Freezing Frenzy Sanbu's PL: 64'000
Piece by piece things in the world were built, construction, at least in the civilized sense was but a perversion of what it really meant to erect things. Nothing happened rapidly and eratically but more so slowly and steadily. As with the formation of the planet so did the Yunzabit Heights take time to become such an elaborate piece of nature. While to some an unremarkable mountain of snow and rock, to Sanbu this was anything but such a poor description. More was here than what remained on the surface and he'd not pass up the opportunity to gaze upon its truth with unfaltering regard. "And to think, this entire sierra took multiple of hundred of thousands of years for this take to shape and I've lived for not even a mere fraction fraction for the duration of its existence. Worrisome that feeling is but no matter. Every great peak has its humble beginnings somewhere, once upon a time this was likely unadulterated land until gradual tectonic activity caused that all to change. Every pebble, portion of snow they all came together through the ongoing process called time to form one remarkable piece of organic architecture. " To be a part of such a monument if only for this moment gave the Majin a prideful feeling he'd come to know well. Having been both born and raised here under the tutelage of his clan. A tribe which claims the name Kapsa; remote group of Majin martial artists who made use of the element of fire to defend themselves and remain warm and protected under the chilly climate that lay waste to Mt. Frappe. For some a crippling chill but for Sanbu it was a day like any other in his eyes. Having himself set on a stroll through the harsh alpines as he always did. While home life entertained him temporarily it was really the hikes he occasionally took that brought him most pleasure. The quiet, the tranquility, the moments without disturbance they were all alluring to him. Alone in his thoughts while he braved the frigid and uncaring wilds of the montane terrain. Scaling the mountain proved to be a difficult task, no matter how many times he did so the challenge never ceased to remain. Every fiber in his body worked together as one while he ascended the icy surface. There were a numerous amount of steps leading to the top and it appeared that it only got steeper every year with the continual stacking of wintry precipitation. With his gaze honed in the on the top of the mountain, Sanbu knew too well that there was a long way to go if he were to reach the top. A fierce hailstorm was brewing and he didn't know if it was letting up anytime soon. <Time will only tell, I suppose.> With a look of bold determination on his face Sanbu continued on his march as an aura of fire began to gather around his body. All snow nearby melting around him as a set solid stone stairs quickly revealed themselves beneath his feet. They stopped after a certain point but the way in which sleet was covering the rest of the path implied that there were stairs to be found if he simply melted the rest of them as he continued to make way for the peak. "So much easier to walk when you've actually got a foothold. Feels like I've been hours that I've been on this path, have I made mistake hiking on a day like this? A storm's truly been building and there's only so much further I can see without making use of a.. secondary means." Sanbu's skin began to grow porous as flames shot out of various parts of his body, his fiery aura thawing away at all the ice and snow in the recent vicinity as the hail around him quickly turned to water. "Strange, a day like this is never usually this quiet. Perhaps I'm not looking hard enough."

Bloom’s PL: 90,000 | 270,000 Ki Suppression: Active (Reads as 5)
Bloom was slowly getting more and more worried about her melty condition. That was what she was calling it. She didn’t really want to bother her parents with it, and Mumbo and the other goons were out traveling places. She didn’t really have anyone to turn to. Except maybe a doctor, but her parents had to drag her when she was a kid, and she would be damned if she went to a doctor willingly now. So, instead of that, Bloom had thought up her own solutions. She had read on the internet or maybe it was in school that liquids didn’t get melty at colder temperatures. Cold didn’t bother her anyway, but she figured it might help her whole condition. That was her reasoning for napping on the summit of Mt. Frappe. If she were human, she would have frozen to death by now. Fortunately, she very much was not. Opening one eye, Bloom squished her arm between two fingers. Not too melty. Maybe this would work. Huh. Wait a second. Who was that? Bloom sat up in the snow, still sort of blending in thanks to being a white majin. She sensed someone headed up the mountain. What weirdo aside from herself scaled mountains for fun? Getting up, Bloom stuck her hands in her pockets and went over to the cliffside where she sensed the approaching person. She could just make out some kinda fire aura thing around what looked like another majin. Huh. She was about to call out to see what he was up to when a wave of weakness hit her. “Not now…”But it was happening now. And it was worse than it had ever been. Usually it was an arm that went all melty. This time, however, it was a whole half of her body. Bloom toppled over the edge of the cliff as her leg went out from under her. She hit the ground with a resounding splat. It was easy enough to reform the half of her body that was listening to her. The other half not so much. Bloom sighed, but then remembered the other person on the mountain. It was a majin. Maybe they had seen this before? Worth a shot. “Hey….! A little help over here….?!”

