It was with listless eyes the Paige stared out across the Namekian lake, sparkling green water glistening in the midday sun. A subdued breeze was blowing on and off rustling the grass and pushing the frayed end of Paige's scarf unto her lap. The Shinjin was seated upon a natural crest which overlooked the body of water, the area devoid of much life besides the plants and the god that sat upon it. "Woe is the Shinjin who feels boredom." She muttered, slowly kicking her legs to and fro over the edge. "For what attendant is worthy of such a feeling? They would tell you none, yet it is from experience that I assure thee that the feeling is found in all sentient things."
What exactly was the blue girl doing on such a day in such a place? Communing with someone via magical means in a place that secured privacy? No, for Paige was doing something far more simple. "And still, I know that my very being was cultivated and chosen for tasks such as this. Who am I to shirk?" Well, as simple as inner reflection could be. "Nearly a full month's time has passed upon this planet, and I drag my feet like a petulant child."
To her side was Klarenets, pulled from its sheathe just enough to expose the blade to the light above. It was quiet today, for better or worse, sitting inert at her back and upon the ground rather than the constant stream of vibrations and weak emotions it usually shared with the Shinjin. "Have I even sinned without knowing?" Paige said softly, picking up the sword beside her with great care. "Was my duty to dispose of 'evil', not reform it? Is a Shinjin who does not watch an enforcer, or are they meant to do nothing at all?"
