Typha crossed his arm as Yudi swung his sword in the air. "So that is the form you use?" Typha asked cautiously. Yudi shrugged. "Sometimes I think it really helps with my speed." Typha shook his head. Yudi was not a bad swordsman but he needed to work on his skills still. "We can work on this later I need some food." Typha grinned as Yudi followed. "Well at least i'm getting better soon i'll be half of you." Typha grunted. Yudi had not grown much in strength maybe he was a bad teacher? Then again Yudi had been very lazy. He barely worked on his own. Typha could help his skills but growing stronger was up to the ogre Samurai. Typha walked into town looking around for a place to eat but nothing caught his eye. Maybe getting spoiled in the afterlife would doom any love of food he could have. Typha sulked for a moment but then picked up a strong power near by. "Hmmm?" Typha mused as he motioned for Yudi to follow as the two them headed towards the large power that seemed to be in Ginger town. He wondered who it could be just sitting around here?
Thread PL: 35,000 | Items: Spacepod, Blutz Generator, Scouter For all her abrasiveness and distaste for her kin's culture, Amara was still a Saiyan at heart. And by 'at heart', she meant 'at stomach' - because it seemed that the warrior race all shared the unfortunate curse of a voracious appetite. Curse being used loosely, as being able to consume more than a bowl of tasty snacks without getting full was most certainly a benefit. However, Amara this time around was searching for more than just filler energy to tide her rumbling stomach over. She wanted to try something new! Which, in retrospect, Ginger Town was probably not the best place to do so, but she had been here already on a job the day prior.
Unfortunately, most of the places to eat were the fairly standard affair. Mostly consisting of noodles, burgers, pizza, or burlizzoodles. Her searching was not in vain, however, and by the will of fate Amara had stumbled across a place that claimed to be a local specialty; In front of her was a lunch cafe, on which a sign proclaimed they sold ginger-based recipes. Well, if any place had the best ginger-based anything, it'd probably be Ginger Town. Amara shrugged and headed inside, glancing around at the moderate little shop.
Typha and Yudi landed. Typha looked around as he spotted who had the large power. It was a saiyan woman from the looks of things. Typha didn't get a good look since she went into someplace to eat. Typha shrugged he was pretty hungry. Yudi looked back at him. "Ashi won't be happy if you go following her," Typha grunted. Yudi liked to get under his skin from time to time. He didn't understand why he thought she cared for Ashi in such a matter. She was a pain in the ass. Typha entered the store and looked around. It smelled pretty good inside. Typha took a few more steps walking over to Amara. If he was going to enter the same store he might as well introduce himself. Typha looked at Amara. "Sorry to disturb you. I sensed your powerlevel when I came here I didn't expect someone so strong around in Ginger town. Seems a place not many people would want to go too. I would think most people would be out exploring the citys looking for someone strong to fight or maybe meet someone." Typha laughed. Yudi looked at Typha. That was not how you said hi to someone he'd show him but he also had no idea how to do such a subtle practice.

"Huh?" Amara swung around, jarred from her thoughts by the doorbell tinkle and arrival of a pair of people. "Oh, yeah, I guess its' not every day that warriors visit this little place. I'd usually fall into the latter categories I guess, but today I'm just a tad tired and hungry." Amara flipped the lens on her scouter forward, taking a quick read of the pointy-eared man and his blue compatriot. Eyes widening, she tapped the device more than once to make sure it was working. "Yeesh, talk about strong people and here you are. Almost a hundred and fifty thousand."
The blue man wasn't quite so nearly phenomenal, but still better than most of the people she'd met in the local area. "And a modest one of five thousand. You his student or something?" She asked, directing the question towards Yudi. A throat was cleared, and Amara turned to realize that the worker had been waiting to take her order. "Put a pin in this conversation for a moment, if you would. I'm going to go order." The Saiyan turned back around, striding up to the counter and selecting a copious amount of sustenance. A wad of Zeni was handed over the counter to pay for it all, and Amara went to slide into a seat in-between the register and door.
"You here for something to eat, too?" The former mercenary asked, stomach rumbling as her stuff was prepared. "Or did you just get a feel of my Power Level and wanted to check it out?" She wouldn't be offended, honestly. Like the guy said before, it wasn't every day that people like them passively wandered a place like Ginger Town.