Sanbu's PL: 64'000
Quicker than he could've foreseen so did he manage to achieve one of the aims of his trek, reaching the top of the mountain in quick fashion. Making it to the summit of what was arguably one of the tallest geographical points of the entire planet. There were scarce sights that actually had beauty comparable to what he was staring at just now and he'd make sure not to waste the opportunity. Every hike was an experience in and of itself and to have such a satisfying payoff made it all the more worth it to him. Despite the enjoyment he appeared to be having, there was another presence nearby that'd make his hobby short lived. Both a voice and a power-leveling nearby, the gravity of an individual's being simply couldn't be ignored. When was so far removed regular civilization, any little disturbance made itself very clear among the mostly peaceful and unvarying landscape of Mt Frappe. Snow, stretching for miles on end until the eye was unable to see anything past the natural vanishing point. To his surprise however, upon immediate inspection of his surroundings a most particular sight would appear in his peripheral. A Majin, with skin pale as the terrain that surrounded it. Mystery would invade his mind as he sought to find out just what brought this person here. Thinking over a few scenarios in his head while he approached the figure with a mild degree of caution, it wouldn't be the first time he risked fighting someone without warning. To his surprise the scene became all the more obvious. A look of shock rose over Sanbu's face as he continued to make sense of what had happened, confused by what he could only describe as a warped image before him. With a concerned expression upon his perturbed visage, he'd advance, seeking to understand more behind the situation at hand. "Why hello over there, seems like you've got yourself in quite the predicament. Not often a fellow Majin frequents this location all that much, might I help you? Your shape is concerning, I'd like to see if we can undo this... liquefaction. I gather its not voluntary. I believe I've got something for that, I've seen similar... cases." The young Majin halfheartedly smiled ever so slightly, trying to make light of what wasn't the best of circumstances. Sanbu would proceed to sit near the stranger, assuming a meditative stance while he'd close his eyes and fall into some deeper plane of concentration. It had been some time since he had really sat down and gotten so seriously involved in a matter. If there was a good time for such a thing, he knew it was now. His head slowly rose to stare at the sky, regard unwavering at the waxing and waning clouds above him. He'd speak with a more pressing tone, as if to push a dialogue with more emphasis on the task at hand. "Your shapelessness, it is very telling of an underlying property of our species. I believe I've got something that may remedy your problem. Tell me, what's brought you to this place? I can't help but feel that this bodily shift and your arrival here are related to one another."

“Mm… that’s one way to put it… guy…” Bloom mumbled to herself. Majin in general were kind of the default weirdos of the world. She wondered if he would be any help. He was offering though. So that was something. Wait. He’d seen this before? Cool! Maybe he could cure her of her melty sickness. And the pressure in her head. She wasn’t really hoping out a ton of hope, but it was nice to have company while she was I disposed.
“If you’ve got some remedy or medicine, I’ll take it… as long as it’s not broccoli…”
As he sat down next to her, Bloom struggled to sit up. It was a little weird to do with half her body in a puddle underneath her. Hm. This guy wasn’t the usual happy, cheery sort. He was kind of like one of those deep martial artist types who liked the spirituality aspect of the stuff. Well, Bloom wasn’t really like that. She liked fighting, yeah, but more so the mayhem and crazy… chaos stuff that went along with it. It was exciting to be all disruptive and stuff. Like poking an ant hill and watching them scurry around.
