The Lookout was... very large. This was common knowledge, to those who walked it's tiled floors on a regular basis. Sometimes, the corridors felt like they stretched for miles and miles. One could find themselves lost in the narrow corridors and pathways beneath the surface for hours on end if they weren't careful, and many a mystical relic lie within the bounds of the Forbidden Reliquary that Tysco, Daruma and Chime kept under lock and key.
This was all very impressive, but for the two people solely responsible for keeping the damn thing clean, this was a thorn in their side. It didn't help that the resident pint-sized wishing dragon had let out a jar of cursed dust that seemed to cake the tunnel ways in months of dust within only a few days, and that his magical talents lead to a surprising amount of food-based 'clean-up-on-isle-three' situations.
But today was the day that changed.
In a stroke of combined genius, Daruma and fellow custodian Cobalt had struck upon a golden idea, so simple, so easy that they were surprised they hadn't conjured the thought in their mind sooner. A roomba! Well, not an ordinary roomba, for sure. They'd need something a little more powerful than any plain old battery operated cleaning disc to keep something so mystically charged in a clean state.
But the idea was there. And so, Daruma had hit up the same Wizard he'd called to get Wireless, Electricity and Plumbing hooked up at the Lookout for assistance. It had taken a few weeks, but Daruma was excited. From the box, he withdrew a large gilded disc with two black sensor-spheres on top that looked a bit like beady little eyes, that sizzled with the distinct pop of magical suds beneath it. Amazing! Surely, this would do.
"Cobalt!" Daruma shouted down into the deeper byways of the Lookout from the stairs in the living area, calling for his friend's attention. "It's here! The roomba! Come in here, I wanna try it out!"