Typha nodded he was glad he didn't make things odd. He bet she wanted to be at peace and then he just walked over and began to try to talk. Then she checked her scouter and guess she did have a point. She was not that strong compared to him. He was nearly one hundred fifty thousand. He was stronger than almost anyone across the entire universe. Still, Typha knew they are many people stronger than him and she was still stronger than almost anyone you could find just walking around. When she asked about Yudi Typha shook his head. "He is my sworn sword. I guess it hard to explain." He was unsure if he should explain there was an afterlife and he was trained by a god who watched all of the north galaxies. Yudi nodded. "Yah sworn sword not much yet but one day I bet i'll be his equal." He'd laughed. Then she made a note that she had to order her food. When she came back and she asked him what he was doing here. Typha nodded when she spoke about the later. "Yes, I just wanted to see the power. I always want to make sure nothing bad is going on. Even if I'm really strong if you wanted to do bad you could easily cause a lot of damage if. Not to say you would do that I just always want to be in the right place if something like that did happen." Typha shrugged.

"Hard to explain." She repeated, glancing curiously at the Ogre. "Well, your friend there does remind me of this other guy I met... Yansomething. Except he's blue instead of red." They didn't really seem like Aliens at all, though Amara had nothing else to call them besides such. It was odd, and even the duo before her seemed to be skirting around the topic. Even so, she let it drop. Prying information out of strangers was something the Silver Maiden did - not Amara. She didn't need to know everything about her surroundings anymore. Yudi was confident if nothing else, proclaiming he'd be the pointy-eared man's equal.
"It's a long journey to match a Power Level like that." She quipped, leaning back in her chair. "If you're determined, you can do it. Or something." The Saiyan shrugged. "I was never very good at the whole motivational speaking thing." A server interrupted her, placing a plate of steaming ginger-based food in front of her - a glass of water following shortly after. Amara murmured thanks, taking a bite out of a small ball of ginger. "Meks sansh." The woman said in-between chewing.
Swallowing, she at least had the wherewithal to look a bit embarrassed. "Er, what I meant to say was - I get it. You're one of those heroic types, yeah? Protecting the place from the forces of darkness or whatnot." She leaned back, tapping a fork against the table in thought. "I doubt many evildoers would make a move on Earth unless they were confident they could actually go up against the jacked defenders that watch over the place, though. Small-time crime, maybe, but somebody like me trying to start something?" She waved a hand in the air dismissively. "We'd get wrecked in an instant. Not that I personally want to do 'evil' things, but you get the point."
"Hmmm?" Yudi rubbed his chin when Amara made the claim she meet another small ogre before who was read. He was Yan...the last part she didn't know but he might have had an idea. Yudi looked at Typha. "I might know who that is but it's on the tip of my tongue you know?" Typha shrugged. He had no idea who this Yan could be. He never meets a little red ogre. Maybe he would meet this person in the future if he was an ogre-like Yudi. When she made the point that if he worked hard Yudi could catch up to him Typha smirked. "That his problem he does not work hard." Yudi crossed his arms. "I do too. I do my push up's, sit up, squats and my run every day." Typha grunted. "But that training is for a normal human to get in top shape your already way over that level." Typha shook his head. Yudi had a long way to go.
Typha looked on confused as Amara tried to speak again while stuffing her mouth with food. He had no idea what she had been trying to say and he honestly was a bit annoyed. Maybe it was from his birth and being raised to have mattered but eating like that was a bit of an odd concept to him. Guess it was the Saiyan's appetite at work. As to her question he smiled. "I'd not call myself a hero but yes I like to stop people from committing evil acts on those who cannot defend themselves," Typha explained. As for her point about people being wrecked before they could do anything Typha nodded. That was quite true most of the time someone would be there to stop them but they were not invincible nor fast enough to always stop bad things from happening. He'd rather be fast enough to stop all of that. That why he had to keep getting stronger. "Yeah please don't start doing bad things I'd not want to stop you." Typha smiled.

"I dunno," Amara said thoughtfully, swallowing another piece of ginger. "It might be different for blue horned dudes, but I haven't done all that much besides normal-ish workout routines and I... well, compared to where I was when I first got on this planet, my growth has been pretty explosive." She crossed her legs, a thought crossing her mind. "Well, that may be the result of forcing a limit on myself to not get stronger up until recently. It was like popping a cap off, and every day I wake up to find myself even more powerful than I was the day before." It was... a bit alarming, honestly.