“Well, I kinda thought the cold would help me get a little more solid… guess not… eh, I’ll be back to normal in a few minutes… What about you, guy…? Oh… I’m Bloom by the way… you might have heard of me maybe… maybe not…”
Shuffling back a little, Bloom pressed her back up to the cliff that she had fallen down. She wiggled her stump of a leg, trying to get her body to respond in some way. Maybe she should just blast herself. Eh, but she really couldn’t muster up the ki to do it.

Sanbu's PL: 64'000
A short bout of laughter could be seen and heard coming from Sanbu's visage as he struggled to maintain his composure. While he did seek to involve more dialogue in his life the Majin never was the most natural of conversationalists in most social settings. Having grown up in a tribe and lifestyle many would consider unorthodox, he'd come to find himself be at times the strange one in a group of otherwise more or less sociable individuals. "Ah, yes.. I suppose that is a way one could've put it. I'm not used to the.. Outside world? Does that make any sense?" He'd sigh, nervously chuckling to himself again, reaching into his kimono as he'd quickly proceed to take out a pipe from it. Stuffing some manner of flora in it before igniting it in quick fashion grace to the use of fire. Jutting out a controlled flame from the tip of the hand opposing the one holding such a device. Lit in his hand he'd go on, taking a drag from the recreational object. He'd wave a hand dismissively at his target of conversation, shaking a head as well while he let some of the fumes escape the pores found in his head. "Unfortunately it is not that simple, we cannot just look to some kind of natural or artificial remedy for the sake of solving this sort of a problem. While they might be able to suppress symptoms, unless we find the cause it is a pointless endeavor. A plant shan't stop growing unless we remove its roots." Sanbu maintained an ever observant glance on the predicament the stranger had found herself in, both intrigued and concerned by the state of the fellow Majin. Every specific detail would be taken note of as he started to consider both the problem he was confronting and in the manner he might tackle it additionally. Great curiosity rose over him as he tried to better understand the person sitting or better yet melting before him, watching with caution as he tried his best not to make clear what he was really thinking. <In this state, things won't bode well for her. I've got to solve find a means of fixing this issue. I do wonder however, shall my methods really be effective? She isn't trained in the way of the open flame, such unique feats of bodily manipulation may not be so easily accessible to her.> "Cold huh, hmm..." Sanbu jut out fire from every pore in his body, showering his body in great flames as he'd appear before the Majin as a shrouded figure of heat. Though a literal inferno, there appeared to be nothing burning on his person save for the snow around him. A pool of water would come to circle around Sanbu before it evaporated away in hurried manner, his ignited form would come to subside while tranquil air started to fill the once smoldering air. "I do not think temperature's your problem, a truly cool mind can enable one the fortitude to withstand remarkable calidity. If I had more time I suppose the answer to your question would naturally be easier to come across however the main suggestion I have for your condition is meditation. One must clear their mind and heart if they are to ever hope to see the gravity of their predicament clearly. Too easily can they blind us from realizing the truth, then and only then may you perhaps finally gain control of your body again." Sanbu would shrug his shoulders after saying the somewhat lengthy, although necessary bit of information to the Majin. Rare were the opportunities to supply his on view on things so freely, he'd exercise such a right with terrific pride. Eager to give his take on the world given his rather particular upbringing compared to other natives of Earth. His eyes would flicker with life for but a few moments after hearing the woman's remark, a brow rose on his part as he'd go on to nod before the individual's very figure. "Why hello then, Bloom. I'm afraid I haven't heard much of a Bloom back home. To my knowledge however, there was news of a few Majin who've caused havoc as of recent. I know not what to make of that information though. Good, bad it does not matter in my eyes, we are all fated to die someday. We need to respect the natural lawlessness of the universe, I guess one's personal satisfaction is what counts. I fear this universe won't last forever so we've got to enjoy it while we can." Sanbu set down the pipe, letting the peculiar flavor of candy gather near him grace to the smoke. "Right you are, I had almost forgotten. The name is Sanbu, I hail from the clan Kapsa. I don't believe you and I would've heard of each other all that much."

