell is going on out there?" Brock had wondered aloud, sitting up on his mattress and getting his arms from under the covers to rub his eyes so that he could see things properly. A few moments later he found himself getting up and and heading straight out of his room, through the hall and down stairs to check up on whatever it was that happened beyond his residence Opening the front door, he walked right out in his all-dark blue onesie with a hole in the back for his tail to come out. All he had to do was glance to the left to see his neighbor's house half destroyed, three young Saiyans (or at least that is what the old man thought they were, seeing as their tails stuck out of the seat of their pants) sitting on the porch of the house, and a majin attempting to hold down one of them. Brock closed his door behind him and began walking across the grass field that separated the two buildings and towards the group very slowly, afraid of what crazy antics they'd have in store for him. Of course, he was ready to deal with them if the need arose. His training has gone well lately in his opinion.
"Uh, what are you children doing around my friend's place? Do I need to call the... well actually I would probably do a better job than them in this situation," Brock asked them with, hinting at a threat. He looked confident now with a smirk on his face.

Ryce thought it was almost too good to be true to see his brother smile and laugh along with him and Srimpee. Almon was usually such a sourpuss when it came to just about everything, so to see him lighten up, even after he was sent crashing into a wall by a ghost. It gave him hope that maybe one day he and his brother could put aside their silly rivalry and act like brother's should. Deep down, Ryce knew his brother deeply cared about he and Srimpee or else he wouldn't always be with them or fighting alongside them so readily. He had a unique way of showing his love for his siblings, though Ryce still wished they could still act like friends all the time...
Ryce wasn't given very long to reflect on his brother's nature when he felt two very soft and very pink arms lock up under his shoulders. Almon and Srimpee were already on their feet, water bottles splashing all over the ground as Ryce looked back at whatever was holding him as they shouted about ghosts being people, too, or some other nonsense. The youngest Reville's mind was processing what was going on as he was flipped onto his stomach in a very familiar position. A position he swore he would never find himself in again. His eyes narrowed, his gaze becoming harsh as his eyebrows and hair grew wild and thick again and his canines extended back into fangs. His entire body bulged with muscle as an angry growl rippled out of his throat. His tail moved quickly, wrapping around the person's arm to stop its downward motion before he quickly pushed off of her lap and moved to wrap one hairy, meaty hand around her neck before aiming to slam her head into the concrete.
"The dead belong with the dead in Otherworld," he snarled, his fangs bared with one hand cocked back to continue his assault. "You're an idiot if you think you have any idea of what you're talking about, but I can teach you first hand exactly what it's like!" The words came out in a snap of pure instinct with Ryce not even realizing what he was really saying in the first place, but Srimpee took notice and quickly stepped forward.
"Ryce, calm down and don't do anything you'll come to regret. It's just a misunderstanding and we'll get it all sorted out," Srimpee said, her voice soft and soothing. Ryce glared at her for a moment, his breathing still heavy and angry before his sister's face registered. Steadily, his breathing slowed to a normal pattern and the anger cleared his eyes. He blinked in surprise, looking at his own hands in confusion for a moment before looking at the person, a Majin girl, before it clicked.
"Ah! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" the young hybrid said, his cheeks hot with an embarrassed blush as he repeatedly bowed to Cadenza. An almost ridiculous sight given he still caught halfway between a human and a gorilla. "I didn't mean anything I said, I swear!"
"Holy shit, Ryce, I didn't think it was possible for you to get angry," Almon said quietly, giving his younger brother an approving nod, which was answered by an annoyed glare from Srimpee.
"Do not encourage that," she warned before looking back at Cadenza. "Please forgive my brother's aggressive outburst. Sometimes he can't keep a lid on his instincts," Srimpee smiled warmly before noticing another person, an older Saiyan, approach the group. "Ah, in just a moment, sir! We will happily explain ourselves if you give us a little of bit of time to get our facts straightened out." Ryce nodded hearily in agreement, trying his best to make a friendly smile with two fangs protruding from his mouth.