Typha was quick to dismiss the notion of him being a Hero, which was a bit odd. "Well, based on what you've told me unless you have some grimdark broody backstory or something, you pretty much fit the perfect dictionary definition of a Hero. Far be it from me to label a stranger I've just met, but if you're as altruistic as your actions suggest, you're a pretty nice guy." Amara leaned back, sipping some water before chuckling. "Pfft, yeah I getcha. I won't go around blowing up Ginger Town or something, that'd be dumb."
Yudi looked at Amara. "Nah it sounds like an ogre for sure. Or maybe it is a demon. Either way, I'd like to see what it is so I can either beat him up or say hello." Yudi laughed as Typha looked over at Yudi. "It seems your not very flexible on that are you?" Yudi nodded before looking back at Amara his arms crossing over his chest "Normal training!" Yudi was shocked she could have gotten a lot stronger just be doing everyday workouts. Clearly there was some magic afoot. "Typha clearly your not teaching me the right things." Typha shrugged. Maybe that was true but he also knew some people had the potential to grow very fast. When he in Heaven with King kai his power by the end of that time had grown to a far higher level then he could ever muster before that time.
Typha nodded when Amara made the claim unless he had done something bad in his past then he fit being a hero. "You hit the nail on the head. I did a bad thing and that leads to everything that I'm doing now. It a long story." Yudi interrupted. "That you don't like to tell. Your so unoriginal Typha. You need to watch some movies to spice up your inventory of words." Typha grunted in annoyance though he supposed learning more words was never a bad idea he just knew going to the movies he'd be paying for everything and that was not a fun time for the prince. "As long as you don't go causing trouble you should be fine. I already got enough to worry about running around chasing someone who thinks it fun blowing up towns is not really going to be having my patience."

"I guess it's more to do on a per-person basis," Amara stated, shrugging. "As I said, even I'm surprised that I suddenly got spikes in my Power Level gain. Perhaps it was more of a mental barrier than a physical one..." The Saiyan took another forkful of her food, savoring the unique flavor before designating an untouched ginger-tot on the plate with the prongs of her fork. "If either of you wanna try this stuff, it is surprisingly enjoyable." Standing up, Amara stretched - finished with her meal. She wasn't terribly hungry anymore. Perhaps it was always the philosophical conversations she ended up having with everyone around her.
"Ah, so you do have some sort of shady past." She shrugged, seemingly indifferent. "So what? It doesn't mean you can't change how you act now. Kinda like me. I was basically a destitute vagabond for the past ten years, and now I'm training again because I have a purpose." Amara paused, brows furrowing. "If you had seen me twenty years ago, I might be like the type of people you're describing. Randomly violent, chaotic, angry. That's how I used to be." Sighing, she ran a hand through her hair. "Well, that's enough self-reflection for today. I think I'm gonna go. Unless you need something else?"
"Yeah, I bet it is." Yudi crossed his arms. Typha shrugged, she must have been in a lot of fights. He did hear that Saiyans could grow quickly in power thanks to Zenkai boosts. Though he was not going to ask if that was what she had been doing. He just doubted she had just been working out. A few spars would have been in that diet. He really did need to get Yudi someone to fight. He was a bit too weak to help him since of his overwhelming strength. He would be able to grow much faster if he had someone to spar with on a daily basis. Typha could only do so much for his friend. He'd looked at the food she was trying as she made a note that was quite good. Typha waved his hand. "Maybe another time I should be ok for now," Typha explained. Yudi looked at Typha. "But I want some." Typha nodded. "Maybe in a bit I don't want to just stop this conversation." That would be quite rude they could wait a bit to get some food.
Typha nodded as Amara asked if he had some sort of Shady past. "I'd not say, Shady. I just made a mistake something that cannot be fixed by any means." Typha calmly stated as he thought back to the days on Konats when the machines rampaged and nearly destroyed his whole home. Typha nodded as Amara explained her own life. Guess she had been a rough and going type in her younger years. She didn't look that old to him but he was not going to be rude and ask about her age. That was one of the few things you didn't ask a woman about. Despite his ignorance of those norms he at least knew that much. When she made a note that she about to Typha waved his hand. "No questions as I said before I came to see if there was trouble since I've found their no worry about that then I don't need much else." Typha bowed his head to Amara.