“Not… really…” Bloom eyed the orange Majin as he tried to compose himself after belting out a big ole chuckle at presumably her expense. This guy didn’t get out much, did he? Mm, well, shut ins had their own ways of dealing with things, she guessed. For Bloom, she had been a wanderer for almost a year now? Or was it two years? Man, time was hard to keep track of when you went all over. She glanced over at him as he pulled out a pipe and let it with… his hand. Huh. Fire Majin? Bloom hadn’t really heard of that before. Hm. The fumes coming out of his pores did give her an idea or two. Well, anyway, she started listening to what he had to say, realizing about halfway through that he wasn’t going to offer her medicine or anything of the sort. He was going to suggest something that was going to take an incredible amount of effort mentally or spiritually.
“Mmhm…?”
Bloom waited for the punchline. Well, she guessed it wasn’t a punchline so much as the result of her new little social experiment. Was she right? Only time would tell. Ooooh. When the fire Majin expelled flames out of his pores, she raised a hand to clap, realizing that she didn’t… didn’t have the other one to clap with, so she just gave him an awkward thumbs up to express her approval. That was cool. Or… hot. Whatever. And then he hit her with his solution. Meditation. Greeeeat. She had been right.
“Uh-huh… to be honest, I’d rather nap… that’s like meditation, right…?”
It wasn’t. Bloom knew that much from some of the spiritual martial artist that she had met along her travels. This guy did like to hear himself talk, huh? Or maybe it was just that he didn’t have a chance to chat with too many strangers. Still, there was a strange flicker in his eye when she said her name. Did he recognize her? Ah… yup. He recognized her. Fortunately, it didn’t seem like he was keen on taking advantage of her predicament. Nice of the guy. You know, despite his quirks, Bloom didn’t mind him.
“That’s a good way of looking at it… though not everyone would agree with you… I just try to live my life the way I want… I’m still figuring things out… And yeah… that was probably me… and Mumbo… He’s… he’s a good… bad… guy… Uh… He’s touchy feely, ya know…? Anyway, nice to meet ya, Sanbu… You’re not a half-bad guy… or… you are half-bad…? Augh, you know what I mean… I like ya…”
Extending her good hand out for a little handshake, Bloom smiled a relaxed, lazy smile.
“So… how did you do the fire thing…? That a Kapsa thing…? ‘Fraid I don’t have a fancy clan name… my family is big like a clan though… loooots of siblings… They’re better folk than me… but then… they never really understood what I was about…”

Sanbu's PL: 64'000
Sanbu would smile from ear to ear as he'd go on to successfully complete the display of his skills, albeit in a tamer manner. While it was mainly for combative application it was always a pleasure for him to show in more lighthearted settings. If one couldn't enjoy the simple moments, just what was one to do when things got tough? Though on the top of a chilly alpine, the orange Majin had come to know feelings much colder than his surroundings. To keep that fire burning from inside him would take a certain kind of vigor which could permit this life he so tenderly cherished to shine true. The applause, or more so attempt at such would not go unseen by his eyes. Captured well by the trained gaze he gave to the crowd he sought praise from. Just one, still a sole spectator was enough for him as he'd take the slightest of bows towards her direction. Contorting his body while still sitting in the most unnatural of methods grace to the elasticity of his Majin body. "Why thank you, just a little party trick for people who aren't too familiar with the ways of my clan." A concerned expression briefly formed upon the Majin's face as he then proceeded to see yet again some more evidence of the individual's sickness. While the individual's state of health was in ambiguous territory he for the time being would set aside such worried feelings. Much as he felt personally involved in the matter's development it did no good to dwell on thoughts he could not tackle at the moment. Over the course of many years Sanbu came to learn that it proved best not to directly face the wind of resistance but glide past it in graceful manner. Challenging things head on rarely ever satisfied his mind let alone true sentiments. A nervous shake of the head would be given to Bloom as his joyful demeanor started to taper off, returning to a more calm although still energetic self. Various playful elements to his character were still very present but there remained a subtle element of reservedness. As if something just wasn't right. <No matter, I shall let these feelings part with me. Moments come and go but I must not let this fire inside of me falter, earthly possessions tie down the spirit. Let go, or be dragged. I mustn't think too strongly about these things else I risk only making things worse for myself.