Cadenza had a bad boy in her lap, a bad boy! Discriminating against ghosts just because they weren't in dead places? This ogre was about to check his own privileges! Or at least she thought, that was until the the ogre boy began a hideous transformation and aimed to wrap his big meaty arms around Cadenza's neck and press her head into concrete...wait concrete? Weren't they in a jungle!?
Oh well, once Cadenza's recovered from her head being pushed into the ground she'd struggle to pull her head from the small crater it created until finally pulling loose! Once she did, everyone would see despite the small bruises around her soft pink flesh her glasses remained unharmed- totally not because she replaced them as soon as her head got loose! Looking around the children for the one that assaulted her- preparing for a fight because she was arguably in the mood to have one would only find apologies being thrown her way. The majin would lower to set her feet on the ground before propping her hands up on her hips, allowing the apologies to continue- as the damn demon...ogre thing should know his place in front of a genius such as Cadenza.
She'd turn her head to the second child who had been excusing her demonic brothers outburst with open arms. Brushing her no...well brushing the air over where her nose would be she'd push her head higher up and scoff at the kids. "It's okay, I'm a majin and tend to take damage more easily- so I'll forgive your brother since no real damage was done...BUT!" Cadenza said leaning in close to all three of them, pointing a finger upward as she did so. "You need to be more careful! If I were anyone else you could have shattered my neck! and then what would apologies do!? Really, kids these days need a class president like me to keep them in their place...but i guess you three aren't that bad."
Cadenza would extend two hands and one elongated antenna. Using one of her arms to pat Almon's head, her other arm to pat Srimpee's and her antenna to pat Ryce's. She'd turn to look at the newly arrived saiyan with a raised eyebrow, moving to stand between the saiyan and the kids. "Stay back, children- this is what they call 'stranger danger'"

Brock was now finding it hard to keep up with the group of four that he found right outside his neighbor's home. Two of them seemed to tussle for a bit before things had settled down and apologies were given, along with a promised explanation that he was waiting to hear. During this time the old geezer would look questionably while folding his arms against his chest and going through his beard with right hand's knuckles.
During their short show of strength, he realized that these Saiyans weren't just saiyans at all. The one that retaliated against the majin seemed like a completely different person when initiating his assault, in both body and mind, in Brock's observation. He knew of hybrids that shared the blood of his race and another, but wasn't sure if he had ever seen something exactly like this, where the person's muscles would grow and fangs would be present. The senior took note of this for future reference, perhaps asking the kid about it when the time called for it.
And now the majin was trying to act like a teacher to the teens, lecturing them and even turning her now-motherly attitude onto Brock. For some reason she let the trio know not to get anywhere close to this strange man in a blue onesie. The retired warrior didn't like the sound of that, as if HE was the one that no one should get near in this situation.
"Uh, excuse me, but I'm not the one destroying property or wrestling with children. I am just a hard working citizen checking up on his friends' stuff, which seems to be broken by strangers," Brock retaliated against the pink woman's words, narrowing his eyes while glaring into hers. He wasn't usually serious, but such a situation called for it in his opinion. Nothing was making sense to him right now so it needed to start soon before he got protective of his community.

Cadenza wasn't really sure what the white haired man was referring to by "his friends" property, nor did she really care actually. As far as she was concerned she gave the proper scolding to the delinquent kids and for the most part it seemed like they learned their lesson for the time being. Letting out a puff of pink air Cadenza simply shrugged off the entire situation. "I don't know what you are saying, but man it sounds boring, I'm just going to see my way- somewhere else, I hope you figure out this whole deali-o of yours dude"
She would say before hopping into the air and flying off without another word. Cadenza could probably think of a million better things to do than stay here with whatever you'd call the situation.

Brock decided to just go back to bed after the Majin left, telling those kids to scram or else he would call the cops. They could come back later and explain what happened to him then cause he was still too tired to care. So yea, exiting.