> Sanbu's eyes slowly started to close as he'd begin to breath with an increasingly ever so slow rhythm. The act of breathing was not a necessary function for the Majin but in times such as these meditation provided an excellent source of ease when it struck him as imperative to his health. "Nap? For someone of your strength you strike me as the comedic type if you deem that as meditation. You're among the first to give me that kind of description for that exercise. Wonderful joke that was, my clan would love that." With a slow and calculated personality to his mannerism he'd acknowledge the remark through a flourish of the hand. His thoughts would be collected in a swift fashion while he'd come to surface more active parts of his consciousness. This was truly the part of the dialogue he wanted to speak towards, a delicate grin materialized itself on Sanbu's face as he started up on his bit of discussion. "I'm most pleased you could see things my way Bloom, its refreshing meeting another Majin. I must say, the pleasure is all mine." He'd press on with a more serious tone. "Somehow civilization, technology and a blend of other things have crippled The Way. Natural and organic it was, sacrificed it became for this artificial product we call modernity. Regardless, onward with the conversation I suppose. Yes, excellent model of living you've got, superb. That's really the only way to do it, if we don't want to live our lives we are already dead. ...This Mumbo you speak of, there's something intriguing about that man. I'd like to know more if the opportunity could ever present itself. Majins need to unite more often." A humorous aspect gathered upon Sanbu's being as he'd make an indirect reply towards a statement brought up by Bloom. Sly and somewhat sarcastic would be the response given, an air of humor joined its company. "I guess I do know what you mean, and about that other thing. Well, thanks. I don't think anyone's completely good, half-good is more than what most people can ever really hope to achieve. Are people bad because of what they do? Or are they bad because of they are? I don't think we should define good and bad so objectively, don't you agree?" The gesture would be well met with a hand of his own, shaking the Majin's hand with a most dutiful quality to his person. "The fire thing? That Kapsa thing, right. Its called the Method of the Burning Lantern, it was named such due to the way fire can remain lit within hollow spaces. The Majin body is especially essential for its usage given the way we can change how dense and how porous or body is at a given moment. Its a fighting style my people have come to make use of over the generations that's become invaluable in this climate especially. Enough of that though, on this with this other matter." Sanbu crossed his arms while he gazed at Bloom, rather invested in the final words spoken to him. "Family, isn't that a tender thing. Unfortunate when people can't come to an agreement about matters but it does seem inevitable at times. To try and make peace with everything would be like to try and make water still by moving it. Unchecked chaos will naturally find balance, this is what I believe."

“Hmm…” This guy was a little strange. The slightest praise got him grinning from ear to ear. He even bowed toward her like he was some kind of performer. Bloom chuckled to herself and shook her head. Oh, Kami. Speaking of Chime, she should probably go visit the guy soon. Though, she imagined he wouldn’t be super keen on seeing her now that she was a villain. He seemed like he was getting worried about something or other. She reached up as he closed his eyes and tapped him lightly on his cheek. No dice. Hm. This meditation stuff looked pretty intense.
Eventually, he opened his eyes again and laughed about her nap comment. Bloom smiled awkwardly unsure whether or not he understood that she hadn’t actually been joking. Well, anyway, introductions were done. And, as she tried to listen to and process what the hell he was saying, she sort of got the gist that he wasn’t a big fan of modernism. A real philosopher, this guy. Bloom didn’t really think about things that much. Though, one thing he said made her cringe and smile all at once.
“Majins need to unite more, huh…? You should see my family reunion… talk about clans and gather majin in droves… Can’t say I care for it much…”
Bloom held back a groan as he debated on the objectivity of good and evil. They weren’t objective, she knew that, but she didn’t need him to exposit on it. At least, he moved on to something more interesting. The whole fire thing. From what she gathered, they just held a flame inside of them like a lanturn, giving it some sort of fuel. Maybe the fuel was their ki? Bloom was pretty good at ki manipulation, but not that good. She really tried to follow along in his last words, but she really didn’t get it. Something about chaos finding balance?
“I like things when they’re chaotic though… It’s much more fun…”
Oh! Hey! Bloom could feel her arm again. With a swift motion, she summoned the freezing goop back onto her stump and reformed her arm with a little flex. Nice! Hopping to her feet, she dusted the snow off of her form. Well, the cold had been a bust for fixing whatever was wrong with her, but she got to meet a weirdo, so that was definitely something.
“Hey, it’s been cool… heh… But I should probably go… In search of medicine or whatever… See you around…!”
With that, Bloom gave a small wave and walked off the side of a cliff. She caught herself pretty easily and jetted off back toward North City. Maybe some of the other goons had swung by and she could catch up with them. She missed them when they all went AWOL. It made her wonder if that was the norm or something.

Sanbu's PL: 64'000
In Sanbu's most lighthearted days did a quote constantly get repeated to him by a former friend and mentor. While of time's past, its applicability couldn't help but be more understood at a time like this. <Save your words, for remember we speak most with a closed mouth. Was that not how it went? Oh joy, I told myself I would stop getting so nostalgic and yet here is where I find myself.> A more organized demeanor started to gather itself upon his body, mind halfway in thought and the actual conversation at hand. In their period of silence was there a great exchange being had, ever studious on the small intricacies of the dialogue not exactly revealed through speech. Whether it be the way one stood or sat, laughed or smiled even. All characteristics were worthy of being regarded as he tried to decipher the unspoken conversation. A terse moment of quiet would be had as he listened with a look of balanced investment at the Majin before him. Both pipe and dialogue compelling him to operate with differing degrees of attention or care to the task of hand. A light smoke would be had as he blew away the sweet smelling fumes through his mouth for a change. Speech somewhat distorted as bits of cloud blew out of his lips. "I feel like we ought not be so splintered, most species have a specific land or planet to call their own but we're a little different that way. ..Forget it though, that was probably a piece of discourse better said for another time, place and context. I don't blame you for your feelings concerning that kind of a thing. Unless done with purpose it can be oh so needless having such large social organization." Meager would be the smirk that formed on Sanbu's countenance, his expression getting a fair deal aloof as he finally brought attention to the cliff that was a mere few feet beyond where he was sitting. Broad and surely with a depth certain to reach lands far away than that of the isolated habit of Mount Frappe. Sanbu's glance started to hone in on this very geographical phenomena, overwhelmed by particular atmosphere of the setting. As his stare, so was the Majin's mental attention wandering someplace not so relevant concerning the conversation at hand. "Hmm.. of the two answers one might have given to such a question, I think you chose the better of the two. We ought to pursue chaos more. All work and no play makes us all dull." Whether through a choice selection of words or the overall natural pace and mood of the circumstances, it appeared that the conversation had ran its course. A detached expression started to resonate through Sanbu's voice as he spoke aloud with a property of indifference to its tone . "Oh is that so? May you find vitality along your path. Sayonara Bloom." A calm swarm of pink clouds began to clutter around Sanbu as he would make use of his pipe even more so, frantically puffing it a numerous many times as he started to ruminate in the whistling winds of Mount Frappe. Well hidden under the canopy of falling snow.
